[The Wolf]

[Episode 6]

As long as the Ma Troop can be saved,

Zhai Xing is willing to give it a try.

Since Ma Princess is willing to take the risk...

I’m part of the Ma Troop too,

I would sure take the risk.

I would lay down my life with you.

Wen Yan.

Give the pills to Princess

to suppress the schizophrenia now.

We will press on with the journey.

Mo Xiao.

Send a homing pigeon to Hai Die.

We will reach the capital by a quarter past noon.

Tell her to get the horses ready at foot of the mountain.

This the path that you said?

Unless one has the skill of a wolf,

a normal human would not be able to get down.

Below this cliff,

head straight,

it would be the capital.

But...

how to get down from here?

As I have said,

this is a dangerous path.

Does it mean...

Your Highness has climbed down from here?

I have not done so.

Then... Your Highness...

Why is...

my head getting heavier?

Must be the pill

Wen Yan gave you

which suppress the schizophrenia

is taking effect now.

How...

How could it be now?

Then...

my Ma Troop...

You won’t be in a coma for long,

don’t worry.

There are times

when I need you to be awake.

I didn’t lie to you.

I have never climbed down from here.

That’s because,

no one can get down from this cliff.

Now that you’re here.

Whether it’s safe or not,

it’s up to heaven to decide.

Master!

Go!

Counter-insurgency now!

Lord Bo is yet to show himself!

Your Highness is not responding too.

Then don’t blame Ma Troop

to go ahead now!

It’s noon,

Attack the city!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Take a blood oath!

For the truth!

Your Highness!

We have reached this stage!

Aren’t we going to shoot the arrow yet?

Are you stupid?

My father in law

is still in the hands of the Ma Troop.

If we were to shoot now,

he is sure to die!

Yes, Your Highness.

It’s my bad to be in a hurry

and neglect it.

Archers, get ready!

For the truth!

Shoot!

All warriors...

Ma Princess is here!

It’s Princess!

Princess! Princess! Princess!

It’s really Princess!

Princess! Princess! Princess!

Princess!

Princess! Princess!

General Feng Cheng.

Ma Jing.

Please rise!

Princess!

Princess!

You are still alive!

Heaven isn’t blind!

Ma Troop swear allegiance to the Princess!

Swear allegiance to the Princess!

Swear allegiance to the Princess!

Swear allegiance to the Princess!

Swear allegiance to the Princess!

Swear allegiance to the Princess!

Swear allegiance to the Princess!

Swear allegiance to the Princess!

General Feng Cheng.

It’s all thank to Wen Yan and Lord Wolf

to save my life in time.

General Ma.

You have a royal heart,

you should not doubt Your Highness.

The case of Ma Castellan

has been ascertained.

It is done by an insider.

That insider is the Prince of Tongzhou,

Gu Qing Ping.

Here is the evidence of him colluding with the enemy.

Princess.

Prince of Tongzhou

really planned it?

This is the Tiger Seal

that is searched from the Prince of Tongzhou.

The tiger seal.

This is true,

He tried to take me away

but I’m lucky to be saved by Lord Bo.

Besides,

The killer who went to Ma Mansion

held the Tiger seal on his hands.

All of these,

are witnessed by my own eyes.

Here comes His Highness!

Your highness.

Ma Feng Cheng.

All you want from me

is to swear, right?

I’m here to swear a blood oath

in front of every warrior here.

I swear.

If the death of General Ma Ying

is caused by my unkindness,

I,

will be punished by God,

deserve to die!

Your majesty!

Zhang Jin.

Let me take the blood oath.

From today!

Ma Troop submit ourselves to the court!

Submit ourselves to your highness!

Submit ourselves to the court!

Submit ourselves to your highness!

Submit ourselves to the court!

Submit ourselves to your highness!

Submit ourselves to the court!

Submit ourselves to your highness!

Submit ourselves to the court!

Submit ourselves to your highness!

Father.

Please watch us from heaven.

Your daughter and Ma Troop

will take revenge

for the whole of Ma family.

Princess.

Come in.

Greetings to you, Princess.

Princess!

What is this for?

For me to be on my knees,

it’s not enough

to repay the hard work of all warriors

who brave their life

to bring their soldier to the capital.

I, Zhai Xing,

thank you on behalf of my late father.

Princess!

Please don’t!

Princess...

If you’re not rising,

I will keep being on my knees too.

Quick! Quick! Quick!

Come!

Please get up.

Princess.

All of these...

are all of our own wills.

In the future,

you do not have to

thank us for this.

We are one big family.

This...

is a ring cake handmade by me.

When I’m unhappy,

I will have a bite of it.

It will take all the troubles away.

Princess.

Please have a try.

Ma Jing!

Princess.

Please excuse my sister.

This sister of mine.

Her martial arts are mediocre

but when she comes to eating,

she is strong in it.

Brother!

She eats everywhere she goes.

Half of Ma Troop’s army rations,

she ate them all.

Brother! You...

Princess.

Don’t worry.

I will take good care of you.

As long as all of you are safe.

To protect Ma Troop.

To protect every one of you.

Are the greatest wishes of my father.

From now on.

All of these

will be my responsibility.

Princess.

Now,

Ma Troop and the court is in bad blood.

Though his majesty says to forgo,

but,

it’s still unpredictable.

In days to come,

to repair the relationships

between Ma Troop and the court

is my aim to work towards.

Princess.

You have placed all of your thoughts

on the Ma Troop.

Can you think more

about yourself?

This time,

it’s not easy for you

to escape the hunt from the King of Jin

and the scheme of Tongzhou’s Young Master.

Right!

Are...

Are...

Are... Are you hurt?

For me to return safely this time,

it’s all thanks for Lord Bo’s help

for several times.

I was able to get away with it.

Speaking of that.

Lord Bo

is my benefactor too.

Princess!

Listen to me!

I have heard from others that

Lord Bo is filled with evil!

He is a ruthless

demon!

So from now on,

If you ever meet him

be sure to keep your distance!

Please remember this!

Along the way,

Although Lord Bo

did not say a single word

to comfort me.

But he forced me to face the reality

and helped me to solve all the difficulties.

Even when

the Young Master of Tongzhou

captured me,

he got hurt to save me.

Brother Feng Cheng!

Ma Jing!

Something came to my mind!

I will head out for now!

Princess!

Princess!

The wound on your body

wasn’t healed yet.

With the hurry on the road,

the wound is opened up again.

Master.

Master.

I have given orders

for them to bring in a basin of ice water.

Apply ice compress on the wound

for at least a timing of one stick of incense.

Please don’t rush for it.

Ok.

You return to the mansion first.

I can handle this myself.

Princess Ma.

How did Your Highness know it was me?

I recognize your footsteps.

What are you doing here?

I came to check on Your Highness,

and I saw a maid at the door

with a pail of water. So I...

It’s not the first time

to see my naked body.

Princess Ma.

Isn’t it too late

for you to be shy now?

That’s because the previous time

my thoughts run wild

and forget the difference between men and women.

How can it be compared to now?

Then this time,

can you leave?

You are injured.

Let me take care of you.

You don’t have to.

Don’t move around!

Sit still!

Sit still!

These are the best medicines

has to go with ice compress

for the effect to work better.

Your Highness is injured.

It’s difficult to self-medicate.

Please don’t reject my kind intention.

Let me repay your kindness.

Have Your Highness

experienced a painful past?

You want to...

test me again...

if I’m the someone you once knew?

I’m over the idea that

you could be Wolfie.

After all,

there are a lot of similar people in the world.

I just feel that

Your Highness is very bearing pain.

These wounds

should be opened

while we were on the road.

But all along the way,

Your Highness showed no sign

of any pain.

But...

How can it not hurt?

As I get hurt frequently...

It became a habit.

Even bearing pain can become a habit.

You must have

experienced

an incredibly sad past

and painful.

May I ask Your Highness,

to teach Zhai Xing how to bear pain?

You’ve been...

Alone all these while.

Bearing...

When schizophrenia kicks in,

you forced yourself to be awake.

For Ma Troop,

you cheered yourself up.

You are strong enough.

You don’t need me to teach you.

Princess Ma.

At this very moment,

you shouldn’t cry.

Tonight,

Your Majesty is hosting a banquet

in the Royal Garden

Generals from your Ma family is invited too.

Thank you, Your Highness.

Zhai Xing understands.

Zhai Xing takes a leave first.

Your Highness.

May from now on,

You and I don’t have to bear the pain.

Truly knows how to act.

Your Majesty has arrived.

Welcome, Your Majesty.

The Dragon and Phoenix Auspicious Cup?

Does your majesty

have anything important to announce?

The last time when the cup is used,

it was the day of my marriage.

Why is it here?

Your Majesty.

Everyone,

please rise.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Sit.

Get in place.

What happened at the city gate today,

no one shall ever speak of it again.

Yes, your majesty.

Great!

I love it!

Sit! Sit! Sit!

Sit!

To the prime minister.

Ma Troop has offended in many areas.

Although his Majesty has forgiven

and not to punish,

but Zhai Xing would take a drink as punishment.

Hope Prime Minister could forgive and forget.

Please do not say so.

I deeply respect

the loyal of Ma General.

Just as Your Majesty said,

a smile for a grudge,

everything is brushed behind.

Zhai Xing.

You can be at peace

sitting here,

is there someone else

that you should be more grateful for?

Yes,

Your Majesty.

Your Highness.

Thank you for your kindness.

You saved my life.

Ma Troop and I

owe you a debt of gratitude.

We will surely repay you someday.

Here’s a toast to you.

You Gui.

Take a look at Princess and Lord Bo.

Isn’t it a good match?

I

would like you to marry Lord Bo

and be my daughter-in-law,

what do you think?

Yes, father.

I feel the same way too.

The man is able and the woman is beautiful.

Besides, Third Brother

has yet to marry.

I, as his elder brother,

am worried about him.

Not too sure what Third Brother

think about this?

Third Brother.

The world is yet peaceful,

my heart is focused on the military affairs

and never thought of getting married.

I’m afraid that

I would neglect Princess Ma.

Father.

What Third Brother has said

is actually a "yes".

Princess.

Please don’t mind.

This son of mine,

he...

is always

busy with military affairs,

lack a sense of romance.

I have heard that

in Kuizhou,

you are picky about

all your suitors.

You won’t do the same

to this son of mine,

Lord Bo,

right?

Your Majesty!

Princess doesn’t mean...

Sit.

I’m not asking you.

The royal marriage

it’s not just about love.

The monarch and his subjects come together

would natural go against

the plans of Jin to drive a wedge between us,

and it also shows

my favor to you

and the loyal of Ma Troop to me.

Princess.

What do you think?

Is there someone else

in your mind?

My Lord Bo is not good enough for you?

Please forgive me, Your Majesty.

There’s no one in Zhai Xing’s mind.

Since it is so,

why are you hesitating?

It’s because the enemy is still out there.

Your Majesty.

Zhai Xing wishes to marry Lord Bo.

But I would like to ask Your Majesty

to allow us to hold the wedding ceremony

only when we take Jin down.

Great!

The marriage of the two of you

I approved that

the ceremony will be held after your wish is granted.

I bind you with a promise to marry Lord Bo.

You and I are one family now.

From now on,

move and stay in the capital.

On behalf of Ma Ying,

I will take good care of you.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Lord Bo.

Shouldn’t you come and thank me

together with Princess?

Thank you, Your Majesty for the promise.

Good!

I’m happy today!

Zhang Jin.

Yes.

Dragon and Phoenix Cup.

Give Lord Bo and Princess Consort of Lord Bo to be

a cup of wine.

Yes, Your Majesty.

After finishing the wine,

the marriage

of both of you is set.

Alright. Alright.

Get up. Get up.

Father gave you wine with the Auspicious Cup

which shows that he values this marriage.

This is a joyous occasion for the royal family.

Congratulations, Third Brother and Princess Ma.

Thank you for your blessing, second brother.

Return to your seats.

Play the joyous music!

Everyone,

I toast a glass to you.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Come.

Fill the cup. Fill the cup.

Another toast.

Good things should be in pairs.

Come on.

Please, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Zhai Xing is not a good drinker,

would like to return for a rest.

Alright.

Alright.

Quick go to rest.

Zhai Xing will leave now.

Lord Bo.

Wolfie.

This is a wedding feast of Xing Er.

I’m sorry.

Xing Er can no longer wait for you.

Today...

Marriage has been granted to me.

Both of us...

destined to meet but not fated to be together.

It’s you?

My father...

ordered me to send you back to your place.

Please.

Let go!

How could you be ugly

but just as ugly as him?

Princess, please be self-respect.

Time to return.

Stop telling me

what I should do

or whom to marry!

I just want to see Wolfie now...

You don’t have his scar!

You don’t have his pureness!

And there’s such a big difference

in status between you and him!

Who allows you to look like him?

Even if you are Lord Bo, so what?

Princess Ma.

Is the person whom

you have mistaken me for,

very important to you?

If he is not important?

Why did you leave a lantern riddle with a character - wolf.

It seems like you still miss him.

Actually,

you are Wolfie.

Right?

Wolfie.

I truly,

truly,

wants to tell you this.

Your existence

to me

is a stumbling block!

I have wanted to kick you aside since long ago!

Human and wolf

could never be together!

Don’t you get it?

In the eyes of others,

you’re just a freak!

Get away from me!

Get lost!

Get lost!

Don’t be silly.

I’m not that Wolfie who you can willfully betray

and hurt.

Whatever you say.

You’re not good enough for me!

Get lost!

Princess!

Princess!

Where are you? Princess!

Princ...

Princess!

Princess!

Princess!

Princess!

Why are you...

Why are you in the water?

Quickly get up!

Are you ok?

Come.

Slowly.

Are you ok?

Why are you in the water?

What has happened?

Wolfie.

Here is the palace,

there is no wolfie here.

Just now...

he was really here.

It’s me to chase him off.

It’s me to chase him off...

Wolfie...

Let’s go.

Let’s go back.

Wolfie...

You’ve left.

It’s a good thing that you left.

If you leave,

you won’t see Xing Er

marry someone else.

I’m sorry to see this, Princess.

Let’s go back and rest.

It’s fine.

Everything is fine, don’t cry.

Wolfie would be happy for you too.

Go back and have a sleep and it will fine.

Let’s go.

Let’s go back.

Let’s go.

Wolfie...

Where is the carriage of mine and Second Prince’s?

Please don’t be angry.

I’ll go and rush them now.

Military Officer.

You are the cousin of the Fourth Prince,

the nephew of the late queen.

Look at the Prime Minister.

He did not give a greeting

as he leaves.

Him...

He is just

the father-in-law of the Second Prince.

But he doesn’t even know that

the son-in-law of his

is just a brat

given birth by a prostitute in Bozhou camp.

Whether or not,

he has the blood of his Majesty,

I’m still doubting it.

Prime Minister.

I didn’t expect that

I’ve come in late

but my carriage is already here.

The horse of Military Officer

has a kind of wildness in it.

It’s normal for it to go on the rampage.

It seems like the horse is like its owner,

rude and impetuous.

Father-in-law.

Forget about it.

Military Officer Yang.

About you teasing that my mother

was a prostitute from the camp.

You don’t get tired of saying that,

but I’ve heard nothing new.

For all these years,

is this the only trick you have?

So little thought for improvement,

even I’m ashamed of you.

Second Prince is of good character,

but I’m afraid for Military Officer

to be as reckless as a horse,

someday the man and horse will throw off their feet.

Prime Minister is speaking too seriously.

For the horse to throw off their feet,

it could be quite difficult to do so.

This horse is from Qitan,

it is a top-notch war-horse.

Not some any crossbreed horse,

or a wild horse of unknown origin.

His blood is pure

just as

the Forth Prince who will return from Qitan

sooner or later.

He is the only son

before the queen passed away.

Nobody can compare to him.

You!

You’re mocking the Second Prince!

I,

will wait wholeheartedly

for the Forth Prince to be back.

Goodbye.

Take care.
