But as far as I am concerned,
tonight is the night

on the original deadline

that the ERA dies
morally and constitutionally.

on its grave.

a righteous battle,

and like the battle
for suffrage 50 years ago,

it had to be fought and won

And, ladies, we sure did reach
a boiling point.

But when we saw that the devil
was using one little word

in that amendment--sex--
to take away the rights of wives

and give them to the homosexuals
and to the abortionists,

we knew we had to fight back,
and we are winning,

because we have God on our side.

not only the end of the ERA

but the end of an era.

We stand on a precipice,

giving birth
to a new mighty movement,

a movement
that will lead America

back onto the right path,

and together,
we can take our country back.
