you've never seen before we got a call

be easier if you just ask who wants to

hey friendly grudge

that doesn't work come on

strategy starts here if i race against

somebody during a grudge

i'm gonna take that data and hand it to

my team keep it in the circle

the only way it's gonna happen is

somebody taking out ryan early one two

three everyone's expecting him to be all

about

okc in texas but noah's about to make a

big statement

and gathering data can be the difference

let's see what we got

between winning i think she's back

and losing forty thousand dollars

racing is where no prep champions

are truly born ryan fireball

so buckle up

this is no prep kings grudge night

this is farm truck and asian and we are

here in joliet illinois

coming into today racers continue to

team up

and work together to get ahead

but so far team nola has shown itself as

the team to beat

their strategy of racing each other

while also taking outside races has paid

off

and they'll look to keep that strategy

going tonight

got your car running really well now

yeah i just keep changing

well i mean you went through a little

bad spell a bad luck but we all do

back at idaho's grudge night jerry bird

had to drive a different car

let me make some hits in it tonight and

see what we think as a team

i borrowed another probe it's a blower

car which is a lot different

for me from nitrous it's totally

different everything's in different

spots

but team nola re-strategized kept jerry

on track and he was still

able to collect data and that helped

lizzie musee and nola

to grab another victory

sounds like jerry's taking a page out of

daddy dave's book by borrowing a car

there

uh-huh i see what i do hey plan b sonoma

yeah yeah i'm with you but jerry's got

his probe back

that sounds so weird that's the name of

the car that's the make and model he's a

ford probe you know yeah but it's a

weird name it's his car

and just in time for grudge night

noel is on everyone's hit list so having

every car ready is important to gather

data and figure out this track together

i think jerry's gonna do good

yeah the thing about being on top is

there's only one way to go and that's

down so we got to do everything we can

to stay on top

i know no one wants to have me get my

fourth win but

i don't know i'm just gonna go out there

race my race but that car is running

good

i mean we had some problems with it and

uh we made some changes we're racing you

never know you want a forfeit i'm a

sales shocker and i'm gonna get a job on

your crew

our minds are clear as drivers we got

the best tuners in the business

i don't see any way we can get beat hey

the good thing about it though is

we're strong

lizzie give her a lot of data and by the

end of the night

she's tough to beat her car's fast

they've got it figured out

luck skill whatever that runs out okay

so she's going through

right now she's on top of the world yeah

right team okc is desperate to stop

lizzy musey

and team nola okc's team-only racing

strategy

hasn't been paying off and now they need

to rethink

their grudge tactics i've been in her

position before where

you're winning a lot and i know that

when you're in that position

you don't have to be on 11 yeah because

you know 10 works

and everybody that races you goes to 11.

and they've never been there if she

makes a good pass on her second growth

race i'm gonna be waiting for her in her

pit

and try and get her while she's still

ramped up from the good pass

last race i tried to make it happen and

she and kai

both literally turned around and they

were like shaking their head yeah like

they were going to do it and her dad

goes

ah i think we got something broke if you

guys don't have a race for the third

round and you'd like one

i would love to raise you in in respect

we got something broke we need to figure

it out yeah

i get that trust me

i'm totally cool with that it didn't

happen if you give them time to look at

the data and realize it's

it's slow or fast or whatever yeah then

they won't race you but if you can catch

them before they download it

yeah that might be the one for the most

part team okc's

only raced each other and shared data

within their circle

but back in st louis chief suggested

racing the competition directly

if you expect one of these guys to go

call out one of the guys that needs help

or

isn't running just let me know i'm in

i'll do i'll be a head hunter in this

thing as soon as you hear somebody wants

to race

or if you want third data yeah i'll go

get it for you

my car makes a lick at all first round

of grudge right

if i can get her to race me second round

of grudge

then i race ryan third round that gives

me david leave the car pretty much alone

and

and that way we'll know where you know

because if she beats me by

28 car lengths and ryan beats me by 26 i

think we got a good shot

six motors this year well you passed a

year and a half six motors

wow they're pretty cheap though aren't

much like birdman's lingering motor

problems team texas grudge nights have

been a disaster

well everything is bigger in texas

including

grudge night drama and egos

and jerry's ford probe what no

from cody baker's crash in new hampshire

to the mechanical and altitude issues in

idaho

we don't have any nitrous cars it's just

not our

atmosphere the d.a is too high it's all

they got to do is turn a kid on and they

make their own air

team texas has struggled to put together

strong grudge nights

so team texas will go back to basics and

focus on

just getting down the track and a night

of gathering data

without any big setbacks will be an

achievement it's like an easter egg hunt

out there for information

first grudge night

back in idaho these teamless racers

started to race each other

we'll see how that all works out it's

and we finally got it right and it's

raceable ready to go i thought we were

supposed to be team racers and stuff i

go over and get somebody to do

a grudge race with you ain't nowhere to

be found like in the moment three days i

need help putting the motor in i called

you twice

i was over helping your old lady put

that clutch in

now they'll all work together to keep up

with the competition

i think they're out there making friends

what do you think asian nope definitely

enemies

a team outcast will use the strategy of

racing within their own circle and

sharing data

after being outnumbered this team is

going to work together to deliver some

payback

just setting your stuff good yeah i

think so everything's good yeah the

track is sketchy down track you guys all

know that

number one thing is be safe team outcast

everybody seems to be clicking them a

little early but they time like they're

going for a minute but then

clicking them early yeah i mean

this left lane was dripping a little off

to the left so i

just got out of it chiefs kicking off

grudge night

with a new strategy that he pitched to

the 405

to grudge race the fastest drivers

regardless of team

to me a grudge race is for money and you

have a grudge with someone

and it's also an opportunity to find out

how fast they are so everybody wants to

know how fast lizzie is

if everybody's cool with it i want to

race the fastest people here so if y'all

are cool with me racing other people

then let me do that i personally feel

like that will give me an advantage over

everybody here so if he puts down a

healthy hit against robin roberts

he'll be looking to get a grudge with

team nolan

coming up team outcast grudges together

for the first time

chief goes after lizzie and team nolan

the only way to outrun somebody is if

you know how fast they are

so you need somebody to figure it out

and team texas continues to struggle

during grudge

chief pulls to the left down on the big

end but overall it's a good pass

he'll look at the data and try to set up

a grudge race with team nola to kick

start team okc's new strategy

we got a little case of the left no big

deal okay

just a little case of the lefts though

not a big case all right we shouldn't

the car is rolling really really good it

felt like it was hauling ass though

oh there was a lot of left in the power

at route 66.

you know we made some changes on the

downtime from idaho

so we're kind of anxious to get on the

track and see if they you know panned

out

i haven't been testing much let's see

what happens

team okc wants lutz to test out his new

setup

against their heaviest hitter ryan

martin

this will show how close his car is to

being back at

full strength while pushing both drivers

to put down

fast passes back in idaho

ryan martin added a lock-up converter to

the fireball setup in order to keep

pace with the other heavy hitters but it

hasn't been an easy transition

ryan martin puts down a fast straight

pass

looks like fireball's lockup converter

is working out there on that first run

but lutz isn't back at full strength

unfortunately after having trouble

launching off the line it was definitely

failure to launch exactly which is also

matthew mcconaughey's best work

it was good everywhere until i did that

it went yeah

i'll tell you it did it at 3.1

so that's pretty far so the drive shaft

was stuck all the way until then so one

of the things that i tried in idaho that

maybe i didn't quite have a handle

on was the lockup converter the

transmission's a little bit different so

the transmission the converter is a

lock-up type deal now

to where it potentially could make the

car run faster out the back

but if you don't lock it up in the right

time or the right place in the racetrack

it's not gonna do you any good

i wish which we're getting in a minute

but i wish we would i wish that boost

line would have stayed on there

because it was right when it started

making all the power what i was doing in

idaho

wasn't really doing me much good except

for me learning how to use it but now i

think we know how to use it and we're

gonna be able to put it to good use

not that we were wanting it like that

but we got really good 330 data

yeah different way of doing it yeah

that will match it up with some back i

think i've done

what it's going to take to put this

thing in the winners back in the

winner's circle uh but

hey you know what this weekend's going

to tell us

i don't see it see it right here it's

just now fixing the truck

we're out here at route 66 dragway we

were here last year

we were pro-charged and we struggled

this year we're struggling to get to the

330 foot mark

after that we're golden so we're trying

to line the car out and see if we can

finally win one of these deals

i give 110 every week i have nothing

more i can

give the death trap is turned up all the

way

team 405 has to focus this weekend

we need that separation

daddy dave and chuck are feeling the

pressure to put together a solid grudge

so they'll take ryan martin's tune and

see if it works for them as well

chuck gets off the line first and takes

the win light

both put down fast straight passes and

team okc

looks like they've got a winning tune

it's exactly what daddy dave and chuck

needed to regain some of their

confidence and if that doesn't work they

can try being

more positive eating right exercising

creating a better self-image all great

confidence builders

oh man thank you tony robbins i feel

team outcast is starting their grudge

night by racing two of their heaviest

hitters

vixen and giuseppe gentile

it's a big statement that shows every

team they are ready to

battle

uh

it's a solid start for team outcast

giuseppe gets a little loose

and vixen powers ahead for the win

and now this team can start sharing data

to figure out a tune

for this track team outcast will not be

outnumbered

anymore

team outcast wastes no time and brings

out their second team matchup

arizona's kelly blue ball and virginia's

axeman

the team is showing their strength in

numbers and with two more good passes

they'll have a strong foundation of data

on this track

both get off the tree quick but then get

loose

just like giuseppe did the race before

they'll compare data between both races

and tweak their tunes to

iron out the correct power it's an

option these drivers haven't had all

season which will lead to better passes

hopefully

good because i've got a lot of money on

these guys what was that

what i didn't say anything look hey

another race

after racing in a borrowed car in idaho

jerry bird is finally

back in his probe a bunch of changes

before this race

put a new motor in 900 inch motor trying

to get a handle on it so we're trying to

work out the bugs

try to get the tune up better

team nola is bringing him and their

heavy hitter lizzie musee to the line

first

the probe hasn't raced in a while but by

racing against a team member

nola's preventing the other teams from

stealing data

on how strong jerry's car is or how fast

lizzie is today

well played nola well played

uh we made a couple changes with the car

we're pretty sure

the changes that we're gonna make on the

car is gonna make it a little bit easier

to drive down

track so my goal is to try to take that

number four wins

both cars put down strong passes and

lizzie

edges out jerry's probe for the win

light it's a good sign for team nola

being back at full strength

and as long as they keep communicating

they'll continue their success here in

joliet

do you know who wasn't communicating who

the team responsible for naming

the car probe let that go

farm truck let it go those are ford

engineers we're talking about there

this mold is a lot faster than the other

one just on three kits

and i have five so we're trying to get

the tune-up right on three and then

we're gonna start turning on four

then we're gonna turn on five

i gotta turn power on

the ignition's on power's on ignition's

bad things don't roll over with the bar

we got a fast car right now

we've done a lot of work over the past

two weeks to get to where we're at the

track after 330 feet

is very sketchy so you got to control

your power

um appropriately and apply it when you

can and get rid of it when you can

disco dean is one of the outcasts

fastest racers

and nola's baba ducote has set up a

grudge race with him

team nola is continuing their strategy

to race outside their circle to gain

data on other teams

and bobby will try to size up team

outcast's heavy hitter

this godean beats bobby off the line but

gets a little loose on the big end

and like a mirror ball sees bobby do

cody go around him for the win

got to get a little loose sometimes with

a name like disco dean

team outcast still needs to figure out a

tune for the big end

and nola's strategy pays off as bobby

comes away with some data

on the newest team

down there and ain't risking nothing it

was fast we still got more on the plate

we still got more on the table we're

gonna go back in there and fine-tune it

and bring a little more out of it still

almost beat i lifted just after the 3

30.

you see it make a move like that and i

drifted over i just

didn't lift it i didn't want to get back

in it do nothing stupid you know what i

mean

it was fine

wants to help the 405 by racing the

fastest

on grudge night so he will be ready to

roll and take on lizzie musee right now

when you look in the trailer and the two

drivers are there of the two cars

two of the baddest cars here one of them

is no doubt about the fastest car here

and when you ask to race one of them

they both look at the same

guy and that's the man himself pat music

so that tells me that he gives the word

nobody makes a move until he says so

he's the godfather around here you know

so i'll wait to find out how fast she is

after all that

but nola knows there's no love with this

matchup

so lizzy's not taking the bait just yet

the sun has set and the track is cooling

down

but team nola is heating up and ready

for another grudge

we worked all night long when you've

been to bed in two days

we've had a motor apart the transmission

apart we're gonna run it anyway

and we're gonna see what happens team

noel isn't denying chief entirely but

they're flipping the script and bringing

scott taylor to the line instead

chief is gunning for lizzie but taking a

race against scott taylor is

also valuable data and you can bank on

that with scott's car hurting

chief might not know exactly what

scott's car's cable broke

and it could open the door for nola to

see how fast he's running instead

scott gets chief on the tree

and he has to let off the throttle but

quickly gets back into it and flies down

the track for the win

it's a good sign that he's got his car

back and rolling

as for chief the trouble he had off the

line will haunt him and it's a missed

opportunity to distill data on team

nola's heavy hitter

run chief that's the first time we ever

beat him i've had a ton of problems

every time i run that man

today wasn't pretty but we picked up a

win against him so

go right down the track i'm happy

sean wilhoy and birdman have been

dealing with mechanical problems

recently

team texas is still grudge racing one

another to see who's making headway

and who still has work to be done and

the whole team is crossing their fingers

that these two can get down the track in

one piece

the way this team has been driving they

should cross everything

everything but hopefully not their

eyeballs no fingers

sean wilhoit and the mistress show smoke

on the big end

yet again another motor issue it looks

like crossing body parts doesn't work

for team texas either

but birdman finished with a decent hit

and that data will be

critical for texas kayla morton is up

next for team texas and she's put

together a race

with nola's kai kelly

which shows they're not scared about

revealing any information

and texas will gladly jump at the

opportunity to gain data

on the hottest team

this is farm truck and asian and team

texas grudge night issues continue to

follow them

it's been sketchy down on the big end

all night and now caleb morton has

completely lost control of her car

i think she's been around twice i think

i think he's never in twice

anything wow on those pass against

kai the pro charger locked up causing

the motor to lock up

causing the back tires to lock up

and at that point i was just kind of on

a wild ride i did a couple donuts

i don't see anything i just know that

there was something under my tires you

know what i'm saying like i just

want to make sure cause the run was

beautiful until that happened

so i know there's probably something on

the racetrack she don't want to send

anybody else down

we looked as we come down we're gonna

check on the way back didn't really

understand what was going on

we came back realized the blower was

broke we're gonna have to run some old

tires because when i slid up on two

wheels it actually cut the back tires

i could not get that reeled in i've

never been not

in control like it would have been it

made a beautiful pass

i was extremely confident coming into

chicago and i kind of went from like

hero to zero in a matter of one second

but you know

all you can do is try again i really

need to get together right now

you got it got this one good job

ryan martin has added a lock-up

converter to the fireball's setup

recently

and he's been trying to figure out a

tune for it down the track

his first pass was strong and now he'll

test it with a refined tool

team okc is bringing chuck to the line

to face

ryan martin they put down the fastest

passes for the team

and now they'll push it even faster to

find the limits of what this track can

actually take

ryan martin makes like a tree and leaves

clean at the light

and it gets the jump on chuck but the

fireball moves after it reaches the 300

foot mark and gets sent

towards the wall which

might mean the lockup converter isn't

working consistently

ryan will want another pass to get his

kinks figured out

chuck takes the wind light but comes

away with a hurt engine

he's got some work to do and fast i clip

ryan at the finish line we get the win

but not only is it got a cracked header

it also blew the gasket out on the back

so

it's got two leaks on the driver's side

we're going to get it apart uh get it

over the lutz

jeffrey will weld it up we'll put it

back together we'll be back in business

in the next 30 minutes

team outcast continues their strategy of

team racing

and giuseppe gentile and larry larson

head to the line

tonight is their first grudge night

being a part of a team

and with more data to analyze it could

be a turning point for these former

independent racers

i'd say for us the track's really loose

out the back it's good early but out the

back it's

it's sketchy but we're looking at the

tune-up and i think we'll have uh

should be able to make a good run this

next next timeout

giuseppe jumps out on larson but he gets

loose on the big end

again and larson's powerful cadillac

goes around him for the win

but with data being shared between team

outcast drivers

giuseppe can analyze more races and

figure out his tune much quicker than

before

how's it going

better weather today man i'll take this

or idaho for sure

kelly blue ball and axeman are coming to

the line for a rematch

axeman chopped down kelly for the win

earlier today

but they both got loose on the track

thankfully they have new tunes

after analyzing all the data team

outcast has gathered

it's the final grudge for team outcast

and the team needs this data

axman's got to go chopping and blue

balls gotta go

i don't know maybe go balls to the wall

what whatever you get what i mean they

gotta lay it all out there

uh

kelly and axeman both get a good jump at

the light

axeman has some tire shake and has to

abort the pass

he'll have to troubleshoot the changes

that he's made but kelly put down a

solid lip which axman and the rest of

team

outcast can analyze outstanding work

out of team outcasts to close out their

outing of inner and outer circle races

that was out of this world

ryan martin has been tweaking his

lock-up converter all night

and this race is his last chance to get

it working correctly

he'll be racing robin roberts who had

starting line issues earlier today

it's the last chance for team okc to

figure out this track so both are going

to swing for the fences

oh

ryan martin puts down a fast clean pass

and now team okc has a solid tune

that fits the track robin roberts had to

shut his car down early again

he'll have to fix his mechanical

problems first but he's got ryan's tune

to use going forward

despite chief's earlier plans lizzie has

avoided grudge racing against him

and other okc drivers instead

she turned her attention towards disco

dean one of the

fastest cars of team outcast

disco dean the dancing machine gets an

opportunity to size up the heaviest

hitter out of all the teams

and since he's already grudged bobby

ducote he's bringing team outcast

extremely valuable data

lizzy and disco dean bump in but dean

takes off too

early and grabs the red light and then

he stalls

and lizzy moonwalks right by him it's a

missed opportunity to gain

data on lizzie and now nola has a

winning tune for the track

and they freaking should run again why

where the motor out

we're gonna be jumping all over it soon

so yeah you're right nobody can outrun

you trust me

you guys coming back tomorrow

yeah okay awesome grudge night is

winding down but chief is still looking

to collect as much data as he can from

team nola

everybody wants to know how fast lizzie

is the only way that i'll know

is to race her again but after asking

for the race

and as nicely as i could pat music said

maybe another time to me that means

ah you know we'll talk about we'll think

about it what you want to do

lizzie has avoided chief's grudge races

tonight so he has to settle on taking on

another one of her teammates

this time it's jerry bird it's pretty

bad when a woman turned you down and set

you up with one of her guy friends

the bird brothers and lizzy had a close

grudge race earlier so if big chief

can't get lizzy he may be able to use

this race to figure out a little bit

more about what the team nola is working

with

chief and jerry bird both get a good

jump off the light

but at the 3 30 foot mark chief gets

loose and shuts his motor off

jerry bird has a nitrous backfire and

fights through it to

take the wind light someone's got to

respect that probe

all right no more probe talk for the

rest of the night oh deal sorry it's

just brand it's just the brent deal

it's the brand it's the brand it was a

bold new strategy for team okc

and will be the one they continue to

experiment with

the only way to outrun somebody is if

you know how fast they are

and you don't know how fast they are

because they kicked all your asses so

you need somebody to figure it out

thanks to their night of grudge racing

each other

i took bird brothers down team outcast

with me that's the second win for team

outcast storm through joliet

axeman made it all the way to the finals

showing that sharing data and taking

only a few outside races

works right there

besides chief team okc stuck to its

team-only racing strategy

and with ryan martin fine-tuning his

lock-up converter during the grudge

night

ryan is in the right lane the axe man

is in the left lane

he beat axeman to win it all
