You Complete Me

Episode 10

Don't worry.

I'll keep my word.

I'll do my internship at Dalong.

But in the Guangzhou branch,

not the headquarters.

Wo,

as I have already told you,

Zheng Wanying works for me.

Our relationship

is not like what you think.

What I think?

Did you forget

why mom left you?

When my mom passed away,

where were you?

Either she's good at acting,

or you are a hypocrite!

Can't you forgive me?

It's not me to whom

you should seek for forgiveness.

You should ask for it from my mom!

Gao Shan, are you crazy?

You have no right to fall in love

before you can defeat Qin Shengsheng.

I don't wanna fight.

I have no such intention either.

It's getting late.

I'll go home and rest.

Hold on.

For next five months,

you'll be Zheng Wanying's assistant.

Your job is to assist her with IPO

and the HR related work of Dalong.

You must do your best

to finish the work she assigns to you.

You arrange me work for that woman?

From today on,

she'll be your superior.

Watch out for your attitude.

You should call her Ms. Zheng.

You are back!

I just vented a little.

And now I feel much better!

I saw your dad's car downstairs.

Deng Li told me

that you'd intern for Dalong.

You've heard it?

I was worried that you'd be upset.

So I didn't dare to mention

nor ask you anything.

It's alright.

With the mess Tang Yaofeng made,

it actually took my mind

off the sorrow of my company's bankruptcy.

Is the credit due to him

or someone else?

Nana,

I wanna talk to you.

I also have something to ask you.

Is that sum of 500,000 yuan

you gave to Fang Hua borrowed from your father?

Why do you ask it all of a sudden?

Just be honest!

I just wanted to make up for my mistake.

Are you a fool?

In that case, your father will

have an excuse to control you!

I've told you many times.

Do not be so soft-hearted!

You didn't make any mistake.

You were also a victim.

Can't you just sometimes hold back

your righteousness and warm heart?

Fang Hua?

Hello? Fang Hua.

Okay, good to know!

What's up?

Any good news about Mr. Wan?

See?

You also have a soft heart!

You also care about him!

I don't care whether you tell me or not.

Mr. Wan is awake!

He wants to meet us tomorrow!

That's great!

You can finally be relieved

and have a good sleep tonight.

Lin Wo.

As to Gao Shan,

although you have an upper hand for now,

I won't back off.

You should figure out

what you really want.

Outpatient Building

Where did you go last night?

It's a long story.

You two are good now?

We are best friends forever!

It's impossible to get us estranged

because of a man.

It's nice!

You've thought it through?

I certainly have.

Make way.

Let bygones be bygones.

We should live in the moment.

Gao Shan,

I'll show you that you are wrong.

And I won't back off.

Wan is ready for you guys.

Mr. Wan.

You are all here.

I've heard

what happened recently.

Mr. Wan, sorry!

It's my fault.

Don't blame yourself.

It's not your fault.

I'm very thankful

that you helped me so much.

Mr. Wan,

when you recover and can be out of the hospital,

you can yell at me again.

I'm afraid I don't have a chance to do that anymore.

As things have become a mess,

I don't think I can go back to Most Sky again.

Mr. Wan.

When you

have a close call,

you'll understand what life really means.

Don't worry.

I'm not even afraid of death,

I of course have the courage

to keep going on my life.

I've thought it through.

After I recover,

I'll find a job in my hometown.

Actually, many companies

have contacted me before.

But back then, I didn't wanna give up.

I thought

I was devoted to Most Sky for years.

At least...

At least I'd get some payback

if I stayed here.

But after going through illness,

I finally woke up

from my dream.

Nothing is more important

than family in life.

By the way,

thank you guys for

keeping my wife and my daughter company

these days.

Thanks!

Mr. Wan,

you should thank yourself.

Look, you survived this mishap.

So Duoduo won't be gossiped,

bullied, or hurt for no reason

in the future.

When she gets lost or upset,

she'll have her dad to encourage her,

and she can enjoy

a happy and complete childhood.

Fang Hua,

if you need my help in the future,

just feel free to ask.

Thank you, Wu Dongna!

Gao Shan,

can we have a talk in private?

Will Mr. Wan hit Gao Shan?

After all, it's Gao Shan

who made a mistake first.

Are you really going to pursue Gao Shan?

It's none of your business!

Wu Dongna,

can we go to the yard

to see the goldfish?

Of course!

I was looking for a quiet place!

That's right, go to see the goldfish.

-The yard is quiet. -Let's go.

I'll go with you!

I know I have no right

to apologize to you.

It's my fault that

you end up like this.

Gao Shan,

when I first met you,

I could tell that

Most Sky wasn't your destination.

You still have other plans.

But no matter what they are,

I have to warn you.

Sun Li may not be a good leader,

but he's definitely a dangerous rival.

You are stubborn and single-minded.

Frankly speaking,

I don't want you to become another me.

I won't let myself end up like this.

I'll never run away from the reality,

and of course,

I don't have a way back either.

Then I wish you good luck!

Thank you!

But remember.

Sometimes, you may

see or hear something,

but it doesn't mean it's true.

You need to learn

how to choose.

Got it?

When I recover,

let's go boxing again.

Bed 13, Ward 5

Do Not Disturb

What did Mr. Wan say to you?

He said

he'd go boxing with me again in the future.

Gao Shan, I'm sorry!

I told Mr. Wan about that thing.

I couldn't keep it from him.

Lin Wo.

Thank you!

Thanks!

Mr. Luo,

please let me explain.

I...

I know.

It's not entirely your fault

that it ended up like this.

But given the current situation,

I really don't know

how to explain to the shareholders.

We'll have to put off

your promotion as a partner.

But you promised me!

The issue of Wan Jiahe is a warning.

Don't push yourself into a corner.

Most Sky is in the spotlight right now.

If you push things too hard,

you'll end up in trouble.

I...

Mr. Sun,

I've done the investigation

at your request.

Did you find anything?

Gao Shan didn't do anything

to Wan Jiahe's case.

But he did

hide one thing from you.

Wan Jiahe had to have an operation.

Gao Shan transferred him 200,000 Yuan.

So he did keep a secret from me.

What are you gonna do?

I can't stand a subordinate

who lied to me.

You wanna kick him out of Most Sky?

No.

I have a more interesting suggestion.

Have you guys received the E-mail?

Yes.

Well...

You are all here!

Then I'll cut to the chase.

I believe you've all received the e-mail.

From today on,

Team A and Team B will be merged into one team

with Mr. Sun as the leader.

We've worked together for quite long.

I'll skip the speech here.

Tonight, at The Cupola,

I will treat you all to dinner.

Please do come.

Now, go back to work.

I'll see you later at dinner.

Dream on!

I won't go!

Same here!

Whoever goes will be a traitor!

Gao Shan,

bring your stuff and come with me.

This is not the way to Mr. Sun's office.

I'll take you to your new office.

I know you had a deal with Mr. Sun.

But shareholders are quite upset

about Wan Jiahe's incident.

The company needs someone

to take the blame.

If you can help Mr. Sun

to go through this trouble,

he will be very grateful to you.

When things calm down,

he will keep his promise

and put you in the core project team.

What's my punishment?

Follow me.

Document Printing Room

Come on.

Document Printing Room

Document Printing Room?

That's right.

It's the most essential

and the most important division.

From now on,

you'll work in this division.

Does it mean

that I can never go back again?

Why do you think so?

You helped Mr. Sun to get rid of Wan Jiahe.

Mr. Sun will always remember

that you did a big favor for him.

Just take this time to sort out your files

and print some documents.

It'll end before you know it.

Anything else?

No.

As one who once studied overseas,

you are indeed quite different.

I admire you for your adaptability.

Hope I'll have your support in the future.

I'll get going.

Make copies or print documents?

Neither, Liu.

Tracy!

Call me Tracy!

I brought you a good helper!

A top student on Wall Street.

Wow! Do not disturb me when I watch TV.

She is a nice person,

just a little quick-tempered.

I've heard that she's Mr. Luo's

distant relative.

So,

you should take orders from her

in the future.

No worries.

If you have nothing else, I'll go back to work.

I still need to accompany Mr. Sun

to meet a client.

Good luck!

Living without an aim is like sailing without a compass.

You play a slut again!

I'll go online and bash you right now!

I'm Gao Shan. Nice to meet you!

I'm so pissed!

Excuse me, where should I sit?

Wherever you want.

That's a spot with good luck.

If you kill them,

I won't forgive you!

Liu...

Tracy!

Please make 100 copies for me.

It's urgent.

Let him do it.

Are you new here?

You look familiar.

I think I met you before

at Investment Division.

Here you go.

Owners' Manual

Liu.

Tracy!

How to use the machine?

There's a pamphlet

named Owners' Manual.

Can't you read it yourself,

top student on Wall Street?

Wait a moment.

Team B

is way over the line.

It's already late!

They probably think that Wan Jiahe

is still here to protect them.

Be patient.

We arrived early.

How is it going with Gao Shan?

He's settled in the printing room,

learning how to use the printing machine.

He didn't complain?

Not at all.

How strange!

Do you suspect him?

With his capability,

how is it possible

that he'd rather stay in Document Printing Room

than change another job?

It doesn't make any sense.

I've been thinking

why he worked so hard

to get into Most Sky.

In theory, he should aim at a higher position.

After all, Most Sky

is the leading company in the industry.

But not the only one.

If his goal is to get promoted,

the position of Investment VP

is surely not enough for him.

Keep an eye on him.

Don't give him any break.

When he's overwhelmed by stress,

the answer may emerge itself.

Got it.

Here they are.

There you are!

Mr. Sun.

Here, come in!

Take a seat.

Mr. Sun.

Su Yuan and Gu Xiaobing haven't come here yet.

Su Yuan told me

he had a family get-together.

Where's Gu Xiaobing?

Gu Xiaobing isn't feeling well.

That's right. He's in so much pain.

Really?

What's wrong with him?

-Headache! -Stomachache!

Mr. Sun.

What am I talking?

I understand.

You all once worked for Mr. Wan,

so you may not trust me fully.

I do get it.

Mr. Sun.

It's not like that.

You see,

we all work for Most Sky.

We are a family.

Right, Kevin?

That's right!

Excuse me! Can I serve you your order now?

Sure.

It's not easy to find a job nowadays.

Nothing is more

important than making a living.

Don't you think?

-Yes! -Exactly!

That's right!

Dalong Group

Why did you withdraw the money?

Why did you have to

push me into a corner?

Gao,

did I push you?

You are the one who got greedy!

You know?

You took more than you could deal with!

If I didn't withdraw the money,

you'd take me down with you!

It's not what you told me before!

You asked me to purchase away

the entire sales production chain.

You said only by network expansion

could Qingrun go public successfully!

I did exactly what you asked!

But the money was earned

through hard work of my employees.

How are they supposed to live now?

How am I supposed to live?

Gao, please don't complain to me

about that!

I know we are friends.

But business is business.

I can't help you!

You are a liar!

You want to force me to die!

Did I lie to you?

Did I force you?

It's your business!

And you made the investment yourself!

Investment involves risk. Don't you know that?

Don't talk to me until you calm down!

Qin!

Qin!

Please help me!

Help me one last time!

You are such a liar!

Dad!

Dad!

Dad! Please come down!

No matter what happened,

let's get through it together!

Son,

I'm sorry!

Dad!

I can't take care of you and your mom anymore!

Dad!

Dad!

Sun Li thought that

he could take me down

by sending me to Document Printing Room.

He's wrong.

Such small humiliation is nothing

compared to the darkness

I've experienced before.

The misery

will only urge me more

to go further and further!

Qin Shengsheng,

I will watch you collapse

and fall into the abyss

without any hope!

Fangda Human Resource

Fangda Human Resource

It's done.

Let's go.

Take it.

No.

If you see me as your friend,

take it.

Look at you!

Will you man up?

Sorry that I made you end up like this!

Stop it!

I've heard enough of it!

What matters the most in life

is that you need to go with the flow

and learn to deal with failure.

I will

go back and recharge myself.

And I will

come back again!

I'll ask you to work with me by then,

okay?

Really?

You don't believe me?

I do.

You always keep your word!

I admire you the most!

Take it!

Are you

really going to work in Dalong?

I've made a promise

and I'll do it.

But I've heard

that Zheng Wanying

is known as a bossy woman

in the industry.

She's quite frightening.

You are also a bossy woman!

You are frightening, too!

Zheng Wanying.

You can't defeat me!

Good luck!

Let's go.

I'll start working here today.

Knock the door before you come in.

It's the most basic etiquette.

Happy now?

Please come in.

Listen carefully.

I'll only say once

what I'm about to say.

From now on,

you'll be my personal assistant.

Our working time

starts at 9 am and ends at 5 pm.

But as my personal assistant,

you don't have a fixed working time.

When I'm off, you are off.

When I'm at work, you must be here too.

You'll do whatever I ask you to do.

I've received the e-mail yesterday.

It clearly stated my job duties.

Ms. Zheng, you don't have to repeat.

My work for the time being

is to assist you

with the IPO of Dalong

and communicating with the agents.

Am I right?

I received a schedule of yours.

Based on your schedule in Guangzhou,

I made a meeting agenda for you.

Please take a look.

Meeting Agenda

What I need is an assistant,

not a boss!

Let me say it again.

Your one and only job

is to follow my order!

Got it.

Good!

Bring the computer and go downstairs with me.

Where are we going?

There's one more rule.

Don't ask me questions

that I don't wanna answer.

This is your work today.

I need you

to design the cover of the folders,

and make the theme page

and the divider page.

All the hard copies

and signature pages

need to be printed page numbers.

You have to print them out one by one manually.

You've got to remember,

all the hard copies

of the application files and signature pages

need to be scanned.

And then enhance the scanned version.

Remember,

all scanned files

shall be saved in an electronic folder,

which is very important.

You cannot make any mistake,

not even a wrong page number!

As for the files upstairs,

you need to confirm first

before printing them out.

And then punch them, put them in folders,

and make a CD.

Got it?

We have to

finish these all by ourselves?

No!

Not we!

Only you!

I still

have a lot of things to do.

I'll be out of the office this afternoon.

So,

you need to take care of it all by yourself.

Young people should work more

and complain less.

Bye!

Dalong?

Why are we here?

Something urgent came up.

I have a meeting with Mr. Sun,

the head of Investment Division of Most Sky.

You know that Most Sky

is the agency

for Dalong's IPO, right?

Yes.

What?

You don't wanna go?

Because of Wan Jiahe's incident,

you feel uncomfortable

to show up there?

What a coward you are!

No need to push me!

I've done nothing wrong.

So what are you afraid of? Let's go.

Fine. If I bump into

Gao Shan and the others,

I'll think of a way to explain.

Who said I was afraid?

Aren't you moved?

Are you here to print stuff?

I'm here to see you.

I really don't wanna

stay in the office

and look at that hypocrite Sun Li.

I have some news to tell you.

Not interested.

Gu Xiaobing is fired.

Last night,

Sun Li took the two teams

to a dinner,

which turned out to be a trap!

All members of Team B were there

except me and Gu Xiaobing.

And this morning,

his entrance pass didn't work anymore.

So how come you are fine?

I have my father to back me up.

But those in Team B are such traitors!

We've made a deal to stick together.

How could they betray us like that?

They don't wanna lose their jobs.

Gao Shan...

Forget it. Nothing.

Is there anything you dare not say?

How is it going with you and Lin Wo?

Listen to me.

When you go after a girl, you have to...

Wu Dongna and I will never be together.

Piss off if you aren't here to help me.

Come on! I...

I'm not talking about Nana.

I just

worried about the happiness of your life.

As my best buddy,

you can never take advantage of my girl.

Go make copies!

Is she...

She's Lin Wo,

Mr. Qin's daughter,

as well as my assistant.

I know something unhappy happened

between your company and her.

But for Chairman Qin's sake,

I hope you can

forgive her, Mr. Sun!

Never mind!

Please have a seat.

Thanks to Miss Lin,

Most Sky could fix the problem in time

and save our reputation.

Therefore,

we should actually thank Miss Lin.

I'm glad you said so.

Ms. Zheng, you asked for a meeting on such short notice.

Is it because Dalong has

a new strategy

and you need to discuss with us?

Yes and no.

What do you mean?

We've heard that

Yijia Department Store is going to sell its business.

Yijia Department Store?

Dalong, Yijia and Huomei

are the three giants in the retail industry

in southern China,

as well as the most successful retail companies.

But in recent years,

Yijia has been losing profits

and faltering.

Selling its business is only a matter of time.

But this

will directly affect the future

of Dalong and Huomei.

Ms. Zheng, you mean

whoever gets the deal

will become the leader of the industry.

And the other can only take the second place.

It's not a matter of ranking.

It's a matter of life and death.

If Huomei gets the deal,

then its business value

will way surpass Dalong's.

It'll make it so much harder

for Dalong to go public.

I think

this is a problem that

both Dalong and Most Sky don't wanna face.

What do you want us to do?

We are not quite sure yet

if Yijia is really going

to sell its business.

I hope you can

send a few trustworthy people to Yijia

and find out their real intention.

I will organize a meeting right now

and get back to you tomorrow.

Thank you!

Then I'll wait for your news, Mr. Sun.

Lin Wo,

you'll represent Dalong

to attend all the meetings.

The meeting materials

will be sent to your mailbox.

No problem!

Mr. Sun,

where's Document Printing Room?

I'll take you there.

It's okay. Don't bother.

You still have a meeting to go.

I think I can find it myself.

Mr. Sun,

I'll wait for your news then!

Alright.

What?

Okay! I see!

I'm on my way!

So weird!

Why would they ask me to do it?

What is it?

Sun Li just called,

asking me to join an urgent meeting

with Dalong.

Dalong Group invests in Qingrun

What's wrong with you?

What's the matter?

A meeting with whom?

Dalong.

It's a retail company in Zhuhai.

Most Sky is in charge of its IPO.

So it's quite important to us.

And they are going to set up

a special team.

So mysterious.

I don't know the details.

But why do they ask me to join it?

Hey, what's the matter with you?

You don't feel well? Don't scare me!

I'm fine.

Really?

Do you need any help?

I can go with you.

Help with what?

Don't worry.

I don't think I'll get involved.

I'll get going now.

Otherwise, Sun Li will give me a hard time again.

Gao Shan?

Lin Wo?

What are you doing here?

Fangda has been sold.

So I found a part-time job.

I came here with my boss for business.

You are transferred to Document Printing Room?

Sun Li did this?

There's an emergency.

I'll talk to you later.

But I need to print the meeting materials!

Living without an aim is like sailing without a compass.

Nobody's here.

How should I use the machine?

Living without an aim is like sailing without a compass.

What do you wanna print?

Yijia's sales data charts.

Dalong is interested in Yijia

and wants to purchase it.

So, Su Yuan was talking about

a special team on Yijia's acquisition?

You've also heard of it?

So you are

working part-time for Dalong?

How did you find a job in Dalong?

It's a long story.

Anyway,

I'm Zheng Wanying's assistant

and assisting her with Dalong's IPO.

Zheng Wanying is Dalong's...

Dalong's General Manager,

the right hand

of Chairman Qin Shengsheng.

Dalong's IPO is one of

the most important cases of Most Sky.

Many employees here know about this.

Where are the materials?

In my mailbox.

I thought you had an emergency.

Lin Wo.

Would you please do me a favor?

Mr. Sun.

Sit down.

Where's Su Yuan?

He was just here.

He said he had a stomachache and went to the restroom.

Such a slowpoke!

Let's start now.

Brief him about the meeting later.

Okay.

Mr. Sun,

the materials are ready.

Shall I distribute now?

Please!

Here.

Have a seat, Miss Lin.

Let me introduce.

This is Miss Lin, the assistant to Ms. Zheng of Dalong.

She will be in charge of

the Yijia case

and talk with you guys.

We are missing one person still, right?

Su Yuan.

He had a stomachache

and went to the restroom.

But according to

Ms. Zheng's requirements,

we need at least

two teams to make plans

and choose the best one.

Shall we wait for him?

Miss Lin, don't worry.

I will ask them to give him

the meeting materials and brief him on the meeting.

In that case,

I'll give the materials to Su Yuan myself.

Okay. Let's get started.

Alright.

Today's meeting

is about an urgent situation.

The well-known retail company

Yijia Department Store may be intended to sell its business,

which will seriously affect

Dalong's IPO and its future development.

Therefore,

our Most Sky will

set up a special team to deal with the acquisition.

You are all my most trustworthy people.

I need you

to work out an acquisition plan

by tomorrow morning

so that the company can decide

who will be qualified to take charge of this case.

You've all got the materials.

Send the plan to my mailbox

first thing tomorrow morning.

Miss Lin,

do you have anything else to say?

No.

In that case, the meeting will be dismissed.

Okay.

I'll see you guys next time.

Mr. Sun.

Is this Lin Wo the headhunter

who tried to poach Wan Jiahe?

How did she enter Dalong

and become Zheng Wanying's assistant?

Don't ask.

And don't mess with her.

Why?

Her father is Mr. Qin.

What do you think?
