Udo beach to Siolim

Gunshots have been heard at the steel factory

Requesting the nearby partrol jeep to check it out

Being at the wrong place...

At the right time

Fate!

That's how I became involved in that case

Hello Sir

Sorry to disturb you

Yes tell me

There was a party going on at the steel factory

Illegally of course

Drugs...

And they had a gun

Too many deaths Sir

It's your benami factory

And the media is here

Sir?

At a factory near Siolim in the state of Goa

A New Year Eve's party was taking place, illegally

It was interrupted by a sudden shootout

And a lot of youngsters were shot dead

Today is a black day

For all of us

All our condolences... to the victims and their families

The best medical treatment is beginning right now

I wish...

That all the survivors recover quickly

The police investigation has just started

And I'll meet you in about 12 hours time

With more information

Sir please let me in No one's allowed here, please leave

Who is this?

Tell me about him! And I need it by 12 today

But Ma'am... I don't care just get it done okay

We don't have time

Goa Police... they should take accountability

Bloody tourists and drug addicts!

We ain't selling drugs We're just tourists!

What about the minister?

They're saying that the party was at his factory

And that yoga guru?

Two people from his ashram have died too

13 lives lost... whose fault is it?

These incidents have become common in Goa

Sir..please Sir Let them do their job. Now leave!

Move! I have to go

Just allow me Sir

Relax Ma'am... we are working on it Please co-operate!

Move back Just listen!

The stories that the media said about the shootout...

Was more dangerous than the actual shootout itself

Like the Mumbai terror attacks...

This case was also complicated by the media

Please! I need to go in and find out what happened to my friends

Please let me in!

Let's hear from-

Ma'am please...

We're sorry for your friends

Please tell us what happened last night

My friends are inside...

I don't know what happened to them

I need to go in but they are not letting me in

And listen... keep the victim's family and friends away from the media

Okay Ma'am

Sir... please Sir my friends are inside Okay Ma'am! I'm on it

Ma'am please try to understand me and let me in

Sir, the hospital is over there

Why are we going to the mortuary?

Get rid of the entire crowd in fifteen minutes Understand?!

Are my friends okay Sir?

Please tell me Sir... Quiet!

Along with the 13 people who were killed

The Minister told us to bury the truth as well

But the only witness that was a problem... Kavya

Pandey hated her

Hey! Remove the sheet!

Sir my friends won't be here. I'm sure they are all right

Shut up! Please co-operate and identify your friends

You know him?

Suraj...

Him?

DJ...

Are all of them your friends?

No Sir...

Remove the next sheet

Andrea!!!

No Andrea!!!

Andrea...

Hey...check this one out next!

Pradeep... Pradeep!

Look!

Anyone else?

Faisal! Faisal?

There's someone inside I can hear a noise

Who's there?

Who is it?

Hey! Get in!

What do you want?

Hey! Hey! Is Faisal your son?

Yes... Who are you people?

Is it just you or is there anyone else at home?

Why are you asking me this? What happened to him?!!

Okay Ma'am...

Andrea...

Faisal Khan... a name that his mother gave him lovingly

But the Minister gave Faisal a new name

Islamic terrorist Faisal Khan

Has shot and killed 15 people

My prayers and condolences go to all the members of the families

Who suffered this great loss

Goa police...

Put their lives at stake

And rescued two people

I appreciate their brave efforts

Sir! Is this is a political stunt to cover up a drug scandal?

Sir! Are you laying a baseless blame on minorties, for this attack?

Friends...

I think we have enough meat to cook this week

The Siolim factory shootout was an act of pure terror

It's sole purpose was to disrupt the state's peaceful governance

Sir! I'm sorry but I have to disagree

Apart from Faisal being a Muslim

We have no evidence pointing to terrorism in this shootout Sir

And moreover this is an illegal drug party

So what?!

Drugs are involved Sir...

A thorough investigation has to be done

And until then, I strongly believe that we shouldn't share any of this with the media

Sir with elections just six months away...

Do you think you were successful in eradicating drugs and crime?

I have facts and figures

To prove that this state is drug free

And that our crime rate...

Is much lower than the national average

Sir!

Pandey...

I have a feeling... It's gonna be a bad year

Sorry Sir... Adhira Ma'am had to go

I know

Adhira...

She's just taken charge after such a tragedy

You know what happened to her husband right?

Yes Sir

I think she's...

Emotionally disturbed

And...

You're the IO for this case right? Yes Sir

Just keep me personally informed Okay?

Sure Sir... I will

Not just victims

I want the mobile phones of everyone who attended that party

Okay Ma'am?

Open it

Is he the suspect?

Yes Ma'am... we couldn't find any ID card or document from him

Only a mobile phone and this tattoo on his hand

It says Guna

He might be illiterate

Swapnil Tell me Ma'am

Check the crime records with this name and photo

Okay Ma'am

So...where's that girl Kavya?

Till now, you haven't asked me for anything...

I wanna buy you something

I'm happiest when you are with me

I don't want anything in life apart from you

If you're somehow able to convince my dad, everything will be sorted out

For this birthday... You'll be at our home

With your father's blessings

Ayyanaar! Hey! Look here! Just listen to what I have to say

I have done all that you have paid me for

You were supposed to prevent this information from leaking out.

Hey! Didn't I kill everyone without leaving a single shred of evidence?

He's still alive, right?

If he opens his mouth, we'll all get caught including you

Look! Everything must have leaked from your BPO office

It doesn't matter where it started Where will it end?

That's fine. Look! Just forget that

You listen to me now

One last attempt

Tomorrow... I'll get into this and take care of it myself!

Yes Doctor but...

Without the MRI, it's very difficult to tell. Doctor?

Adhira Ma'am, SP Siolim Hello Ma'am! Doctor...

The report you gave is disturbing It is...

Vital organs were punctured

Point blank shots except for these two

How are they both doing now? Not good

We've removed the bullets but you know...

Multiple head injuries and high drug intake

We've done our best Ma'am Sorry to be blunt doctor!

But how quickly can we talk to them?

Not anytime soon!

They're both sedated and unconscious now

Why don't I let you know when they are ready to talk?

Okay...I'll wait till then Are you sure?

Because it will take at least 8 to 10 hours

I don't have any other option

Okay... I'll see you then Okay Doctor

The law is blind

It can only see witnesses and evidence

The evidence...

Two fingerprints that we found on the murder weapon

One was Faisal's

At the time... we didn't know the person behind the other fingerprint

The witnesses...

These two people who are in the ICU

Only if they wake up...

Will the law open its eyes

He's slipped into a coma

Excuse me Doctor

Ma'am... Kavya

Pradeep!

Sir... is he okay?

Relax ma'am his vitals are steady

His life is out of danger

Pradeep... Something seems fishy Madam

Looks like his girlfriend

Maybe they all got together and planned it

Pandey that's enough! Take care of her

And make arrangements to record her statement

Pradeep...

Tell me your name... Kavya

Your full name?

Kavya Krishnamoorthy Krishnamoorthy?

Hindu? Hmm...

How do you know Faisal?

Faisal... we all work together

He's killed 13 people Don't you know?!

Sir! What are you blabbering?

Faisal is my friend... he wouldn't have killed anyone

Someone else must have killed him Hey!!!

Your Faisal's friend right?

A terrorist's friend will also be a terrorist

Sir! Faisal is innocent

He's not a terrorist

We have evidence with us

So stop this nonsense and tell me the truth!

And I need specific details

What plans did you guys have? Huh?! Sir...

Two of my friends are dead!

My boyfriend is in a coma... Why should I even answer you Sir?

Kavya! Calm down Ma'am

Why did you all go to that party?

Are you guys drug addicts?

We didn't even know that it was a drug party

The four of us work for a Chennai based IT company

We came to Goa for our vacation

And also, we just casually went to that party

All my friends were there I was the only one who left

Only you? Ma'am!

Varun has regained consciousness

Maya

Varun! None of our friends are alive

Andrea's dead Varun! Even at the end, she was talking about you

Pradeep is hurt and in a coma and these people are calling Faisal a terrorist

Please tell them he isn't like that

Maya! Please tell them what happened Varun

Maya!!!

You're not listening to what I'm saying and your just calling for Maya

Tell us who fired the gun Varun Maya!

Varun... please Varun Maya!

Kaya stop it, please calm down Maya!

Kavya... just go away

Relax Varun... just lie down

Pandey... who is this Maya?

Maya? Check it out

There's no one by the name of Maya in this list Ma'am

Maya is the game that Varun designed

Doctor... what's happening?

Varun is suffering from post traumatic memory disorder

Heavy drug usage or trauma could have caused that

His memory is not coherent now

He might even suffer from drug withdrawal symptoms

So... what are you saying doctor? Medically he is not fit to-

Yes

Even after a complete recovery...

His memory has to be ratified for official statements

Ma'am... the DGP is trying to reach you

Excuse me Doctor... Sure

There's a chance of the case transferring to the CBI

The Minister will take care of that

Are the witness statements ready?

You know Sir... only two survivors And Pradeep is in a coma

Now Varun has lost his memory

Adhira... these are terrorism charges

If there are no eye witnesses...

We'll get into trouble with the media and a human rights enquiry

Sir... we've got this girl Kavya

And she's a common friend to Pradeep, Varun and Faisal

From what she said Sir... Faisal just can't be a terrorist

I just need some time

I've got those forensic science reports- Faisal is a terrorist!

That's according to the police records

And that's why I'm still talking to you

You have just two days Okay Sir...

There's no CCTV in the factory

Nothing suspicious was recorded in the nearest CCTV Ma'am

Goa Control Room...

Goa police? Hello... Sir!

Hello!

1:15 AM

We got this call just ten minutes before we reached Ma'am

Someone who saw the shootout... has tried to inform us

Whose voice is this? Anonymous call

So... no idea Ma'am

But the call was made from Andrea's mobile

And that mobile is missing

We didn't find it at the crime scene

How come? No idea Ma'am

Kavya let me explain that

Fuck off!

Kavya!

Hey! Wait up

Kavya please... No Pradeep no!

It's over Pradeep!

You know what... You are dead to me!

Kavya just give me a minute...

Hey Kavya!

Hey Kavya! I'm standing right here You're the one who's leaving me!

Shit!

Nothing to worry Uncle... Pradeep is okay

He doesn't like it when we cry

It's just that he can't talk to us

But the doctor told me that he can hear us speak

Your mobile... you have too many missed calls

Any problem?

Nothing... it's my dad We don't get along

Okay I understand...

Varun...

Maya!

Varun... Maya! Hey!

Varun...

Mr. Manickam, Brother...listen to me! I don't need dinner. I need to head back

How is his fever? It's better Ma'am

He slept off... Okay I'll see him and leave

Alam! Enough of your acting

Close your eyes and sleep!

You want to play video games late in the night when you have a fever?

From now on, you cannot use the iPad!

I'm sorry Mom...

Mr. Manickam! Brother...

Ma'am...

What's all this?

I'm doing my job thinking that you'll take care of him

Ma'am... he's just a kid so...

Fine! Make sure this doesn't happen again

Okay Ma'am

Hello Ma'am... Tell me Pandey

We got his criminal record

5 murders 3 attempted murders

Smuggling, abduction... He's a thug Ma'am

And on 27 December... Skydeck 7862

Faisal and Guna reached Goa by the same flight

They even stayed at the same resort

One of the two fingerprints on the murder weapons matches with that of Faisal's

The Minister is right Ma'am

This shootout was planned

So... shall I prepare the report?

Huh? Hello?

Ma'am? Okay Pandey... do one thing

Try to match that fingerprint with every victim

Dead or alive

But... Ma'am!

Pandey just do what I say and let me know if there's a match

Okay Ma'am

In every case, the motive behind the crime is the key

In this case... It was my guilt

Not just the shootout case...

I was involved in the shootout as well
