The Silent Criminal

Episode 13

Dig out Bainasu

and destroy it.

Feng Bao.

You're finally here.

This time,

I will make you accept your loss.

Ok.

Admit defeat!

Three against one?

That's good.

If you admit defeat,

then as promised,

we will spare your life.

You shouldn't have taught me

the second move of the Return of the Swords skill.

You're right.

I underestimated you.

Do you think you win?

This time,

I'll protect you.

I'll protect you from now on.

Shi Jing Yao, Constable from the Capital.

Do me a favor.

What are you doing?

Do you sell leather?

I came to the Capital to do important things.

She's the thief that stole Dayintuya.

That stupid pack of tea leaves

ruined two of my leather pieces.

That bastard!

You guys are going to Storm Town?

That's my territory.

I'm familiar with it.

I'll take you to see your father-in-law.

You two just stay here.

If you need anything,

drop my name.

Long Yao.

You owe me your head too.

Women all bear grudges,

yet you had to burn her arrows.

Why do you dress like that?

What's wrong?

I never know you are so beautiful!

Who needs the number one weapon in the world,

Dayintuya?

You are the best weapon!

I know that you feel guilty,

but it wasn't your fault.

Can you man up?

How about you hitting me

until I can't laugh anymore.

I'm telling you

to stand up

and walk out

like a man!

Ok.

I mean walk out of your sorrow!

Will you give up on Storm Town?

No.

I won't give up on you either.

You two,

will always be my best friends.

What are you saying?

You attacked the Jinyiwei Guard.

Do you want to die?

What do you want?

You Jinyiwei Guards

are pretty soft when interrogating suspects.

I'm just doing my job.

This is how you do your job?

Hmm?

Let me go.

Feng Bao!

Do you know why I want to kill you?

This is my brother, Zhang Kuang Zheng.

He was killed wrongly by your father.

I'll use your blood

to honor him.

Twenty Years Ago

Feng Bao,

what do you think?

I think

that you're right.

Feng Bao.

You are the Head Eunuch to the emperor.

I have something

for you to give to him.

The emperors of the last dynasty

used 30 years

and all his efforts

to create numerous majestic weapons,

so that he could colonize Japan.

But he used up

too much of the country's resources

and caused internal conflict

beyond repair.

He had to bury and hide

all these weapons.

and named them

the Bainasu Treasure.

Location of the Treasure

Dayintuya is the key

Dayintuya is the key

Now that we're continuously fighting wars on the border,

I want to ask the emperor

to dig up the weapons in the Bainasu,

and gift them to the border troops

to relieve their pressure

and protect the people

of our dynasty.

I think

that many weapons in the Treasure

can not only protect our safety,

but can also be used to train our soldiers

to expand our territory,

just like the First emperor of Qin and the emperor Wu of Western Han.

The First emperor of Qin wasn't good at military tactics.

Even though he united many lands,

he caused great misery amongst the people.

Even though the emperor Wu of Western Han

expanded his territory

to a size much bigger than before

and created a strong and large country,

that was when the Han Dynasty began to weaken.

I'm opening the Treasure

to defend against our enemies.

It's definitely not

to use our troops for unwanted battles.

If I could assist the emperor

like you could

to colonize Japan,

then my sacrifice is worth it.

Unfortunately

I'm just an eunuch.

Sima Qian

once endured torture and humiliation

to finish writing the "Historical Records",

leaving an impact

throughout the ages.

You have a kind heart.

In the future,

you will also do something great.

If you don't mind,

I'd like to teach you

all the knowledge I've learned.

I hope that

it could have a positive effect on you.

Zhang Kuang Zheng hid the old dynasty's treasure map for personal gain

and his ulterior motives.

Behead him now.

Ye Cheng!

You foolish emperor.

I don't accept Brother Zhang Kuang Zheng

being wrongly killed by you!

I...

Pei Zhang

came late to protect you.

Young Long Yao

Lord Feng.

We weren't able to get Dayintuya.

What should we do?

I've seen the map

and know the approximate location of the Bainasu Treasure.

At the end of the day, Dayintuya is just an item

which can't fly away itself.

Whether it's today or tomorrow,

whether it's after 10 years or 20,

I will find it.

I'll open the treasure

and find justice

for Brother Zhang Kuang Zheng.

Brother Zhang Kuang Zheng

I will open Bainasu

so that the world gives him justice.

Even if you kill me,

I won't let you control the country.

I've already destroyed Bainasu.

You sent people to destroy Bainasu.

I know

what you've done.

But it's a pity.

I led you to believe

that you found the entrance to Bainasu.

That was all part of my plan.

Each step you took

fell within my plan.

Where is Bainasu?

It's obvious.

The entrance into Bainasu

is under Li Duo's grave.

Lord,

we really can't find anything else.

Feng Bao.

Retreat.

Yes.

This

is the real Bainasu.

I want to finish my brother's last wish.

What wish?

The Centurion's base camp is up ahead.

Pei Zhang,

set up camps.

My brother

had asked the late emperor

to dig up the weapons in Bainasu

and gift them to the border troops

to relieve their pressure

and protect our people.

But your father

thought that he had ulterior motives

and killed him for it.

But I think

the weapons in Bainasu

can support a new army

to expand our land,

just like the Emperor Qin and the Emperor Wu.

The First emperor of Qin

used military power relentlessly

to unite all lands

yet caused misery amongst the people.

Emperor Wu of Western Han

invaded lands however far they were.

Emperor Wu of Western Han invaded lands however far they were

and continuously went on crusades

to expand his territory bigger than ever.

He built a strong country, but used too many resources

and caused the Han Dynasty

to weaken.

The Han Dynasty

began to fall from the peak.

Our dynasty

opening the Treasure

is to fight against foreign enemies.

Is to fight against foreign enemies.

It's never meant for starting and trapping in wars.

It's never meant for

starting and trapping in wars.

You.

Brother.

Brother.

My Father didn't wrongly kill Zhang Kuang Zheng.

My Father rejected Bainasu

for all his people.

But you

urgently wanted to open Bainasu

and told all the other officials

about this secret.

In order to prevent internal conflict,

Official Zhang Kuang Zheng

asked the emperor

to kill him.

Good Strategies of Governing

Zhang Kuang Zheng hid the last dynasty's treasure map for personal gain

and his ulterior motives.

Behead him now.

Nonsense!

In order to warn the officials

to forget about Bainasu

and

to keep you alive.

You're lying!

If you don't believe me,

you can kill me right now.

How come he knows what my brother said?

Is he actually a righteous ruler,

different from the late emperor?

That's impossible.

Impossible!

Brother.

Brother.

It's impossible.

Impossible.

Brother!

Do it for the people.

Don't disappoint the people.

Your life was saved by Official Zhang Kuang Zheng.

Don't let him down.

Bainasu,

just let it disappear.

Go now and send the word!

OK!

Report!

Official Zhao,

General Pei Zhang,

there's news!

What color is it?

Green.

Great!

Hurry up.

Prepare for the emperor's arrival!

Yes!

What color?

Red,

red.

I am the General of the Three Armies,

General Pei Zhang.

Today, I'm officially taking over

the Daning Command Division.

Think carefully!

What can a petty Jinyiwei Guard

do to me?

If the signal is red,

shoot the arrows.

I...

came late to protect you.

Shoot the arrows.

Shoot the arrows!

Protect the emperor!

I was right

to trust you with it.

Go back to the base.

For 20 years,

I stay alive

just to revenge against you.

But now that you're dead,

the people who killed you

have to pay.

Elder brother.

Lord Feng.

There's a ghost!

Attack!

Slackers

will be beheaded!

It's you.

Long time no see,

Official Long from the Jinyiwei Guard,

and Constable

Official Shi.

Come!

I want to watch you die,

slowly.

Get up.

Get up!

Shi Jing Yao.

Actually, I treat you as my friend.

It hurts.

It really hurts.

I thought you were dead.

I'm not like you.

I treat you as my family.

You're dying too fast.

Slow down,

so that I can enjoy.

I killed your elder brother Feng Bao twice.

I know the Centurion

like the back of my hand.

I'm here for you,

my brother.

I'm so unlucky

whenever I'm with you.

A few months later

Mother,

this house

will be our new home.

Take a look

and tell me if you like it.

I told you

that I would cover everything with leather.

Once I finish this case,

I'll buy a bigger house for you.

Then, I'll lay out the leather

from the door all the way to your bed.

It's so soft.

Humph,

all you do is bragging.

You also told me

that the emperor would come greet me.

Ask him to come.

Who said I was bragging?

Psh.

My greetings to you.

Sit down,

it's fine.

You'll get used to it.

You are all dismissed.

I'm tired.

-Yes. -Yes.

Why haven't you left?

Alright,

stop pretending.

You kept nagging.

I'm about to fall asleep.

Alright,

get up now.

Why are you here?

With such security system,

I can get past it in a second.

Don't blame Feng Bao,

it's really not his fault.

Leave now.

If the Jinyiwei Guards find out...

You are part of Jinyiwei,

have you forgotten?

Are the people outside

doing well?

Don't worry.

All your people

and your fellows

have been taken good care of by me.

Now that you're living in this water cave,

be careful not to get the rheumatoid arthritis.

If you like it,

you can live here too.

Really?

But,

that thing,

you need to leave it outside.

Forget it.

I'll just keep being

the Top Detective in the Capital.

You haven't

gone out in a long time, right?

I'm busy

in the court.

Pei Zhang.

Gan Jing Yi.

Chen Yi Zhuo.

There are so many evil people

waiting for you to deal with.

What's the use of you staying at home

all the time?

Then let's go

and check on the people of Storm Town

on the way.

We can also check

if there are any traitors left.

And I'll take you

to see my world.
