Young Blood

Episode 35

I’m begging you!

Don’t lie.

Tell me the truth.

Prince.

I…

I like her.

That’s good, huh?

Okay.

Since you like each other,

let me make it clear.

First, you should live with us.

Someone has to inherit my mansion.

Second,

after you get married,

you can’t keep my daughter at home

or stop her from chasing her dream.

Prince.

Wait.

What do you mean?

You can’t accept the conditions?

I can’t marry her.

All right.

Conditions

can be negotiated.

It’s okay if you don’t marry into our family.

Your child will be surnamed Zhao, okay?

Not because of it.

I really can’t marry her.

Fine.

It doesn’t matter if your child isn’t surnamed Zhao.

I mention it casually.

Is it okay?

Prince, please listen to me.

I’m not bargaining for conditions.

She’s out of my league.

I know.

You’re not the legitimate son.

But I don’t care.

As long as my daughter likes you

and you

treat her sincerely,

I can accept it.

What’s more,

many people don’t have a good family but work hard.

There’s nothing to feel inferior.

It’s not because I feel inferior.

If I marry Zhao Jian,

I may cause her to lose life.

Lose life?

You…

What do you want?

You want to revolt?

How is it possible?

Why would you cause Jian to lose life?

I can’t tell you in detail.

But you must believe me.

I really have difficulties that are hard to mention.

You can tell me your difficulties.

We can discuss

and solve them together.

I can’t tell you right now.

Well,

well,

I can kowtow to you.

Please don’t.

If you kowtow, I have to hit the ground.

Fine.

You tell me the truth.

To be honest,

I really have difficulties.

Otherwise, I definitely come here to propose a marriage alliance.

After I finish my things,

if Zhao Jian still doesn’t get married,

I must come back.

Finish your things?

Well,

how long will it take?

I don’t know, either.

It’s…

It’s nonsense!

Yuan Zhongxin, I…

Are you holding the wedding?

We are joking.

I …

We are playing games.

Why do you come back?

This is my home.

Why can’t I get back?

You’re right.

Do you…

Do you hear what we were talking about?

When I enter, I see you are exchanging bows.

So,

what were you talking about?

Ah,

we were talk about the weather.

Jian,

didn’t you go to

enjoy the beautiful flowers with Lin Mosheng?

Why do you come back so soon?

Oh,

I beat him.

What?

The wound

seems to be caused by

those soldiers.

Are you sure about that?

I’m most likely sure.

Very high possibility.

Who does he do?

I have checked.

He’s a rogue.

He has enemies everywhere.

It’s difficult to deal with.

There is another clue.

In recent days,

homicide cases occurred in succession in the market.

Serial killings?

Did they kill all of them?

We should check these corpses one by one.

Aren’t they smelly?

Instructor Liang was attacked;

and rogues were killed.

I always think there is a big thing behind it.

We don’t work for Secret Repository anymore.

But we are still Song people.

Fine.

You are eloquent.

I surrender to you.

Let’s do it!

I keep you company.

I kill him!

Father,

I have taught him a lesson.

How dare he!

He thinks that I daren’t kill people?

Father,

this kind of people

isn’t worthy of getting your hands dirty.

Are you alright?

Don’t you know my martial arts?

Why does he become the president?

I guess

that he daren’t find me later.

I beat him once if he will come here once.

He dares to hurt my daughter.

Prince,

President Lin sends a letter.

Ask for punishments?

I don’t know.

Get it.

He pisses me off.

What’s going on?

This bastard

is going to take the examination for engagement.

What?

I arrange it.

I think

if there are

many suitable people,

they will take civil examination together.

Success or failure depends on their talents.

Whoever wins

has the chance to marry Jian.

He is so mean.

He actually has courage to take the examination.

He must be insane.

He says in his letter that,

if I refuse him to take the examination,

he will spread rumors throughout Binzhou.

What rumors?

He will spread rumors

that I don’t obey female virtues.

He will also cause me not to get married.

Will people believe him?

He’s the president of Chamber of Commerce.

He also manages his relationships in Binzhou for many years.

He has some connections.

No way.

I don’t allow him to slander Jian.

I ask people

to beat him.

No need.

By the time,

other people will think we have a guilty conscience.

Well,

how do you think we should do?

Let him take the examination?

Let him do it.

Anyway, that guy is ignorant and incompetent.

Even though he takes the examination, he will be eliminated.

By then, he can say nothing more.

Jian,

why do you become so good-natured now?

I just

use the most direct method

to drive the bastard away.

I don’t take part in the examination.

What do you want?

You must take the examination tomorrow.

I can’t.

Come back.

You think it over.

If that guy insists on taking the examination,

it shows that he is well prepared.

What if he succeeds?

You have to stop him personally.

What should I do?

Candidates come in!

Why is there the other seat?

Who are you?

Both of us is here to take the examination.

You needn’t know me.

Give up the examination,

and I’ll give you a shop.

Why don’t you give up?

Binzhou is under my control.

Don’t court death.

The examination begins.

Childe Yuan.

Childe Lin.

Your tea.

He’s here.

Take a look.

Let me see it.

Are you clear?

This question.

Hurry!

Someone is cheating.

The newly-employed servant

is bought over by Lin Mosheng and passes on the answer for Lin.

In the backyard,

many scholars get together and answer the question.

And then they will send the answer back.

Well,

who are you?

Why make unfounded attack on me?

Or,

I can keep you company

to see those scholars who’re helping you.

They…

They have nothing to do with me.

What do you want?

What do you want?

What do you want?

I’m the president of Chamber of Commerce.

Let me go.

I’m the president.

Let me go.

I’m the president.

Let me go.

Yuan, you have finished.

I send it in.

No.

Our goal has been completed.

Forget it.

No,

you have finished.

It’s necessary to calculate the score.

Great!

Your answers are perfect!

Among the candidates,

you get the highest score.

It seems

you are destined to marry Zhao Jian.

Wait!

Father,

you have said

that the cheater will be disqualified, right?

All right.

Disqualify Yuan Zhongxin.

Talk about it later.

Why say so?

These are the answers that I write in advance.

How could it be possible?

He never has the chance to see it.

I check it personally.

Who can he buy over?

Buy over you.

Me?

How could it be possible?

How could it be possible that I give him the answers?

In my answers,

there is something wrong.

Or,

you can check Yun Zhongxin’s answers

to see whether there are same mistakes.

Jian,

you are cunning.

Just in case.

In case that

I find some guy for you casually?

Jian!

Jian!

Jian!

Prince,

I’ll talk with her.

Right,

you talk with her.

I tell you

that I have shown my card.

She

must scruple.

Yuan Zhongxin,

you just badger with her,

crying, making a scene and even threatening her by suicide.

No…

Take whatever measures are useful.

I think they aren’t suitable.

What aren’t suitable?

I firmly believe you to be my son-in-law.

I tell you.

I believe you to be my son-in-law.

Otherwise,

I die in front of you.

Prince, are you alright?

It aches.

You give your father the wrong answers.

It’s not to prevent him cheating,

but

you don’t want to get married.

You are his only concern.

You set extremely difficult questions on purpose

and give him wrong answers.

Because you’re afraid that once your marriage is settled,

the prince will feel relieved

and lose his desire to live.

Am I right?

I really can’t hide anything from you.

I

have an advantage.

That is, I know you well.

To be honest,

this isn’t a long-term policy.

I know.

Delay it as far as possible.

Even if he stays with me for one quarter,

it’s good.

Let’s think from another angle.

In case your marriage is settled,

maybe your father feels happy

and then recovers.

I hope so.

Tell me about you.

I have nothing to tell you.

Why do you agree to cheat?

Could it be that…

It isn’t because I want to marry you.

Why do you feel panic?

I…

Why do I feel panic?

I don’t feel panic.

I tell you.

The only reason is that

I hate that bastard.

You hate me so much?

No.

Well,

there is nothing to do with it.

Why do you look like

that you are prepared to die?

Yuan Zhongxin,

I thought it over just now.

I think that you sound right.

Exactly, my father likes you, too.

What about

having a try?

To check his response.

No.

Yuan Zhongxin,

do you hide anything from me?

No, I don’t.

Your expression clearly shows that you hide something from me.

Tell me.

Maybe I can help you.

I said no.

The only reason is that

I hate that bastard.

I hate him very much.

Do I explain it clearly?

Do you understand?

No.

Zhao Jian, I…

I don’t mean it.

Step aside.

Go.

Step aside.

Step aside.

Are you looking for me?

They beat you?

Who are they?

After I beat them, they tell me the truth.

They said Lin Mosheng asked them to do it.

It’s all my fault.

I actually chose such a person for Jian.

If I don’t feel that he looks like you,

I wouldn’t have chosen him.

Can we not mention our appearances?

By the way,

I heard one thing

from his henchmen

that Lin Mosheng really starts to spread rumors

everywhere

and slander Zhao Jian.

It’s outrageous!

I must kill him.

Prince,

please rest assured.

I’m good at this kind of thing.

Let me do it.

How will you do?

I’ll sneak into Lin Mosheng’s residence tonight

and beat him.

Then he will behave himself.

Right.

Beat him hard.

No.

You can’t beat him to death.

I’m afraid that you have no chance.

Hot news.

Lin Mosheng and his guards

are dead.

Cut throat by one strike.

It looks like that the murderers burst into suddenly.

Judging from the traces of struggle on the spot,

there should be two murderers.

But who killed them?

Whom does Lin Mosheng become enemies with?

They killed him so fiercely.

Constable Liu.

Princess.

What do you find?

Does Lin Mosheng have enemies?

Childe Lin has countless enemies.

He starts a feud with some guy recently.

I heard that

he sent his henchmen

to track that guy and beat him.

But

I haven’t found the target.

You needn’t find that guy.

It’s me.

She is my alibi witness.

You can ask her.

No need.

We have arrested the murderer.

I told you

that I didn’t kill people.

What’s going on?

After being attacked last time,

I keep watch on their whereabouts.

Finally, I found their traces.

When I came here,

they were killing people.

Originally,

they wanted to kill me

but they were killed by me.

You killed these two people?

They are the soldiers I have mentioned.

Why did they kill Lin Mosheng?

What’s the matter?

There are some poisons hidden in his nails.

So is his mouth.

This isn’t normal soldiers.

Secret agents?

Which side?

I don’t know.

I never thought that this thing

gets involved with secret agents.

It becomes more and more interesting.

So, they two aren’t Song people.

Something is wrong.

One person is missing.

What do you mean?

I beat Lin Mosheng’s guards

in the day.

The number is wrong.

There is a survivor?

As long as we find this person,

maybe we can find why Lin Mosheng is killed.

You release him first.

He is Liang Zhu, No. 1 instructor among imperial guards.

If he fights, do you think you can catch him?

Instructor Liang doesn’t want to hurt you.

Is he Instructor Liang?

Why is Lin Mosheng killed?

Is it possible that he is also a secret agent?

Lin family has a profound ground in Binzhou.

He’s unlikely to be a secret agent.

We should find the missing guard.

Maybe we can find out the truth.

I always think this killing is just a start.

It depends on whether we can stop all of this.

I’m leaving.

I feel worried about Instructor Liang.

Hasn’t he been like this all the time?

What do we do now?

Go back to the mansion.

Binzhou is not a small city.

We two

are not enough

to find a person.

It’s just right

that Wang Kuan and other people are investigating the soldiers.

Ask them to help me.

Let’s go.

The president of Chamber of Commerce was killed?

Who is the suspect?

Catching Liang Zhu is a misunderstanding.

The murderer

is the soldier.

Are their throats cut by one strike?

Exactly.

We have checked many old cases recently.

Many beggars and rogues have been killed.

Their throats are cut by one strike.

The murderers should be the same people.

The question is that there is no motive for murder.

Rogues and the president

are distinct people.

Why killed them?

That’s right.

How many people are killed?

They are too fierce and cruel.

This thing gets more and more terrible.

Maybe it gets involved with secret agents.

As usual, I ask you one question.

It isn’t the mission from imperial court.

Whoever doesn’t want to take part in

can reject.

Section chief,

what kind of people do you think we are?

Junior Wei, it’s rare that you are so passionate.

Of course.

I can’t let my dad lose face.

Ah?

Besides,

after we complete this mission,

maybe we can take credits

and Secret Repository will be resumed.

We must find Lin family’s guard this time.

In this case,

we investigate tomorrow.

You stay in the mansion and guard Zhao Jian.

Why do I guard her?

Serial killings

may do a threat to the mansion.

Do you think if you should guard her or not?

You’re right.

[Mansion of Prince Zhao]

Say it again.

Earlier in the morning today,

someone tore the announcement for seeking marriage

and answered the questions.

I checked the answers personally.

They’re totally correct.

Where is his test paper?

If he didn’t cheat,

his answers are better than mine.

Where is he?

He left after finishing the questions.

He said that he will send betrothal presents another day.

He didn’t leave his name or family name?

No.

But,

he left a gift for Zhao Jian.

A gift?

Is this the gift that guy gave you?

That guy left me a message,

asking me whether I can find a solution to defeat the enemy.

What deployment?

Let me see.

This is the challenge for me.

I deal with it on my own.

Stay out of it.

Fine.

You do it.

In terms of civil and martial arts, he is excellent.

He also is expert at deployment of troops and arrays.

I really want

to see such a talent.

Where are other people?

Wang Juan went to find Lin family’s guard.

Why did I not know

that you like sand table?

I like these things that sharpen my mind.

I’m curious who he is.

He actually can guess your mind correctly.

How could it be possible that

people’s mind and secrets are guessed right so easily?

If you

don’t say anything out,

other people may never know it.

What do you think?

What do you say?

I said it casually.

Why are you nervous?

Why am I nervous?

I’m not nervous.

I…

You plan to continue playing it?

Don’t we investigate the cause of Lin Mosheng’s death?

Aren’t they investigating it?

They use their methods.

I have my methods.

What do you mean?

You tell me first

which shop has the most delicious sugar-coated haws.

What the hell do you gonna do?

Wait and see.

What do you want to know?

Lin Mosheng’s guard.

Wu!

Open it!

Open!

Your turn.

Open!

Wu!

Wu!

Someone is calling me.

Where will you go?

Don’t leave.

You are boring.

About Lin Mosheng.

Find a guard.

Think it clearly.

Many people died in Lin family.

Don’t worry.

They don’t look like bad persons.

What the hell are you doing?

Wait a moment.

Can I have a moment with you?

Go.

Follow me.

Nobody is here.

Lin Mosheng was killed.

Lin family is preparing funerals for him in these days.

There definitely aren’t people in this room.

Besides, Xue Ying is guarding outside.

Don’t worry.

What do we look for?

Many people were killed recently.

Most of them are rogues.

Only Lin Mosheng has an unusual status.

Why did the murderer kill Lin Mosheng?

I don’t know.

I don’t know, either.

I just think

that those soldiers are cryptic,

they killed humble people.

But they killed Lin Mosheng suddenly.

It’s likely that

Lin Mosheng

does a threat to their whereabouts

or targets.

His findings

may still be in the room.

What are the findings?

I don’t know.

You don’t know what they are.

How do we find them?

If they are still here,

do you think those people will leave them here?

You mean

the murderers will also come here?

Xue Ying’s signal.

Someone is coming here.

You just watch him eating?

Beggars exist in every city.

Beggars

are the most unnoticed ears and eyes

in the city.

Beggar gangs?

You read too many stories.

They are not gangs,

but groups.

Sugar-coated haws are delicious.

Which guard do you find?

The missing one.

The missing one?

Many people are looking for him.

Hmm.

If I help you ask about him,

do you think sugar-coated haws are enough?

We work together.

It’s not so easy.

Here you are.

Wait for my news.

He leaves like this?

He even didn’t ask our name.

Rest assured.

Why do you find him?

Beggars in Binzhou are under his command.

His words are useful.

How do you know?

I asked Old Thief before I came here.

How does he know?

He knows a lot

about the personnel underground

in all cities of Song.

Why do I feel

that this kid looks familiar?

Let’s go.

Let’s go.

Let’s go back to wait for news.

Go.

Thanks a lot.

Did you kill

Lin Mosheng and those rogues?

He ran so quickly.

Don’t we chase him?

Xue Ying is outside.

What’s the matter?

What secrets are there?

It turns out that

Lin Mosheng bought over those rogues.

These are the details that they report.

Those rogues who are killed?

In this case, they are connected.

What news?

Insignificant trifles in the market.

How many polished round-grained rice did rice dealer buy last month?

How many perfumes were sold last month?

All are these stuffs?

He is the president of Chamber of Commerce.

He may use this method

to confirm trading details of various kinds of dealers.

Why was he killed?

Yes,

why?

Haven’t you played enough?

This is complicated.

I always think that I should think it over.

He sent the sand table here,

but didn’t show up.

Do you think

this guy is a little special?

The sand table is interesting.

I don’t care who sent it.

Prince.

Can I help you?

Well,

last time,

you didn’t tell me clearly.

You must give me a definite answer this time.

Do you want to marry Zhao Jian?

If you want,

I’ll cancel her engagement.

I have told you last time.

I can’t marry her.

I may get Zhao Jian killed.

By now,

you still refuse to tell me the season.

It’s not that I refuse to tell you.

It’s…

It’s that I can’t tell you.

What do you mean?

Let my daughter wait for you all the time?

I know.

Do you ever think that

in case that she meets a suitable person,

by that time,

it’s too late for you.

If it is the case,

that’s my destiny.

You…

Fine.

You don’t strive for it.

Then resign yourself to destiny.

Why do you look gloomy?

I know it.

You think out a way?

That beggar.

I saw him before.

Princess,

I will buy whatever you like for you.

Go away!

Step aside if you don’t have any money.

Thanks.

Thank you.

I met him several times afterwards.

Did you arrange it?

Don’t stare at me.

Binzhou is a small city.

It’s not rare to see him several times, right?

Princess.

Sister.

Childe Yuan,

you ordered

that if a kid in rags comes here,

lead him in directly.

You may go.

Tell me

if this brother asked you to follow me before.

No.

If you

tell me the truth

before I count to ten,

I provide you with sugar-coated haws for one year

and twenty taels.

Ten.

Yuan Zhongxin wrote me a letter

and asked me

to report all of your news to him.

Why?

Of course, he likes you.

You don’t see it.

A child says what he thinks.

He is talking nonsense.

I tell the truth.

Grown-ups are boring.

Enough!

Let’s get down to business.

You find that guy?

The missing guard is named Li Zhen.

My people saw him in the eastern region just now.

Why is the range so broad?

Lin Mosheng was killed.

Why didn’t Li Zhen notify the government?

He has secrets

and daren’t notify the government.

He neither dare notify the government, nor wants to die.

What will he do?

Leave Binzhou.

Sister,

the best master who makes false instruments

lives in the eastern region.

Make false pass.

Besides false pass,

he may need false family register and tax documents.

With these instruments,

Li Zhen can change his identity and

live in other places.

It will take a long time to make such stuffs.

Li Zhen should still be in the place of the master.

Let’s go.

Sister,

where are my sugar-coated haws and money?

Ask the warehouse keeper for sugar-coated haws.

Can we go?

No hurries.

The murderers want to destroy this account book.

It shows that the clues are hidden inside.

Let me check it.

Can’t we take the book away?

Why check it in his room?

In case there are relevant books and volumes,

it’s convenient to find them here.

Hurry up!

If we are caught, they will send us to the local government.

Xue,

you scare me to death.

You followed that guy?

I followed him out of the city.

Then I can’t follow him.

Why?

He entered the camp of Wuwei Army.

Camp?

Does he sneak into?

Wuwei Army is guarded strictly.

He has no chance to sneak into.

How did he enter?

With a token.

A military?

The token may be false.

At least, it is an idea.

I check items about Wuwei Army.

Let me do it.

Who is there?

I ask you about the pass.

What do you want?

Sir,

did a person named Li Zhen come here

and make false pass and family register?

There is a rule in our industry.

I can’t disclose transaction details.

You can go.

Please accept it.

Leave here.

Please tell me.

I will give you more rewards after that.

Too much money.

The rule is the rule.

You go.

It’s not enough, right?

I also have money.

You want a knife or money?

Sir,

it’s not hard to choose.

Calm down.

Li Zhen isn’t your relative, right?

It’s unnecessary to risk your life.

He asked me to make false pass and family register.

And then he left.

When?

One quarter ago.

What is his name in the pass?

Lu Fei.

Which two characters?

[Lu Fei]
