Congresswoman Omar is an America-hating Socialist.

As you know, for many years,

leaders in Washington brought large numbers

of refugees to your state from Somalia,

without considering the impact

on schools and communities, and taxpayers.

I promise you that as president,

I would give local communities a greater say

in refugee policy and put in place enhanced vetting

and responsible immigration reform.

Every morning,

at each one of these International Bridges,

you'll see a line of people

coming to seek asylum in the United States,

because this is the formal international border.

So, the tents that you see here are people, asylum seekers,

that have been waiting about a couple of weeks

to be able to go up the bridge

and be allowed in to formally request asylum

from the immigration officials at the bridge.

And God only knows how much longer they're gonna be here,

because they're not even being allowed

to go in to request asylum.

There was a process

that worked for decades.

We incorporated these immigrants.

We made them part of our communities.

And they made a life there.

And that's what these people are looking for.

They're looking to make a life there.

I served the army five years,

and I do get scared.

I know what's out there.
