[EP9. Missed calls]

I feel nothing.

Why did you appear in front of me and make me feel confused?

Such a goblin!

[Ji Seungheon]

Hello.

Drinking? Right now?

Okay

Let's meet and drink.

[Han Jeongyeon, 23, 1998.08.09]

[010-068-3154, Gongdeok park, etc.] Ninth kiss partner.

I should accomplish it before 2 am.

2 am!

[I'm leaving for the mission. Gongdeok park]

Are you happy?

I'll try hard to learn from you emotionally.

Are you happy?

I'm happy.

I'm happy when I'm with that one.

I want to stay happy.

[9. Jeongyeon, met at the park] Happiness...

is...

Pardon?

It is something that remains for only a split second.

Its life is...

as short as that of milk.

Why?

You know...

Be happy with a good person.

You could feel happy for a moment.

I understand!

You will be so happy.

But...

We could never be happy enough.

We always want to be happier and happier.

Keep this in mind, happiness equals milk!

So...

We give up before the milk goes wrong.

Before love becomes deeper.

Oh...

This is enough.

It's okay.

That should be it.

That's how I protect myself.

I...

I can make you stay happy.

Pardon?

I...

I can...

I can make you happy.

How?

I...

I will keep loving you.

Are you crazy?

I mean it.

I asked you to come to tell you that I love you.

I didn't call you because I was bored.

[Bansuk: missed call]

Sorry, I've gotta go.

Who is it?

That part-timer?

Yes, I have to go.

Sorry!

Let's talk about it later.

Why aren't you answering?

I'm a mere goblin, and I've been too active.

What does it mean by "a mere goblin"?

A being that has been abandoned by humans.

Stop bringing chaos to the human world.

You can't hurt Bansuk!

What are you?

Hey, Bansuk!

Wake up, Bansuk!

Are you okay?

Blood...

Oh my god...

What should I do?

Wake up!

Why are you so late?

I've been waiting for you to come.

Sorry.

I promised that I would keep you safe.

Sorry that I'm late.

Still happy to see you.

I really missed you.

Bansuk...

Wake up!

Wake up, Bansuk, please!

No...

We promised to be friends.

We haven't become friends yet!

Hey, Bansuk...

I like you so much.

I really like you.

Please wake up.

I'll do whatever I can.

Please wake up.

Please, Bansuk.

Born again?

He's been treated well, so he will get well if he takes some rest.

You...

Did you mean it when you said you can do everything for Bansuk?

Pardon?

The one last kiss can make Bansuk human.

Please take well care of him.

Bansuk.

I really like you.

I like you so much!

Don't do anything.

Pardon?

Please don't leave me alone.

Don't drink with any other guys.

Don't talk to anyone.

Don't ignore my calls.

Don't make me feel sad.

Why are there so many "don'ts"?

Instead...

I'll continue to like you this much.

I'll...

keep loving you.

So please don't do anything.

I like you so much, too.

So don't be hurt.

[Jeon Hyewon, Yeonah]

[Bae Inhyeok, Bansuk]
