[ Chapter 3: I am finally free ]

Mu Juechen, there's an extent to where you don't respect someone.

Even if I'm your maid, what right do you have to kiss me?

You are overthinking it. I just slipped under my feet earlier.

Not to mention getting taken advantage of, you even dared to bite me.

Okay. Don't worry, no one will take advantage of you anymore.

Release Feng Ming and I'll leave the pavilion right now.

Leave? Your leaving or not is up to me.

Did I let you leave?

It's been 10 years.

Which time did I not try my best to help you and assist you?

But now, I only want to leave you and Qianyun Mountain Pavilion.

Because of Feng Ming?

All for an outsider disciple, you will give up everything here?

Do you know how many girls envy you in this world

yet you don't know?

Money and status.

Yes, if I follow you then I have all of it but I don't want it.

I just want to have some days, even if it's just a few days, I want to truly live happily.

Happy?

You mean you followed me for 10 years

and you weren't happy?

I have spoiled you.

It seems like you stayed at Qianyun Mountain Pavilion for too long.

You don't know the danger of this world, not to mention how to get food and shelter.

Without me, if you meet a bad person

you don't even have the ability to fight back.

Do you think everyone let's you bite them just like me?

When I'm outside, nothing is your business.

All you have to do is agree.

You.

Why don't I let her experience what having nothing is.

Within ten days, she'll definitely come back crying and beg me.

Okay. I will give you ten days of freedom.

- After ten days, if you don't go back on your words then I'll fulfill your wish. - That's what you said.

I'm afraid that after a few days,

You would come back cying.

I won't be Young Master Mu, don't look for me during these ten days.

Looking for you? I won't have time, I'll be saving and protect the world.

It's effective now.

We can't meet each other for ten days.

Whoever break the agreement, will be a servant forever.

- Based on what? - Are you afraid that you'll lose?

Ridiculous. When did I ever lose?

That... servant forever is too extreme.

How about this? Three wishes. The loser

has to fulfill three wishes from the winner.

It's a deal.

Don't think too much.

You're my maid after all. I don't want people to look down upon you.

I will take care of myself.

Please also be tolerate towards Feng Ming.

I believe young master won't give disciple from other sect a hard time.

You don't even want the money I give you?

Too much pride but no common sense.

Ten days? If I calculated correctly...

of course, I wouldn't miscalculate.

Xiao Yu will come and apologize within two hours.

Young Master!

Young Master, Little Flute...

If she came to apologize then tell her that I'll reconsider.

Perhaps, I will forgive her.

What I mean is Little Flute has finish packing and she's about to leave.

This is what you left you.

You didn't use the method that I told you to make her stay?

She even knows that she's not worthy of this gift.

Young master, don't be irritated.

If it's because of this Little Flute then leave her to me.

I'm willing to help you with your anxiousness and troublesome.

Which eye of yours see me nervous?

Move?

She wants to move alone?

Unreasonable. Without showing her some consequence . . .

All these years, she doesn't know my grace towards her.

Forget it. Can't because of her capricious to mess up

my will for saving the world.

Today, is another perfect day.

Drought in SanHe County has last for a long time,

hope young master can held a ceremony for Qian Yu(rain praying)

They should just say to beg for rain. What is this praying for rain!

In Luobei, there is a talented woman.

But someone injured her sound ability.

This woman was versed in music and her flute playing was exceptional.

So what if you know how to play the little flute? Why aren't you playing the guzheng?

What is all this silly petition!

It's time to visit father.

Oh right, let's go find father.

Let's have a walk with father.

Xiao Yu, keep me company...

Qian Zhan.

Who let you go to Xiao Yu's home?

You.

I haven't employed you in a while and you can't even conduct a chariot?

I don't punish you this time. Don't thank me.

We already came. See if there's anything that needs help with moving

and lend her a hand.

I can't meet her right now or else she'll say that I refuse to acknowledge it.

She'll say that I lost.

What?

Even though she moved out of Mountain Pavilion right now

but I'm responsible towards her.

Xiao Yu, I didn't purposely come to visit you.

Qian Zhan, is your eldest brother after all.

He insisted on helping you move.

- Hence, I came to help you. - There's no one.

She even moved the bed?

She's so mighty! Why doesn't she just take the walls with her too!

Come in!

Where is she?

Replying to Young Master. Miss Qian Yu is currently attending a farewell party at Lord Qian Xiao's.

She didn't even call me?

Because you are a party pooper.

[ Duck Flying and Fish Leaping ]

It's probably due to women's slower senses,

affecting their sense of sadness.

It has been 4 hours already,

Her sorrow should've went from her heart to her brain.

Right now, she should be crying.

It's this one. It's the most

suitable to wipe her tears.

It's effective now. We cannot meet each other during these ten days.

Whoever break the agreement, will be a servant forever.

It wouldn't be considered meeting if it's like this right?

How cunning! That's how you're fighting me?

You want to use me so that I can't find a woman's shortcoming.

You're really something. I hope you

don't cry too much by that time.

Cheers to freedom.

Cheers!

Xiao Yu, after leaving the Mountain Pavilion, what plans do you and Er Long have?

It wasn't easy to have freedom so of course we have to go out and enjoy it, right?

I got fired so doesn't matter where I go.

I'll just follow Xaio Yu boss.

- Once you left, we don't even know how to serve Young Master. - That's right.

You don't know but Young Master actually wants to let you stay.

Him?

No.

He can't endure the glory that I gave him.

- Do I seem like him? - Yes, you imitated him so well.

Pretend to be happy.

Who is it?

I'll go take a look.

Xiao Yu. What's wrong?

Nothing.

Come on, let's keep drinking.

Come on, keep eating.

Come on, let's have a drink.

Little Flute, the rain is so heavy and you're still leaving.

Seems like we really can't let you stay.

Xiao Yu, remember to write me letters.

Of course.

Then we are leaving.

- Have a safe trip. - Be safe.

We're leaving, Qian Xiao.

Take care of Little Flute.

No problem.

After this farewell, we don't know when we'll be able to meet.

Thankfully we have the sleeve-communication method.

Communicate?

That's right. Good thing Little Flute learned it.

We can keep in touch.

When it comes to taking care of this trouble some Young Master,

there will be quite a lot of trouble,

- right Young Master? - That's right.

Young Master.

You are...

What are you looking at? I'm afraid you will feel ashamed due to my beauty.

so I put on a veil. Didn't you say

to hide my light

but I can't hide it.

[ Yu ]

What is this?

Xiao Yu gave these spice bags to us saying that it's a memory.

Do you not have one, Young Master?

Of course I have one.

We master and servant have a deep relationship so of course I have a single one

And it's bigger than this.

Young Master, please return this small one to me then.

Qianyun Mountain Pavilion has rules that disciples aren't allowed to accept gifts.

I'm taking this spice bag.

What rule?

I personally just made it just now.

What?

Nothing.

It's good.

It's been ten years and you never sent me an spice bag.

But it's alright. Someone with a mind as clear as moon . .

I won't argue with you about this

But you left me.

You don't even have money. I wonder how bad you're living.

Miss, I only have this money left.

How come you didn't take the money Young Master gave you?

We don't even have money to get food.

Why do we need his money?

Don't worry, if you follow me then I won't let you suffer.

You are young master's favorite person.

You don't have to do this for us.

Who said that I was forced out?

You're busy being back and forth.

Wait for me.

If one day, I'm not willing to follow you and Qianyun Mountain Pavilion,

are you willing to give her freedom?

This is a good shop. It's this one.

[ Tianlai Tavern ]

This is the pretext. You sneak in as part-time help.

Find a red spice in the back kitchen.

Fill all the guihua soups for customers with it.

Then...

- Waiter. - Coming!

Customer, what would you like to eat?

Drink.

- I didn't order this. - The Boss gave it.

Drink.

Where's your boss!

Hurry and come out. This is too overboard.

This must be poison.

He's the Boss.

I said that I didn't use poison.

You're still being stubborn. Look at my brothers.

Look at them.

That's right.

Let our boss go.

Bring him to the government office.

Send him to the government office.

- Send him to the government office. - Make way.

Everyone listen to me.

There's no help to everyone by sending him to the government office.

Why don't he pay for your room and food?

And spare him having to serve jail time.

You. Good, it's you.

It was you who secretly went to the kitchen just then.

It wasn't me.

- You— - Auntie Hua, get the money and we'll pay.

Pay the money? What's the point of paying money? We're about to lose our lives.

Exactly!

Everyone.

If you send him to the government office

you still have to earn money to find the physician to cure yourselves.

From what I see,

this... should be discussed privately.

Miss, this is not appropriate. I'm an official.

The law must be enforced. How can I let this be settled privately?

I suggest that everyone who is poisoned gets one hundred taels

- and the ones that die from poison get one thousand taels. - She's still talking?

One thousand taels?

- How about it? - What Miss said makes sense.

My magistrate has to deal with a lot of problems every day.

He always tells us if it can privately be discussed then do it.

Give money.

Give money.

- Give the money. - Don't be overboard.

- How could we have so much money right now? - Give the money.

You are trying to rip us off. Don't dream of reneging on your debt.

We don't have any.

Everyone, I'm not familar with him

but I'm willing to help everyone to resolve your anger.

How about this?

The money he owes everyone

I will help him pay.

Miss, you're such a good person.

- Miss, you're such a good person. - That's right.

Sign it!

[Contract]

I promise to make good food for Xiao Yu for forever

until she gets tired of it.

Brother, you said that you wold make tasty food for me to eat forever. You're not allowed to go back on it.

I'm willing to.

[Shen Mingxiu]

[ Convey Sun and Luck ]

[Shen Mingxiu]

[Short letter...]

[that can't expresses profund love]

A short letter that can't expresses profund love?

Young Master, I didn't expect that our Queen Heart's Sutra

could help you grow.

I'm very pleased.

Qian Xiao, you still don't understand Xiao Yu.

I'm using these phrases to help her express her lovesickness for not being able to see me for the past days.

Flowers fell, amidst where she stood alone.

It drizzled, and a pair of swallows played.

Yearn?

I'm guessing that the ten days is about to arrive.

Go send people to pick her up.

Don't let the rain fall on her clothes.

If she catches a cold then

and pass it to me then it'll ruin things.

Young Master, it has only been one days since Little Flute has left.

Qian Xiao, my concept of time has never been wrong.

This one day, how is it possible...

[2nd day of lunar month]

Why are you so boring?

I'm just joking with you.

You've disappointed me.

Young Master, your act just then

was too real. I was scared.

Say, it's been so long and Qian Yu hasn't wrote a letter to me.

Could she have fallen prey to someone's plot?

Young Master, you and Little Flute

have been only separated for less than a day.

I'm guessing that you definitely got

a weird illness where you feel like time is being pulled longer.

As for this weird illness, there's two methods.

The first one is to directly contact her.

The second one is immediately focus on something else.

Are you telling me to lower myself and attend to her?

No way.

Then you.

She's not here. It's rare for me to have some leisure time.

It's time to fix my garden.

Don't worry. Not only will I return your slave contract within five days,

they will give you the money that they earned.

Ms. Qian Yu, what's the point of this?

No point. I'm just finding someone.

Okay, this way please Miss.

The bed must be by the window, headboard facing the sun and place the screen on the southwest corner.

How would this Brother Shen Ming

know that I like to sleep facing the sun?

Young Master, what's the point of this?

We worked so hard for this restaurant and you are just giving it to this girl?

Maybe she is the person we are looking for.

Done.

Time flies.

Qian Xiao, prepare lunch.

I'm going to go bathe first.

Young Master,

we can only blame you for being so outstanding.

It's still in the afternoon. You only used thirty minutes

- to fix the entire garden... - Only thirty minutes?

How can it be? I have been clearly focusing on cultivating my temperament.

Young Master, I'm afraid that you're only focusing on love.

Love?

Look.

Young Master, why don't I look for Little Flute again

and tell her about it.

That's right. Xiao Yu, must be torment right now.

Hurry and go talk to her.

Go ahead. If she's in pain

then bring her back and tell her

that I already forgave her.

Smells so good.

Try it.

Tastes good.

Miss, where is your hometown?

Hometown?

Why are you asking that?

Curious.

I'm afraid that you'll be disappointed

because I don't remember what happened when I was young.

Then I have no other questions. Eat well.

Don't go. I have to shower today.

Okay, I'll go pour the water.

Young Master, does your face hurt or not?

She's so happy. What an excruciating pain.

The one that is torment is yourself.

Stand there. You can go.

Hurry and let Xiao Yu in.

Tell her that I'm

getting prepared to accept her apology.

Young Master, let me tell you the truth.

You are anxious and melancholy.

Little Flute is being happy over there.

How is that possible? You're definitely hallucinating.

Without my radiance, how can she shine brightly?

Without my appreciation, how can she laugh and smile?

You received a lot!

Master Xiao Yu, just these things

How could it possible that we earned fifty thousand taels of silver.

Are we stealing?

Time: tomorrow; Place: this restaurant; People: us.

At and with such a good time, place, and people, you two can just sit and wait to earn fifty thousand taels of silver.

I'll be directly. I'm holding a competition in this restaurant.

I will be the assistant for the final winner.

Master Xiao Yu, are trying to make the whole city know?

Where are you putting Young Master at?

Such a proud person like him, are you trying to make him angry?

I'm free now. He can't control me.

Furthermore, our Young Master thinks on behalf of everyone,

He definitely won't feel anxious.

No way.

Without me, you're living a good life?

No way.

Why is she

still not sending me a letter?

Why don't I look for Little Flute again

and tell her?

Traitor, it's definitely her who taught Suo Qianxiao to purposely make me angry

so that I could spare Feng Ming.

I was saying this brat,

why did he suddenly start worrying about Xiao Yu?

Turns out, they were setting up a trap.

I am so worried about you

You're scared of the dark at night.

I hope that this time I can find you.

Miss Xiao Yu, dinner is ready.

Come on in.

Sweet wheat and date porridge?

Yeah.

Meng You Valley's dates are the sweetest.

It's only that my restaurant doesn't store too much of it.

This is weird. How come he understands my taste so much?

Miss, once said that you were afraid of the dark.

It's very dark and doesn't have any spirits of life.

When the wind comes, why not chase the wind?

Perhaps we can never overcome the fear of the darkness.

Qian Yu.

Is this for me?

Of course.

This handkerchief is breathable. Remember to let them go after you play for a while

that way you won't hurt them.

I still like how they look when they're carefree.

She didn't even accept my letter.

Okay. I'll give you another chance.

If you're late, I won't wait for you.

What should I say?

Young Master, I disregarded my nobility to contact you.

Do you feel very touched?

I know you're left to sleep on the streets and also extremely scared.

I'm ordering you to not pretend to stay strong and immediately apologize

then I will go and save you.

She's not considered part of Qianyun Mountain Pavilion right now.

It's not easy to use my status.

Xiao Yu, I know you're really afraid of the dark.

You must be in pain right now

so I specifically contacted you to talk and relieve your boredom.

Do you suddenly feel like sunlight is shining brightly

and feel very happy inside?

This one will be it.

Before confirming Miss Qian Yu's identity, Young Master

don't reveal your own identity.

But when I see her, I can't control myself.

Xiao Yu. I know that you are afraid of the dark.

so you must be in pain right now.

I specifically contacted you to talk and relieve your boredom.

Do you feel like sunlight is shining brightly—

Who are you?

Who are you?

Why do you have Xiao Yu's clothes?

Young Master Mu?

Qian Chen!

Xiao Yu.

Xiao Yu.
