The Legend of Chusen

Episode 26

You don't need to chase after him!

This guy is very cunning. If not because I've raised my guard against him,

we would have fallen for his trap.

This was our mistake.

Never thought he will pretend to be caught and come here to blindside us.

It's okay. I have to thank you three.

I must ask that you stay here for now.

I've already left guards. Right now, the Ghost King Sect

definitely will not rashly act again.

Why does he have Bi Yao?

Yu Yang Zi wants something from the Ghost King.

What could it be?

No matter what he wants,

there's one thing we know for sure.

This person has a lot of plots.

It looks like it's not like what Yu Yang Zi said, that he left the evil sect long ago.

He seems to be not a good person.

It looks like this Ding Hai Mountain Fortress

is not as simple as we thought either.

There must be an underlying plan.

But right now, we can only take it in stride.

Yu Yang Zi has an ulterior motive.

He must have his focus set on something the Ghost King Sect has.

Do you remember? Previously he said

that the Ding Hai Mountain Fortress doesn't have what the Ghost King Sect wants.

But now he doesn't want the Ghost King to retreat

but wants him to bring something to exchange instead.

Just what could it be

that's more important than the Heaven Book?

Forget it.

Before things are clear, we shouldn't rashly guess.

This matter has a deep connection with the evil sect.

You must not make rash moves.

I don't care what relationship you two had with that Bi Yao before.

Now that we are facing the enemy, you cannot be weak anymore.

Nor can you mix good and evil together.

The last time I saw your father,

I remember it was still at the Savage Holy Palace.

In that year there were many battles and people leaving.

Ten Thousand Poison Sect, He Hwan Sect, they left.

Boss Nian submitted the written war challenge to the gathering altar.

I once persuaded your father

Lie Xie Sect is like the sun at midday.

Rather than facing them head on, why not avoid them first?

Your father was too confident.

But he can't be blamed.

After all, in so many years,

we only had three amazing people.

An excessively powerful person usually is obstinate and stubborn.

You know what happened afterwards too.

In order to protect ourselves, my Long Life Sect had to escape.

To be honest, I didn't want to leave.

What use is saying this now?

I just want to tell you

that we need a leader.

That's not bad. But the supposed leader

doesn't have to be very strong.

Instead, he must win the support of everyone with benevolence.

My Long Life Sect are moved with soft gestures and not by force.

If you are to force me, I will never submit.

Actually, I don't want to be enemies with the Ghost King Sect.

Do you know what happened after your sect left the headquarters?

The righteous sect surrounded Hu Qi Mountain. Boss Nian pursued my mother and I.

He wanted to take us hostage to threaten my father. Do you think he came?

I'm telling you. He didn't come save me.

This time, he won't come either!

He will only send people to attack Ding Hai Mountain Fortress.

To kill you, and get revenge for his daughter!

It depends on the situation. He was young then.

And now, he might not ignore the father daughter relationship.

How about this? Write a letter to the Ghost King.

Tell him, to take the Beast God's blood

and the Heaven Book from the Thousand Bat Ancient Cave and hand them over.

And then have his soldiers retreat. Then I'll let you go.

In your dreams!

Already in a desperate plight yet you still think of something that doesn't belong to you.

Careful that you'll die a horrible death.

Young lady, don't go too far with your words.

We have time.

Think over it.

You'd better think it over quickly.

If you continue being stubborn,

don't blame me for being heartless!

Find a secretive person to give her food.

-Don't let her die.-Yes.

Bi Yao has a fiery temper.

What if Yu Yang Zi captured her as a hostage?

Then what do we do?

No, I must go save her!

Stop right there!

Saving her right below Yu Yang Zi's eyes?

Do you want to die?

I have to save her even if I die!

We shouldn't have brought her here.

She must have been captured while leaving.

It's useless to say those things now.

We must save her, but we can't do it openly.

If Senior Brother Xiao finds out, you can think about the consequences.

The security here is very tight and we also don't know where she is being held.

We cannot act rashly.

You're right, I was too much in a rush.

Don't panic. To threaten the Ghost King, Yu Yang Zi

won't hurt Bi Yao for now.

I'm just afraid they'll torture Bi Yao.

If she's tortured, Bi Yao won't be able to take it.

How about this? When night falls, we'll cover our faces and go in.

No matter what, we must save Bi Yao!

Have you forgotten? Besides us,

there are others that want to save her.

He almost died twice.

Even if Yu Yang Zi was more stupid, he'd put all the enchantments in the world to wait for us.

Are you being serious?

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Last time I teased Bi Yao for cooperating with you at Yudu.

I didn't think that there would be a day

when even I would have to ally with Qing Yun disciples.

Who's allying with you?

We are only in charge of getting news. You're in charge of saving her.

Do you not want to know

what Yu Yang Zi wants to use Bi Yao to exchange for?

So you also know that what he wants,

the Ghost King cannot hand over. It's not that he doesn't want to save her,

but it's because he simply doesn't have that object.

If Yu Yang Zi will go on an act of desperation,

I'm afraid Bi Yao will...

Who cares what he wants?

Just think of a way to save Bi Yao!

Okay! We'll help you save Bi Yao.

Should we put some ash on our face?

The mountain fortress disciples have seen us before.

Would just a change of outfits get us through?

Ash is a bit too purposeful.

As long as we fly under the radar,

and avoid people's eyes and ears, no one will discover us.

Even if someone discovers us,

based on our ability, are you afraid we can't save Bi Yao?

What's wrong, Jing Yu? What are you worried about?

I just feel like

Qing Long is keeping something from us.

Why do you say that?

The Ghost King knows you have the Heaven Book.

If Yu Yang Zi wanted to use Bi Yao

to get the Heaven Book from the Ghost King,

then he could just retreat his soldiers

and tell Yu Yang Zi that the Heaven Book is with you!

Why make such a big fuss?

So, besides suspecting Qing Long's words,

Yu Yang Zi must have another request.

Also, the Ghost King must have another motive.

You're saying that the Ghost King Sect wants to use another's knife to kill someone, and use us to save Bi Yao?

But...even if we know we're being used,

we cannot ignore Bi Yao.

I know.

So we must be extra careful and save Bi Yao.

Also, if the Long Life Sect people discover us,

we'll run immediately.

We'll give them a "the dead give no evidence", right?

Don't worry. Think about it.

We even broke through Bi Huo Tian Ice River's Lie Xie Sect.

We even beat Kong San Mountain's Thousand Poison Sect.

We will definitely have no problem with this Long Life Sect.

No problems!

Timing & subitles brought to you by Gone with the Shirt Team@Viki

Hurry up.

Who are you?

Don't think of playing tricks!

Just answer the sect leader first and we can have a good answer for him.

Let's go.

Help! Put out the fire!

Fire!

Hurry up! This way!

Come! Come here! Put out the fire!

Hurry up! Come this way!

Watch that girl.

-Don't fall for the plan to draw us away.-Yes!

Xiao Fan!

Xiao Fan!

Xiao Fan!

The sect leader knew you would play tricks.

Just stay right here!

Who are you? What is this place?

My name is Sitou Xiao. I'm the young sect leader of this place.

Who are you?

They've gone. Let's run in!

No. If we want to go in again, it'll be harder.

I was put in here when I was 21 years old.

I don't see the moon or sun, nor do I know what day or year it is now.

It's only because you came today that I learned

that more than 7 years have already passed.

Ding Hai Mountain Fortress is full of people from the Long Life Sect now.

I think they really think I've died.

Miss. Have you seen this before?

What is that?

This is what is below the water.

The demonic object the Long Life Sect created.

It's called blood bug.

It can suck out any living creature's fresh blood.

and change to several unique forms.

It's like the tarsal bone's maggots.

If you touch it,

besides killing it,

or else, it'll be very hard to escape it.

Thankfully you haven't touched it yet.

This object cannot see light.

And it has no sense of smell at all.

It fully depends on the floor's vibrations

to know which direction to go.

Miss, can you see the talisman character there?

Go over slowly. You must tread lightly.

Do not let out any vibrations.

And then?

The talisman of the Long Life Sect can only allow entrance by not exit.

But you can try knocking on the wall

to let the blood bugs attack the talisman.

and have Yu Yang Zi open the door and trick him to come in!

This way, you might be able to leave.

Okay. I'll give it a try. Thank you!

Miss!

After you leave,

find a girl called Yun Shu for me.

She's a mute girl.

It's been so many years. She might have already left.

She's still here! She's in this mountain fortress.

Miss, do not wait.

You must...be careful!

After I leave, I'll think of a way to save you!

Yu Yang Zi, you bastard!

Stay right here.

It was quite chaotic last night but there was no change in guards here.

There must be a problem.

Make your move.

Young heroes, when did you enter my Long Life Sect?

It's really unimaginable!

Hurry and hand Bi Yao over! Or else, don't blame us for not being courteous!

You should worry about yourselves first!

The righteous sects collaborate with a evil sect demon girl?

If this gets out, what would happen to Qing Yun's face?

Don't worry, I've already given you the antidote.

It might have gotten too deep into him. He'll wake up soon.

You can talk?

What is this place?

Sparrow Peak.

Seven years ago, this was where Ding Hai Mountain Village's true master, Sitou Xiao lived.

Don't move!

The more you resist, the faster the blood aura will flow!

The blood bugs will absorb faster!

Yu Yang Zi, that bastard! He keeps these sort of evil objects?

He'll get karma eventually!

You...you've been trapped by the blood bugs for so many years.

Why are you still alive?

Yu Yang Zi still hasn't gotten what he wants from me.

Naturally he won't let me die so soon.

Every few days, he'll give me medicine.

He wants me to suffer this blood bug's pain every day.

Living like hell!

The me now,

is just living on one last breath.

Then what is your relationship with Yun Shu?

This...

This must start from seven years ago.

That year, Brother Xiao was to get married.

Yun Shu.

I know you're inside. No matter what,

I have something to tell you.

I don't want to forsake you.

But I cannot run away with you either.

I also want to give up everything here.

And take you to a

place with just you and me.

But I can't!

Father is so ill he is about to die!

He's always hoped for me to get married.

I cannot watch him

fail to see his final wish come true!

Nor can I abandon the citizens here!

Yun Shu.

I'm sorry.

What I owe you,

I will return in the next life!

The auspicious hour has come.

When did Yu Yang Zi come?

Ten years ago, he came to the mountain fortress

to help treat my father's illness.

I didn't think

that year when the Long Life sect left the headquarters,

they hid in a place like this.

My late father had been sick for many years.

He trusted deeply in Yu Yang Zi's long life technique.

But I didn't think that

even the mountain fortress would fall into his hands!

After the tsunami that day, the old fortress master died from his illness.

Brother Xiao went missing.

Yu Yang Zi pretended to help the tsunami victims.

Based on that, he took over the mountain fortress.

He even turned this place into the Long Life Sect's place.

So you waited here for seven years?

Everyone thought that Brother Xiao died in that tsunami.

But I know that he isn't dead.

I don't know where he is,

but I can feel that he didn't go far from me.

Sometimes, I even

feel that he is right by my side.

You must feel that I am very ridiculous.

No. I believe

that as long as someone is important to you, you can feel a connection with them.

Then, the girl you want to find,

is she very important to you too?

No. It's not like that.

We are just friends, not like you and the Young Fortress Master.

I think I can help you find her.

It's just, I have a request. After you save her,

can you help me kick out Yu Yang Zi and find Brother Xiao?

We will definitely do our best to help.

It's just...after today,

Yu Yang Zi will reinforce his guards.

Perhaps he'll change Bi Yao's location.

Can you really help us find her?

Don't worry. I know this place very well.

Yu Yang Zi doesn't guard against me either.

I can probably find them very soon.

Stay here for now.

After I get news, I'll come tell you.

Thank you.

Originally I wanted to make things fast and run after saving her.

I didn't think that before we saved her,

we were already exposed.

It's my fault for being rash.

No. It's my fault.

At the start, I shouldn't have...forget it.

We shouldn't have made Bi Yao a hostage.

I'm saying that I shouldn't have let you know Bi Yao.

That's right. Let's hurry and let Senior Brother Xiao know.

It'll be bad if Yu Yang Zi finds out.

Let's go!

That Yu Yang Zi is a hypocrite and cunning. Senior Brother must guard against him.

I know. Go back and take care of Xiao Fan.

You must not act rashly.

Hide in the mountain fortress and wait for news from me.

Then what about you?

Yu Yang Zi hasn't attacked me yet.

He must have qualms against me.

Nor does he know I already know the truth.

I can use this chance to investigate

and see what he plans to do next.

Senior Brother, you must be careful.

Not seeing them overnight,

I don't know where my two junior brothers have gone.

A fire broke out last night.

It was very chaotic.

I didn't see them.

Could they have left?

I'm just afraid that...

Young hero, you can speak your worries.

You don't know.

My two junior brothers have a deep relationship with that demon girl.

The tricks of the evil sect comes in innumerable succession.

I'm afraid that they

I was afraid the two of them will get controlled and bewitched by that demon girl, causing them to commit grave mistakes.

That's why I want you to deal with this.

Young people occasionally acting rashly

and occasionally easily trusting people does happen.

You don't need to worry.

Since that demon girl is in my hands,

no trouble will come from her again.

A fire broke out the other day? Where was the demon girl kept?

Did someone try to abduct her from prison?

Now that things have come to this, Ding Hai Mountain Fortress

has already become an area being attacked on all sides,

hence, we cannot trust easily.

I think that even if the Ghost King Sect can see for a thousand miles,

and ears that can listen far away, they cannot successfully abduct her.

You don't need to worry.

That's good.

Young Hero Xiao, I have something I need your help on.

I will take your orders.

I won't order you.

I just want to trouble you to take a trip outside of the city.

Help me look into the Ghost King Sect's movements.

And look for the other two young heroes while you're at it.

What do you think?

Okay.

How about it? Have you thought things through?

Hurry and let me out!

If you agree to write the letter, the sect leader will let you go.

Not bad. She conceded so quickly.

That girl plays a lot of tricks.

I'm just afraid she's pretending to be weak and will try to run.

It's fine. Have the mute girl go in.

Watch from the entrance. Then she can't leave.

But that mute girl..

After she comes out, just do things as necessary.

-Yes.-Go on.

What are you looking at?

If you go in, your body will become nothing!
