[narrator] It was another super-snufflesome night

at the School of Roars

and each little monster had brought in a surprise to share.

Good roaring, monsters.

Rawr!

[all] Good roaring, Miss Grizzlesniff!

[all] Rawr!

Today is show and tell.

Did you all remember to bring something special

to show the rest of the class?

[all] Yes!

Yummble, would you like to go first?

Rawr!

This is my guzzlespoon.

I use it to guzzle big gulps of slime.

Yum, yum! [slurps]

[all] Ooh! [laugh]

Wonderful, Yummble.

Pop your spoon on the show-and-tell table

and everyone can look at it later.

Icklewoo, have you got something to show?

-This is my snappy-plant. -[chomp]

-Oh! -Its favourite food is slugs.

Wow! It's big!

-[chomp-chomp] -[chuckles]

What a lovely, friendly plant. [chuckles]

Who'd like to go next?

These are my icky-stickers.

They're super sticky. [boing]

I collect them in my book.

See? [boing]

[laughing]

[all] Ooh! [chuckles]

Would you like to see my giddy-glasses, Miss?

They change colour every time I blink!

-Whoaaaaa! -[chuckles] Oh!

[groans]

I think we'd better save them for the playground, Wingston.

Wufflebump, have you got something to show us?

Yes! I made some yummy monster biscuits to share with everyone.

Aagh!

Where have my biscuits gone?!

-Rawr! -Growlbert!

-You naughty thing! -Ruff!

Oh, my claws!

Who is Growlbert?

-He's my dog. -Ruff! [pants]

He must have snuck into my bag.

Now he's eaten all my show-and-tell biscuits.

You can tell us all about Growlbert instead.

-[growls happily] Ruff! -OK.

I got him when he was a puppy.

He loves digging.

And he does tricks.

-He can sit... -Ruff!

-...stand... -Ruff!

...and howl.

[howls]

Wow! What does he eat?

Bungle bones, mostly.

He thinks they're treasure,

so he buries them.

-Huh? -Oh, no, no, no.

He's super-snufflesome, Wufflebump,

but we can't have him digging holes in class.

[whines]

Why don't you sit him down in the squishy corner?

-Come on, Growlbert. -Ruff!

Oh. [chuckles]

Rawr!

Now, class, I'd like you to write about your show-and-tell item.

Off you go.

Uh, "Growlbert is my pet." [growlbert's paws thump]

"He's got very noisy paws."

-Huh? -[growls]

[growls]

[meepa hums melody]

Can I fetch my sticker book to draw?

Can I get my snappy-plant?

And my guzzle-spoon?

OK. But be quick.

-Meepa first! -[all giggle]

[all] Whoo-hoo! Yeah!

Have you seen my icky-sticker book?

I left it right here.

-Show me your paws. -Ohhh.

Hmm.

See? No icky-stickers.

Maybe your plant ate them.

[growlbert barks, growls]

Oh! My plant! It's gone!

-Did you squash it with your spoon? -[growls and chews]

No.

[gasps] Oh! My spoon has gone too!

A footprint.

It must belong to whoever took my spoon.

Show me your feet.

[both] Ohh...

-Hmm. -Ruff!

Aagh!

Has anyone seen my giddy-glasses?

Someone's taken them.

[all shout at once]

Class! I can't hear when you all roar at once.

Where have all the show-and-tell items gone?

[all] It's her fault!

It's not nice to go blaming one another.

Now, did any of you take the show-and-tell items?

[all] No.

Then I think you should all say sorry.

[all] Sorry.

Cuddles!

If we all work together, we might find the missing things.

Did anyone see or hear anything strange?

I heard strange, stompy noises in the classroom.

Flump, flump.

And I saw a footprint.

Like that one.

And that one. And that one!

Follow those footprints!

-[all giggle] -Oh...

[growling]

That cushion -

it's alive!

It's not the cushion, it's...

-[all] Growlbert! -Ruff!

Has he been burying bungle bones?

[chuckles] No.

I think he's found some other treasure to bury.

[all] Our missing things!

-Ruff! -Oh! No, Growlbert!

I think Growlbert better go outside before he breaks something.

Oops! Oh, my claws!

The door handle's broken.

We're trapped in the classroom!

-[growls] -Don't worry, Miss.

Growlbert will rescue us.

[Icklewoo] He's tunnelling under the door!

-[Growlbert] Ruff! Ruff! -Oh, clever Growlbert!

But how will he reach the handle on the other side?

He can use one of his tricks.

Growlbert, stand!

[growls] Ruff! Ruff!

-Ruff! -[all] Hooray!

Oh, good boy!

You deserve a gold star for your excellent digging skills.

Look, Growlbert, you're teacher's pet!

[howls]

[all laugh]

Rawr!

[narrator] So, Growlbert wasn't sent outside after all.

Instead, he was allowed to snoozle on the comfiest cushion in class.

And every little monster agreed

he was the best show-and-tell surprise ever.
