Hotel King

[Previously]

Don’t go back to him again.

I’ll…

…protect you.

I love you.

Don’t ever get close to you.

You’ll die.

Do I really die…

…if I love you?

No.

If I can’t love you…

…I’ll die.

I’m dreaming right now.

It’s a dream I’m allowed for just one day.

Come back to me Jaden.

You can’t win me.

Cha Jae Wan…

…won’t break Ah Mo Ne’s trust…

…ever.

This trust…

…you made it up alone.

[EP14 Hotel King]

How could you…

Why are you…!

So…

…you shouldn’t trust me in the first place.

Cha Jae Wan!

Don’t trust me…

…ever.

Do I have to...

...believe that you’re helping the vice-chairman...

...to ruin the hotel?

Having a casino isn’t a business to ruin the hotel.

Giving us good cash flow...

...attracting foreign tourists reviving the local economy…

Stop!

This isn’t the one I want to hear from you!

We promised to do it together…

…in Ciel…

…we promised to build...

...my father’s dream together.

I…

…didn’t make that promise to you.

What ruins Ciel isn’t the vice-chairman…

…but it’s the former chairman Ah’s absurd ideal.

Will you come back to me?

You don’t...

...want me to wait for you?

Answer me!

Will you come back to me!

I never went to you in the first place.

I brought it for you I thought you might need this.

Are you okay?

What is?

Nevermind.

Then.

Cha Su Wan.

You need to work for the chairman only.

Yes.

Hello. Mr. Vice-chairman.

Darn it! Darn it darn it!

Jesus.

Jesus Christ.

You!

I’m sorry.

How can you deal with important business…

…if you can’t handle a little girl like her?

You must enjoy...

...the business trip to China...

...with your sister.

Don’t let her do anything!

I meant nothing!

I don’t care whether you strangle her or tear her off to do that!

Okay. I will.

So...

...we can accomplish our goal.

I’ll keep that in mind.

Oh my.

Why are you taking out of your cap from there?

I always keep it there.

- Is it your precious or something? - Yes.

That's weird.

Are you having tea time?

- Yes. - Ah yes.

But then what’s wrong with you face?

That’s…

…Ms. Chairman.

Please hear it from Miss Da Jung.

Ms. Chairman.

I’d like to tell you something as a member of your family.

Go ahead.

Miss funny-looking Yoon Da Jung.

This is about a peer review...

...which General Manager talked about…

…I’ve thought about it but I still can’t do it.

Let me add my opinion as a manager in duty.

After GM announced that we must resign...

...if anyone of us isn’t confident with the new system…

…actually it’s a bit brutal and a bit cruel…

…ten staff members resigned today from the Business support team...

...General affairs team F&B team…

…Guest room management team and Maintenance team as well.

I know that GM has a good point in introducing the new system…

…but in our perspective we’re a little unfamiliar with this.

Don’t worry.

- I’ll meet General Manager… - Talk to me now please.

Did you say that you’re unfamiliar with it?

Then I’m explaining to you what this is like.

You have significantly low work ability...

...due to the lack of English language skills.

You appease your supervisor’s comment...

...by smiling which used to work in the old days.

You’re incapable of dealing with difficult guests.

You make up rumors by spreading words internally.

It’s unfair to describe me with those words.

You have personal conversations during working hours...

...and you don’t co-operate with your colleagues.

Do you want me to continue?

He makes guests happy...

...with his pleasant way of speaking and smiling face.

He’s able to report to his superior the specific information…

…he’s a humorous person he makes everyone happy.

Unlike someone else...

...she is an honest staff member of mine.

Would you like me to continue Mr. General Manager?

Your personal feelings should be mentioned in your diary.

Remember this.

If you can’t assess your peer or if you give up doing it…

…then it’s your loss.

It’s because you don’t know...

...how your peers assess you in the meantime.

I’d like to tell you this one more time…

…if you aren’t able to comply with the new system...

Mr. General Manager.

You alienate the staff members.

You think highly of your working ability…

…and look down on your superior the chairman.

You repeatedly tell lies.

Your performance rating is almost low as a ground to layoff.

I’m sorry but…

…you don’t have authority over me.

It’s bloody.

You never know what’s going on between a man and a woman.

The party is over.

General Manager was too much this time.

He didn’t introduce this system to hurt other’s feelings.

God.

I don’t know what he’s thinking these days.

I haven’t finished talking.

Don’t touch my staff. Actually...

...don’t touch them please Mr. General Manager.

I’m not telling you this as Ah Mo Ne…

…but it’s an order from the chairman of Ciel.

Since when you have been so attached to the staff?

Do you know all kinds of recent incidents...

...accidents and rumors are generated by you?

It isn’t a peer review system...

...which agitates the staffs but…

…it’s your outrageous behavior that you’ve shown so far.

You’re a bastard.

Are you telling me this as Ah Mo Ne not the chairman?

No both.

Stop!

Mr. General Manager.

Are you going home?

Then can you drop me off at home on your way?

Sure.

It’s like the 007 spy mission.

Anyways I’d like to choose a centerpiece flower...

...of the surprise birthday party by myself…

…what is my father's favorite flower?

I think it’s some kind of yellow.

What is it?

She is my real sister...

...who shares the same blood with me…

…Lee Jung Ku’s blood.

Huh?

Why he is with her?

Thank you.

You’re welcome.

By the way…

…this is the list you asked me last time.

Wow. You’d never disappoint me.

Thank you.

What is he doing?

Ah…

I think it’s better to keep the secret...

...about me driving you home today.

He’s highly sensitive about these things...

...so I’m worried that he’d find out about the party.

I got what you mean.

Okay. Goodbye.

I’m back.

Lee Da Bae.

Why don’t you come home early on the days...

...when father gets off work early?

He's been waiting.

Daddy.

I’m sorry.

By the way where’re you coming from?

Huh?

That’s…

…I met my friend.

Which friend?

It’s always the same.

She’d meet Yun Ji.

Well.

Yes. She’s right.

I get to go change.

She isn’t late much…

…you seem too sensitive.

Do I?

One…

Two…

Three…

I never went to you in the first place.

You’re a bastard!

Huh?

You’re Cha Jae Wan’s cat.

Go away!

Go!

Actually it's good to see you.

If you live in such a bad person’s house...

...then you’ll be like him.

Ok? Here you go.

Kitty.

Would you like to live with me and not go back to his house?

Okay. I think it’s a good idea.

Let’s live together.

Why?

Do I smell alcohol?

Kitty! Where are you going?

Why are you giving me a hard time?

I told you that you’ll become like him if you’re here.

You can’t…

…you can’t do this to me.

Come here.

You can’t…

...go anywhere.

Don’t…

…go anywhere.

I’ll go back to you.

I’ll cleanse all my dirt...

...so I’ll make myself clean…

…and...

...I’ll live with you.

You surprised me!

What are you doing here?

We’re here to clean up…

…and we found you sleeping outside.

Sleeping outside?

I came out to get some fresh air…

…and I was in the middle of meditation.

But then…

…why here?

Is it a problem to meditate in my garden?

Why am I here?

Where’s General Manager?

He didn’t get out yet right?

No. He just went to work.

What? Then he saw me here?

Yes.

And he told us to get you out of here on his way.

You haven’t been in Korea for a long time.

How do you feel?

As long as I can see you the place doesn’t matter to me.

Ah actually this place is very interesting.

Wow. The chairman does have a temper.

You met her.

I just saw her.

I won’t be boring…

…General Manager is interesting person too.

Don’t look down on General Manager.

Be slow and cautious.

Don’t worry.

It’d take longer than I thought…

…but we’re almost there.

Who do you want me to start with?

Ah…

Mo…

Ne.

What ruins Ciel isn’t the vice-chairman…

…but it’s the former chairman Ah’s absurd ideal.

It isn’t a peer review system which agitates the staff but…

…it’s your outrageous behavior that you’ve shown so far.

I never went to you in the first place.

Watch out.

You’d fall if you’re doing like that.

You look dangerous…

…like a person who climbs up to fall...

...rather to achieve the top.

Are you okay?

You know me right?

I hope not but…

…you’re too famous.

You followed me here?

You’re pretty...

...but not as much as making me follow you.

Take my hand.

It’s you…

…the one who is trying to ruin my hotel.

Casino isn’t a bad thing.

Of course it isn’t illegal either.

Not in Ciel…

…I have a different plan for it.

Why not?

It’s reasonable to have a casino in this scale of hotel.

Don’t you want to earn money?

Ha!

Aren’t you too young to crave money?

Gold and feces have the same color.

Get away from the hotel quickly…

…and don’t ever come back here.

She didn’t read the newspaper and folded it into an airplane.

She didn’t have breakfast and had a pint of ice cream.

That’s enough.

I don’t have much left.

She hasn’t started work yet and went out from the residence with a bicycle…

…and requested equipment for climbing...

- ...so she’d… - Cha Su Wan.

Yes.

Do you think that I’d like to know everything about the chairman?

If you don’t like to say it this way...

…I’d say that I’m monitoring her this time.

You can’t…

…you can’t do this to me.

Come here.

You can’t…

...go anywhere.

I was about to contact you anyways…

…thank you for whiskey you sent me last night.

Since you know my taste of whiskey exactly…

…I assume that you finished screening me.

Have a seat.

No.

I haven’t finished it yet.

Excluding educational background and careers…

…all your personal information is shrouded in mystery.

I think it’s same for you too.

Do you think that you can control me with my weakness?

Are you a person to be controlled?

No.

This isn’t interesting to me either.

I just need more time…

…since the plan changed.

I fall into an ambush.

The chairman Ah Mo Ne.

I knew it.

This will be really interesting.

The chairman isn’t related to this matter.

Don’t approach to her.

I came here to tell you this.

She is the reason…

…of your battle which you put your life on.

Your eyes agitated for the first time.

I will refer to what you’ve told me anyways.

Do you want to see me?

I…

...want to make my father’s dream come true.

I called you...

...because I thought you’d be able to tell me how I start it.

Help me please.

No.

Can you at least pretend that you’re considering it?

But…

…I’ll do it if it’s an order of the chairman.

You’re my boss.

Director Baek.

I’d like to stop the vice-chairman’s plan of building a casino.

Is there any way to stop him?

You need three people to do it.

Chairman Sun Myeong Jae of Woo Jin farm.

Investor Loman Lee and Cha Jae Wan.

Why Cha Jae Wan?

He is the one who planned for Culture Park…

…since the former chairman was here.

He’s on the vice-chairman’s side now…

…so you have to stop him first.

The owner of the vacant land in the middle of Ciel…

…is Chairman Sun Myeong Jae of Woo Jin farm.

He has close relationship with the vice-chairman...

...so it won’t be easy to persuade him.

If the vice-chairman knows that you’re working for this land...

…then you wouldn’t know what he’d do to stop you.

Work on it with someone you can trust.

Ms. Chairman.

Why are you coming here to see me?

I get to go somewhere with you.

Excuse me?

Hey can’t you speak Korean?

She said she’d like to go somewhere with you.

She wants you among her staff and she wants to do this secretly…

…so you have to go with her. Why?

Because she’s the chairman and she’s beautiful.

Bring him with you.

I’ll drive. Give me the key.

Whoa!

I heard that she broke up with General Manager and it seems true.

Who told you that?

Ms. So Mun Jung saw it when she went to clean up GM’s room…

Did I just admit that I met Ms. So Mun Jung today?

Ah yes. I met her. It was just for a moment.

Don’t misunderstand me we just talked and that's it.

You and she seem to have good relationship still.

I hate you.

Where are you going?

Ms. Chairman. Please.

Stop for a moment.

Why? We’re almost there.

Why are we here?

Do you think that I come to this farm to have fresh milk?

I have a business with chairman of this farm.

I’m not going with you. Meet him alone.

I just need you beside me with a serious look.

I can’t go.

I don’t feel comfortable to be in such a business meeting.

Help me.

I’m the chairman of the hotel I can’t meet him alone.

Okay.

I’ll do it.

I’ll make a serious look…

…and stay tight with you.

Thank you Sun Woo Hyun.

I’d like to meet the chairman of this farm…

…where is he now?

The chairman?

Who are you?

Eh? You came here several days ago…

Hello.

Ah yes.

Do you know where the chairman is by any chance?

Oh.

He’s near the pasture of the mountain goat.

Ah yes. Thank you.

See you later.

Ok.

Have you been here before?

I’m a native of this area.

I work here as a part-timer sometimes.

Do you?

Then have you ever seen the chairman of this farm?

No I haven’t.

Let’s go.

That’s understandable…

…it isn’t easy to meet the chairman as a part-timer.

He’s quite a famous rich local man…

…because most of the land with good views…

…is owned by him.

He’s also known as a money-grubber...

...so remember that next time when you meet him to do business.

Anyone easily swayed by money can easily betray you.

So…

…you want me to sell my land near Ciel to you?

Yes.

I’m asking you.

It isn’t difficult for me but…

…this land is quite big and expensive for you to purchase it personally.

But there’s a market price for it.

Doesn’t it depend on...

...how desperate a buyer is to have the land?

Unfortunately.

I already have someone else who is willing to buy it.

You shouldn’t sell it to the vice-chairman.

I’m the owner of this land so you can’t force me to do it.

I heard that you’re from this area.

Do you really want to fill your hometown...

...with the scent of money and leave it to your children?

I’m sorry to say this but…

…I don’t have any children.

I’m sorry.

It’s because my only son left home and never came back.

If you want to do business…

…you should propose a deal to me instead of asking for a favor.

How much has the vice-chairman suggested you?

Tell me first.

Regardless of how much money you’d offer me…

…he promised me to pay me double it.

I think you’d better go back for today.

Someone told me that…

… anyone easily swayed by money can easily betray too.

I’ll watch you and Lee Jung Ku…

…how long you can keep your partnership with him…

…since both of you are money-grubbers.

Let’s go.

You never change sir.

Do you like her?

You shouldn’t. She’s too out of ordinary.

[Culture Park]

[VIP Personal Information]

[Name Loman Lee]

This is Loman Lee.

He owns real estate not only in major cities of the States...

...but in Hongkong Macao Japan and Europe too.

He’s a millionaire...

...who we can’t easily estimate the scale of his assets…

…and he had close relationship with your father for a long time...

…and he is one of the major investors of Ciel.

What kind of person is he?

Hello.

Are they all gathered up now?

As I explained...

...there’ll be a theme park...

...in this place for guests with children…

…and I’ll make a small farm...

...to provide a farming experience for children on the existing farmland.

Wow.

You’ve planned this more than I thought.

Let’s move there together.

Coo coo...

Come here and eat this.

There’s…

…only one person in this hotel…

…who knows that I’m afraid of birds.

Wait for me here.

Oh!

The chairman is here.

But you look so pale.

You’d better go back and get some rest.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

Why don’t you just come to me Cha Jae Wan?

You’ve had enough already.

How far will you go?

You and me…

…do you know why we failed to get together?

It’s because…

…we love ourselves more than each other.

Both of us…

…had to protect ourselves...

...to live our lives.

Ah Mo Ne…

…is she different?

Yes she’s different.

She looks at me first...

...even when she hurts so bad.

This is the way I chose.

You don’t know how happy it makes me...

...to have a person to go back to.

I feel miserable.

Go your own way.

I told you that I’m not the one for you.

It’s late.

Go back and get some rest.

No.

Hug me.

Hug me.

You’re crazy.

I want you to hug me.

I was so afraid today.

My hands were trembling...

...and my heart shrank with fear…

…and I could barely breathe…

…but I had no one.

There’s no one...

...who saved me from there.

It has to be you.

The one who would save me from there…

…it has to be you.

This is all I want…

…this is...

...all I need.

Get out of my house.

If I hug you now…

…my father will...

...kill you.

How would you know that I’m here?

I sent your driver home.

You always become sick on this day.

I’ll drive you home.

You haven’t forgotten it yet.

Yes.

It’s good to have you here my son.

[Radio]

Mother are you alright?

Let me...

...take a break for a moment.

Mother!

You’re so mean…

…and pathetic.

Aren’t you going to the vice-chairman’s birthday party?

Why am I going there?

Go there.

I prepared your gift for him.

Director Baek.

This will be a gift for everyone.

I gave a sick patient medicine.

Why does that make me guilty?

You’re the one who made him sick!

Eventually…

…you drove him crazy…

…so nothing would even be found in his autopsy.

You aren’t the one who pushed him…

…but you still killed him.

Even if…

…what you’re saying is true…

…you’ll never get away from me.

Don’t you like my gift?

What…

...is this?

This is the truth…

…you want to know.

Happy birthday to you.

Happy birthday to you.

Dear the vice-chairman...

Happy birthday to you.

Wow!

Thank you for coming to celebrate my birthday…

When did you prepare this?

This is a surprise birthday gift from me and mom.

- Oh my. - Congratulations dad.

Okay. Thank you.

Is this Myeong In Hospital?

Excuse me? You didn’t know?

Dr. Yoon Jang Woo passed away a while ago from a car accident.

You heard it didn't you?

The General Manager already knew about it too…

…a long time ago.

Are you scared…

…about how much General Manager contributed to this?

This trust…

…you made it up alone…

…regardless of my feelings.

Don’t trust me…

…ever.

It isn’t true.

The one who killed my father...

...is Lee Jung Ku.

It isn’t you.

You are just…

Dad.

I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry for you.

Because I love...

...the person…

…who harassed you dad.

I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry dad.

What the hell are you doing?

Where are you going sir?

I’m already late. Get out of my way.

You seem to be going to the vice-chairman’s party…

…so I can’t let you go.

Go back.

Who do you think you are?

You’re just a concierge.

I’m the one who raised and educated you...

...so you can work in the hotel…

It’s the chairman Ah who saved me.

I died when sister died...

...because of you.

I’m living like a human being because of the chairman Ah.

The stupid old man...

...ruined my smart son like this.

Go back.

And don’t ever come back to Ciel again…

…unless you want to lose your son for real.

Even if you’re doing this…

…the chairman Ah Mo Ne wouldn’t look at you.

It doesn’t matter.

Wow this is the place.

I couldn’t stop myself from walking here…

…because of the smell of food.

I’m disappointed in you…

…why didn’t you invite me?

Jae Wan.

Why didn’t you invite the chairman?

She deserves to be a guest of the party.

I didn’t invite her because I thought she’s busy.

It’s okay it’s okay.

But then I’m sorry.

I couldn’t prepare a good gift for you...

...because I didn’t have much time.

Happy birthday.

Thank you.

Let’s see.

It was on my father’s desk.

The three of you were really close before.

Unfortunately.

Two of them aren’t here anymore.

So I thought that you’d miss them.

If they are here today...

I would…

Honey.

This is a good day.

Yes.

They’d be happy for you since this is a good day...

So don’t be too sad.

I think it’s my mistake to give you this as a gift for you.

Let me change the mood here.

I brought you wine the one you like.

Mr. General Manager. Please.

[Bordo International] [1975 Courgeois]

Why aren’t you opening it?

Open it for us...

...so I can have a wine with the chairman.

I wish that you to live a long and healthy life.

Sure.

Thank you.

Ah by the way…

…this wine is from CEO of Bordo International…

…as an apology for causing us so much trouble.

God helped him to live.

I don’t want to imagine...

...what would've happen if he really died.

You’re a person...

...who was born to be loved...

You’ll be loved...

...in your life.

God’s love...

...started from the beginning of the world...

Don’t provoke the vice-chairman.

Why? Are you scared?

I’ll call Cha Su Wan for you.

She’ll bring you home.

No thank you.

I’m actually enjoying the party.

I need to go to the restroom.

Good job. Good job.

Let’s go. Sit down.

The recording file isn’t enough.

I need solid evidence…

…the reason why he killed my father…

…and the one which Lee Jung Ku is desired of.

[Ah Sung Won Lee Jung Ku]

You…

…what are you doing in here?

I was looking for something…

…and I broke the frame by mistake.

What...

...are you looking for in my room?

You…!

I’ve been with many people today…

…so I’m tired now.

Thank you for what you’ve done today.

You’re welcome.

I’ll take care of the guest from now on.

Go get some rest.

Okay.

You always...

...listen to me well…

…you even deceived chairman Ah to work for me.

As you’ve done until now…

…you should be loyal to me in the future too.

Just like now.

Okay?

Okay.

I get to go have some rest now.

Darn it.

I told you that if you turn your back to me again…

…it’ll make me too pitiful Jaden.

It’s me.

The one who killed my father…

…is Lee Jung Ku right?

No.

You knew that…

…Lee Jung Ku killed my father right?

No.

He’s lying…

…he’s lying to me.

I’ll find it out…

…the one you’re trying to hide from me…

…I’ll find it.

You...

Who are you?

I just lost…

…a person to go back.
