Episode 27: The Battles of Komaki and Nagakute

Lord Hideyoshi forced Lord Nobutaka to die?

The 2nd son, Nobutaka's chief retainer

came to report this to you in person.

After the defeat of Shibata Katsuie,

Lord Hashiba ordered my lord, Oda Nobukatsu

to attack his brother, Nobutaka's Gifu castle.

His reason was that Lord Nobutaka

was preventing the Oda clan from being united.

Most of Lord Nobutaka's retainers had escaped,

and was forced to surrender his castle to us.

in the name of our lord, Nobukatsu, he had to die.

took 600 guns and 3,000 men to face the Hori army.

Today's battle is decisive.

Ieyasu will realize what Ikeda has done.
