There's loads of stuff that's gone on,
the history of this place is just immense.

This location is known as the haunted mill and
the paranormal activity here is said to be off the

scale. Now we have spoke to tons of people who
have all witnessed things inside this building.

I'm about to speak to a guy who
works here and get his thoughts on what

he thinks is happening at this location.
Tonight we investigate Weir mill.

Ben, thank you so much for inviting US
here. I've heard so many things about this

place but from someone who works here,
who spends a lot of time in the building,

I really wanna get your thoughts
on what you thinks going on?

Erm... I mean since I've been
here there's been loads of stuff

that's gone on, the history
of this place is just immense.

You've got murders in the car park in the
eighties, there was a prostitute called

Mary that erm... just where the front gate
is there's like a little ginnel there.

Serious?

Erm... that was something to do with what
I was told then, the stockport ripper.

There was like 5 murders around the
eighties that were linked to that same...

Really?

Erm... you've got
the guy that originally

built and owned the
first part of the mill.

Yeah.

His wife hung herself from there's
like a metal bail arm at the top. She hung

herself from that which everyone always
refers to that as the lady in grey because

apparently she was wearing a
grey dress that's the reason why.

Erm... the biggest murder that I know of
is where the ground floor is what I showed

you last time, it used to be the bunk house
for all the kids, all the working kids.

Ok I've heard about this.

Erm... if memory serves me 9 kids that
were murdered plus 2 matrons that were

looking after them and then the guy who
done it then slit his own throat in there.

So it was a guy who murdered them?

Do we have a name for this guy or...?

Off the top of my head I can't
remember but I can find out.

Yeah I mean we do a lot of photos
around the site all the time and

I've got a couple of photos that
like I said to ya, I'll send to ya.

That it has captured 1 or 2
things on it, there is like a...

It's almost like a body of a teenage girl.

Yeah because you can tell
from like there's a, there's

like a bobbed hair but
it's, it's in the shadows.

That what you know is the tyre room.

Right ok that's yeah, yeah.

Back of the tyre room which to be
honest, anyone that goes in there it's

always that room that everyone
says you know, there's something there.

Yeah.

And it doesn't quite feel right.

I mean I've, I have spoke to tons of people about
this place and they all seem to sort of suggest

that the tyre room is the most sort of active
place in the entire, in the entire building.

I cannot wait to investigate this erm...

any evidence that we may capture tonight.

John Collier, a cotton manufacturer built a
mill on this site in 1790 but after a part of it

was destroyed by fire, the mill was bought by
Thomas fernley and rebuilt during the mid 1800's.

Weir mill now lies empty but
it's memories may still remain.

Known as the haunted mill, reports
of paranormal activity have existed for

many years and the mill has become
a hotspot for paranormal investigators.

It is documented that a murder took place
inside the mill many years ago. A man entered

the children's dormitory and killed 9 children
plus 2 women before taking his own life.

A dark entity has been reported
to follow people around the

location, could this be the
tortured soul of the killer?

The stories associated with Weir mill are
fascinating and somewhat terrifying. Supposes satanic

rituals taking place in the location during the
1980's where this so called 7 foot dark entity

has come from and it is known to
follow people around the location.

Now also the fact that there
was a murder in the mill where 9

children were killed and 2 women
and the killer took his own life.

Could this dark entity be feeding
off that negative energy? It is a

location that is gonna really test
the team and I can't wait to get started.

Recently there have been a
number of suicides and attempted

suicides at the mill which has
resulted in an increase in security.

Have these events caused a spike in negative
energy inside the location? Do hauntings truly

exist at Weir mill? Or is there a rational
explanation behind the activity that occurs here?

After hearing so many stories
about the location, becki and

I couldn't wait to start our
pre investigation walk around

but nothing could prepare US for
what was about to occur inside Weir mill.

Ok, so we are just about
to step foot inside the

first section of Weir mill.

Erm... it's a lot creepier than
I thought it was gonna be.

Yeah, definitely.

Tonight we are gonna be split
into different sections and I think

this is gonna be another
investigation that requires lone vigils.

And I think we should all split
into different parts of the mill where

Ben and the other witnesses have
told US that things are happening.

It's absolutely huge isn't it?

Core.

So obviously now this place is
used for airsoft events which is like

a shooting event and even speaking
to some of the guys who do that...

They're witnessing things up
here you know, during their games.

Ok, let's go through.

We are gonna get a lot of
shadows when we're in here.

Well that is one of
the, the main things

that is seen is shadow
figures up here now...

You can imagine things hiding behind.

Yeah.

The, the, whats, what's most
nerve racking about this place is the

reports of the satanic rituals
that happened in the 1980's here.

And this so called 6, 7 foot
figure that follows you around.

Is that supposed to be this section?

That's supposed to be all of this section
so, it's main seen on the upper floor now

this... what's interesting about this is
this figure has been seen by people who have

no connection with each
other, so it's not like stories are

going around and then people
are just imagining this happening.

This is different people at different times who
have never communicated with each other and they

are seeing this, this figure walking around and
there's nothing on the Internet about this either.

I really do not fancy being
the one doing a lone vigil down

here if there's something
supposed to follow you around.

Well this is why we are here, to
find out whether that is the case or not.

So through this section over here we
go upstairs I think and there is floor b

and floor c and on the top floor is
where a lot of activity is said to happen.

Erm... the sound of children has
been heard on these lower floors,

obviously the murder that
happened here, absolutely horrific.

It may be interesting tonight to set
up locked off cameras on each floor, in

these big rooms to document any footsteps
that may occur, any shadow figures.

If we capture a shadow
figure on camera I will

absolutely cry because
it will be the holy grail.

We've also got a lot of all
these sheets that are around

so you can capture any
movement like on the sheets.

Yeah.

That'll be really interesting.

And as you can feel in here
now it's not draughty at all.

Ok, so from here we're
gonna head up to floor b ok?

Yeah.

As we moved up the floors from b to c
it became clear how eerie this location

was but little did we know, we were about
to witness a sudden surge of activity.

Ok, so we are now on one
of the upper floors of Weir mill.

And there is another floor above US and of
course below US is the most active section but

we're gonna go and explore this section now.
It is really, really dark in here it's...

Really creepy Beck.

The word dilapidated comes to mind.

It's a lot darker up here isn't it?

Wow.

That's nerve racking.

Now obviously there was a fire
here as well during the 1800's.

Half of this mill was destroyed.

Countless amounts of people
could have lost their lives.

When that happened. Most recently people
have committed suicide here in this mill.

And it is like a maze in here.

We're gonna have to be
really careful in here tonight

Dan. We're gonna get lost
cos it is actually just a maze.

When people are going off by themselves.

It's huge.

Absolutely huge and it's just, it's
all little like windy little corridors

around things started to get

really, really weird. We were
hearing these banging sounds from

what appeared to be down
the far end of the room but I

actually thought that some of
them were coming from upstairs.

Now when we headed up to that top
floor corridor, nothing could prepare

US for what were about to witness,
it completely took US by surprise.

We have just arrived on the top floor
now where we have heard banging

and I swear the banging was coming
from up here Beck, what do you think?

I know it sounded like
it was in the back of that

room downstairs but I
honestly think it was up from...

Whatever it was, it was bloody loud.

device with US, something that I've been

wanting to try for a long time, it's
come from Andy from infraready.

Fantastic technician, it is the portal that
has been custom designed to suit what we want

it to do which is cut out radio and pump serious
amounts of different types of white noise

into the atmosphere and
I think in a location like

this it could be very
effective what do you think?

I'm really excited to use it, we could
potentially pick up something amazing!

I mean we're already
getting activity. It's still

daylight outside and it's,
we're already getting activity.

becki and I ran out to meet them

and explained exactly what had
just happened during the walk around.

Our aim was to try an map the
apparition that was heard on the top floor

using the sls camera which uses
an infrared laser grid to track figures.

Ok so we have just arrived on the
top floor corridor now with the team.

whatever was up here,

we cut the scene but

What is about to happen is truly amazing.

as a handful of balls are clearly
thrown back at US from an unseen entity.

I had the chill right from the bottom.

Incredible activity had been
witnessed during the walk around

and with the team eager to begin,
we prepared for our lockdown.

For this investigation we would be
using a huge variety of equipment

and also 3 locked off cameras
which would be positioned on floor a

where shadow figures are
often seen as well as reports

of people being followed
by a 7 foot dark entity,

which we were informed, may
have been summoned when

satanic rituals took place at
Weir mill during the 1980's.

Our next camera was on floor c
where earlier, becki and I heard

banging coming from either
the back of the room or upstairs.

Our final camera was placed
on the top floor where we

had heard footsteps and
captured balls being thrown.

I'm really excited for tonight, we've
just arrived, we've heard noises already,

we've had things thrown. There's a lot
of dark things that apparently haunt here

but from what I'm feeling
at the moment, I'm just

really excited to see how
much more we are gonna get.

I'm really excited tonight cos
this location is possibly one

of the biggest locations we've
done in terms of building size.

There's a variety of hauntings here from
demonic to children so I'm really excited to see

what we get. When we first turned up the crew
was waiting outside and they'd already had

noises and bangs so we went upstairs
to investigate straight away to see what

was going on and we actually had children
throwing little airsoft balls at US.

So yeah, I think tonight's
gonna be a really good night.

We have just had a really weird walk
around and if the activity that we get

tonight is anything along those lines then
we're in for a really interesting night.

So after the last awful episode
that they made me got to the

forest, I thought great, we're going
to somewhere a lot nicer today.

Well after that walk
around erm... let's just

say,it should be a very,
very interesting night.

We are about to be locked down
inside Weir mill. Things have already

started happening and right
now a little surprise for the team.

We are gonna be playing a
game of rock, paper, scissors

to decide where you
guys go for your lone vigils.

seriousness let's do this, it's an amazing
location as we've witnessed already.

But guys, lone vigils now, we'll meet
up in a few hours time and then we'll

go and conquer some big stuff.
Guys, this is Weir mill, let's do this.

Our lockdown was underway. Becki
was on floor a armed with a Mel meter

which measures changes in the electro
magnetic field as well as temperature.

Rox was on floor b. She would use
a touch activated ball in an attempt

to draw any activity from the numerous
children known to haunt the mill.

Charlie took floor c. Equipped
with a digital voice recorder.

Emma was on the top floor with
another touch activated ball in hope of

capturing further evidence after what
had occurred during the walk around.

And I took position in the tyre room which is
believed to be the most active area of Weir

mill. I would conduct an sbox session which
is custom designed to stop radio conflict.

It also jams the frequency when it
senses something coming through and

can also record the sessions. It was
time to investigate the haunted mill.

I'm on floor a.

Erm... it's very big.

And it's pretty dark.

And erm...

Got the Mel with me.

Mel meter which...

Measures spikes in emf

and it also has a temperature
Gauge on it so I'm obviously looking for

any spikes in emf

and any major fluctuations in temperature.

So it's looking fairly stable.

At the minute.

I'm not gonna lie, I am
absolutely crapping myself.

Everywhere you look.

There is like something
for something to hide behind.

And you just get this absolute sense,

that there is just things
waiting to jump out at ya.

And I'm trying really, really hard

to not let my imagination

run away with me.

Even though Dan did feel the
need to tell me that this area is where

there is supposedly a very,
very tall figure that has been seen

and likes to follow people around.

I'm not gonna lie, it's not very

nice compared to the rest
of the building, it's quite dark.

how it feel's in this room.

It is just so freaky.

That follows people around.

In a complete state
of panic I flee the tyre

room leaving the
camera as I run to floor a.

What had just come through
the sbox was utterly terrifying

as a man's voice tells
me that the devil is coming.

What is even more mind blowing is that
a disembodied scream is also captured

coming from somewhere in the tyre
room and I did not hear this at the time.

Could this possibly be
a female spirit screaming

and possibly warning me
that the devil is coming?

Could these 2 spirits be referring to the
man who murdered children and women here?

Please, if there is
somebody here, tell me.

Seriously man's voice has
just come through the sbox and

said he's coming, I said who's

After regrouping the team decided
to conduct the remainder of the

investigation as a whole team and so
we decided to head up to the top floor.

Even though Emma experienced no significant
activity up there during her lone vigil,

we still felt it had more to offer after
what had happened during the walk around.

For this session, we would lock off the
thermal imaging camera as well as motion

sensors and use the boo buddy bear in
an attempt to interact with the children

we believe threw the balls
during the walk around.

The boo buddy bear is a highly intelligent
piece of equipment that is fitted

with a temperature Gauge, emf
detector and also a touch activated sensor

that detects any physical
touch on the bear.

It is also armed with a range of
questions that it calls out and so we

left a digital voice recorder next
to it in hope of capturing any evp.

We would also be using the paranormal
puck 2, which is an instrumental

trans communication device which
can bring through intelligent responses

when it detects certain
changes in the atmosphere

such as energy, emf
and barometric pressure.

Ok so we are back upstairs now
in this top room where earlier today

we were hearing children during
the pre investigation walk around

and of course where the small
pellets were thrown in this corner.

We are armed with the paranormal
puck 2 device which is over

here. We're gonna ask questions
and see if anything comes through.

Down the corridor we have a
thermal imaging camera, pointing down

towards the boo buddy bear which
has a digital voice recorder next to it

and in the far back room we have a
motion sensor, monitoring the entire room.

We're all set up, we're ready
Togo. Guys, Weir mill, scary as hell

So the last part of the night really
was amazing. When we first obviously

entered the location we had a lot
of playful behaviour on the corridor

which then towards the end of the night
turned a lot more intense and negative.

The feeling was awful, Danny got touched
which was validated through the puck.

It was just so intense to
witness how much was going on

and obviously to catch the
evp's as well which we didn't

realise at the time, it just
makes the whole thing amazing.

What happened on that top floor
will stay with me for the rest of my life.

up through the paranormal

to expect and you have to prepare

The activity was off the
