Ep 7

Yeon Ah...Yeon Ah...Yeon Ah!!

Yeon Ah!

Please save my father... please sir! My father!

Father... father...

Have you slept well today. It's going to be a long day.

Are you all ready?

Of course.

Please bring the child now.

But isn't the ceremony going to take place at night?

There is no reason for us to let the child at home till then.

The everlasting medicine?

That is only in the old stories.

But...sir monk. What do you mean by that?

I never heard that it exists in reality.

May peace be with you.

But sir!

Why are you being so bad?

Why?

Now I'm going.

I am going to leave my heart for you, my longing for you all here and leave.

Sir! Did you come here to see Yeon Hee lady without telling me?

Yeon Hee? Did you just say Yeon Hee?

Did you see Yeon Hee?

Oh, you didn't know? She just ran that way.

Little master!

Yeon Hee!

Yeon Hee!

Did we not tell you to bother Yeon Hee!

It's none of your business I say!

What is going on?

He continuously insists on seeing Yeon Hee.

You go back to your room.

Mam!

Go on!

Yes mam.

This looks like something that a gentleman shouldn't do.

I have my own reasons.

Go back.

I can't! I have to tell her something before she leaves.

Leave? What are you talking about?

I will tell her that you were here. Go ahead and go home.

Mam!

Go!

Did you see Yeon Hee?

No...

Yeon Hee! Yeon Hee! Yeon Hee! You were here!

You were here!

Cho Ok has been looking for you. Let's go now.

Yeon Hee...

Yes.

The dried persimmon in the back storage...

Yes.

When I die, you have one and hide the rest where no one can find them.

What?

If Choong sees it, it will disappear in a second.

Little lady... I will protect the dried persimmon so don't worry a thing.

Yeon Hee! Come out here.

Go ahead and sit down.

I brought some persimmon punch.

What?

I was just thankful for you of taking care of Cho Ok so well.

Go ahead and drink it up.

Oh...

What are you doing? Go ahead and drink it up.

I will have it later.

What are you talking about?

Why won't you answer me?

The truth is... I smell something wierd in the drink.

What?

What do you mean it smells!

Then did I give you something that has gone bad?

No, that's not what I meant.

It's okay. It's fine so go ahead and drink it.

It's okay. Now go on. Go on. Good girl.

Yeon Ah! Yeon Ah!

- Ah!! - Oh!

Oh my...

I'm sorry. I will bring something to wipe the floor.

Yeon Hee! Yeon Hee!

Mister!

Please find my mother. My mother went to pray in the Bala mountain last night, but she hasn't come home yet.

It just feels wrong. I beg you.

Where are you going?

Is this because of Lady Gu San?

You shouldn't!

Don't go against the will of the master. People like us live only when we pretend to know nothing even when we know something.

Because of that tongue of yourse I lost my sister and you lost your mother.

Don't interfere in the matters of these people. Listen to me!

Bring in the servants.

Yes mam.

Yeon Hee! It's okay. You don't have to.

No.

We can clean it up later. We should go to Bala mountain now.

Your mother just send us a message and said that she wants us to bring you there.

What?

My mother?

Didn't your mother go there to pray? I want to take you there. Now let's go.

Who gave you the message?

If an adult tells you to go, then you should fallow them. Why do you have so many questions?

No, that's not it. My mother had told me before to just stay at home.

Then am I lying to you now?

No, that's not what I meant.

Uh huh!

The truth is, I heard something.

I heard that you two were going to leave this place.

How did you...

Don't worry. I don't mean to stop you guys.

I am thankful for many things to you, but I also wasn't so comfortable since you two came in.

I am helping you two because it will be best if you just leave before the master comes, so let's go now.

Mother, where are they going now?

I don't know... Oh I guess they are going to see her mother.

But why is the mistress going with her.

Oh... um... that is... I guess she has something to do as well. Let's go in now.

I don't think that's it...

What are you talking about?

They are so bad!

Choong! Choong! You should never say that anywhere else, okay?

But it's true! They are going to eat something good without us! That is why they are not taking the sedan chair!

Those cheap people!

Let's go in.

Mam, why are we going this way? Bala mountain is that way.

Mam, can we rest for a while? I want to go to the bathroom.

mam!

We are not that far now.

Sorry sir, they say that there is only one boat.

You told me that there are boats any time when I came here!

The... the thing is that....

Who is it. Who told you to do this?

Is it the mistress? Did she tell you to do this?

Oh my... forgive me sir! Please forgive me!

Stand up right now!

This won't be solved when I cut your throat.

Go ahead and find a way to go home! Get a boat or build a bridge!

No, that won't do. I will just swim and get home.

Oh sir, why are you donig this!

Let go of me! I have to get home by 4 at any cost!

Sir!

Sir! Sir! Let's go now.

How is Yeon Hee?

She was home when I left the house.

I have to get home by 4. I will give you as you wish so please hurry.

Yes.

Cho Ok... Yeon Hee...

Mam, my leg hurts.

Why are you delaying us!

Girls!

Yes mam.

Little lady, let's go.

Let's hurry.

Mam! Mam!

Won't you stand up already!

Mam, I can't go any longer.

Uh huh! Why are you acting like this! Did I not tell you that we aren't that far now?

We shouldn't go.

Why are you acting like this? What is your reason!

The reason... I can't tell, but if we go any further...

We don't know what will happen!

Girls, make her stand up.

Yes mam.

Mam! Mam!

Don't say anything and just fallow me.

We should go back! If you don't! Something that you will regret will happen!

Can't you just fallow me!

What could happen?

Ah! Mam!

Where did Yeon Hee go?

Yeon Hee!

What are you doing! Go ahead and find her!

Yes mam.

She couldn't have gone far. Go ahead and catch her! Go!

Did the mistress alone take you out?

No. Sam Wol and... Yu Wol...

Was there someone else? Was there someone behind them?

Sit down.

Did you see Mr. Yoon?

No, he wasn't there.

Think carefully.

He had went to the temple to get a medicine.

Then, did Mr. Yoon do nothing?

Yes.

Go home.

What?

I told you to go home,

Sir, can I just stay here until my mother comes back?

Just until my mother comes back

Under what cause can I take you here?

You don't even have a concrete evidence to prove that someone is trying to hurt you.

No, I am sure that the mistress is trying to hurt me.

I told you to go now!

Sir...

What did you do with Yeon Hee?

I do not know.

I do not know what I will do now, so answer me.

Just go ahead and kill me.

You deceived me and now you are trying to put blood over my hand?

You think I deceived you with fear of death?

If you act like this, then I just can't forgive you.

I can't live with a wife who deceived her husband.

Then what about you?

Are you really going to betray our daughter Cho Ok?

What?

Do you really want to see your own daughter die while saving another person's daughter?

I am trying to save them both! How can you not understand that?

If we want to save Cho Ok, then Yeon Hee should die! Who's parent are you?

Wife...

If you were going to be so weak, then you shouldn't have taken those two in!

I will accept it even if you throw me out.

But...

that is after I have saved my Cho Ok.

Mam!

mam!

The little lady... she disappeared.

Cho Ok!

Cho Ok! Cho Ok!

Cho Ok! I'm your father. Why are you doing this? Let's go home now.

Let's go. Please come to your senses! Let's go.

Let go of her!

Cho Ok! You can't.

Father...

Hey!

Why are you trying to go against the will of the heaven?

Sir...

I will take Cho Ok with me.

Sir! You can't do that. Not my Cho Ok. Never!

Cho Ok! Come here. Come to your father.

Why are you doing this now? You abandoned me.

What... what do you mean by that.

When did I abadon you?

When you burnt the shroud that Yeon Hee mad...

hadn't you already given up on me?

That... that is...

She is right.

This all happened because of you!

No... that is not true.

That is true. You want to save Yeon Hee instead of me.

No... baby that isn't true.

You bastard... how could you not change even a bit?

Let's go.

Sir! Don't do this. Instead, take me.

Please, just take me.

No, no. Take me. I am unlike him! I can die for my Cho Ok! Just take me!

I want to, but it isn't your time yet.

Let's go.

Then what is it?

Then...

what would satisfy you?

Then... whould Yeon Hee suffice?

If you take Yeon Hee...

would that suffice you?

Sir.

Go ahead with Cho Ok.

I will go and look for Yeon Hee.

Do as you wish.

Cho Ok, I'm sorry.

You father is sorry...

Ah... father... ah

Mother...

Mother.. I once again lost the bell. Is that why you are not coming back to me?

What are you doing there?

Did you just climb the fence?

Why did you not use the normal door way...

Please lower your voice.

I will get in big trouble if the mistress knew I was here.

What is going on?

Sir.

What is it?

I have something to tell you.

Please don't tell this to the mistress.

Sir...

Sir

It's okay. I am here so no need to be afraid.

Now. Come out.

Did something happen?

Yeon ah...

Please save me sir.

Go ahead and tell me what happened.

Sir, the mistress is acting odd. She called me to look for my mother

and so I fallowed her

but she took me to the wrong place.

You must have been really surprised.

But sir...

You need to go to the mistress.

What are you talking about?

I think she was hurt because of me.

I'm sorry sir.

It's okay.

I will call someone, so don't worry too much.

Don't think its all too odd. I think she lost lost her mind since she was too busy taking care of Cho Ok.

I will apologize for her.

Sir, please find my mother.

She told me that she will be back soon, but she still hasn't come home.

Something didn't happen to her, right?

Don't worry too much. I will make my servants to look for your mother as well.

Then, I am okay now, right? You will save me.

Sir!

Did you draw me?

I know it's really nothing, but I wanted to give this to you.

Thank you. I will take a good care of it.

Stay here for a moment.

Here. I thought you would be hungry so I brought this.

here. Have some.

Go ahead.

What is wrong?

Yeon Hee. I remember when you first came to our house. I also gave you this then.

I felt so sorry for you then since you were so scared. I still remember so clearly.

I brought it thinking that you would like it. Are you not hungry?

That's not it..

Then go ahead and have a bite.

Mother... I think he is also trying to abandon me.

Go ahead.

I feel thirsty after running all day. I will have this after I have some water.

Where are you going?

Ask the carriage people to go to Sun Dae valley.

Yes.

Is that so? He has finally made his move?

Mam mam! Isn't this Yeon Hee's?

Mam! Mam!

Master told you to come home right now.

He said that he has Yeon Hee with her. He will now take her to the valley.

Let's go now.

Mam! What should I do with this?

Throw it away.

What had happened while I was gone?

Yeon ah!

Yeon ah!

What is this

Oh this is... um..

What brought you here?

I am here to see Yeon Hee.

Why are you looking for her?

Is she home now?

I just asked you why you were looking for her.

The truth is, I heard some odd rumor.

Odd rumor? What are you talking about.

Looking at how your face color had just changed, I guess you also heard of it too.

You think I am that free to have a chit chat with you?

I apologize.

The thing is, I heard that she is still seeing my Jung Gyu every night.

Is that why you are here?

It would be bad if something like last time happened.

That won't happen so go back.

Okay.

Oh, but where are you headed?

My daughter is sick now. So I am going to have a speritual ceremony for her sake.

Oh, I didn't know that you were in such a hurry. Sorry to have bothered you.

I guess he was in a hurry. How could he try to hide a big kid with just a straw doll.

Yeon Ah!

Where is my child!

I do not know.

You... who are you pointing your knife at! Won't you let that go!

Yeon Hee was for sure around the lake. She couldn't have gone there alone since I told her to stay home.

It's you. Tell me. Where did you take my daughter!

Mam, mam! As you told...

Oh, Lady Gu Sang... why are you doing this! Calm down!

You know it. Tell me. Tell me before I kill you!

Oh, just tell her! You will die if you don't!

You just stay still.

- Lady Gu Sang! I will tell you. - Hey!

Yeon Hee is...

What are you trying to say!

Yeon Hee is..

She went to the Bala mountain.

It is true. You went there to pray right? She told me. So she went there to look for you.

What a way to lie.

I guess you guys will tell me the truth only when you see real blood!

The master went with her.

What?

Yes. The master took her with him. To look for you.

Stop lying. The master went to get Cho Ok's medicine!

So the thing is... that... um...

He couldn't get the medicine.

Do you know what you are doing right now?

Our family is in a panic since we couldn't get the medicine.

But... the master went with Yeon Hee since she had been looking for you so bad.

It really isn't you who should be mad!

If something happens to my child

I won't let your daughter live.

If Yeon Hee comes back, I won't let you live.

Mam, are you okay? Oh my, blood!

Blood!

Mam, you are bleeding.

Oh that... oh mam.

Mam, how could this happen?

Oh my.

Well, what could she not do when her daughter is about to die.

Lower your voice.

What if someone hears you!

Oh... all I'm saying is that.. maybe she knew that Yeon Hee was about to die and...

Again!

Did you take care of it?

Don't worry. I put a lot of people around the Sun Dae valley.

Lady Gu San knows that Yeon Hee went to Bala mountain.

So those two will never be able to meet each other.

That's not right!

That is not the right way! Come back!

Yeon Hee is in Sun Dae valley!

Welcome.

Sir! Mr. Yoon had knife in his hand and there also was a girl.

Go ahead and catch them!

Did you not see my child?

Yeon ah!

Please save me sir!

Are you telling me to stab her myself?

You are the only one who can save Cho Ok.

Yeon Ah!!!
