Episode 17

Did you sign both contracts on the same day?

Yes

How did you manage to do that?

We'll have to press charges for that

Even though both contracts were signed, but that's just a business mistake

What have I done wrong? What do you want?!

Do you know who I am?

I'm not a liar, so don't accuse an innocent

Quiet down, do you know what crime you've committed?

-Fine! -Do you know where you are? Don't mess around!

I didn't lie!

Fine, quiet down!

It was a mistake to sign the company afterwards

I'll explain it to them myself

Who signed it?

Did you sign it yourself?

Who signed it?

Did you sign it yourself?

I wasn't there at that time so it was my colleague who signed it

Really?

Then let's charge that colleague then

We can charge him for transferring the deposit into his account

We did it because we didn't know anything!

We didn't know that Hyung had signed the contract

How did you guys get in here? Wait for me outside

-Hyung... -Wait outside

Hyung, I signed the contract for you and our company

-Just go out -I'm really sorry

-Get out -Quickly!

-We're not guilty, I really didn't... -Get out quickly!

Was it him who signed it?

If we don't charge that person then you'll have to take full responsibility for everything

Noona

What's happened?

Where's Woo Jin?

He's in there making a statement

It's all because of us

Because of you and Suk Jin? What are you talking about?

Is it a double contract?

How can it be a double contract?

Hyung signed a contract with an investment company

We didn't know about that, so we signed another contract

When we found out, the company that signed with Hyung wanted to charge him

Where is this company?

What's wrong? Why aren't you answering me?

Which company is it?

It's Noona's company

What? What charge?

That couldn't have happened

We're at the police station, Woo Jin is being questioned at the moment

You really don't know anything about this?

I don't, I'll hang up first to clear this up

Ok, thank you

I have to go somewhere

Wait here for me

Don't feel too upset, eat something

Here, thanks!

Noona!

We have already charged Kang Woo Jin. Chief Kim, tell them that your company wants to cancel the contract

Ok, I'll talk to you later

Can't you knock first?

You never give us a preview of the trouble you make

Trouble?

What do you mean?

Are you the one charging Woo Jin hyung?

I just got the news about it

The legal and investigative teams discovered it

How would you not know about it? You know everything that's going on in this company!

They were doing it behind my back

Who is Kang Woo Jin?

Whoever is connected to our family, the workers will stir up rumours

Don't think it's an exception just because you're investing

Now here's trouble. What would the workers say if we start to do something about this?

The investigative team first discovered this then took necessary legal action

I'll take care of what's going to happen afterwards so don't do anything yet

Go and see Woo Jin first

It's really worrying

President, Miss Go Hee Soo is here

Don't let anyone in who hasn't got an appointment

You're making it hard for me

Let go

It's nearly time for the conference, get the car ready, I'll be out soon

Yes President

Grandad, you've really gone too far

How could you think of charging him?

Making his company go bankrupt then ruining his chances of starting up again, are you doing it all because of me?

Then what's the reason this time?

Are you punishing him for ruining the engagement ceremony?

The strong bullying the weak is the most horrid thing ever, that's what grandad said before

But why are you doing it grandad?

Do you know what you are saying?

Don't think that because you have a mouth you can say whatever you want

I beg you one last time, please drop the charges on Woo Jin

I was feeling happy to see you but I've had to come to you with no manners so I'm sorry

Goodbye

Tell the Chief Secretary to come in

Chan Ho

No matter how angry you are, you've still got to look where you're going

Don't you think that grandad has gone too far this time?

Yes but so have you

What are you talking about?

It seems like it wasn't grandad who did it

What do you mean?

We're still trying to find out the truth so go and see Woo Jin hyung first

Find out about the contract between Director Kim Chan Ho and Kang Woo Jin

Yes

Also

I hope from now on, you only report to me

What does that mean?

I'm sorry

Please forgive me, President

You may leave

Yes

If you want the charges dropped then you'll need to take care of the double contract

You can cancel the contract which your employee signed for or you could press charges against your employee

You'll have to make a choice between the two

Hey

Hyung

You guys have been waiting since now?

We're really sorry

No...it's all my fault, I'll go hand myself in

No, I'll go instead. My body is stronger that yours

Forget it, don't

Hey Huh Jung Min, Ha Suk Jin!

You punks. If both of you go in, then who's gonna release the game?

Stop with the nonsense, go back to work

Hurry up

Woo Jin

What's going on?

That's what I want to ask you

I just got your message

I went to Japan on a business trip

Why did you tell them to sign it?

Woo Jin

For a person who is very familiar with these situations, why wasn't there a lawyer to consent it?

I just wanted to help you

The conditions were very good, and I tried to call you

I'm sorry

I'll contact the company to cancel the contract

We only need to take care of the double contract then the charges will be dropped right?

Let's go together

Bring over the deposit account

The representative has gone on a business trip

When is he returning from China?

At the end of this week

We're desperate, I have to see him

Is there any way we can contact him?

If we do contact him but he doesn't return then I'll go to China to see him

Let's wait and see

I'm really sorry

I didn't want to pass up on this opportunity

I made a mistake

Even though I'm really angry but I've done a lot of things to upset you before

If I'm to blame you, I'm not that thick skinned

What did Hee Soo say?

What?

You don't know?

President Go will not let his granddaughter off so easily for leaving the engagement ceremony

He really is powerful

Just don't know when he'll stop

Chan Ho

They've finished questioning me, I'm outside

I'll see you at the office around lunchtime

What a pity

So much money, we haven't even spent a penny and now we have to return it

Let's have a feel of that money when we take it out yeah?

And how about we spend say 10,000 won?

Wake up! Wake up!

Can you take full responsibility if anything bad happens?

Why are you guys looking at the account book so seriously for?

We're not

Why is there a lot of money?

-That's... -What's that for?

It's the game...

You've found investment?

Not really

Yes, it's the investment

My boys, you did good

But why are you trying to hide the good news?

That's because...Hyung wanted to give you a surprise right?

What nonsense

That's great

Woo Jin

Hee Soo

She came over

I have something to say to Chan Ho so why don't you go home first?

And also, mother doesn't know so don't say anything

I think it's a trap, at first no one wanted to invest but all of a sudden at the same time there's two...

I'm sorry

The company's legal department didn't let me know first when they pressed charges

What about Sun?

He says he doesn't know anything

I'm not too sure as there's no proof to suggest it is a trap

It's the President isn't it?

The person who wants to destroy me is Hee Soo's grandad

It's not grandad

Hee Soo asked grandad when she came over earlier

It seems like he only knew about it then, that's when the secretarial department started to get busy

Don't worry about us pressing the charges

I'll definitely take care of it

Fine, I need your help

What's wrong? You think I only know how to reject?

I want to lie and say I can take care of this myself but I can't

You're really something Hyung, how can you be pulling jokes right now?

If I don't laugh then should I cry?

What's wrong with you?

What's bothering you?

No, it's nothing

If there's anything you need, please give me a shout

If it's not enough just call me over

Thank you, enjoy your meal

You...

What great fashion President Jang has!

You look ten years younger with that scarf around your head

How did you find out?

Did Hee Soo tell you?

No, I just found out

Don't get upset, I'm fine

I just need you to become successful

I feel there's hope for this investment

When were you planning on telling me?

When I heard the news, I felt so much better

President Go, let him see how successful you will become

It's good, really delicious

You didn't cook this right?

Mother's cooking is not this good

Nonsense

Don't worry about me

If everyone depends on your success then you'll feel more burdened, and at that time you won't be able to do greater things

I know that for a fact

I'm not tired at all

So don't worry

Alright

When did you find out?

About me and mother working here

Just a few days ago

I'm sorry, and to you...

I'm sorry as well

It's all because of me...what are we going to do?

It's not because of you that this has happened so don't say that

It's my fault this time

Why were you impolite to your grandad?

Why did you do that?

I thought it was grandad

What should we do?

Chan Ho will help us

I'll take care of the other company so don't worry

I'm getting the fax now

I'll have a look at these legal documents and I'll get the cancellation contract

Thank you for your help, my friend

You have a lot of friends who are willing to help you

If I wasn't bankrupt then I'd treat them as strangers

You're helping me as well

It's because I've done something wrong

Hyung

Don't worry, I've decided to go in

I'm not joking

No, I'm going in

I think I'm stronger than you

What?

The money was transferred to my account so it should be me going in

I was the one who signed it, my friend

Thanks for your kindness but don't force yourself

Alright

Since it's your wish then I'll make it true

Is it alright if you two go in together?

I nearly forgot that I can't take prison meals

Stop lying

I am claustrophobic

If I go to prison then I'll probably go crazy

You punks, get on with your work

-Yes -Alright

Even if it's for those punks, I still need to sort this out

The stars are out

Mother

Let me help

It's alright

You're not going home today?

When are you going back?

What's wrong with you today?

Aren't you going to say 'I'm not going'?

It's so quiet today that it's boring

How about I tell you some good news?

Woo Jin got the investment

Pardon?

You didn't know?

They were hiding it from us when they received it

They wanted to give us a surprise

Aren't you excited?

I'm happy

Aren't they going to come home again tonight? I guess they are really busy

It seems like he didn't come today

Pressing charges right after the contract was signed...

Who's order was it to press charges?

The legal department

Tell me the truth

I've said this so many times now, why aren't you dropping the charges?

I'm sorry but even though coming from you, it's hard to do

I know it's hard but it's not doable

Director, if it's your wish to drop the charges then it will affect your position which I'm sure you realise

I'll take full responsibility for whatever happens

There were many details on that warning

Director Kim is tougher than he seems

Yes, leak the news out

Make the problem even bigger

Make Kim Chan Ho get into deep water

Director Kim

You've outdone yourself

What do you mean?

I told you not to do anything

Why didn't you listen and went straight to the legal department?

Have a look on the staff forum

Have a look at what people have been saying

Director

Why did you do that?

This has caused a huge amount of effect on us

After the engagement ceremony, everyone's not as confident in you like before

Because of a personal reason, you've gone against the legal department

No matter how large a shareholder you are, if they don't support you then your position is in danger

Because of this, it's not looking so good on our side

I'm sorry

But being me, I had no other choice

Mother, why are you putting the soup out?

It's not soup, it's oil

I see

Come over here

I'm not hungry

Coming to and fro, I could've slept for an hour

Shut the nonsense, you have to eat no matter how busy you are

Don't just sit there, go in and wash your hands

Mother, the soup is delicious

Of course. Because you've received the investment, I put all my effort into making this soup

What's the matter? Eat

Is it not to your taste?

Then have some kimchi soup, that's good for the body

It's not that, it's delicious mother

What are you doing? Eat up

What's wrong with you?

The soup is too hot, it's making my nose runny

It's really hot

Why are you rushing with your food?

Eat it with the rice slowly

Do you want another helping?

It's ok, I'm full

Hurry up

It's really delicious

Yeah it is

No leftovers, so eat it all

Isn't it delicious? Shall I give you another helping?

Thank you for coming to see us even though you're so busy

Are you kidding? Why do you want to cancel all of a sudden?

I'm sorry but after some thought, this contract does not seem to be successful

It's because I wasn't present at that time to make that decision

The documents are not false as the money was transferred to Jung Min's account

Alright, since we both have faults then how about we just end this by returning the money to you?

Since you're breaking the conditions, then you'll have to take full responsibility

Woo Jin, you'll need to repay back by three times the original amount

You'll have to take full responsibility for the China side as well

What China side?

For the business trip, they've signed a contract to release the game into China

Because the conditions were so good, they signed

But it's been very difficult for them

Was China mentioned when discussing the terms?

No, not really...

Fine, my employee made a mistake but we'll compensate all your losses

But regarding about China, you didn't discuss this with us so it's not our responsibility

We won't compensate you for that

Then I'll see you in court

Fine

Noona

No news yet?

-Do you wanna give Hyung a call? -He'll defintely say everything's alright

Shall we ask Chief Kim Yu Mi?

How's the situation?

Not good, the fees are large

I think we've made a huge mistake

Woo Jin is having a hard time

Jung Min, Suk Jin!

Wait, wait!

I know what you're feeling

Let's wait until Woo Jin returns and see what he says, it's not too late to do anything then

Hyung will definitely say he'll sort it all out

It's our fault so we should go and help

If it doesn't work then let's lay down at the office

You can't, you can't lay down at the office!

Let's go, who knows when they'll come back, we can't do this

They're here

Jung Min, Suk Jin

Ahjusshi!

What?

Nothing...

Can we cancel the contract?

That's right, it's all our fault

Hyung is not guilty and he has no money, please just let us go

Yes just come at it at us, we'll use our bodies to guarantee

Let go, what bad luck

Wait, I'm really sorry

We're speaking to you from our hearts, but don't you think you're too much with the attitude?

You should at least listen to what we have to say...

How annoying, move!

Noona!

How dare you raise your hand!

Jung Min, Suk Jin, stop fighting!

No!

Woo Jin

What's going on?

Is your company full of gangstars?

How can they hit me? I have to rest for a couple of weeks do you know?!

I'm sorry, it seems that my employees really have made a mistake

You keep on saying it's a mistake, how can you run business like this?

It was you ahjusshi who first pushed noona

Who's ahjusshi?

How can you be so rude?

You are an ahjusshi, what else do you want us to call you?

Shut up

These rude punks, I bet they want a taste of prison food right?

I won't let this go, you understand me?

Ahjusshi, quiet down, do you think this is your home?

-Hyung, what are you doing? -Get up, get up!

I'm sorry, I'll apologise for you on their behalf

They're just kids, for their future, please forgive them

I'll compensate your hospital fees and your work fees

Is someone going to die? What is a grown man like you crying for?

I'm sorry hyung

Forgot it, I'll take care of it go back to the office

We just wanted to help

Just go back

Miss Go Hee Soo

I thought that Miss Go Hee Soo was someone who wanted face, but I guess not

Be careful with your words

You're the one who's too much Miss Hee Soo

Who was it who made Woo Jin bankrupt?

Did you see it then?

How could you stand there and do nothing?

If it were me, I'd go and beg my grandad

If I could do that then I'd have done it already

But don't you think you're getting too involved?

Since we're on the subject let me say a few things

Thank you for helping Woo Jin, but it's gone over the top now

I think you should stop now

Why should I?

Is it because of you?

Do you know that it was me who has been helping Woo Jin whenever he was in trouble because of you?

If Woo Jin was awake then he'd feel regretful

He'd finally realise why is he making himself suffer because of a woman?

We're in love

I have no reason to listen to what you have just said

In love with each other? That's always your reason

No matter how hard it has been for Woo Jin, is love really enough?

Are you really that confident towards love?

Watching you now, I think you are really sad

Have you ever loved and trusted someone before?

Have you? How much do you trust Woo Jin?

Everything

Everything, I trust everything he does

Woo Jin is me

I trust myself as much as I trust him

Miss Hee Soo

People need to say things they mean alright?

I will remember what you've just said

Trust him till the end

There's a limit to obstructing the staff forum

It's not just your problem anymore

Even though it's a family business, but the whole company has fallen to criticisms

Because of you, me and grandad will have to listen to what they say

Hyung

It seems like you're busy, I'll come back later

It's to do with you so you don't have to leave

Hyung

What?

Because of Woo Jin, your position is becoming more and more difficult

You still don't understand?

Let's talk about this later

What do you mean?

Because of the problem with the investment, Chan Ho's position has been affected badly

The whole company has been discussing about Kim Chan Ho investing in the man who ran away with his fiancee, and using the company's money to get his love back

This is what Chan Ho has heard after he helped you

Stop it!

Watch your attitude, it's not just your problem anymore

Hyung don't take it to heart, Sun hyung has always been that sensitive

I'm sorry

I'm the biggest shareholder, this is not a problem. How did it go with the other company?

Things are going well so don't worry

That's great, if there's any problem let's discuss it together

The charges should be dropped soon

I didn't come by this morning, I'm sorry

I had to see a friend of the law so I was busy

Were you little bit disappointed that you didn't see me this morning? Meeting each other like this, it seems like it's fate

You crazy fool

Yes, even though I'm like a crazy fool but I'm still trying hard to sort out the problems

I think we won't be seeing each other for a short period of time

Don't be too upset, let's go with the fate

Where does it hurt?

It hurts

I really want to die, how did we end up like this?

Come over here

Come over!

Hurry, hurry

What's wrong with your face?

Mother, it's nothing

Mother, we were just fighting

We just got hurt by accident

Yes mother, they will get into a fight sometimes

Hurry up and apologise, hurry up

I'm sorry

Tell me the truth

You've been acting weird since this morning

Mother that's not important, what shall we eat tonight? I'll go and prepare

Tell me now!

Good, you look nice

We should dress up for times like these

Mother what is 'times like these'?

Let's go

Mother where are we going?

Do you know where this punk's office is?

Mother

About the contract signed in China, we won't compensate you for that

I agreed to the condition of the termination of the contract and it was to compensate the loss in China

Is that fair?

And what I know is that this accident was caused by you pushing my secretary first

Secretary Go

Yes, I am Secretary Go Hee Soo

Give Lawyer Kim a call

Yes, Lawyer Kim's number...alright

Hello Lawyer Kim?

Noona

Our President Jang has something important to discuss with you

Please wait a moment

Lawyer Kim

Mother?

You said before that without my approval about any contracts in China, we don't have to compensate for it is that right?

Yes, but they keep on requesting for us to compensate

So we should press charges?

Of course so Lawyer Kim, would you prepare the documents please

Alright

I don't think we need to take it to court, since it would be a bigger problem

Now you seem to have awoken

We just need to compensate the money is that right?

Your side won't be leaked right?

Don't worry

I'll give them something to agree about

And also they don't dare to ruin what I'm doing

If they want to do business then they need my help

Good job

I think there are some sides which need compensating for so take it

Thank you

But all I need is inner strength to help with my compensation

How?

I need to think about that

Mother

Mother you were so cool today

You need to say a few lies and be a bit brave in one's life

Why am I so weak?

Because of my family, Woo Jin is faced with the same situation. But I can't do anything to help him

Wait until I'm a bit more mature and when time goes by, I'll be strong like mother is

Hee Soo

Do you know what the most weakest thing in the world is?

It's being a mother

When I was living on my own, I wasn't afraid of anything

But when I had a kid, I felt that everything in the world could harm my child so I was really careful

When a mother has a child, she wouldn't even try to say anything wrong

Who knows if my child will say the same thing as I have

But now I've become a thing of the pond

Having two kids would've made me even more cautious and scared

Mother

Mother

Relative

How have you been?

We've come to give Hee Soo some herbal medicine, thank you for taking care of her

Why do I have to give this to her?

Oh relative, you really...

If you want a grandchild then you should do more

Grandchild?

To bring the two families together, that's the only way

My father's temper will disappear when there's a grandchild in his arms

That's all up to you now

-No -Let's go Driver Moon

Wait Lady Park

Relative, it's really sad relative

If you could call me 'relative' then I'll be so thankful

Another look at this house, it's so quaint. Inside a small house everyone must be getting along fine

Our house is too big, don't know where to look if you need to find someone

I'll be going now

Having a small house is good

President Jang

Can you please give this to miss, it's her mobile

No it's ok hyung, it's not really money we need

If hyung is in a difficult situation then forget it

Let's go out sometime

Alright hyung

Can you excuse us for a moment?

Go outside

It's the compensation

I'll lend it to you

Why should you?

Looking back on it, it's my fault as well

Even if it meant losing this chance, I should've notified you first

I should help you

How about this, we need to sort this out before we can release the game

Why is Chief Kim here?

She's not here to press charges against one of us is she?

That's possible

Where can we find money?

Jung Min, Suk Jin

-Noona -What are you doing out here?

Is Woo Jin inside?

He's talking with Chief Kim

To be honest, I really want to take it but it's not too good

Thank you for your concern

Yu Mi

Is it because it's my money that you can't accept?

You know it's not like that

You've hurt me so much

Yu Mi

Yu Mi

It's not like that, you know it's not like that

Yu Mi, don't cry

Yu Mi

Woo Jin

Hee Soo! Hee Soo!

It's a misunderstanding all of it

Woo Jin, wait a sec

Didn't you say you trust him?

Seeing you run out like that, I didn't think you meant it

Hee Soo it's a misunderstanding really

That's right, we're in a situation to be misunderstood by

That's right, I misunderstood

After running out I realised that I really misunderstood

Take me as Miss Yu Mi

You did it like this am I right?

What are you doing?

Hee Soo what's wrong?

Wait a sec, I'm trying to picture what happened

This time take me as Woo Jin

Was this how Miss Yu Mi hugged me? At that time Woo Jin's bum was sticking out is that right?

Let go

Then Woo Jin pushed Miss Yu Mi on the right then held on to the right arm is that correct?

No it's the other way round

-Other way round? -Yes

That means you pushed her on her right then held on to her left arm is that correct?

Are you playing around?

Wait there's tears

Miss Yu Mi was crying as she was speaking

The answer's out

Women who cry while speaking, Woo Jin is not the type to ignore them

I trust Woo Jin but the person who won't let go is Miss Yu Mi so that's why it was all a misunderstanding

I came here to lend him money, you're exaggerating

Forget it, if you don't want it then there's no point in forcing you

I'm leaving

Wait, who are you going to press charges against? Is it me or...?

Move!

What's the matter?

I'm sorry

From now on no matter how hard women cry I won't go and comfort them, I swear

Wait, what if I cry?

I won't do anything to make our bomb cry

You'll forgive me right?

That depends on your performance

You were so brave back then, so cool

Really?

I learnt it from mother

Do you know how brave mother was today?

Why? What happened?

She was having words with the president of the other company and in the end we don't have to compensate for China's loss

That's enough

Mother has turned me into a bad guy

I could've taken care of it myself, why did mother had to show her face?

You're right

Anyway thank you

I'll give you a peck on the cheek how about that?

What are you saying?

When was the last time we did that?

Our President Jang is so beautiful, it'll be even better if she goes on dates

That can't be done, even though I feel it's very pitiful but let me just give you a kiss. Free of charge come on

Just don't let me worry about you, you little punk

Alright mom

From now on I'll rely on no one but myself

Alright?

Mother

Have some herbal medicine

Where did you get that?

It was in the kitchen, drink it before it gets cold

That's not my medicine

It's the medicine that your mother brought over for you

When?

Mother, I can't drink this myself

Let's all share it

I've given a bowl each to Jung Min and Suk Jin

What?

It really kicks in

I feel very strong

I feel very hot

That's great

Do you know what medicine that was?

Herbal medicine

It's the medicine to make one pregnant

Have some more

I actually envy Miss Yu Mi

I felt really sad that I couldn't help you

But she could even lend you the deposit, I feel so envious

I envy that she has power

The biggest support on my side is to have our bomb here

To sort out the deposit problem, it's no big deal so don't worry

From now on, don't think of handling it all on your own

During this I've understood something

If you want to protect the one you love then you first have to protect yourself

I'll help you by myself from now on

The guest over there has given the bill to you

[Grandad, I have no money]

I was wrong last time

I was rude, please forgive me grandad

I'm really sorry but I have no taxi fare grandad

Where are you going? Since you have no fare, I'll give you a ride

Thank you

Since you're going to give me a ride, why not lend me some money

Let's go

I'll definitely pay you back

If you need I can write out an I.O.U

Why are you asking me for help?
