Eternal Love Rain

Episode 7

Move!

Are you okay?

The cart stopped?

Was Ning Xiu Rui here?

Wait for me!

Finally.

Tell Master Mo...

I am willing to do anything.

Please don't hurt my grandma.

Mo family is involved?

Ning Xiu Rui! Ning Xiu Rui, where are you?

Buddha's Grace Illuminates All

Monster! Run for your life!

So you really are a dragon.

Ning Residence

Thrive To Success

You are safe here.

Go inside and take a rest.

Stay there and don't go anywhere.

Sure.

What about you, Lord Dragon?

Don't simply call me that.

Also,

don't tell anyone what happened today.

-Otherwise... -Otherwise, I will be doomed, right?

I got it.

Now, both of us share a little secret.

All right.

I have something to do. I have to go.

Lord Dragon.

No, I mean Lord Ning.

Since you are a dragon,

do you know the whereabouts of the Black Dragon?

Su Yin Yin.

More nonsense,

and you will be chased out of Ning Residence.

I dare you.

I share your secret now.

Furthermore,

the Inverted Dragon's Scale is with me.

Will it let you chase me out?

Be quiet.

You think that was an accident?

Are you looking for trouble?

You are right.

Since the Inverted Dragon's Scale has been stimulated and appeared,

are you going to take it out and go home?

Yes.

But I won't just walk away

before your father's case ends.

That's not what I meant.

Keep what you mean to yourself.

Ning Xiu Rui.

Being a dragon doesn't mean you're great.

No way.

Before he leaves,

I must get back at him

for what he's done to me.

After all, I possess the Inverted Dragon's Scale.

Ning Mo.

Do you think it's right that I have persisted

all these years?

I've been your servant since young.

As long as the instruction comes from Your Highness,

I'd do anything

to accomplish it.

Ning Mo.

The Scale is sending out abnormal signal.

Go investigate.

Something must have happened Xiu Rui.

Yes, Your Highness.

Mr Ning, what is wrong?

I've never seen you

so preoccupied before.

Is it due to the assassination at Ghost Market yesterday?

So you know about the incident.

Su Bin Quan's case is full of doubts.

I want to take part in the case.

Why are you behaving such way, Mr Ning?

I think you are being strange lately.

What's strange about me?

Mr Ning.

I heard from Liu Bao

that Su Bin Quan's daughter

is still staying at your residence.

You...

You spied on me?

No, I dare not do so.

I sent Liu Bao to find out

if the Crown Prince is behaving.

And he told me about that too.

This servant of mine has a loose tongue.

I promoted Su Bin Quan in the past.

I can't bear to see his daughter homeless.

That's why I let her stay for a few days.

In that case,

this is the first time I see you mingle with a lady.

That's because she may have the Scale.

I just want to go back to the sea sooner.

It seems that you won't turn down

the kindness offered by the lady.

Aren't you know me well.

You watched me grow up, right?

You talk too much today.

It seems that your mind's not on the politics.

Since you are interested in this case,

I shall instruct them to hand it over to you.

I will handle the case impartially.

I talked too much.

Ning Residence

Be patient, everyone.

Lord Ning will be back soon,

and he will pay all of you.

Please be patient.

He will be back soon.

Lord Ning is back!

Lord Ning.

Finally, you are back.

Look at this.

Look at this.

Lord Ning, please take a look.

What is going on?

I am redecorating Ning Residence.

What do you think of the new vibe?

Who gave you permission?

I did.

The precious Scale owner of yours.

Don't get it wrong.

The Scale belongs to me.

Ning Xiu Rui, don't scare it.

I heard that things from the sea

is spiritual.

You saved it before.

If it feels threatened,

it will attack you.

Su Yin Yin.

You are insatiable.

Ning Xiu Rui!

Don't just leave without saying anything!

Don't go.

-Lord Ning! -Lord Ning!

Don't go, Lord Ning!

The Grand Secretariat won't break his promise!

He will pay you within three days!

Please wait a little longer, okay?

Why do we have to wait?

-No more waiting! -That's right.

Calmness Before All

I bought a custom-made jade Scale.

You're still here?

Ning Xiu Rui.

I am not as petty as you.

You were so fierce to me,

but I have forgiven you.

I won't be mad at you.

Humans...

I mean, a dragon should always be grateful.

Now that I have the Scale,

shouldn't you be nicer to me?

Can we get into business already?

Ning Xiu Rui, what are you looking at?

Don't stare at a lady, okay?

Do you really have to show off with someone else's belonging?

I am not showing off.

The Scale is with you.

Take care of yourself.

Ning Xiu Rui!

I haven't finished talking.

We haven't had the serious discussion!

The dark fog looks familiar.

Ji Yu Pavilion

Ji Yu Pavilion

Isn't that Su Yin Yin, whose property was confiscated?

Yes, she is.

Why is she drinking late at night?

Yin Yin.

This is unbecoming.

I haven't got married yet.

You don't care about your image,

but I care about mine.

Let's go home.

No, I don't want to go home.

You want to learn self-defence from me, right?

Let's go home and learn, okay?

I don't want to learn self-defence.

If I do,

he won't rescue me again.

He will have more excuses to go home.

The Inverted Dragon's Scale has appeared,

and he plans to leave already.

What nonsense is that?

What Inverted Dragon's Scale?

Don't drink if your tolerance is low.

Goodness.

Wait a minute.

I have always had a lover.

Lin Lin, I swear,

I will always remain loyal to the Black Dragon.

I won't waver

because of Ning Xiu Rui.

You mean, you and Lord Ning...

Lin Lin, slow down!

If he hears me talking about him,

he will show up in a split second.

In a split second?

Yin Yin, I know that...

Ji Yu Pavilion

Your father's case

is devastating to you.

But you need to stay strong, okay?

My father...

I miss my father.

Your Highness.

Even if the seal is broken,

you must not risk going to the land.

I wanted to see if Rui'er is doing well.

You plan to meet up with Prince Xiu Rui?

I wanted to,

but before we meet,

I found out something interesting.

There's this lady with Rui'er.

She looks familiar.

Just like how he treated Jin'er,

Rui'er never leaves her side.

It seems

she has the clue

to the Scale.

Ning Residence

It has been 500 years.

Is Father still mad at me?

Was Xiu Ren here

to bring me home?

Father.

Xiu Ren.

How are you doing?

Ning Xiu Rui...

Has he gone back to the sea?

How could he go back to the sea?

The Inverted Dragon's Scale is with me.

You haven't rescued my father.

You can't go back to the sea yet.

Ning Xiu Rui.

You can't go back to the sea yet.

I will find you.

I won't let you...

This pole is so soft.

Is it because of the Inverted Dragon's Scale?

The Inverted Dragon's Scale is indeed powerful.

I will use it to find Ning Xiu Rui.

Where is the Inverted Dragon Scale?

I want to bring back Ning Xiu Rui.

Why are you making noises?

Why is it so noisy? Are you not going to sleep?

Reminiscence Under The Moon

Thrive To Success

Master.

What has the devil done to you?

Black Dragon, I think I have changed my mind.

I am sorry, I can't wait for you anymore.

Ning Residence

This is Ning Residence?

I have confirmed for a few times.

This is Ning Residence.

Mr Ning has kept me company for decades,

I didn't know that he is fond of this style.

Liu Bao.

How many people have you brought along?

A hundred people.

How many times do I have to tell you?

We have to stay low outside. Why did you bring 100 people?

Don't worry, Your Majesty.

Just leave it to me.

Go.

Is Lord Ning here?

Who is that?

You are waking me up early in the morning!

Lord Ning is not around today...

Your Highness.

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

What is going on? Is the assassin here again?

They are too bold!

Do something, thickhead!

This is not just anybody.

No one in the world can do anything to him.

Assassins nowadays have gone too far.

I can't succumb to them!

-Don't go. -Tell them I demand the door to be opened.

I think they will pretend that they can't hear you.

Then you should find a way.

Are you here to see someone?

Lin Lin?

Lin Lin! Help! Someone wants to kill us!

-No, actually they are... -Stop talking!

-Where are the guards? -That's me.

I can take 100 people on my own.

How dare you!

Liu Bao, stay low!

I don't care who you are.

How dare you try to barge in a residence under broad day light?

It is unforgivable.

Too bad you bumped into me.

You...

Are you not scared anymore?

That is just a misunderstanding.

A misunderstanding.

Lin Lin, are you okay?

Are you injured?

Let me see.

Why are you here?

I brought you this.

Hangover cure from the frontier.

Listen, Li Qi,

you're coming back with me today.

Who are you to take him away?

He is...

He is someone close with me.

We are really close.

It must be a misunderstanding. A great misunderstanding.

A misunderstanding?

Lin Lin, it is just a misunderstanding.

I am sorry.

Let's go inside.

Both of them are so strange.

Let's go.

Brother, you got defeated by that lady?

Don't you always claim that you are good in both civil and military skills?

Are they cousins from the Su and Tang families?

Yes.

Li Ji, you are being wilful.

You left the palace without my permission.

Are you aware of the consequences?

Brother.

I live like a toad at the bottom of a well in the palace.

Though I am a crown prince,

I barely know how the real world works.

See?

Isn't this negligence of duty?

I...

I think you are just being playful.

Brother!

The palace is just like a huge jail.

There's always rules to follow when we act and talk.

Each step we take is scary.

That makes me tired.

I wish to live an unrestrained life

where I can help the weak.

Answer my question.

When will you return to the palace?

Don't worry, Brother.

Let me gain some experience.

When it is time for the coronation,

I will go back and take on the responsibility.

So be it for now.

Having no one beside you,

you must be careful.

Brother.

I still have a question.

What is it?

Brother.

Though you don't have any children,

you are still young.

Why are you in a rush to appoint me as the crown prince?

What do you mean?

Nothing.

You are the first legitimate son.

Back then, for the Imperial Court's sake,

Mr Ning told me to take the throne as I'm the eldest.

Now, you have grown up.

You must take on the responsibility.

Got it?

I didn't know that you have such plan.

You know clearly the right thing to do.

However, there goes my freedom.

Do you have a problem somewhere?

-Like, you can't have children? -I can't talk to you any longer.

Since Mr Ning is not home,

I shall get going.

Remember.

Having no one beside you,

you must be careful.

Stay safe.

As you can see,

girls are fierce. They are very fierce.

Beware of them.

And pass a message to Mr Ning.

Tell him I said this.

The previous style fits him better.

Do you still have money?

No.

Liu Bao.

Bring some money to the Crown Prince later.

Yes.

Safe journey.

Brother.

I will have money to spend again!

Supreme Court

Greetings, Grand Secretariat Ning.

I have heard your name.

Finally I have the honour to meet with you.

You are being too humble, Lord Luo.

Zhu Li who was involved in the case has been arrested by Mo Shao Qing.

The documents of the case are ready as well.

Please take a look, Lord Ning.

We have found the most important witness in the case.

Let's start the trial.

Okay.

Zhu Li.

On the day the precious drawing went missing,

you were the one who guarded the Green Dragon Returning To The Sea, right?

Yes, it was me.

When did you find that the drawing

had gone missing?

I only know that on that day,

Lord Su returned all of a sudden,

saying that he wanted to check on

all the items sent by the envoys.

He told me to go back early

and come back again for the next shift.

So, I went back.

Besides Lord Su,

who else touched the drawing?

Besides Lord Su and me,

no one touched it.

Isn't that obvious?

Su Bin Quan misused his power

and took it upon himself to destroy our country's important treasure.

The witness and evidence are here.

Why?

What is there to try, Lord Ning?

This case is full of doubts.

As the person in charge,

this is my duty.

Do you have any objection, Mr Mo?

Me?

Of course I don't have any objection.

However, rumour has it that

Lord Ning and Su Bin Quan's only daughter, Su Yin Yin

are uncommonly close.

When you say that is your duty,

it just doesn't sound convincing.

Didn't you also claim that

you are Su Yin Yin's childhood friend?

Enough.

The trial stops here.

Zhu Li is not in the pink.

Even if we continue the trial,

we won't obtain any important information.

Let Lord Ning go through all the documents

before we continue.

It will be more fair and just.

What do you think?

Sure.

We shall continue the trial tomorrow.

I don't have any objection.

Guards.

Take Zhu Li away.

Yes, sir.

Guard.

Yes, sir.

Find out where Zhu Li's family is,

-and how are they doing. -Yes, My Lord.

Ning Residence

Mr Ning, have some fungus.

Eat more.

Let me do it.

Eat more.

Reminiscence Under The Moon

Lord Ning.

Lord Ning.

What is it?

Lord Ning, the neighbours said

Zhu Li's grandma used to live alone at the suburbs of the Capital.

He sent her money every month

so that the neighbours could buy daily necessities for her.

But no money was sent this month.

His grandma was taken away seven days ago

by people claimed to be entrusted by him

to a better place.

Since those people were well-dressed,

they didn't question them

and let them take his grandma away.

Did anyone see where they go?

Towards the city.

The other information is unsure.

All right, you may leave now.

Yes.

Have you found some clues pertaining to my dad's case?

Just stay at home.

Don't go anywhere.

I will clear your father's name.

Bring me along.

Perhaps I can help you out.

No way you are tagging along.

Mr Ning, don't bring her. Bring me instead.

What can you do if you tag along?

Bring me along.

Sure.

Let's eat first.

-Sure, let's go. -Let's eat.

Where is my master?
