The Legend of Chusen

Episode 28

This Qing Yun disciple worked in cahoots with the Ghost King Sect

and led the enemy to us!

He worked from the inside to join the demon sect on the outside!

Don't believe him!

Do you still remember your Young Fortress Master?

-Young Fortress Master?-Sitou Xiao?

You caused the Old Fortress Master to die, and confined the Young Fortress Master Sitou Xiao!

You bred demonic creatures underground. The heavens cannot spare you!

The Young Fortress Master has been dead for many years.

The Ghost King Sect is best at altering faces.

They changed someone else into the Young Fortress Master to sway all of you!

If you don't believe me, I'll prove it to you!

-Young Fortress Master?-Young Fortress Master?

-What's going on?-Yes, yes.

Do you feel like this is your Young Fortress Master?

-Yes.-Yes!

It's a fake.

Who is this?

-Who is this?-What's going on?

Do you see things clearly now? Is he your Young Fortress Master?

-No!-No!

Take him away.

Everyone, a Qing Yun disciple

worked in cahoots with the Ghost King Sect to have someone impersonate the Young Fortress Master.

So everyone,

if you see that same face again, you must let us know immediately!

I understand how you all feel.

The real Young Fortress Master has been dead for many years.

The past is the past. The only thing we can do now,

is to fulfill the Old Fortress Master's wish!

Protect our Ding Hai Fortress!

-Yes!-Yes!

-Kill him!-Get lost!

-Get lost! -Kill him!

-Get lost!-Kill him!

Isn't that the Young Fortress Master?

He's finally come. I've waited until now.

Keep an eye on Lin Jing Yu! Don't let him escape!

Who was it? Who summoned me?

It's been so many years since you killed me! I didn't think

that someone would still summon me from the depths below!

What demonic creature are you? Show yourself!

Yu Yangzi! You criminal!

You stole my mountain fortress and killed my family!

And used a devastating tsunami

to kill so many innocent people!

I hate you so much, I want to rip you to shreds!

Yu Yangzi! You won't die an easy death!

If you want my life, I'm afraid it won't be that easy!

Yu Yangzi!

Don't run!

Da Zhu! Da Zhu! Last time, when we went out to the ocean together,

you fell into the ocean trying to catch a fish!

I was the one who saved you! Do you still remember?

-I remember, I remember! Young Fortress Master, you didn't die?-Yes!

-Everyone, stop running! The Young Fortress Master isn't dead!-It really is the Young Fortress Master!

Yes, I didn't die. It really is me!

Yu Yangzi! You despicable criminal!

Kick them out and get back my mountain fortress!

Yes! Hit them!

Beat them to death! Beat them!

Beat them to death!

-Beat them to death!-Let's go!

He just got hit by some poisonous gas. It's not a big deal.

Is it really not a big deal?

Xiao Fan, are you okay?

I'm okay.

Unfortunately, we let Yu Yangzi run away.

Young Fortress Master Sitou has already gotten back the mountain fortress.

You don't need to worry anymore.

But that blood worm...

Yu Yangzi is seriously injured.

And the blood worm is gone too.

I think the other disciples of the Long Life Sect took it away.

Go back and rest first. Let me take care of Xiao Fan.

What did you say?

If anything happens to him, I'll be here.

I don't need you all to worry.

That's great. Since Sitou Xiao has gotten the mountain fortress back, and you two are fine,

Bi Yao, let's go.

Bi Yao!

Xiao Fan.

I let them go because I don't want to be dragged into the Ghost King Residence's matters anymore.

If Senior Brother Xiao finds out, we'll be in trouble.

I understand.

I'm just thinking...I'm thinking about that blood worm.

I think I saw it somewhere before.

Red eyes...

Where have I seen them before?

It wasn't just one time either.

I remember!

This blood worm...

is the same as the one kept by Boss Nian and Poison God.

You guessed it too?

Yu Yangzi's blood worm has a connection with the Best God's blood.

This matter has to do with our sect's safety. It cannot be mentioned to others.

That will just create trouble.

You care so much about them, but I think that Lin Jing Yu doesn't appreciate it very much.

As for that Zhang Xiao Fan, he may not

give you the Ding Hai Fortress Heaven Book to you out of gratefulness.

Don't forget, they still belong to Qing Yun in the end.

Teacher! You swallowed the blood worm?

Teacher!

Teacher!

Thank you for getting rid of that criminal for me

and getting the mountain fortress back. Even if my body breaks into a million pieces,

I have no way of repaying you all. On behalf of my people,

thank you for all your help!

Helping those in trouble is what Qing Yun should do.

That's right. You don't need to be so courteous.

The Qing Yun sect is so cavalier. It looks like you don't want repayment.

Then Young Fortress Master, you can let us borrow the Ding Hai Pearl.

Once we're done with it, we will definitely return it to you.

I won't keep it from you. I don't know where the Ding Hai Pearl is either.

Young Fortress Master is quite scheming. Looks like the words you said before

were just a joke.

Big Brother, stop asking. He already said so before.

He's been locked away for so long. It's hard for him to suddenly remember where the Ding Hai Pearl is.

Then where did he put the Ding Hai Pearl before confinement?

I think he's just hiding the answer on purpose.

Azure Dragon!

Don't be too arrogant!

Our matters haven't been fully accounted for yet!

Account for what?

Account for the fact that you righteous disciples used our Ghost King Sect to defeat Yu Yangzi?

To account for the fact that at the Thousand Bat Ancient Cave,

you caused Xiao Fan to be hit by evil power, and almost died!

Lin Jing Yu!

Enough, don't fight!

Jing Yu. Let's talk about my matters when we go back.

Bi Yao. The Young Fortress Master's injuries just healed. He has to restore the mountain fortress too.

Even if he has to find the Ding Hai Pearl, can we let him rest for a few days?

You-! Are you blaming me for forcing him?

That's not what I mean.

Even if we can't find out where the Ding Hai Pearl is,

we will still help the Young Fortress Master. You of the demon sect are not allowed to interfere!

Based on your ability?

Everyone calm down, please do not fight.

It's logical to express my gratitude with the Ding Hai Pearl.

I will go look for it right now.

Then after you find it, who will you give it to?

I will give it to them.

I believe that everyone will think of a way then.

That Yu Yangzi didn't come back. He probably also guessed

that as long as he runs off, we could possibly start war with the Ghost King Sect.

This way, he can just sit back and reap the benefits.

Even if it goes as he predicts,

we have to hurry and find the Ding Hai Pearl.

I wish that we'd never find it.

This way, I don't have to be enemies with Bi Yao.

You've thought of things too simply.

The Ghost King couldn't possibly let go of the Heaven Book.

Xiao Fan,

if after Sitou Xiao finds the Ding Hai pearl,

he gives it to you and Bi Yao,

and Bi Yao asks you for it, would you give it to her?

Of course not.

Don't worry.

When have I ever mixed up human emotions and the big picture?

I believe in you.

But every time I think of Blood Drop Cave,

that moment when the Beast God was revived,

and let out that frightful power that could swallow the entire world,

Every time I recall it, I tremble with fear.

I remember it too.

But I believe that Bi Yao doesn't want her father to get the Heaven Book either

and revive the Beast God.

I hope it is as you say.

I believe in her.

Timing & subitles brought to you by Gone with the Shirt Team@Viki

Bi Yao. Because of the two of them,

you've been continuously tolerating them. How are we supposed to do anything?

Let's not first talk about how you keep on siding with them.

If anything goes wrong,

how are You Yi and I to explain to your father?

Big Brother Azure Dragon, I'm sorry.

But Zhang Xiao Fan and the others have helped me many times!

Zhang Xiao Fan has said something that is very right!

Human hearts don't differentiate between righteous and demon, only good and evil.

So? Because of those words,

you believe that the righteous sect can stand on our side?

That we can coexist with them?

Bi Yao. You've always been stubborn.

Whatever you've decided on, no one can persuade you to do otherwise, I know.

But what I'm worried about now is something else!

You've fallen for Zhang Xiao Fan, right?

N-no, Big Brother Azure Dragon!

Don't think nonsense!

Zh-zhang Xiao Fan and the others just saved me many times!

I owe them!

You want to return the favor?

Shouldn't you want to

keep him from danger after he takes out the Heaven Book?

If you want to repay him, shouldn't it be to make him leave you,

the farther the better so he wouldn't be dragged in again?

Bi Yao. Do you still remember why your mother died?

When your father was secluded away to recover from his injuries, we peacefully guarded Hu Xi Mountain.

Why would we be attacked by all the righteous sects?

Hearts don't differentiate between righteous and demonic.

Then our disciples and family members,

why did over half of them die?

And eventually suffered further misfortunes from the Lie Xie Sect

and caused your mother to die an innocent death?

How does that saying goes?

Do you still remember?

If you don't kill others,

others will come kill you.

Your father works so hard to find the Heaven Book and expand the Ghost King Sect

because he doesn't want such tragedy to occur again!

Bi Yao. You value past emotions.

But the Qing Yun Sect won't.

In their eyes, you will forever be a demon girl of the demon sect.

About the Ding Hai Pearl,

think over it yourself.

Teacher!

How are you feeling?

The serious injury made my cultivation

decrease by over half.

I had to swallow the blood worm to replenish my inner power.

But this blood worm has very evil character to begin with.

We must hurry back

and find the Heaven Book to merge its strength with this one.

Only then can we control this.

Or else,

I'm afraid the blood worms will control me!

The spy left in the mountain fortress just sent a message

that Sitou Xiao still hasn't found the Ding Hai Pearl.

But, the Qing Yun Sect and the Ghost King Sect are about to start fighting.

It is as I thought.

Keep an eye on Sitou Xiao.

-Let's rush back!-Yes!

I took my heart

and put it inside.

If you take this, we will forever

be together.

I remember!

The Ding Hai Pearl is in the jewelry piece I gave Yunshu.

I just don't know where Yunshu put it.

I think it'd be best for you to not look for it.

If I don't find it, Yu Yangzi is gone,

there will still be others who will try to get it.

As the days pass like that,

the Ding Hai Fortress will never have peace.

We have no way to predict what will happen in the future.

But if it happens, we must go face it.

You're right.

But where would Yunshu hide this Ding Hai Pearl?

It definitely isn't with her.

Yun Yangzi definitely searched all those in the fortress.

I think...it must be hidden in a secret place.

It probably isn't here.

If I was Yu Yangzi,

I would have thoroughly searched this Swallow Corner multiple times already.

Yunshu is smart.

She definitely wouldn't let Yu Yangzi find it so easily.

Just...where could it be hidden?

The most dangerous place

is the safest place.

I think it is hidden in a place that Yu Yangzi sees every day

but wouldn't be suspicious of.

You're right.

Yu Yangzi definitely wouldn't have people search his own room.

It's this!

Since you found this pearl,

I'll give it to you.

You'll be in charge of deciding everything in the future.

This..wouldn't be too good, right?

No matter who gets this pearl,

it will lead to troubles.

Brother Xiao Fan, stop pushing it away.

I trust that only you

can properly deal with this matter.

That Yu Yangzi is despicable.

He used an enchantment to confine me!

Jing Yu, thankfully you came to save me.

It's just that the matter isn't very clear yet.

Yu Yangzi also has a wolf heart.

He will definitely come back.

You are right, Senior Brother.

This Yu Yangzi is set on obtaining the Ding Hai Pearl.

He planned for so long.

He definitely wouldn't give up so easily.

What we need to do next is find Xiao Fan

and see what arrangements he has made.

Jing Yu. On this journey,

I've seen what you and Xiao Fan have done.

That you two almost died this time,

it's all because of that demon girl Bi Yao!

Righteous and demons cannot stand on the same side.

If you let me find out that you still have connections to her,

then don't blame me

for ignoring the fact that we are from the same sect

and reporting to the sect at once.

As the Discipline Committee's lead disciple,

you should know how serious matters are.

Senior Brother. It was an emergency then.

Xiao Fan had to cooperate with the Ghost King Sect's people

and fight our strong enemies together.

Yu Yangzi is defeated now.

Xiao Fan won't have any connections to them anymore.

No matter how I think about it,

there's only one way.

You mean...the Ding Hai Pearl?

If we can bring the Ding Hai Pearl back,

then we have made up for our wrongs.

Xiao Fan is closer to you.

He may not listen to my words.

Only you can persuade him

to leave that demon girl and return to the righteous path.

Bi Yao!

Righteous and demon cannot stand on the same side. Just say what you want to say.

I don't want you to have no way to explain in front of your sect.

You've already said that righteous and evil cannot stand on the same side many times.

It's your Lin Jing Yu that says it every day.

Do you think I want to say it?

I called you here to give you something.

You...you found it?

Then can you really give it to me?

This thing originally belonged to you.

What? You don't want it?

Then just give it to me.

Where did you get this?

From Yu Yangzi.

Then...what about the Ding Hai Pearl?

You got it, right?

How did you know?

You don't know how to lie.

If you don't say anything, that means you got it!

I'm sorry, I...

I cannot give you the Heaven Book.

Why do you think I want that?

It's just to draw out the Heaven Book inside your body!

I spent so much effort. For this matter,

my father and Big Brother Azure Dragon scolded me!

I'm sorry, Bi Yao.

I cannot take a step back on this issue.

I can discuss anything else with you.

But I definitely cannot give you the Heaven Book.

Why?

Because your father wants to use it to revive the Beast God.

Then...can you even give up your life?

Give me the Ding Hai Pearl!

Xiao Fan!

Demon girl! Let go of my junior brother!

Hand it over! Hurry!

Give it to me!

He found the Ding Hai Pearl?

I won't give it to you.

I already said that he wouldn't give it to you.

Xiao Fan, are you okay?

Demon girls are heartless in the end!

I should give this to you.

Don't give it to anyone anymore.

Since you don't want it, this object

cannot fall in criminal hands.

How about...

we destroy it?

Yunshu.

When you were by my side,

we couldn't be together.

But when we can be together,

you're not here anymore.

I don't know where you came from.

But I know

that you definitely went to your hometown.

Even though you never told me,

but I know!

in your heart, you definitely blamed me!

You blamed me for not running away with you!

But I couldn't do that.

Ding Hai Fortress,

is my responsibility!

Let this

find you in my place.

No matter if it actually can,

reach you.

Timing & subitles brought to you by Gone with the Shirt Team@Viki

It was so easy to get this!

Heaven Book?

Heaven-!

Jing Yu!

-How are you doing?-I'm okay.

Why did we suddenly lose power?

It should be the Heaven Book. They should have found the Heaven Book!

The thing that lit up just now is definitely the Heaven Book.

The Heaven Book should be inside this fortress.

Let's go!

Why have I lost all power?

Teacher!

I don't know why, but all magic power cannot be used inside the fortress!

So those who left the Heaven Book still left one more hurdle.

Okay. Since it's like this,

I will play with you until the end.

Have you seen Jing Yu and Xiao Fan?

How would I know?

I don't know what magic that Yu Yangzi used.

Let's find them first.

Stop running! Don't run!

Stop!

What is going on?

The aligning of the seven stars. The Heaven Book that you were searching has now been found by Yu Yang Zi.

Why didn't you say earlier that if the Heaven Book appears, a no magic/technique zone will appear?

I didn't know either!

People from Ding Hai Fortress don't know magic!

It looks like they haven't obtained the Heaven Book yet.

He knows we're in the mountain fortress.

If he succeeds, he'd leave immediately

to avoid creating more trouble.

And also, the no magic zone is still present.

He must be blocked by something.

We still have a chance. Let's go!

Upon the appearance of the Heaven Book, magic or technique use was immediately blocked throughout the fortress.

I think it's an enchantment those who left the Heaven Book behind set.

To keep people from easily obtaining it.

It looks like only the successor to the Ding Hai Fortress

can use the Ding Hai pearl to open this Shooting Stars Lake.

Then let's hurry and find Sitou Xiao!

That stubborn Sitou Xiao.

After seven years of confinement, he still didn't hand over the Ding Hai Pearl.

What's the use of capturing him?

I've already thought of something.

If we cannot take the Heaven Book with us,

let's stay here to breed blood worms.

Let's use the Ding Hai Pearl to borrow the Heaven Book's power

Activate our sect's Tai Yin Xue Formation (Very Evil Blood Formation).

Let's try to re-converge the power of the blood worm

and strengthen our powers. Hurry and give the orders.

-Yes!-Wait!

There are many cultivating people in the mountain fortress.

If we capture one of them,

we can lure the others here.

And then we can suck out all their blood all at once!

Bi Yao!

Let's go!

Wait!

Look at those soldiers' eyes.

They're red.

At Yudu,

those who were poisoned also had red eyes.

If they release those blood worms,

the people around the fortress will be in danger.

We cannot act rashly.

Yu Yangzi, I won't let you get the Heaven Book!

After I finish my body's transformation,

getting the Heaven Book will be easy!

After twelve hours,

I'll use your life to sacrifice to my blood worms!

So you want to use the Beast God's blood to do wicked magic?

But, you saw what happened to Elder Blackheart and Boss Nian!

The same will happen to you!

Is that so?

We should see what will happen to you all first!

Zhang Xiao Fan! Lin Jing Yu!

Azure Dragon! Listen up!

I know you're all inside the fortress!

If you don't appear before tomorrow at noon,

I will use Bi Yao's blood

as an offering to this Tai Yin Xue Formation.

Xiao Fan, is that you?

Or is it my dream?

Xiao Fan, don't come here! It's a trap!

Xiao Fan!

Xiao Fan!

Between a Qing Yun disciple and demon sect demon girl,

this situation of dying and living together,

-is so touching.-Xiao Fan!

Value your limited time and accompany one another.
