It's so uncomfortable.

You can sense there's a team Janey & Envy

and a team Ma'Ma Queen & Abby.

I think it's fierce, it's gag, it's lovely,

but it doesn't really feel like a win.

I worked fucking hard to reach the finale,

and then, it was like, "Oh!"

[Envy] Janey and I are livid!

You want to go to the finale with three people?

Now we have to beat three people at the lip-synch battle.

I have some mixed feelings.

I really tried to be nice.

But they tried to destroy me.

Abby takes it very personally.

Are you still mad we mentioned your name?

You're very passive-aggressive. What's going on?

It's as if I didn't deserve it.

I'm happy to be here,

but after all the commentary and all that's happened,

I'm just speechless. It's so much.

Envy should have been a good sister

I thought I saw Abby getting stronger,

but she fooled us all.

That's not the case.

I'm very happy to be one step closer to the crown,

but I don't look forward to dealing with someone

who should be sitting on the couch at home.

One thing I know for sure.

I'm not going to make it any easier for the other girls.

[Envy] We should all be enjoying the finale.

If there's some tension among us,

it can lead to stronger performances,

or it could tear everything down.

I prefer to get everything out in the open.

I just wanted to talk about what happened on the runway.

It almost feels as if you don't want me here.

In Episode 5, I gave my all. I gave 200%.

Then I have to hear from my sister

that she doesn't want me in the finale.

Before we talked, I had the suspicion

that she tried to play the victim

and portray me as the bad guy.

I just answered the question that Fred posed to me.

I'm just disappointed.

What did I do wrong?

That's not what this is about. Don't play the victim.

It really hurts me.

We started together, and now you do this to me.

I'm not sure if she's being true with her emotions,

because I've seen Abby take things too personally

in this competition.

I'm sorry if I hurt you. I didn't mean to.

- No, I know. - But this is a competition.

but it just really hurt me.

Feelings are important to me, so...

that's how I try to be,

but I don't think I can do this in a race.

It felt great to talk it out with her.

I was very happy with my look,

but the jury didn't like our presentation,

so I had to lip-synch.

Janey's are there, and Ma'Ma's.

Well, they never stood out anyway.

She's always half naked

and probably keeps them in a small bag somewhere.

I wanted to show all my looks. I was ready.

It sucks that I didn't get to do that.

Things are fine. It was a wonderful experience.

I wasn't aware that I had so much more to offer.

I didn't want to keep doing the same thing.

This is what we'll do in the finale.

You'll do a runway with your ultimate best drag.

Time to pull out all the stops,

because this is the very last runway

where you'll be able to wow the judges,

but also me.

Later, my good friend Nikkie Plessen and I

are going to do an in-depth podcast with you,

and it's going to be hard work,

because famous choreographer Gerald van Windt

and his assistant Frank will teach you

a special RuPaul lip-synch medley

that you will present on the runway.

All this today, within a couple of hours?

I was just hoping I could focus on my finale outfit,

but now I've got to do a medley?

It's going to be a lot of work, girls,

but it is the grand finale!

[Envy] We get on the runway, and there are Gerald and Frank.

They'll teach us a new dance routine in no time.

We have a couple of hours,

and we have to get it and be on-point.

We have to get our butts in gear.

Today, we're going to work on the RuPaul medley.

We don't have much time to see if it'll work,

and we want to do as well as or even better than the Rusical.

You'll have to show why you're in the finale.

We all know that Gerald is quite the task master

and is like, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow!

Frank is gorgeous.

I'm trying to focus on Gerald and not on Frank.

I'm not really good at this,

but I'm not the only one struggling.

I keep messing up the same step.

As a coach, Gerald is a badass.

It's a bit overwhelming.

I've got the attitude down.

I saw Nikkie look at me, and it just dawned on me

that she's never seen us completely out of drag.

You're a queen who's fierce, sexy, and full of energy.

That's why you're still in the finale.

But sometimes, you're just on fire.

Why is that?

Sometimes I feel like I can't let myself down.

I've had that feeling ever since I was a child.

I just want to be myself.

That means being gay and dressing up,

using make-up.

Did your parents see this? What was that process like?

They hated it.

- How did they express that? - I had to leave immediately.

That's where that feeling came from.

I can see my old struggles...

- [Nikkie] I get that. - [Fred] In this race.

In this race, yes.

You don't want to be addressed as a man or a woman, but as...?

As a human being.

I want to surround myself with people

who don't define me by my gender but by the energy I give.

I always like to see how other people see me.

- I identify as a human being. - Yeah.

Do you have to fight for that?

The world can be cruel, and sometimes it strikes me that

I come home from a gig and I feel fabulous,

but two seconds later, people look at me as if I'm crazy.

That's hard.

I always think that I'm not the one who's in prison.

People seem to think

that I'm on this eternal quest for myself.

But I look around me and think

there are so many people who are limiting themselves

to social rules or societal expectations.

I've released myself completely from all those things,

and I love my life.

What's your favorite realization in the world?

I love it when people are unapologetically themselves.

The bad part is that,

although we don't want to label ourselves, we actually do.

Do you do it?

I try to do it less and less,

because I'm always conscious that I'm not perfect now,

and I'm never going to be,

but I always want to be the best version of myself.

But it happens subconsciously.

The other queens think you're bitchy.

Could that be a sort of shield against an insecurity?

I'm not an insecure person,

but it is a type of wall to prevent people

from getting too close, too quickly.

Your coming out, when was that?

It was later in life.

These days, people come out when they're 14 or so.

I was 21.

No! Why so late?

For a very long time, I suffered from an inner homophobia.

I just couldn't accept that I was attracted to men.

- But you knew? - Of course I did.

But I repressed it for so long,

and I had preconceived notions about the whole gay scene.

I thought I didn't want to be a part of that.

And, finally, I couldn't take it anymore,

so I came out.

- [Fred] Yeah. - And two months later,

I had my first boyfriend. [laughs]

You look quite confident. Do you have any insecurities?

Absolutely, I do, but I keep those hidden.

That's very cliché,

but it's also something that keeps me focused,

and there's always room to grow.

If you could call someone

to tell them you're in the finale...

- My dad. - And what would you tell him?

[laughs]

That I've achieved something I've dreamed about for a while,

that I love him and I wish he could be here with me.

Um...

and that he can be very proud of me.

He is, believe me.

the iconic Dita Von Teese.

To me, she symbolizes ultimate femininity.

I feel gorgeous. Fashion meets drag.

This is the ultimate Envy Peru look.

[Nikkie T] Dita Von Drag.

As black as night.

How old were you here?

[Envy] I was 4. I'd just arrived in the Netherlands.

[Fred] Do you remember how you felt then?

I was incredibly vulnerable and scared to go to a new country.

If you would have met your 4-year-old self,

what would you have told him?

Life won't be easy.

You will be teased for your appearance,

your femininity, your sexual orientation,

but remember that all those things

will enable you to be the person you are today.

Follow your heart.

Janey, I noticed that, at the beginning,

all your dance moves were on-point.

Not a single misstep.

I just have a small problem with the outfit.

It felt...

I've got to say it... dated.

Yes, it's 30 years old.

It was made by the Prince Charming partnership,

for the Love Ball at the Roxy in 1994, I think.

So, what I just said was...

It was the first piece of couture I bought for myself.

I've always used it in my career.

My drag mama is an old-school drag queen.

I miss that a bit from what I see

with the younger generation, of which I'm also a part.

The origins of it are sometimes forgotten.

You're usually pretty flawless, and this is no different.

That extra exotic hint is really fantastic.

To me, you are the Victoria's Secret Angel

that I had loved to see on the Victoria's Secret stage.

I loved the conversation we had.

You truly showed your sensitive side.

You've had an enormous transformation.

If I had to be very critical of your outfits--

Generally, you always look great.

I wasn't a huge fan of your first outfit,

with those lights.

But these are just tiny details.

Abby, you know how much I love the fact that you're here

in a dress that doesn't reveal a whole lot,

but looks so incredibly sexy on you?

I also really liked

that your usual act with all that laughter

and all that winking, was a bit more subdued this time.

In doing so, you exuded class.

The dance act was nice,

because you showed us the Abby we know and love.

We all heard you tell us that your life hasn't been easy.

What I like is that you don't try to hide it

But I had maybe one criticism.

It looked like your hoodie in the opening was secured.

I think you were a breath of fresh air in this competition.

When I look at you, to me, it looks just as beautiful

as what Olivier Rousteing designs for Balmain.

This could have been one of his creations.

I think it's lovely that you bring

a touch of fashion to the scene.

The dance was okay,

although there were a couple of hiccups,

especially towards the end.

But the beginning was tight.

You have to really own the role of a queen,

and you do that time after time.

I don't have a problem with vintage, I love it,

but when we talk about Victoria's Secret,

I thought the wig looked dated.

To me, it could have been a bit more sexy.

Janey is a born entertainer.

And that's why the steps in her intro were absolutely perfect.

What I like a lot is that she's enjoying it.

Besides the fact that she's gorgeous with beautiful outfits

and can move, she also has that energy.
