= You Are the Miracle =

= Episode 16 =

At least I am a police oficer.

You should have fundamental faith

in policemen.

Scumbag.

Don't insult this word.

Policemen?

You're so much younger than me.

So, it's because you mind that I'm younger than you.

Xia Tian.

Don't you think that you're too old-fashioned?

Alright. Can we stop talking about this?

Let's talk about something else, okay?

As you like.

Indeed, a lot has happened during this year.

But recently, what has happened to Mengmeng

makes me feel really happy.

She has finally given up on Lin Ze.

And now she is trying to be with someone else.

What?

She's together with whom?

Qi Chengyu.

But they are not together yet.

There's a family dinner

of Bo Rui Group the day after tomorrow.

Mengmeng has promised Qi Chengyu

that she would come.

I suppose it's a good beginning.

Xia Tian.

Let me tell you about this again seriously.

I know that

you've been through a lot in previous love lives.

I also know that

you think I'm young,

you think I have a big mouth.

What makes you feel even stranger is that

I've been missing for a year

and I never told you what I did.

But Xia Tian, don't worry.

I'm absolutely serious with you.

Or I'll be killed by a thunder.

I gotta go now.

Director Qin. I never expected that

Chen Meng and Qi Chengyu are really together.

Maybe we should ask Lin Ze to come back.

Perhaps we should also ask Chen Meng...

What do you think?

I'll deal with it.

I'll arrange an assistant for you.

In case anythings happens to them.

In case anythings happens to them?

So you mean

we can't let them know?

Isn't it too cruel?

The mission has already begun.

We can't go back.

If we give ourselves over to blind emotions own,

we may cause harm to both of them.

I got it.

It's okay.

Just tell me.

There's no need to hide in front of me.

To be honest, I'm a little bit worried.

Siqi used to tell us a month in advance

when she came back.

But this time, she makes everything so mysterious.

And she told use that

she would announce something on our family dinner.

Do you need me to ask her about it?

Look at her.

She has brought a boyfriend with her hurriedly

and mysteriously told us that

she would announce something.

I've already known what it is.

If it's the case,

then we should see if her boyfriend is good enough.

You know Siqi better than me.

She's always under our protection.

She doesn't know what the real society is like.

She's innocent.

Also, she has never been with someone before.

Under such a circumstance,

it's easy for her to be fooled.

I don't think so.

You see. She's not a child anymore.

It's time for her to have a boyfriend.

I think it's a good thing.

But I don't know Qiao Yingze well.

So we should be cautious.

You don't know him well?

You must've

investigated everything about him

before he came back.

For Siqi,

you're really like an elder brother.

You concern about her in every aspects.

I'm glad about it.

But Chengyu,

Siqi is my daughter.

I care about her

as much as you do.

You've done some investigations. I have too.

He has a clean background.

A good job.

And he also

has good behaviors.

Today, you saw it too.

He is very clever.

Siqi is attached to him.

I did a very careful investigation.

To be honest,

there's nothing wrong with him.

But I just feel like there's something wrong.

I just feel like that

Qiao Yingze

is not that simlpe.

Look at you.

You've been too careful over all these years.

I'm the one to blame.

I shouldn't have asked you to risk.

Plus, an accident happened last year.

you should try to be broad-minded.

Let bygones be bygones.

But... But we...

Stop it. Relax a little bit.

Come on.

How are you doing with Mengmeng?

I know that

you've spent a lot of time on her.

We get along pretty well.

Recently,

she is in a great state.

If you really like her,

treat her with your heart.

She's been through a lot since childhood.

I don't want her to get hurt anymore.

Don't worry.

I'm planning on taking her

to our family dinner the day after tomorrow.

Good.

You should just focus on this dinner.

I haven't seen Mengmeng for a long time.

I really miss her.

Here. Mr. Yu.

It's one of the wines I bought this year.

Come on. Have a try.

Dad.

Come.

Yu. This is Siqi.

Can you still recognize her?

Of course.

This guy in front of you is Yu Yang.

He is an entrepreneur.

His business fields including foreign trade, oil,

real estate and energy.

From the evidence we have so far,

he has no connection to the case of auction house.

I've sent her to study abroad.

She's been learning medicine.

I think it's a good profession.

Much better than being a business man.

He is Siqi's...

Well. I'd better let Siqi introduce him to you.

Let me keep it a secret.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Yu.

Mr. Ye has talked about you with Siqi.

It's my pleasure to meet you today.

Lin Ze, you're now like a duck to water.

You're not really gonna be

Mr. Ye's son-in-law?

Come on.

I'm just joking.

I can't believe you retaliated me.

Alright. Keep working.

That guy in purple suit...

- Mr. Qiao. - ...and the guy in tie.

Do you know anything about red wine?

- A little bit. - You can have a chat with them.

Especially the guy on the left. He is Ling Ao.

- The chairman of Ling Bin Group. - How do you think?

He is regarded as the godfather

of the financial industry.

The companies of his group

have just stepped into cultural area.

He shouldn't have been invited.

But they have specially invited him this time,

it looks like that they have frequent connections recently.

Yingze.

Mr. Ling is a big customer of our company.

You two should have a talk.

- Let's go. - Nice to meet you.

- Nice to meet you too. - Let's have a talk

- My pleasure. - with Mr. Yu.

My pleasure.

Even if you have a clever brain, you still have to listen to me.

Chen Meng is in. Keep a close eye on her.

Report to me if anything happens.

Remember. No matter what happens,

keep them safe.

Why wouldn't Director Qin listen to me?

Isn't it easier to tell them both?

If Chen Meng is trying to accept Qi Chengyu,

then at this moment,

it's too dangerous to let her know the existence of Lin Ze.

He is very likely to get exposed.

What if the situation is even worse?

What if Qi Chengyu has already known something

and try to use Chen Meng?

Then we definitely can't let them know.

Only when Chen Meng really believes that Lin Ze is dead

can she has a true reaction towards everything.

Look. Siqi is a young lady now.

She is so beautiful.

- She makes us worry about her. - Actually,

I barely come back to China.

But the reason why I come back this time

is because we have a good economic situation here.

You have a good insight.

I've been investigating this project

- for a long time. - Mr. He.

I think it's a project

- which deserves your investment. - Guys. Guys.

You're all my good friends.

Thank you so much for coming to my house.

My daughter Siqi

has an important thing to announce.

Come here, Siqi.

He is Qiao Yingze.

I met him in the United States.

I was deeply attracted by him the first time I saw him.

For me,

he left his job and came back with me.

I've been thinking about it for a long time.

I've decided that

I'm gonna marry him.

Wait.

Pour the wine on her and take her away.

- Why are you so careless? - I'm sorry.

Take Miss Chen upstairs to change clothes.

We have clean clothes upstairs.

Follow me. This way, please.

This way.

Yingze, do you know her?

No.

Siqi.

You can let Yungze try our desserts.

Okay.

Come on. Let's have a try.

- Come on. - Okay.

Be careful. Watch your step.

Miss Ye really has a good taste.

I heard that Mr. Qiao is a negotiator

He's been living abroad for many years

and he's never come back.

Though he is young,

he has already solved several big cases

on his own.

He's young and promising.

But after being together with Miss Ye,

he chooses to come back.

A negotiator? Living abroad?

Yeah. He's been living abroad.

He just got back a few days ago.

A negotiator?

It's impossible.

Just got back a few days ago?

But he looks exactly like Lin Ze.

How can there be

two people who look like the same in this world?

Miss Chen, maybe you mistake him for someone else.

Let's change your clothes first.

It's impossible.

It's impossible.

Guys.

Thank you for coming to my house tonight.

Cheers.

- Come on. - Cheers.

Bro Chengyu.

My future sister-in-law had interrupted me

before I finished talking,

did she do that on purpose?

Don't you wanna meet

Yingze's colleague?

Aren't you interested in the things

before he met you?

Of course.

But I can know those things in the future.

My sister is just like this.

She is straightforward.

To be honest, you're really great.

I don't know why my sister loves you so much.

I heard that

you used to

work in AIU in the United States.

So I invited this lady.

I think you should know each other.

You may have a lot of common topics.

This lady is from our firm?

I've never met her before.

You don't know her?

That's not possible.

Mrs Samantha

is very famous in your industry.

I've never seen Mr. Qiao.

How do you Chinese describe this?

It's an embarrassing incident.

Qi Chengyu is hard to deal with.

So annoying.

I'd rather have a fight with him.

It requires so much thinking.

I've already prepared that firm's materials.

Where does this foreigner come from?

Is she a fake one?

= Samantha: From AIU Firm. Former Chief Negotiator. =

= She lost an important case because of cheating on her husband. =

How could he find such old materials?

Actually,

I just wanna enliven the atmosphere

by inviting Samantha here.

But I never expected that

you didn't know each other.

I've been working so many years in AIU,

I've never heard of him.

Your name is Qiao Yingze?

It's normal that Samantha doesn't know me.

After all, you're my senior.

At that time, you lost the most important case

and left the firm.

But soon, you started woking on that case

in our opponent's firm.

I was still at school at that time.

I heard all these

from some stories within our industry.

Even after I left the firm,

I still know something about AIU.

I'm afraid this kind of understanding

is from the perspective of its opponent,

but not the perspective of its workers.

AIU won't let its opponents know

what kind of talents it wants.

I know you can understand this.

Besides, as far as I know,

Mrs. Samantha,

you didn't just left the firm.

It was a little shameful, right?

I never expected that

I could hear some gossips from the United States.

But...

You actually would soon

get the case.

Just something unexpected happened.

Your husband suddenly appeared during the negotiation.

And because of your personal reasons,

both sides of the negotiation

lost the basic trusts in AIU.

That's why you lost the case.

I thought Chinese men were polite.

Don't you think it's appropriate

to talk about a lady's private life

in front of so many people?

I'm sorry.

I think today, you are here

as my friend and senior.

Besides, it's a party for friends,

we're just chatting.

If you don't want me to talk about it,

then I would stop talking.

Then stop it.

Mrs Samantha. Don't take it seriously.

I think it may because

you're too outstanding.

That's why people would pay attention

to your domestic affairs.

Whether they're true or not,

your professional acknowledgement

won't be affected.

And I believe that workers

workers in such a big company

won't waste time on gossips.

What do you think?

Of course we won't.

We actually haven't talked about

Mrs Samantha for a long time.

Our firm have people coming and leaving everyday.

Those who can't reach our standards

will soon be replaced.

Everyone is busy.

So we barely have time

to talk about these gossips.

Alright. Let's change a subject.

It doesn't matter

if you really don't know each other.

Who would refuse to meet a new friends?

Qi Chengyu is so hard to deal with.

I just got these gossips.

She married to a Chinese man.

And because she cheated on her husband,

her husband suddenly appeared

in that important negotiation

and tried to discuss personal issues with her,

which caused the failure of negotiation.

And she left after that.

I have to say,

they really protect their privacy well.

That's all I can find.

What's going on?

Chen Meng is downstairs. I can't stop her.

I've already hinted her

a lot of times.

I told her that Qiao Yingze grew up abroad.

And he has never come back.

She has been drinking a lot.

She may be drunk.

Alright. I got it.

Keep a close eye on her.

Got it.

Why it's so sad?

As a police officer, her love life is so miserable.

Right. We only have

several rumors in our firm.

But the story of Mrs Samantha

is different from others.

Tell us.

You're all my friends.

We're just chatting. Don't take it seriously.

After Mrs Samantha was fired,

she hadn't been removed from the list

of this industry.

Instead, she went to work for AIU's opponents,

which means Mr. Stark, AIU's boss,

hasn't put you

into the blacklist of this industry.

He didn't even investigate you for taking away

client information and staged a comeback

I heard that...

Stop it.

This elegant lady,

it's also impolite

to interrupt other people's conversation.

According to what I found out later,

you seem to

have a close relationship

with Mr. Stark's wife's brother.

Mr. Qi.

I think it's disrespectful for you

to invite me to this dinner.

I'm sorry. I had some wine today.

That's why I keep talking.

Let me pour wine for Mrs Samantha as an apology.

Thank you.

Chinese men are broad-minded.

Now that your husband has forgiven you,

it's inappropriate for you

to have other man's smell.

Even though you've worn lots of perfume,

you can't cover the smell of cologne.

You can tell the smell of her.

You're so experienced.

Do I need to question you?

European men love cologne,

which has a significant difference

between Asian men's smell.

You should know that well

since you've been living abroad for so many years.

I smell the disinfectant everyday.

I'm not that sensitive.

Siqi.

Your fiancé is really outstanding.

He has taken on so many big cases

soon after he joined the firm.

Dad, you said that.

He is my fiancé now.

No, you said that.

Alright.

Are you interested in

having a cup of tea in my study?

My pleasure.

Then let's go.

Alright. Alright.

Let's these young people talk.

Please.

We'll leave, too.

Excuse us, bro Chengyu.

Mengmeng, are you alright?

I'm fine. Just a little bit uncomfortable.

I wanna go back.

Let me drive you home.

Mr. Qi.

Mr. Qi.

Mr. Ye wants you to take care of the things here first.

There's definitely something wrong

with Chen Meng's reaction.

Investigate this Qiao Yingze for me.

He seems to be Chen Meng's old friend.

You suspect that...

I suspect that he is Lin Ze.

I thought Lin Ze was...

I got it. I'll do the investigation.

Have you found anything about surveillance

after investigating for such a long time?

Don't tell me that you find nothing.

I'm trying to get the surveillance video of the scene.

Here's the thing.

Give me the video as soon as possible.

As for Samantha,

send her back to the US immediately.

Chen Meng. What are you doing here?

I saw Lin Ze.

What are you doing?

It's Lin Ze.

Lin Ze?

It's him.

You're telling me a ghost story at night?

I'm a police officer. I don't believe this.

You're drunk.

You guys continue catching people.

I gotta go.

You both make me worry.

Get in.

Hurry up.

Director Qin. Got it.

I'll take her with me.

Do you really want me to go home?

My dad will definitely talk with me when I get back.

And bro Chengyu is gonna talk to me about you.

I would be bored to death.

They're doing this for your own good.

Actually, it's okay for me to stay at your place.

My dad is not that old-fashioned.

Besides, he has already said that

you are my fiancé.

After all, we just got back.

You'd better spend more time with them.

We can talk about accommodation

when I know more about

Mr. Ye and bro Chengyu.

So you mean...

You may move into my home

and live together with me?

I got it.

Alright then.

I'll stay at home these days

and won't cause any trouble.

I won't be a drag on us.

I'm leaving.

Alright. Drive carefully.

Bye bye.

Bye bye.

Bye bye.

Stop looking. We're safe.

Director Qin. Qi Chengyu's men are all outside.

How did you get in here?

If I can't even get in here,

then I'm not a qualified police officer.

I heard that you faced lots of dangers.

I suppose you haven't had enough food.

I cooked you instant noodles.

Let's eat together.

Director Qin. I met a guy today.

It seems like that she knows me.

Who's that?

Does she have anything to do with the mission?

I'm not sure.

A woman.

She's about my age.

And she's very close to Qi Chengyu.

It's Chen Meng.

Chen...

She was your classmates at police academy.

Zhu has already told me that.

He said that you two met each other today.

Do you still remember her?

No.

You've got so many classmates at police academy,

it's normal for you to forget her.

Maybe your majors were different.

I didn't remember you were classmates

until Zhu told me about it.

But she seemed strange.

She cried after she saw me.

Everyone thought you were dead.

She must be every excited

to see you come back alive.

If I were her, I would cry too.

I thought

he was different from other men.

I never expected that he could be so irresponsible.

He just left Mengmeng on the street

in the middle of the night.

He is so...

He's so useless.

Right?

I must scold him if he comes here.

But thank you so much today.

If you hadn't been on a mission around that area,

and something happened to Mengmeng...

But... Isn't your mission the most important thing?

Is it okay for you to come here?

The mission is secondary.

You're my priority.

I really saw Lin Ze.

It's him.

Xia Tian. You believe me, right?

It's him.

Chen Meng.

When you miss someone too much,

you would easily have illusions.

Didn't you have an illusion?

No.

That person looks exactly like Lin Ze.

No. He is Lin Ze.

He is Lin Ze.

He is.

What?

Evidence.

Give me some evidences.

Did you take photos of him?

You just said,

he looks like Lin Ze.

There're so many people who look alike.

People always say that

I look like Wu Yanzu, Feng Shaofeng.

They say I look like Huang Xiaoming.

It's too normal. It is.

Xia Tian. Who do you think I look like?

You look like a pig.

But what he said makes sense.

It's possible to see

two people who look like each other.

Many people look alike in the same angles

and they may have the same personality.

Yeah.

This time, you identity is very special.

So you'd better not

contact with your old friends.

As far as I know,

Chen Meng no longer works at Precinct,

And she's now with Qi Chengyu.

We don't know

whose side is she on.

So you'd better keep distance with her.

I know. But she...

Good.

Come on. Tell me.

Tell me something about

Ye Zhongliang and Qi Chengyu.

I think Ye Zhongliang trusts me.

But,

Qi Chengyu still keeps testing me.

But after this dinner,

I believe they will probably stop suspecting me.

If you wanna get into Bo Rui Group

and master its central information,

you need to find ways

to let Ye Zhong bear grudges towards Qi Chengyu.

The more, the better.

But in this way,

Qi Chengyu would hate you more.

You have to be extremely careful.

You're right.

Tonight, Qi Chengyu has already

showed his strong hostility and resentment to me.

If I wanna get into Bo Rui successfully,

I have to start from Ye Zhongliang.
