Marry Me

Episode 26

Why are you so strange?

Why are you standing in my way when you don't want to go inside?

Didn't you see that Young Master Yue...

was fierce and overbearing?

Are you going to bear the consequences if Sister Mu'er is wronged?

Stop standing there like a piece of wood. Go away!

Young Master Yue has instructed that....

no one is allowed to go inside,

let alone eavesdropping.

I didn't know about the instruction.

What was the instruction given?

The instruction given by Young Master Yue...

is only made known to me.

Now that we meet up...

are you not going to say a word?

If you won't leave me alone,

there is no need to say anything.

The person who applied medicine for me...

was you, right?

Since you still have feelings for me,

why should we torture each other?

Stop having a wishful thinking.

I didn't apply medicine for you.

I have done saying what I should.

What you should do,

you have also done it.

There is no need for us to cling on each other.

This place is quite far from Ju Wine House.

Why are you here?

It has nothing to do with you.

The road is rough and narrow.

I know why are you here.

With regard to the Long Family's affair,

you are in no position to ask.

You are also in no position to interfere.

You are thinking too much, Young Master Yue.

I am here as someone requested me to look for Young Lady Shu.

It has nothing to do with the Long Family.

Who is that?

Since I am no longer in the position to inquire about the Long Family's affair,

then you are in no position...

to ask about the person who seek help from me.

You don't have to ask about it.

I bet that person...

is your lover, Yun Qing Xian, right?

So what?

For who I am here or for what I am here...

that is my own business.

If you are not satisfied, you can say it in one go...

so that when we meet again,

things will not get more and more difficult.

Ever since I met you,

I thought I have met...

someone who is a match for me.

We are destined...

to be locked together.

If we don't make it clear today,

are you asking me to cling on you moving forward?

I don't care why did you leave the Long Family...

but I want you to know...

why am I here.

Just let go of me.

Do we not have any other choice?

Don't worry.

I will come and pick you up.

However,

we have been missing in action for many days.

Something...

has to be dealt with now.

What if His Majesty knows about it...

and insists on having me entering the palace?

Don't worry.

You still have me.

We are instructed by our superior...

to kill those who resist!

Go, take all of them down!

-Go! -Attack!

Don't move!

Hai Gui?

Say it, who gave you the instruction to kill me?

It's Ding Sheng.

It's Lord Ding!

Aunt.

I am here to pay you a visit.

Come here.

I am here to pay you a visit.

I am sorry that I am late...

and put you in the trouble...

where you are locked up in the palace.

So, you know that you are late.

Do you know...

what does that mean?

I know that I have made a mistake.

I have let you and my father down.

I am not a good niece and daughter.

I am here in the palace...

to get the verification...

whether Father has something to do with the death of Consort Li.

Did Father do that to Consort Li because...

she is impregnated by His Majesty?

You are such a jinx! You destroyed the Shu Family!

You ruined everything that I built with great effort!

If it weren't for the old times' sake,

His Majesty would have sentenced everyone in the Shu Family to a death sentence!

How dare you mention about Consort Li!

Listen,

she deserved it!

Her death is not to be regretted!

Not to forget about Ji Yan.

She must be laughing at me in secret right now.

These hussies!

These hussies who cursed me...

and play tricks behind me!

All of them deserve to be dead!

Ruo Chen, what happened?

It's Consort Shu!

Nothing.

It's not her fault.

She is already suffering.

Don't worry.

The Imperial Harem is a place of troubles.

Fortunately, you manage to escape from the trouble.

I went to see His Majesty just now.

His Majesty has given an edict...

to retract the previous edict that conferred you as the Noble Lady.

You don't have to enter the palace anymore.

Really?

At the moment, the matter is complicated as Ding Sheng is deeply involved in it.

His Majesty is more concerned about...

the truth behind the demise of Consort Li.

I worry that the Shu Family's affair...

will affect you.

Hence, I went to see His Majesty.

How about my father?

Will something happen to him?

Don't worry.

Your father is safe at the moment.

The clues to the case are clear to see.

We are looking for Imperial Physician Wang...

to verify the matter.

The truth will be revealed soon.

Now, of all things,

the priority...

is your safety...

to prevent bad guys from attacking in secret again.

You can't go back to the Shu Family again.

In that case,

where should I go.

Consort Shu.

You are so bold!

How dare you barge into my resting place?

Your Highness.

The time has changed.

Since there was no one guiding at the entrance...

therefore, you can't accuse me of barging into your resting place.

I am here today...

to bring good news to you.

Are you not here...

to laugh at me?

I don't dare to.

Perhaps Your Highness will get to know that...

Ding Sheng is sacked by His Majesty.

Lord Shu will have no worries soon.

It is impossible that you don't know.

This case,

regardless of the judge...

will end up the same.

Your Highness, I beg to differ.

If we manage to...

annihilate Ding Sheng's influence in the palace,

I know how to turn the table.

When the time comes,

the Shu Family can get away with it.

Your Highness can...

sleep at peace.

Why are you helping me?

Ding Sheng is your father-in-law.

The Shu Family is losing its power.

You should feel happy.

Ding Sheng?

He is too corrupted.

I intend to...

replace him.

Do you have the guts to risk everything...

and support the Shu Family?

You are precious.

His Majesty dotes on you.

With my help,

you will be able to put down Ding Sheng in one go.

Do you really want...

your great effort...

to be ruined in one day?

What plan do you have?

I was informed that...

you have the evidence of Ding Sheng's guilt.

This is good timing.

If we don't use it now,

when can we make use of it?

For Consort Shu

It seems that...

I have underestimated you.

You are a man of great potential.

I was snatched from the jaws of death...

because of your help.

You are not a sentimental person.

However,

the person who saved you...

is Shu Ruo Chen.

I am not going to take away her credit.

Second brother,

why did you...

divorce your wife?

I heard from our youngest brother that...

all the coincidences...

are not reasonable.

I bet you are hiding something from us.

Second brother, why did you jump at the conclusion before looking into the matter?

No matter what,

it is over now.

Furthermore,

the marriage is fake.

I’m just returning her freedom.

Second brother, you...

Big brother,

it's my business.

Stop worrying about me.

I am fine.

Mu'er,

what is going on?

Madam Yun, please be straightforward.

I know that you have been wronged.

My husband is not heartless.

Don't worry.

The Yun Family will bear the responsibility.

Today,

I am here...

to propose marriage to you on behalf of my husband.

-Go away. Leave. -What are you doing?

-How can you do business like this? -No reception for you.

-Stop gossiping. -Let's go.

You should have checked out who owns this place.

-Let's go. -Go away!

Young Master Yue.

Young Master Yue.

What happened?

Nothing.

Mr Tie.

It's about the Ju Family.

Rumour has it that...

Young Lady Ju will marry into the Yun Family as the second wife.

Long Yue.

You wrote the divorcing letter by yourself.

Now, you have no right to come here.

She has the rights to marry anyone and it's none of your business.

Ju Wine House

What happened to the Ju Family?

Why are there so many things?

We are helping Mr Ju to move.

I heard that his daughter...

is getting married again in two days.

Look at the proposing presents.

I bet she is marrying into a rich family.

Everyone in this area knows about it.

Ju Wine House

Let's go.

Let's go.

We have lived in this house for so long.

I feel reluctant to leave.

Father.

As long as we are together,

we can call anywhere home.

Furthermore,

you are so good at brewing wine.

You are unbeatable!

We are just going to live somewhere.

It's Young Master Yue.

Young Master Yue.

Young Master Yue.

How are you?

Congratulations.

You have found your ideal husband.

You don't have to...

make do with me anymore.

Thank you for the concern, Young Master Yue.

I will bear it in mind.

Mu'er.

Why are you torturing yourself?

If both of you misunderstood each other,

you just have to explain to him.

You don't have to lie in his face.

Anyway,

we are leaving soon.

There is nothing to explain.

That is for the best.

He can forget about me.

Sister!

How could you so muddle-headed?

Not only you didn't blame brother-in-law,

you also went to the Ju Family to propose marriage.

You are embarrassing our father!

You know nothing.

Only by doing so,

we can avoid being gossiped.

What if Ju Mu'er agrees to marry into our family?

What should you do?

She turned down the proposal.

This woman...

is way more difficult than I imagine.

Sister.

Is it really worthwhile to sacrifice so much for this man?

You are not married.

Of course, you don't understand that.

Between husband and wife,

the most important thing is compromising and tolerance.

I did it on my own...

as I want to protect my dignity as the first wife.

It's better than still being in the dark...

when she is married into the family.

Sister.

This is not love.

Yun Qing Xian treats you badly.

He is not sincere!

Sister.

Don't be silly.

You should plan for yourself.

What should I do?

Everything that I have done...

is for him.

I reserve nothing since the beginning.

As long as he is happy,

even if I have to welcome Ju Mu'er into this family,

what else can I do?

Sister.

You are a pushover.

She will never get to bully me.

Ju Mu'er...

is going too far!

I won't let her off!

Jing Shui Temple

I am really happy that...

you pay me a visit.

I have been kept in the temple for a long time.

I am bored to death.

Now, I can seize the chance to take a stroll.

We should thank Lord Long who found this quiet place...

for Young Lady to take a rest at ease...

and avoid those gossips that go around the town.

Young Lady, you should be grateful.

Actually,

I am here...

to bid goodbye to both of you.

I am leaving the Capital.

Why?

You and your father have been living in the capital for a long time.

Why are you leaving in a rush?

Is it...

related to Young Master Yue?

I never believe that you are the kind of person who would have an affair.

If you don't explain it,

no one can help you out.

I am happy that both of you trust me.

Su Qing.

Take care of yourself.

Take care of Young Lady Shu too.

Also,

watch out for Yun Qing Xian.

He is not a simple person.

Thank you for the reminder, Young Lady Ju.

However,

I have something on my mind.

I am not sure if I should ask the question.

Young Lady, if you have any doubts, please say it out.

I wonder if you...

know Ji Yan?

Ms Shu.

Why did you ask so?

Nothing.

Forget it if you don't know her.

Ding Yan Shan?

What are you doing?

Ju Mu'er.

Finally, you fell into my hands.

I couldn't do anything to you in the past.

Today,

I am seeking revenge for my sister.

We are not on bad terms.

Why are you making things difficult for me?

I have been holding resentment against you!

My sister is gentle, kind and not calculative.

I can't take it.

Today, we shall resolve all the resentment at one go!

I have turned down the proposal gifts from Madam Yun.

I have also sent back the marriage proposal by the Yun Family.

What else do you want from me?

It's fine if you defend your sister against an injustice.

However, please be reasonable.

Stop mention about my sister.

If you didn't seduce my brother-in-law,

my sister wouldn't have had cried so much.

When one encounters difficulties in life, she should reflect upon herself.

I have done nothing to be ashamed of.

You should call your brother-in-law to account,

not simply jumping at the conclusion.

You are trying to talk your way out of it.

You!

I wanted to give you another chance.

However, you can't tell right and wrong apart.

You are despicable!

I am nothing in front of your tricks.

I won't attack unless I got attacked.

We can just forget about this incident.

I can pretend that nothing has happened.

However,

if you won't stop leaving me alone,

I will play along.

You!

Ding Yan Shan!

Ding Yan Shan! Stop there!

Don't come near me!

Stand there! Danger is not far away! Stop running!

You attacked me in secret for times.

You also tried to put me in danger.

How do we balance out those things?

I can't stand when you pretend to be aloof.

You are good at studying and martial arts.

You are equally good to anyone.

However, you love to pretend to be delicate in front of others.

Young Master Yue and Yun Qing Xian...

-are deceived by you. -Thank you. I am flattered.

You!

My only regret is I didn't ensure that you disappear entirely.

If that is the case,

my sister won't have to be sad.

Are you admitting that...

you are the one who set fire to the wine house?

-Am I right? -Yes! I did it!

The only regret I have is I didn't manage to get rid of you.

Watch out!

Are you okay?

Ju Mu'er, are you okay?

Ju Mu'er!

Wake up!

Young Master Yue, I shall report to the authority.

Stand there.

Don't spread it.

What do you mean, Young Master Yue?

Am I not being clear?

Something has happened to Young Lady Ju.

In the afternoon,

Young Lady Ju came to bid me goodbye.

After she left,

I saw the signs of fighting at the back of the hill.

I also found Young Lady Ju's bracelet.

Young Master Yue.

Why did you stop me from reporting to the authority?

It is not a trifle.

Young Lady!

I went to Ju Residence.

Sister Mu'er didn't go back.

The longer the time,

the more dangerous it is for Young Lady Ju.

If I knew that you are such a heartless person,

I wouldn't have had taken the risk to inform you.

Let's go and see Long Teng.

Stand there.

We don't have any clue.

No one is allowed to leave.

Even if we don't have the clue,

we should not wait idly and do nothing.

You have chased her out of the Long Residence...

with a divorcing letter.

Are you still holding resentment against her?

Now, you refuse to save her though you know that she is in danger.

Calm down, both of you.

If this is a kidnapping case,

the kidnapper...

should already be asking money from the Long Family.

Besides that,

the temple is in a remote area.

Any outsider who appears there...

will attract attention for sure.

If their target...

is really Mu'er,

they could have attacked her when she was on her way.

Why must they do it there?

Unless...

they have got the wrong person.

Their target...

might be Young Lady Shu.

No way! The spot where Young Lady Shu hides...

is chosen by Lord Long.

No one would know about that.

There is no windtight wall in this world.

If Young Lady Ju...

could find Young Lady Shu,

that means other people can do that too.

If the kidnappers realise that they have got the wrong person,

Young Lady will be in a greater danger than she already is.

Who would target to kidnap you?

Could it be those assassins...

you met on the first day you went into the palace?

They didn't get what they want in the past.

That's why they made a second attempt.

No, it's not them.

Why?

On that day, the kidnapper had a clear target.

They aimed to kill Ms Shu.

However, it's different this time.

They didn't kill the target right away.

They kidnapped the target instead.

Furthermore, I have a feeling that these people...

have no idea how Young Lady Shu looks like.

That's why they abducted Young Lady Ju by mistake.

I wonder if you have any plan, Young Master Yue.

-Li Ke. -Yes.

Find out more details from Long Fei.

Yong Master Fei and Young Lady Feng Wu are not in town.

They went to look for Imperial Physician Wang.

Do this.

Go to Tian Xia Association...

and look for Lord Zhao.

Tell him that I owe him one.

Go now!

Young Master Yue.

Tian Xia Association is a place where the gangsters gather.

You can't afford to owe them anything.

Don't forget about the rules of the Long Family.

Never befriend dangerous people.

Forget it.

I will go look for her.

Young Master Yue!

Young Master Yue!

Let go of me!

-Help! -Be good!

-Is there anyone? -Stop shouting!

Hurry!

Hurry!

Big brother.

Why did you abduct two persons?

Both of them were having a fight.

I didn't know who is Shu Ruo Chen.

Since both of them look elegant,

I abducted the both of them.

Fool!

Find out...

who is...

Shu Ruo Chen!

I am not Shu Ruo Chen!

You have got the wrong person.

Listen to me.

Do you know who am I?

If you are not Shu Ruo Chen,

then you must be her.

If you don't mind I ask,

why do you want to kidnap Shu Ruo Chen?

Is it for money...

or to seek revenge?

What is the difference?

If you are aiming for money,

everything is easy.

If it is to seek revenge,

it doesn't matter who is Shu Ruo Chen.

We will end up dead anyway.

What should we do?

What do they want?

No matter what, bear it in mind that...

if you want to live,

don't let them know our real identity.

It's your fault.

Why did you go to the temple?

Now I am in trouble because of you.

You always bring bad luck to me!

It's not the right time to be willful.

This is a serious matter.

If they find out...

none of us is Shu Ruo Chen,

and worse, we overheard their conversation,

they will kill us to protect their secret.

No.

If they know my real identity,

they won't dare to hurt me.

Are you going to challenge their guts...

with your life?

Don't forget that they are bandits.

Then...

Then what should we do?

They will interrogate us separately...

to know our real identity.

Bear it in mind.

Before we know their aim,

we must not reveal our real identity.

Otherwise, we might be murdered.

Find out at all costs...

which of them is our target.

Big brother,

I have warned you before.

We should not take in a doubtful transaction like this.

Furthermore, this transaction is...

-This transaction is... -You know nothing!

This transaction will bring us a lot of money!

With the money,

we won't have to worry for the rest of our life.

Why do you think I make the effort?

Let's interrogate them separately.

You, you, and you.

Lock them up separately.

-Do you hear me? -Bear it in mind.

Give them the time of a joss stick.

If you don't come clean,

you will be killed!

Don't say it.

Closed today

Having a full house all the time

What are they discussing?

They have been talking for a long time yet we didn't get any news.

Having a full house all the time

Lord Zhao, everyone knows about you.

It is indeed an honour...

to meet Lord Zhao today.

Young Master Yue, you are being overly polite.

Please cut to the chase.

A straightforward man does not resort to insinuations.

I would like to buy a piece of information...

from Lord Zhao.

The information that you are looking for...

is not simple I assume.

I don't do business that brings losses.

I will only do it once today.

You can make any request.

Young Master Yue hasn't come out yet after so long.

Could something happen to him?

Should we take a look at him?

Stand there.

Thank you for your hospitality.

We must meet up more frequently.

It's great to do business with the Long Family.

Safe journey, Lord Zhao.

Let's go.

-Have you got the information? -Young Master Yue.

Did you make any promise to him?

It's not the right time to ask.

Li Ke.

Send people to Eight Heads Stronghold.

Eight Heads Stronghold?

It is an infamous bandit nest.

Is Young Lady Ju...

If anything happens to Mu'er,

I will make them pay the price.

What do you plan to do? Don't come near.

Please don't!

What are you doing?

You have the guts!

Do you know who is my father?

If he knows about it,

he won't let go of you.

Fine.

Tell me who is your father.

Let's see if I will be scared to death.

Why did you abduct me?

If it is for money, just tell me.

Just release us,

tell us the amount,

I will send someone to pass you the money.

You will get exactly what you want.

If that is the case,

you must be Young Lady Shu.

Of course, not.

The other lady must be Young Lady Shu.

How do I make myself clear?

In short, I won't tell you anything.

Both of us has to leave here safely.

How about this.

Tell me the truth.

Maybe I can spare your life.

Why should I trust you?

I, Sheng, is known for keeping promise...

in the village.

I guarantee what I say with my life.

I have made inquiries from many places.

I know that Shu Ruo Chen...

lives in the temple in the mountain.

She will take a walk in the afternoon every day.

One of you...

is a young lady while another is a servant.

Judging from your attire,

you must be the servant.

The other person...

seems to be coming from a prestigious family.

Since you are sure of it, why haven't you done anything?

Your life is coming to an end,

yet you are still being stubborn.

Let me fulfill your wish.

I wonder...

is which one is stronger, your mouth or your bone.

People!

Remove one of her arms!

Yes!

Big brother!

Something happened!

Bring them along.

Leave!

Let's go.

Follow my lead.

Give me your hand.

Hurry up, those who are at the back!

Big brother.

What happened?

We had a good time at Eight Head Stronghold.

Why do you tell us to leave out of a sudden?

Lord Zhao sent us a message...

informing me that someone is coming for us. How can we stay any longer?

Is the Shu Family looking for us?

We are in a difficult position.

If we don't have a choice,

I can't keep them any longer!

We shall talk about it when we are running out of choice.

We have to leave soonest the possible.

Where are we going?

Will they...

kill us to protect their secret?

They might bury us in the wild.

Don't worry.

They didn't even have the time to pack up before they left in a rush.

It means our saviour is here.

Really?

It must be my father.

He sent people to save us.

It seems that we have gone into a mountain.

Once we are in the mountain,

even if your father sends a troop to look for us,

it will take at least half a month.

When the time comes, we might have had been killed.

What should we do?

I am still so young.

I don't want to die yet.

We need to think of a way...

to leave some clues for them...

for directions.

Young Master Yue!

Young Master Yue, we couldn't find anyone despite searching high and low.

-Yes, Young Master Yue. -We found nothing.

They have just left not long ago.

Did Zhao inform them?

Li Ke,

send people to keep a close watch at Tian Xia Association.

It's not that simple.
