Episode 5

Sam Wol, Sam Wol!!

Yes, mom

Did you see Oh?

He went out with Yeon Hee

Oh mam!! Mam!!

What is this? What is this?

You know better than I do! It's what Man Shin sent you

Are you that worried?

Then I will soon send you a charm to you.

You need to say that it's not you. What are you doing? Go and get her!

Yeon Hee!!

Yeon ah...

Let go of me!

Calm down. I didn't know!

How... how could you do this?

Look, don't misunderstand us. That picture just came in from somewhere.

I was very surprised...

Where is my Yeon Hee! Where did you hide her, tell me!

How surprised you are, there are somethings to say and not to say.

Not only you try to be harsh on that young kid, and now you make a charm to kill her?

Wait and see. If something happens to Yeon Hee, I will do the same to you.

Where is Yeon Hee

She went out to go to the art store

Sir

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

I'll be back.

She can't go far. Look for her!

Yes

Oh my, who, who are you there?

There!! Go after her!

Catch her!!

Who are you? Why are you doing this to me?

Take her!

Come!!

Did you see a nine year old girl?

Yes, she got some brushes and went out

Which way did she go?

How would I know?

- Stay still!! - Save me!! Ahh!! Sir!! Why are you doing this to me?

Throw her

One two three!!

Yeon ah!! Yeon ah!! Yeon ah!!

Yeon ah!! Oh!!

Where did you get this!!

It was just on the ground!!

Why are you doing this? You think lady Gu San will ever be your woman?

Don't try. However you try, Yeon Hee is now same as dead. So come to your senses and get up!

Cheon Woo!! Cheon Woo!!

Cheon Woo!! Cheon Woo!! Cheon Woo!!

Mam!!

I did as you told me

Now, go back and get Yeon Hee!!

What?

She still must be alive. If she is dead, at least get her body. Go!!

Cheon Woo...

Good work. Here

Here

What? Why do we only get one?

You said that you would give us two pennies!

How hard could it be to catch a child?

What??

Okay okay, here.

Did she get out? There she is!! There!!

Stop there!! Stop!!!

Stop there!! Stop!!!

Catch her!!

Catch her!!

Here she is. Let's go.

Break the door!

Yeon ah!! Yeon ah!!

Yeon ah!! Where are you? Yeon ah!!

Yeon ah!!

Thank you. Thank you.

I know your mother very well.

What? Oh is that why you saved my life?

Lead the way. Take me to your mother.

Stand up!!

Stand up I said.

Sir, I want to go...

I want to go to the bathroom.

What did you do with the girl? Tell me!!

I really didn't do anything! A guy came and took her that way!! Save me sir..

Did you not see a girl in age of 9?

She went that way

Are you sure?

Let's go!!

What should we do now?

Save me... Save me please!!

Blame your fate...

Sir!!

You, get out of my way!!

This is none of your business. Get out of the way if you don't want to die.

Who are you? Who sent you?

If you really want to die that bad, okay.

Yeon ah!! Master!! Yeon ah!!

- Oh master!! - Oh Yeon ah!!

Oh my baby

Master are you okay?

I'm fine. Take care of Yeon Hee...

But still you come first!

Get on my back

Mam

What happened?

Master and the Gu San family is coming now

Is that so? Good that's good

Put this in the pillow of the girl who will be sacrificed

Master, what happened?

I'm not that hurt. So don't worry

You are hurt! Who did this to him?

We also don't...

Oh, what are you doing? Take him in!

Yes

Yeon ah... Yeon ah!! Yeon ah!!

Yeon Hee! Yeon Hee!! Are you okay? What happened to you?

Oh my are you not sick?

It's okay now. It's okay

Yeon ah, your mother's here. I am here. Yeon ah...

Baby...

Baby.. I am very sorry...

Tell me now. Who did this?

I was just told by the master to take Yeon Hee to the art store!

You! The master was with me the whole time!!

Tell me now! Who told you to kill Yeon Hee!!

Is it the misterss?

No! The master told me so before he left with you!

Did the misterss tell you to do so?

What is going on?

Sir...

What are you doing?

Sir, did you tell him to take Yeon Hee to the art room?

Did you really tell him to do so?

Yes I did... I told him to

Sir, this is all my fault

While I went somewhere for a while, Yeon Hee disappeared

So just punish me...

Where were you with that body?

Is it you?

What?

Is it you who told Oh to get rid of Yeon Hee? How could you do that and not trust me?

You tried to do everything on your own and now you blame me?

Is that such a big deal? Now Yeon Hee is back alive! We should save Cho Ok!!

Sir!!

Man Shin sir!!

Oh sir!!

Why are you so late?

How did you know? The mistress told me to ask you to come with me

This is the last option. Give this to the mistress

Cho Ok... I did everything Man Shin told me... and why won't you get any better?

Mam

Oh, why are you here alone?

He said that this is the last option

Since now the world knows about the plan, Cho Ok's life is like a candle infront of the wind

But there is one way to keep Cho Ok alive before the ceremony

Make the girl of sacrifice to make a shroud with her own hands

Baby, baby baby...

Now throw her!

Yeon ah! Yeon ah! It's okay now

I am here now.

Mother...

Yes, you must have been very scared. It's alright now.

I feel like they are still after me

Don't worry. From now on, I will protect you.

No one will be able to touch you

Why are they doing all that to me?

Is that because I have a disease?

No, it's not like that.

Then is it because I get hairy, with high nose, and fangs?

Yeon ah...

Will everyone be happy once I disappear?

Don't say that. If you disppear, I won't live.

There is no reason for me to live!!

Mother...

You are no monster! You are my child, as precious as gold!

I will tuck you in, get some sleep

How far did you come? I am at the hill

How far did you come? I am at the...

minister

How far did you come? I am at the three ways..

How far did you come? I am at the well...

You...

What is this?

Are you doubting me?

What are you trying to do to my daughter?

How could you say that out of a piece of paper?

Of course, since Yeon Hee almost died...

A piece of paper?

You said that you know nothing!! You said that this came in from somewhere!!

Don't get so mad, and just listen to me

You evil bitch...

Lady Gu San...

I would like to kill you right now, but for the sake of the master who saved my daughter, I won't

But I can't leave my daughter in this house.

Lady Gu San! Gu San!!

Please, please listen to me!

Lady Gu San!!

Let me go!!

It's all my fault. Thinking that Cho Ok had not much to live, I went crazy!

Please forgive me

I don't want to hear no more

I did an awful thing as a mother with a daughter

I know this sounds really bad at this moment, but please do me a favor

I said I don't want to hear any more!!

Mother

Yeon ah, let's get out of this sick house.

What?

Mam...

Mam!!

Can Yeon Hee please make a clothes for Cho Ok? I ask you as a mother like you. Please save Cho Ok...

What do you mean that Cho Ok will live if Yeon Hee makes the clothes?

It's true...

If that is true, I will make thousands or millions of clothes for her myself

But you think I won't know what you are thinking inside?

What are you trying to do to Yeon Hee again?

Let's go Yeon ah...

It is not just a clothes... its what Cho Ok will wear when she dies...

Remember? Cho Ok opened her eyes when Yeon Hee arrived here. So Yeon Hee is the special one that can save Cho Ok!!

Shrouds are clothes that you make in advance to wish for long and healthy life! If Yeon Hee makes the shroud with her own hands

Then Cho Ok can live!!

Now you want my daughter to make a shroud?

Did you ever think of how I would feel as a mother asking you to make a shroud for my daughter in advance?

It's no use talking to me like that.

If you want to go

Stab me and then go

Mam...

You are right

I did something that I shouldn't do. Even if you kill me, I can't blame you

So just kill me already

What are you trying to do now!

If you won't stab me, I will stab myself

I will try to pay for my bad deeds through my death

No!

Yeon ah!!

What are you doing!

Let this go!!

Look, this is all my fault. So blame me if you should

Sir, you were so kind to me and my daughter

But I think it is time for us to leave now

I will do it!

I will do it!!

Yeon ah

They say that Cho Ok will live if I only make a clothes for her. I will do it. Let me do it.

Yeon Hee!

Thank you, thank you Yeon ah... what could I possibly do to this good little girl

I'm so sorry.... I really am....

How far are you going to go? Go and make her stop now!

It must be done

She almost came back from death! How could we ask her to make Cho Ok's clothes!!

But it still must be done

Wife!!!

Okay. If you are going to be that stubborn, then I will go and stop her

I got a letter from Man Shin

What.... what?

Make the girl who will become the sacrifice make a clothes herself

Cho Ok can live only if the girl causes her own death

Father

Yes, yes Cho Ok

I have a favor to ask you

No. You shouldn't do it. How many times do I have to tell you?

Mother

I don't like it how ever Cho Ok's life must be involved

I don't like you taking part in such things!

This isn's about Cho Ok!

It's for the master.

I understand that, but I still don't like it.

He almost lost his life because of me. So I don't want him to be sad

Yeon ah!

You said that human who is ungrateful is worse than an animal.

As you said, I want to be a grateful person!

If we leave this place like this, I will always remember the sad face of the master!

It's no use saying that. I said no, and that means no

Mother...

Yeon Hee!!

Come close...

Th...th...thank you

Lady...

Little lady...

In my dream, the ghost came and tried to take me with him and I was so scared I couldn't even call father

But you... you held on to me

With this hands...

Thank you...

Lady...

Oh my... I guess she really doesn't have much time left looking at her doing things she've never done

You! How could you say that!

Sorry...

Mother... it's okay. I think I know it too.

Master

I'm sorry. Whatever the reason may be, I hurt you and your daughter again

I have no right to see your face as a man...

Sir.. why are you always sorry to me?

You risked your life for Yeon Hee!!

If it wasn't for you... thinking of what might have happened to Yeon Hee...

If that had really happened...

I wouldn't be here as well.

Looking at how sick the little lady is, I get to think of how hurt you are inside

and I was more grateful to you for saving my child

You saved us both

I at least want to show you how grateful I am through this...

Oh no, stand up. Stand up.

I am sorry... I am...

What do you mean sorry. There is nothing for you to be sorry...

Let me go!! Let me go!!

Stand up! Let's go!!

Get out!

Do you recognize him?

How could I know who he is?

I knew you would be like this. Sam Wol

Yes

Bring it in

Yes

Oh mam, please save me, I was just trying to send that fox like lady Gu San out of this house!!

I don't want to say anything more. Just drink it

Oh no! I can't leave my child here and die!

What are you doing? Make her drink it!!

Yes mam

Oh no! No!!! NO!!!

I guess you don't want to die

Since you are this stupid, you will never be bright even after that much medicine for brain.

Oh mam...

You thought I would give you a posion for something?

Then, oh mam...

Listen carefully. I would let you go this time thinking of Chung Il and Chung Ee

Oh mam...

But, don't remember that I am in control of your life now.

I will remember that mam. I will.

I thought I was going to die...

Could you start right away? It is a urgent matter...

Yes, I will start right away

Thank you Yeon Hee. Thanks to you, there is hope for Cho Ok now

I don't know how to thank you

I was worried to hear that you fainted all of a sudden

Thank you

But what happened?

I even heard that you were attacked

I sometimes loose my mind because of the stress

Why, were you wishing for me to be attacked?

I was just worried who it might be that is after your life

I guess I was worrying about nothing looking at how you make jokes out of it

What? You were stabbed?

Oh, not me, the master.

Oh.. I thought... but why are you making the shroud? How is that related to the master being hurt?

Oh, I wanted to pay back for his grace like this at least.

Oh you are kind as you are pretty. That is why the little master always smiles so big when he sees you...

Hey, what are you doing there?

Oh... I was just.. you know the weather was so good... and wanted to talk to Eun Nyun.

Let's go.

Aren't you Yeon Hee's brother?

Stop harassing her! Do you know what she went through?

What are you talking about?

She is a poor child. If you act like this, her life will just become harder

Who are you to tell me what to do?

Do you know what she had to go through because of what happened at the temple?

From now on, I will protect her as her brother. So Stop bothering her.

Are you Yeon Hee?

Wasn't it hard to make this?

What are you doing?

Don't you think it is a bit big for you?

This isn't for me, it's for Cho Ok.

Who said so? Did the master tell you so?

What are you doing?

Sir!

Let's go to my room

I am giving you this since you are a good girl

What are you doing?

Mother!!!

He smells like blood, dead animal, and things. It smells really bad and disgusting.

Cho Ok is dieing! How could you be so lazy!!

No, no Cho Ok. Let's take it off now.

Tell me! Tell me a way to save Cho Ok and Yeon Hee all together!!

Did Jyung Gi see you that way? Since he saw you, I can't just stay still now

I would like to help you catch a monster
