When the stars come out And it's night once more
It's time to go To the School of Roars
So wake up, monsters And stretch your paws
Jump up and go To the School of Roars
School of Roars School of Roars
It's time to go To the School of Roars
School of Roars School of Roars
You growl and grow At the School of Roars
School of Roars School of Roars
It's time to go To the School of Roars.
[all] ROAR!
[narrator] It was another super-snufflesome night
at the School of Roars,
and the monsters were excited
because a photographer was coming to take the class photo.
Hold still. You want to look nice in the photo, don't you?
Mummy!
I want to see those teeth gleaming.
Stop flitting about and let me brush you down.
Oh!
-Aw! -Oh, Mummy!
Meepa, Meepa!
Today's the day I'm having my picture taken.
Do you like my new bow, Wufflebump?
Gorgeous, isn't it?
I'm going to look monster-mazing in our class photo.
[bell rings]
[all] Bye! Bye-bye!
ROAR!
Oh, I can see you're all looking very smart for our class photo.
Come on, Tripod! Busy, busy, busy.
Say good roaring to Mr Snapper.
He's going to take your photograph.
[all] Good roaring, Mr Snapper!
ROAR!
Good roaring, monsters.
ROAR!
Now, if you could gather over here in a group.
[kids laugh]
[Wingston strains]
Let's have the tallest at the back, please.
You heard Mr Snapper - tallest at the back.
[they groan]
Lovely.
Yummble, stop biting your tentacles.
Yum!
Icklewoo, don't hide.
Wingston, stop flapping.
Oh, well done, Wufflebump.
You're sitting beautifully.
Everybody ready? Say "stinky cheese".
[all] Stinky cheese!
-[click] -Hm. Let's try another one, shall we?
[all] Stinky cheese!
[click]
Meepa! You have to sit still for the photo.
I'm trying.
OK. And again...
..and again, and again.
Ta-da!
Well, that will have to do, I'm afraid.
I'm frightfully busy today.
I'll get the photos to you this afternoon. Bye!
ROAR!
-Oh, class, your photos have arrived back. -whoa!
ALL: Yay!
Oh, how exciting.
-[all gibbering] -Let me see!
Oh, my claws!
[Meepa] That's a nice one.
-[all] Huh?! -Where are we?
Don't worry, there are plenty more to choose from.
Oh.
[they groan]
[they groan]
[they groan]
I think they're all lovely.
But everyone has to be in the class photo, Meepa. Not just you.
Don't worry. [laughs]
I'll phone Mr Snapper.
Maybe he can come back and take another photo of everyone. Hum!
Ooh!
Meepa, you need to learn how to sit still.
Oh!
Wufflebump, you were really good at sitting still for the photo.
Why don't you teach Meepa how to do it?
OK, Meepa.
I'll growl to five,
see if you can stay still for that long.
Sneezy-peazy.
One, two, three...
-A worm! -Meepa!
You weren't supposed to move.
Oops, I forgot.
Maybe it will help if you try balancing a book on your head.
La-la-la-la-la
Oh, very good.
Huh? Oh, I haven't read this one.
Oh.
Um...pretend you're a statue!
Statues don't move.
[strains]
That's it.
Ah...ah...choo!
Oh, dear. I just can't sit still.
Cheer up, Meepa.
Mr Snapper's not coming back till tomorrow.
Maybe you could practice sitting still at home.
That's what I'll do.
I'll practice and practice and practice,
and tomorrow, I'll be perfect.
ROAR!
Nighty-night, Meepa-moo.
Night, Mummy.
Sweet screams.
Time to practice sitting still for the photo.
Right. Now, I mustn't move.
[strains]
Oh! Oh, oh, there's that slime bar.
I thought I lost that.
Yum, yum, yum!
Aw, I moved.
I'll try again.
No moving this time.
[strains]
Oh! Itchy arms!
Aw, now I've moved again.
Must sit still.
Uh! I need to go to the loo!
ROAR!
Good roaring, everyone.
ROAR!
[all] Good roaring, Miss Grizzlesniff.
ROAR!
[Meepa moans outside]
Ugh, I didn't get any sleep.
I was too busy trying to sit still.
-Roar... -Oh.
[screaming]
Quick, quick, quick, quick, quick!
I'm in a horrendous hurry.
I've only got time to take one photo so, please, let's get it right.
[they giggle]
[moans]
Come on, Meepa.
[snores]
[all] Huh?
Miss, Meepa's asleep.
Everybody ready? Say "stinky cheese".
[all] Stinky cheese!
-Wha?! -Right, that's it, I'm off.
Busy, busy, busy.
ROAR!
Oh, class, your photos have arrived back.
Oh!
[kids bheer]
I do hope everyone was sitting still. [chuckles]
-Oh! -[all] Monster-mazing!
You all did brilliantly -
especially you, Meepa.
-Meepa? -[class] Huh?!
[snores]
-[all giggle] -Sh. Best not wake her.
[narrator] So the class photo was a big success.
And Meepa learned that she could keep still after all,
but only when she's sleeping.
[all] Shh! [they roar softly]
