The Legend of Xiao Chuo

Episode 33

What are you doing?

Let go of me.

Your Highness, Your Highness, please take care.

What are you doing?

I'm trying to protect you.

Hunian,

just stay here.

Wait for me.

Yansage, let me out.

I don't want to hate you forever.

Wait for me.

Hunian,

Mingyi and I, one of us will die today.

Who do you want to meet

when the door opens again?

Where is Crown Prince?

Your Majesty,

Taiping King has a cold today.

He didn't want to affect little prince who had just recovered.

He asked me to beg for forgiveness in his stead.

Little prince has recovered from illness.

I am so glad.

I prepared this special banquet

to celebrate with all the royal members.

Cheers!

God bless the Liao Dynasty!

Your Majesty, Your Highness,

this wine is made by Ning King and I.

Specially for today's family dinner.

Zhimo, is it made by you?

Yes, Your Majesty.

Thank you, you are so affectionate.

Let me have a taste.

Go!

Go to kill Xiao Yanyan!

Kill her!

Kill the people who humiliated me!

Your Majesty, cheers!

Your Majesty! Your Majesty!

Your Majesty!

Your Majesty! Your Majesty!

Your Majesty! Your Highness!

Brother!

Call the imperial physician!

Yes, Your Highness!

Hurry up!

Your Majesty!

This wine is poisonous.

It's you! Ning Princess!

Why would King Ning do this?

Was he trying to rebel?

Yeah, it's me.

Go! Come on!

Why did you do that?

You forced me to do it.

All you do is to pray to the Buddha.

You don't want to fight for power.

Then I will do it for you!

Zhimo, Taiping King has promised me.

If I can kill His Majesty and Queen

for him,

he will make you the Prime Minister.

And I will be the Mrs. Prime Minister.

No one will despise us by that time.

You work for Yansage!

Are you crazy?

Am I?

You're the crazy one!

You are His Majesty's own brother!

But guess what?

All these royal members,

they all look down upon you!

Even the lowlife servants dare to

laugh at you behind your back.

They say you're childless and useless.

I'm going to tear them all apart

with my own hands.

I can do anything you want,

but not this one.

No way!

They are right!

You're a good for nothing bum!

I am so stupid

to marry a eunuch like you!

Shut up!

Xiao Dalin, the nephew of Xiao Siwen

Guards!

Mr. Gao Xun,

I've been waiting for you here for a long time.

Xiao Dalin, you can't stop me

with these people.

Kill me!

Release!

Yansage, how dare you!

You were the king slayer!

The throne belongs to me.

My brother raised you.

But you got him killed by a slave.

You should have thought about this

when you killed him.

You colluded with Chage

and killed my family.

You made me watch my whole family

being slaughtered when I was six.

You were too cruel.

You were the ones who outrageous

and lost the support of people.

You think you won't die a violent death

if you take the throne.

Today, you are the ones who will die a violent death.

I will...

Crown Prince.

Crown Prince,

it's not over yet.

Han Derang!

You supposed to be in Youzhou City.

If I didn't do that,

you wouldn't take action boldly.

It's a pity that your master is dying.

Who will you be loyal to in the future?

Crown Prince, I am afraid that...

You'll be disappointed again today.

You're not poisoned.

How can we get you to talk sincerely

if we don't cooperate.

What a big play!

I am the Taiping King!

Do you think this is enough to beat me?

Yelü Xiuge, Zhongfu Family

Yansage, you're going to die!

Today's family dinner

is a gift from His Majesty.

What an unscrupulous servant!

Today, I'll let you know

who is the emperor of Liao.

Kill them!

Come on! Go! Go! Go!

Your Majesty!

Disarm! You won't be killed!

Stand up!

Stand up!

Xiao Dalin, don't play tricks!

Just come here and get killed!

Gao Xun, you are a conspiracy.

You should be punished.

According to His Majesty's order,

you must die!

Come on!

Yelü Xiezhen

Yelü Xiezhen Yansage is in the main chamber.

Yelü Xiezhen

Your Highness, run away from Shangjing City!

His Majesty was prepared.

It's too late if you don't go!

Go back to the palace to pick up the princess.

His Majesty, there's no time!

Pick up the princess!

Let's go!

Hurry up!

Your Highness, hurry up! Come on!

Go!

Thank you, Wuguli.

You're welcome. We're sisters.

I will come if I promise you.

But what you promised me...

Don't worry.

I'll take care of it

when it's over.

How about Yanyan?

What did you do to her?

You were hurt.

I lost.

You lost.

I was tricked by Mingyi, your sister

and Han Derang.

Then why are you back?

Yanyan won't let you go.

I said I'd come back for you.

Let's go together.

Let's go.

We won't fight for the military power

and the throne anymore.

I'll take you around the world.

We can go anywhere.

The military power...

The throne...

I gave up.

Let's go.

Okay. Okay.

I...

I am going to die.

No.

I will take you with me.

I'll treat your wound.

You are not going to die.

Hunian,

you are the one I care about the most.

The Yongxing Palace is yours now.

Gaoliu will help you.

Take this token,

you can command my troops.

Why do you give it to me?

Hunian,

I have you by my side all my life.

I have no regrets.

Remember! There's no kinship in imperial family.

Yanyan has become the ruling queen.

She thinks more about her husband and her son.

You treat her with all your heart.

But she may not treat you the same.

You must keep your troops in our own hands.

With it,

you can have the autonomy.

And won't be slaughtered arbitrarily.

No, please.

Stop it, please.

Stop it.

My dear Hunian,

please forgive me.

I can't stand by you

and protect you

forever.

Yansage.

Kaihuang Gate

Your Majesty.

Bro Han, stand up please.

Your Majesty,

Yansage was shot by the queen.

King Ji has withdrawn his troops and returned to Nanjing.

Gao Xun and Nüli

were executed summarily.

The Yongxing Palace

has withdrawn to truce.

You can rest easy in the future.

Your Majesty,

congratulations to you.

The only reason they make rumors

is to force you

to leave Shangjing City.

Is it too risky for you to do this?

They will act boldly

only when they think they're succeeding.

This is my last troop.

I can't relax

but give it to you.

I won't let you down.

Bro Han,

you never let me down.

It was because of your careful deployment

with the Queen.

So that we could win.

Bro Han,

have you ever stood here

and took a look at the whole city?

This is my first time.

The people in this city

work in the day and rest at night.

They had no idea that

how many soldiers

had died in this civil war.

It will be quiet again

when the sun rises tomorrow.

Like nothing ever happened.

Sometimes I wonder

if this is the price

to preserve the throne.

Your Majesty, you have a kind heart.

It's a blessing for Liao.

In my opinion,

What the soldiers defend

is not the throne of yours

but the kingdom of Liao.

And they believe that

only you

can bring eternal peace to Liao.

Bro Han,

your words always can touch my heart.

You did a great job this time.

It's enough to convince any dissident.

I...

I hope you can stay in Shangjing City.

Your Majesty,

I hope...

You don't have to make a decision right now.

Just think about it.

If you are sure to stay here,

you and I will work together

to create the eternal peace of Liao.

I will respect you

if you insist on leaving.

I have to thank you.

You are the hero of Liao.

You are welcome, Your Majesty.

It is my duty

to assist you in guarding Liao.

It looks like

you have something to say.

Han Derang pretended to leave Shangjing City.

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

You don't trust me, right?

Do you think so?

Then why didn't you tell me?

I never tried to hide it from you.

I was worried.

I was afraid that

Yansage would choose to die together.

So I gave Han Derang

my last troop

just in case.

I didn't tell you about it

because I didn't want you to worry about it any more.

You can trust me.

I should have shared it with you.

We should be glad.

We finally got rid of Yansage.

Yeah, it is.

But after that,

we still have a lot to deal with.

And now,

what are you going to do with King Ji?

King Ji?

I...

I'm going to let him off the hook.

Let him stay in Nanjing

with his wife and children.

I should keep some descendants

from Taizong Family.

You know what?

Hunian's baby is gone.

The King of Yan Palace

Dear.

Have you met father?

You don't have to do this.

I am willing to.

Although I couldn't accompany you to kill the enemy today,

I knew how dangerous is was

just by looking at this armor.

It's good to have you back safely.

I am fine.

Sorry to have worried you.

Dear,

do you remember what you said to me?

What?

You said you would take me out of Shangjing City

when you finished the last thing.

What you did today...

Is it the last thing?

Can we leave here now?

What are you going to do next?

Are you leaving?

Dear,

do you regret it?

You don't want to leave, right?

Si,

I will do what I promised you.

Thank you, my dear.

Your Highness!

You are back!

We'll never be apart again,

okay?

My little cute,

let me give you a hug.

He fell asleep.

Reinstate King Zhao as

the Commander of Han's Army.

Xiuge will take the place of Nüli.

Award Taiping Princess as the Crown Princess.

And take charge of the Yongxing Palace.

Any comments?

Wise decisions, Your Majesty.

We are greatly admired.

You may rise.

Thank you, Your Majesty. Thank you, Your Highness.

Where's Crown Princess?

Your Highness,

Crown Princess is busy with

the funeral of Crown Prince.

She has

a bone to pick with the Queen.

Yansage is dead.

She is a widow now.

Even they are sisters,

the contradiction between them is hard to get rid of.

Crown Prince just passed away. Of course she is going through a lot.

His Majesty and I have to feel for her.

Xiuge,

grant the Crown Prince a Dianyi

according to his title.

Your Majesty and Your Highness, you are merciful.

Your Majesty and Your Highness, you are merciful.
