of our country's history,

From the women's suffrage movement

that won women the right
to vote in elections

to fighting Jim Crow laws

during the Civil Rights movement

to the anti-war demonstrations
of the '70s,

Americans have a rich history
of speaking truth to power.

And we all know real activism
when we see it.
