If I pick the right pick, a lot of times in a race, it's good.

But if I pick the wrong pick, it's on our own shoulders.

Hey, here's what me and precious was talking about.

It's more to street racing than just going fast.

It's more to street racing than having a big motor.

It's more to street racing than having a certain size tires.

With that been said, who knows our game better than us?

You know, who knows street racing better than memphis?

Nobody! So we're going to test our skills.

Let's race each other, one at a time.

it's a lot of strategy and a lot of thinking on this,

and it's going to be tricky.

You know why it's going to be tricky?

Because we're racing each other.

Mso are out here on the streets tonight.

They're getting ready to face off

with probably some of the stiffest,

toughest competition they've ever went against.

Tonight I'm pairing mso up against each other

to make sure that each and every one

will push each other and challenge them

where there's keeping control of their nerves,

putting the right tune in the car,

picking the right choice on the lane.

Everybody is going to learn something tonight.

This is chase is a race, arm-drop,

water burn out only on the street.

It's not about who's got the most money,

who's got the fastest car.

It's about who is the realest street racer

and who's got good common sense.

You will never see us race against each other

like this again, so this is at some major stakes.

Right, yeah.

Although I'm pairing mso up

against each other, they know when it's all said and done,

one for all and all for one.

We're out of the road. You think that ever helped us that much?

-I don't think it does. -I don't really think it does.

I'm thinking it gets worse as the night goes on.

I'm thinking to fix how your car leaves, it's going to shoot you

to the inside, no matter what lane you're in.

Tonight's going to be a learning experience

for each and every one.

I gave her lane choice. She wanted right lane.

The first race of the night is a veteran,

mustang mike, going against molly.

She's new, young, and green.

When molly first started racing, things didn't go her way.

he jumped her.

she green, she green. Her first night.

But she didn't lay down.

With these cars, they're almost like your baby.

-Right. -When you get in them,

you can feel something's just not right.

Something's off.

You'll start getting those kind of feelings

the more you work on your car yourself.

-Right. -But she didn't give up.

When you're in that burnout,

the minute it stops spinning, stop.

Don't go out to that street, that dirty street,

and get that dirt and bring it back up in here.

-Okay. -She figured it out.

what I'm talking about!

Why I'm lining molly up against mustang mike is,

he's really, really fast.

And molly, she's just starting out.

She's got to know how to handle each and every racer

she goes up against.

Most of the time, mustang mike

goes towards the end after we gets some rubber down.

He wants to go extremely fast, wide open.

But he proved this year that he can go first off the trailer.

First one down the road, me and mustang mike, $2,500.

You got a bet.

Ooh, I can't get my money out fast enough.

Each and every one of those street racers has a weakness,

and I feel like mustang mike weakness is

that he gets hyped up.

He's got to get a grip on it.

Man, my tire is -- look at it, man.

mustang mike is wild,

and he wants to go extremely fast.

And molly, she's got to get in her mind,

no matter who she lines up against, she can win.

It also allows mustang mike not to take no one for granted.

Because if you take molly for granted, she'll gap you.

Go get beth. Go ask her if she put that fuel cap on good

'cause I smell fuel bad.

On top of the tank?

Yeah, I'm trying to see if the cap is on or not.

Man: Looks like some kind of watery foam.

It's just water, mike.

Let's clean it up real quick, y'all.

Let's try to clean it up.

We want to see the fastest car.

This is a prime example what mustang mike needs

because when mustang mike's hole started leaking,

normally he would've been out of control.

we're going to fix the leak.

He needs to stay focused and stay calm

and try to get a win.

Y'all see that? That car jumped him,

and he drove around that car.

I dropped my arms, and you would've thought

two lions was fighting. They both tore up out of there.

Molly actually got the jump on mustang mike.

One thing for sure, both of them made two awesome passes.

this race here with molly and mustang mike

is a prime example that I think I'm on to something

making them race each other.

Mustang mike is getting learning steps

as we go through this.

He kept it together,

and molly's racing somebody super, super fast.

She didn't let it rattle her.

Up next, I'm going to put jason ainsworth,

one of the old school veterans I grew up with all my life,

going against my son, doughboy.

I feel like doughboy's weakness

is he gets a little bit too antsy at the line.

He lets all his emotions take over, and he jumps.

And I can see in his heart, he really didn't mean to do it.

[ engines revving ]

doughboy's got to work on that,

get his emotions under control, and stay focused.

If you jump too early and be crazy about it,

it's a for-sure loss.

When we went to illinois, he jumped.

But all in all, I am very proud of dough.

He's done awesome.

He's probably going to be even a better street racer than myself.

All in all, I feel like doughboy's a very,

very strong driver, and he's been super successful

and got a lot of wins that I couldn't even have got.

But if you're racing a seasoned veteran street racer

and you do one little dumb thing,

they will capitalize on it.

So that's why I picked jason ainsworth.

If doughboy does something stupid,

And these are going to be probably some of the toughest

match-ups we've seen all season.

I dropped my arms, and doughboy nailed the arm-drop perfect.

He got out on ainsworth and he kind of -- he held his ground.

Jason gained a little bit, but all in all,

that was a drag race.

Doughboy won.

That little jump is what does it.

-I don't think he jumped. -No, no.

It was clean, but he let him lead.

Right, he's a little late, I think.

-He's just a little late. -And it cost him his race.

You know what I'm saying?

-No. It's just -- -they're too close.

-You just can't recover. -I'm going to tell you,

I think jeffrey's car's was outrunning us all

at the 300 mark.

The car that beats jeffrey,

I think you could take any one of the other cars

and jump that car, a car link,

and it's going to -- we're going to beat him.

Up next is two veteran street racers for mso.

Lee roberts in nightforce

going against anthony smith in the hercules.

-Right lane. -Right lane? Okay.

He just switched to a procharger,

and he's been killing it.

He even actually toted the mso in the big 100k race.

He got some huge wins.

Then you got lee roberts.

Everybody knows lee roberts is as cool and as calm as anybody,

but he is as deadly as a cobra.

I could sit here all night and name off what all lee has done.

He's made it to the finals in the arm-drops in kentucky...

...He's won races everywhere we ever been.

a match up like lee and anthony can only be epic.

If anthony can beat lee,

that's going to prove that he's doing his homework

and he's got that procharger running as fast

as we think he does, not making a bunch of noise.

Either way, both of these cars,

I need them to do good and push each other to their limits.

Turtle setting. We done got this game plan up.

-He had a good 330. -I bring in lee and anthony,

and I go to drop my arms

and it looks like turtle in that bucket of bolts

got the jump on lee.

And it costed lee because it's about where they stayed at.

Turtle got the win.

You know, that's what this is teaching us.

-Right. -As fast as lee is,

you let somebody get on you, you're in trouble.

-Yep. -It's a whole other ball game.

Win, lose, or draw, that was a drag race.

Anthony done great.

He proved that that procharger in his car is flying,

'cause if you could even run close

to lee roberts in nightforce, that means something.

And he just now took the win, so I'm very proud of turtle.

Speaking of some real street racers

and as fast as they come,

I'm lining up big head tricia wayne

against donn gingrich. He drives the gangster.

Donn had a little rocky start with that big-mount motor

own small tires.

I'll probably just go in while he's pulling him in and then --

yeah, one and a dry hop

'cause I ain't got no real good tune for small tires.

I'm just going to run one kit.

-whoo! -Left lane!

But he figured it out and he held his own.

-looked like gangster! -He knocked him off here.

and it had a broke rocker!

Ooh, I know why they call you gangster.

-Now you know. -Rattling like a dinner bell.

Earlier in the season,

tricia had a little trouble with the heifer

for switching it over on small tires.

That big old motor it's got in it,

it's hard to figure out on a small tire.

-she crossed first. -I got my nerves broke down.

♪

tricia wayne lost!

Good race, you done good.

-That was wild. -Jumped twice on you.

I couldn't get all the way in.

What did it look like down there?

I couldn't get on -- yeah, I had him,

but I couldn't get on the micro switch

'cause when I did, it would want to rear up.

So tonight I'm putting tricia in the malibu...

...And see if she has any trouble, see what she does.

man: Malibu by two and a half.

Malibu! Oh, that was a drag race.

This is going to be a drag race for both of these

because donn, he knows the game inside and out on the streets.

He liable to pull a rabbit out of the hat at any time.

And tricia, she can go as fast as anybody on the street.

So that's why I put them together.

This is how I held it.

That one needs to come over one.

Well, I feel like that's, you know, when I take off,

I feel like for some -- you know what I mean,

I'm instinctly moving, you know what I mean?

So you practiced not doing that?

I'm trying to just do it like this.

That way I don't, but I'm either,

you know what I mean? I'm either pulling it this way

or pulling it this way, you know?

I'm going to focus on it this time and try to --

It looks like tricia wayne got a jet airplane motor

She 60 foots

like no other out on donn

and she managed to hold him off and she took the win.

I don't think she can be beat in that old malibu.

Them cars, you know, you was clean on arm-drop.

He was just a little late. It was perfect.

Those cars are just identical.

Up next is going to be even a more interesting match up.

It's lee roberts going against jeff james.

Lee's already raced earlier tonight.

Turtle got the jump on him and beat him,

so lee's wanting to redeem himself.

Jeffrey james had an awesome year.

He knocked out 31 small tire drivers in my street wars race

and it came down to lee roberts and jeff james.

going against jason ainsworth with flying colors.

He even got a win, but it ain't over with.

Brian britt, he's had a bunch of huge wins for the mso.

You know, the small tire game takes a lot of common sense

and a lot of street sense.

When you're talking about nitrous, I know what to do.

I can just turn the nitrous down a little bit.

But you're talking about a turbo,

I don't know what they got to do.

I think they got some pop off valves or they got something.

It's a little bit harder, I think.

Brian britt, he loves that turbo stuff

and he says he's got it under control.

This is going to put him to the test

because doughboy just made an awesome pass in an old impala.

But brian britt is a seasoned street racer,

and that little toyota's light.

I don't know which one I would put my money on.

Brian goes in first. He got to spool up.

Don't steal the hit. Just try to beat him.

Beetlejuice is gotta go in first, you know,

'cause he's got to spool up, but he saying, you know,

don't try to steal the heat or none of that.

He said, but you know, don't let him leave on you,

just, you know, do what you do.

if it wouldn't have, 'cause brian made a awesome pass

in that little beetlejuice.

Sounded like you went -- it went to neutral

or got on the high side one of the two.

Whenever he started it, he said it sounded like

it was missing down there, he said, "but I'm gonna run it."

yeah, transmission's slipping

and went in the high side, maybe.

Me and jason just said, when it come out the burnout box

it was, "waaah!" but the tire wasn't spinning.

-Yeah, I thought that too. -Just barely moving.

Transmission's brand new.

-Converter? -Bailey can tell you about them.

Sometimes. [ chuckles ]

up next is kenneth gulley in the bounty hunter.

He had a little bit of a struggle

trying to get that ol' s10 figured out on small tires.

I'm going to put him against jason ainsworth

in that prosecutor.

You got it ready, my tires?

In the first round of my street wars,

gulley was going up against james kay,

and he left just a little bit too early.

♪

then I put him up against brent self,

and gulley left just a little bit too early again.

♪

♪

what happened? I knew you didn't mean to go that early.

You was moving your finger?

I was moving my finger down pulling this --

I had my finger here, but I was trying to get down here.

When I did, it just moved off on its own.

Gulley wheeled that thing around

and I rematched him, and gulley and brent takes off,

and gulley gets the win.

And when brent came back to memphis

for a rematch,

he got the better end of gulley again.

So I feel like gulley needs to work on staying calm,

not leaving too early, but not leaving too late.

I decided to put ainsworth and gulley together

because ainsworth took a loss.

He's already raced doughboy, so he's got some data

and now he can make that old camaro even go faster.

The bad thing is, gulley hasn't had a pass yet.

So he's got to stay cool

because if he jumps any little bit, ainsworth is set,

so that's in the back of gulley's mind.

I feel like the bounty hunter

so I'm going to come off the trailer in ole heavy

and just see how fast ole heavy

can go against another fast truck.

I just came up a little bit short.

I mean, they was like this across there.

I mean, yah! They was on one.

Ole heavy got out there, started doing like that on me.

I said, "leave him, I'll lift."

I couldn't lift. I could see him.

I mean, I had him all the way out, right?

I was out in front of him all the way,

and it started doing like this.

I never lifted, then he started closing the gap,

closing the gap, closing the gap and right at the end,

I'm thinking that's where he got me.

I mean, all the way through, I'm like, this

and he just, he edged me out.

Nobody likes to see sweat and blood,

but it helps the mso,

and this race here was like sweat and blood,

us going against each other.

I feel like tonight was great.

We love each other enough

that we can take a loss against each other.

That's real love.

I'm going to tell you, I think jeffrey's car's

is outrunning us all at the 300 mark.

Then I think there's a couple of cars

that's got a little extra that's losing it because of the road.

I think that he's got to turn his down a little bit.

I think me and gulley both made great passes.

I mean, ole heavy, I put two degrees of timing

and as soon as it moved, I grabbed it.
