There's very little time
for me to breathe and relax

and take a moment
to get my life together,

because everything's moving
so fast.

There's a lot of times where I
wish I could clear out my mind,

clear out the clutter
in my life.

So now, more than a year
past that,

you know, everything's
been going a lot more smoothly.

We started rehearsal
many hours late,

and I could not get started.

However, I wasn't in charge

of what time we started

as if they haven't been
doing this for 24 shows.

because I've brushed my teeth.

around in a theater all day,

can honestly be quite tiring,

two, three hours of makeup

before all of that.

a lot going on,

so when it's off, it's nice.

you get your star moment,
and then it starts to dwindle.

I'm not in
a million people's living rooms

doesn't mean that I'm not having
a couple thousand people

come to my show each night.

And then as far
as moving forward

and trying to stay up to date
and fresh,

just because it's not broken,

doesn't mean you can't fix it up
a little bit.

All the girls in the cast
love mixing up our makeup

and trying different things,

swapping wigs, trying
to learn from each other.

And I think, you know,
that type of community

really helps us
move with the times and change,

and I think that's what drag
in 2020 is all about.

I definitely miss being home.

I miss--New York nightlife
for me is like life.

It is, you know, the basis of
my inspiration to do what I do.

something I always long for

now that I'm not home a lot.

So Ty Sunderland is one
of my best friends in New York.

We met a couple years ago.

He wanted me
to do one of his events,

and sadly, I couldn't do it

because I was off
filming Drag Race.

A really great excuse.

He's always
just been very supportive.

He knows me definitely
through my highs and my lows.

He's my Ty and I'm his Aqua,

and we're like
a match made in heaven.

Ty booked me at Pride in 2017,

and I've been leeching gigs
off of him ever since.

Honestly, we just,
like, clicked immediately.

Like, she's an Aquarius,
I'm a Gemini.

We're both, like,
very dedicated to what we do.

I went from not being confident

to now I'm like...

but it doesn't feel like

a greater love
for the people in my life,

a bigger appreciation

for any sort of relationships

to miss more.
