Marry Me

Episode 32

I am sorry.

Do you know, Young Master Fei?

The luckiest thing...

that has ever happened in my life...

is knowing you.

Too bad that I am bearing a heavy responsibility.

If....

If we are not meant to see each other again in this life,

I hope that I could see you again in the coming life...

and continue our unfinished romance in this life.

Feng Wu?

Feng Wu, the leader of Tianxing Palace...

disregard the rules of Tianxing Palace.

She had a secret affair with a man and gave birth to a son.

She has tainted the reputation of Tianxing Palace...

yet she doesn't show remorse at all.

Hence, from today onwards,

she will be removed from the position, be punished accordingly,

and be chased out of Tianxing Palace.

Feng Wu.

If you want to leave Tianxing Palace completely,

you will have to endure 49 bone-locking spikes.

No one has made through the punishment before.

You can still change your mind.

Thank you for your kind reminder...

but I have made up my mind.

You may start the punishment now.

Well...

Bone-locking spikes will make you suffer from the lingering death.

You won't die immediately...

and it will drain your blood absolutely.

The pain is so unbearable you wish to die right away.

I have made the choice...

and I will bear the consequences.

Please continue the execution.

I hope that you won't regret it.

Feng'er!

You are so silly.

We can face anything together,

right?

Young Master Fei.

How did you find me?

You were in danger,

how could I stand by and watch?

I have set up countless traps in the jungle.

How did you...

Young Master Fei.

Why did you torture yourself?

I deserve it.

My wife was being tortured.

Even if I had to endure more injuries,

I would make sure I found you.

It's not their fault.

It's my own decision.

I willingly accept the punishment.

Why did you do that?

Feng Wu, you and Long Bao...

have violated the rules of Tianxing Palace.

She volunteered to leave...

and hence, she has to endure the pain of bone-locking spikes.

Why are you hiding everything from me?

Why did you bear it on your own?

I hope that...

you will take care of Xiao Bao.

If something happens to me,

don't blame yourself.

In this life,

I have so much memories with you...

and I feel really satisfied.

Listen.

No matter what, I...

will not abandon you and leave.

I shall be punished together with her.

My wife is so smart.

You came out with the idea to deceive the murderer...

with a horse cart.

So long as the villagers stay safe.

However, they're aiming us.

I think they will attack us again.

We must get back to the capital before night.

It has never crossed my mind that...

Yun Qing Xian is Lord Shi's illegitimate child.

Still, he massacred the Shi Family.

It seems that his mental is distorted.

If only I realised his true colours earlier.

If we could arrest him earlier,

we could have spared those innocent people.

You can't read mind.

No way you know it.

The good thing is...

we have discovered something great.

When we are back to the capital,

we shall reveal his identity...

and punish him according to the law.

By the way,

Brother Li went to get water, right?

It has been a long time yet he hasn't come back.

Exactly.

Many things happened lately.

That's why I am being overly sensitive.

Young Master Yue.

What took you so long?

The journey took some time.

Have some water.

The water is poisoned!

Let's go.

Attack!

Go!

Wujin Imperial Guard is here! Don't you dare to make troubles!

Leave now!

Young Master Yue, are you okay?

-Are you okay? -I am fine, Xiao Liu.

I am fine.

Lord Long didn't receive any news after a long time.

He worried about you. Hence, he sent us to help out.

Too bad that we got here too late.

No, you are not late.

You reached just in time.

-Li Ke! -Brother Li!

How is he doing??

Is there any antidote to the poison?

Is there really no antidote to the poison...

like what the physician said?

I know that you have tried your best to rush back.

However, he is in a deep coma.

There is no sign of regain consciousness.

The poison is fatal.

Now, his pulses are weak.

I fear that the poison has attacked his organs.

Unless we found the antidote,

otherwise, we can only leave it to God.

I could clear away the poison in the past.

However, as I am injured by bone-locking spikes.

I can't do anything at the moment.

It has never crossed my mind that...

he could be so vicious and merciless just to kill me.

Brother Li,

I am sorry for putting you in trouble.

Li Ke is loyal to his master.

He would sacrifice himself to save you.

He is such a kind person.

I hope God will bless him and help him to get over it.

Greetings, Your Highness.

The Long Family has remained loyal to the Emperor...

and has never ganged up with others.

Today, you are here to seek for a favour.

What is it?

I want the antidote.

I have no idea what you are saying.

Just cut to the chase.

Your Highness, you should know about...

the incident at Shi Village.

Since Yun Qing Xian treated his own father that way,

don't expect that his loyalty...

can remain strong forever.

Your Highness have what I want in your possession.

However, everything has a price.

You can ask anything from me.

Since you are so straightforward,

I shall be frank too.

I want Long Bao.

I know well...

what are you asking for.

I am willing to spend up all the assets of the Long Family...

to get what you want.

However, Long Bao...

is just a child.

Please be merciful...

and let go of Long Bao.

Long Yue.

You used to be really smart.

Why are you acting muddle-headed...

when it comes to this?

What I want...

has always been priceless.

You have to choose one between Long Bao and your servant.

I bet before you came to me,

you have got a plan.

Since you wish to protect the child,

you have to sacrifice your servant.

However,

he is just a servant yet he will have a grand funeral.

You have done your part as a kind owner.

He is more than just a servant.

I don't care what is playing on your mind.

If you insist to save Li Ke,

bring Long Bao here in exchange.

I can promise that...

but I want a promise in return.

Say it.

I hope that Your Highness...

would ensure Long Bao's safety.

Of course.

I want him...

for the nip in the bud.

I believe in Your Highness...

but I don't have faith in Yun Qing Xian.

Your Highness,

will you get rid of Yun Qing Xian?

This is half of the antidote.

I shall pass the rest to you when I see Long Bao.

Give it to him.

It can relieve the symptoms.

Young Master Yue.

Where did you get the antidote?

I bought it at a high price.

Long Residence

Young Lady Ruo Chen, are you serious about giving Lord Long the chicken soup?

Of course.

Everyone in the Shu Family has gone to the palace.

I am left behind at home.

Long Teng invited me to Long Residence not wanting to bore me out.

The soup was cooked for two hours.

He will feel my love for sure.

What a pity chicken.

What a pity Lord Long.

Young Lady Ruo Chen.

Brother Li.

You look better now.

I was thinking too much a few days back.

I worried for nothing.

Why are you here?

I am here with Young Lady Ruo Chen.

Young Lady Ruo Chen.

It seems that you are recovering quite well.

Shu Qing has been really worried...

-for the past few days. -Young Lady Ruo Chen.

You are in luck today.

I made some chicken soup...

and it is more than enough.

You may have some of the soup.

Take it while it is hot.

Stop making Shu Qing worries.

Sure.

Take it now.

Thank you, Young Lady Ruo Chen.

Don't take it!

Why can't he take it?

The soup is specially made by Young Lady Ruo Chen for Lord Long.

Li Ke shouldn't take it before Lord Long. It is against courtesy.

It is not against courtesy.

Brother Li has just recovered from a severe injury.

He should nourish his body.

It is not against courtesy.

I have the final say in this.

Take it!

Thank you for the kindness.

I shall not be rude by objecting it.

Don't take it!

How does it taste?

It is delicious.

That is for the best.

I shall go and see Long Teng.

You should stay back and keep Brother Li company. I am leaving.

Young Lady Ruo Chen, take care!

I have warned you.

Young Lady Ruo Chen added half a container of salt into the soup.

I couldn't stop her.

Drink more.

It is so awful.

Lord Long is doomed.

With you,

Miss Feng Wu, Xiao Bao,

Miss Shu and the gang around,

it feels as if the Long Residence...

has become more lively.

The soup is cooked for two hours.

Take it while it is still hot.

Let me know if my cooking skills have improved.

Are you sure it is edible?

Of course.

What makes you think that it is inedible?

The soup is specially made for you.

It smells good.

How does it taste?

I am sorry. I didn't mean it.

Are you okay?

I am sorry.

Long Teng, what is wrong?

I didn't leave the stove at all when I was cooking the soup.

Long Teng!

What is wrong?

Please wake up, Long Teng!

I was just teasing you. What a silly girl.

The soup is so good. No way I would pass out.

Even if I passed out for real,

that is because I was happy.

It is not funny!

You... That is too much!

I am sorry.

I shouldn't have had teased you.

However,

if I didn't do so,

I wouldn't know that you care about me so much.

I made it by myself.

I wonder if you like it.

Dad.

Come here.

I am drawing a portrait for us.

-Come here! -Sure.

Xiao Bao.

That doesn't look like your mum.

Which part?

Now she looks like the drawing.

Long Fei! How dare you?

You better watch out!

-Run for your life, dad! -Stand still!

Stand still!

-Spare my life please! -Stand still!

-I won't forgive you! -I am going to get caught!

Long Residence

The fireworks...

are as beautiful as the starry sky in Ximin.

The fireworks in your eyes are even more beautiful.

You are not watching the fireworks.

What are you looking at?

Nothing.

I escaped from death.

I have figured out about many things at once.

I have not completed many things.

I should...

try to make a change.

If I don't get the remaining of the antidote as soon as possible,

the poison in Li Ke...

will relapse very soon.

After Chinese New Year, I shall make arrangement...

for you to get married.

That means...

if Xiao Bao stays in Long Residence,

he might be confronted with danger anytime.

At the time being, the Long Family...

is no longer powerful enough to protect Xiao Bao.

In this country,

there is only one person who can protect him.

You mean the Empress Dowager?

If that is the case,

we must convince Ji Yan to agree to it.

Moving forward,

we have to act cautiously in every step.

Before Yun Qing Xian is gone,

Xiao Bao will always be in danger.

However, when I talked to the Crown Prince,

I played off the relationship between Yun Qing Xian and His Highness.

In that case, the future...

will only be more dangerous for us.

We must stay cautious all the time.

Let me find a chance to see the Empress Dowager.

We can't delay any longer.

However, at this stage,

in order to wipe out all the powers that put Xiao Bao at disadvantage,

the price...

is even greater than what we imagine.

However,

even if it will bring the Long Family to ruin,

I will not hesitate.

Young Master Yue.

I thank you on behalf of my master.

Since my master wanted to protect him,

I will ensure the success at all cost.

After all, Xiao Bao's family background...

is really important.

I have an idea.

However, I will need your help.

Lord Shu is such a rare guest.

It seems that...

you still don't know what had happened.

Lord Yun, do you aware that...

Young Master Yue and the Crown Prince...

are becoming really close these days?

If both of them form an alliance,

the massacre of the Shi Family...

and Shi Bo Yin's case will be really difficult to cover up.

The Long Family only work for the Emperor.

Young Master Yue is nothing but a businessman.

No way he will befriend the Crown Prince.

How do you get to know about...

their whereabouts?

In this city,

there is no place which is free from my spies.

The ongoing fight to the throne...

is between Consort Shu's adopted son...

and the Crown Prince.

Young Master Yue is paving path for his own future.

Judging from the wealthiness of the Long Family,

no way you can fight with him.

Never overestimate yourself...

and underestimate your enemies.

To the Crown Prince,

as long as it is beneficial to him,

it makes no difference who comes to help.

You are...

nothing but a piece of dispensable chess.

I am here to inform you that...

a few days later,

the Crown Prince will pay the Long Family a visit.

When they form an alliance,

it will be too late...

when you want to do anything that time.

You better think carefully...

who deserves your loyalty better.

Mu'er!

Sister Ji.

I heard that...

the Empress Dowager made an exception...

and allowed you to lead the Music Bureau.

You are right.

How did that happen?

Only by doing so,

I have a proper reason to come and leave the palace at my will.

However, you have promised me that...

you will protect Long Bao...

and stay away from the palace.

If the Long Family and you get involved in the conflict,

no way we can hide away Long Bao's family background.

I was looking for you.

We don't have to hide it since we are unable to hide it anymore.

You should stand forward and prove Xiao Bao's identity.

That is the only way to protect Xiao Bao.

If you agree to it,

I shall make arrangement for you to leave the palace.

There is no development at all on Ding Sheng's matter.

We might need to see Lord Ding...

to investigate further on the matter.

Your Majesty, we have important facts about the case...

to report to Your Majesty.

What else did you discover?

Report it now.

We found new clues about Ding Sheng's matter.

However...

Lord Long,

leave now.

I am leaving now.

Your Majesty,

Ding Sheng has written an admission.

He admits that he has an accomplice in conducting illegal selling government posts.

Who is that?

Your Majesty, this matter...

is a collusion between the Crown Prince...

and Long Yue.

Long Residence

Lord Wang sent me away on purpose.

I fear that it is not as simple as we think.

Perhaps Ding Sheng's matter...

will affect our family.

The evidence of the matter has been found, right?

Both of you found the truth and solved the case.

How can they frame us up?

Big Brother.

When worse comes to worst, just give up on your job.

We can go back to our hometown and become farmers.

At this stage,

I don't have a choice.

We can't procrastinate any longer.

I need to ask around.

We should never wait idly and do nothing.

Big Brother.

Be extra careful.

Based on what you said,

something fishy is going on.

We need to find out the truth as soon as possible.

For some unknown reasons,

I feel not at ease.

I have squared away everything.

The elderly and children of the Long Family will go back to our hometown first.

That is for the best.

At least, we can protect Xiao Bao.

While I,

I will stay with you.

We will be in the same boat in good or bad times.

I have also made arrangement...

for tomorrow.

However, make sure...

you stay safe all the time.

If we manage to make through this hardship,

moving forward,

I will keep you company and we shall run the Long Family's businesses well.

I will never interfere in anything else.

Dad.

Dad.

Dad.

Shan'er, why are you here?

This...

This is not where you should come.

Don't worry, dad.

I have bribed the guards.

They won't make things difficult for me.

This is the only thing that I can do at this stage.

Please take care of yourself.

Have you made arrangements to...

the funeral of Xiang'er?

Yun Qing Xian did everything on his own.

I didn't get to send Xiang'er off.

Your sister had always been a clean freak since young.

She always ensure that she appeared in her best state.

I hope Yun Qing Xian...

would make allowance for their marriage...

and make proper arrangement for her funeral.

Shan'er,

you and your sister...

have different temperament.

You are a wild child.

Your sister, on the other hand...

Dad,

my sister has passed away.

You are the only person left.

Please don't worry, dad.

I will figure out a way...

to clear your name.

Don't interfere in my case.

I only wish that...

you can stay safe.

Your sister has passed away...

but your life has just begun.

Sometimes,

we can't judge a book by its cover.

You have to find someone who loves you sincerely...

before you devote the rest of your life to him.

Judging from the Ding Family's situation,

if you can still meet someone...

who won't give up on you,

that means he is really reliable...

and you can trust him.

Got it?

Don't worry, dad.

Whenever I am in trouble,

I always got help from someone.

I always managed to turn bad luck into good fortune.

Shan'er.

Listen to my advice.

If you have the opportunity,

leave this place.

Don't be like me and your sister.

For the rest of my life,

I will be trapped in prison.

Dad.

Stop thinking negatively.

When you are out,

we shall leave here together.

Be honest, for this case,

how much do you know?

You should come clean...

to save yourself.

With regard to this matter,

I know what I am doing.

Bear it in mind,

leave this place once you have a chance.

I don't trust anyone else.

Go to Lord Long Teng.

I have something to tell him.

Sure,

I will go now.

Here.

Greetings, Your Highness.

This is the antidote that you ask for.

Thank you, Your Highness.

Xiao Bao,

why don't you get changed...

and play with the Crown Prince?

Sure.

Greetings, Your Highness.

Please allow me...

to get Xiao Bao changed.

After all, he will go out with Your Highness.

He should wear something proper.

Let's go.

Don't worry.

I will treat Xiao Bao well.

It seems that Your Highness are not a merciless person.

It also seems that Your Highness have figured something out.

At the time being, the Long Residence...

is full of your men.

Don't rush it.

Let Xiao Bao and my wife spend some time together.

It is also a chance...

for us to have a talk.

Aunt Mu'er,

why are we in a rush?

Where are we going?

We are going to see someone who is very important to you.

You will know once you see that person.

Let's go!

Aunt Mu'er.

Is she the person we are meeting?

Xiao Bao!

Xiao Bao!

Xiao Bao, do you still remember me?

Yes.

We met once in the palace.

You are Madam Ji.

My poor son.

Madam Ji, you are confused.

Xiao Bao.

I am not Madam Ji.

I am your real mother.

You must be lying! I don't believe it!

Xiao Bao!

Xiao Bao!

Don't worry, I will take care of him.

Sister Ji,

please don't be overly upset.

After all, Xiao Bao is still young.

We will protect him at all cost.

However, at the time being,

too many have sacrificed themselves for this.

If you won't muster up the courage to face it,

Xiao Bao...

will be exposed to more danger.

We have made arrangement...

to bring you back to the palace through a secret passage.

For Xiao Bao,

we are willing to risk everything.

Now, we leave it to you...

if you are willing to work with us.

Lord Ding.

Young Lady Ding invited me here.

Lord Ding.

Lord Ding?

Lord Ding!

What happened?

Seal the entrance and arrest Long Teng!

-Yes! -This is bad!
