this has been a a week of happenings if

you don't know it the reason that we got

tickets and went to the movie in our

hands on Tuesday night was because on

Tuesday this week was the celebration of

the reunification of Jerusalem it's been

a week of graduation here at the school

I have to tell you that every chair was

out all the ones you see stacked up

we're out and we were full and it was

very exciting because I got a picture of

what church looks like and a lot of

children that were very excited sang

songs recited things made me realize

that faith Academy is more than a school

it teaches children the values of the

Bible we had our

school / / church bus delivered this

week and it's parked out front this

morning and tomorrow being Memorial Day

for us here we realized that God is all

about his people in every way shape or

form want to look at starting a 14th

verse want to lay a foundation we're

going to do something a little bit

different today I am going to show a

video that also was released on the day

of the unification of Israel it was done

by a Christian producer in partnership

with a group called Texas Texans for

Israel some of you that have been here

when I have worn my pin that has a

Israel flag in a Texas flag together it

was given to me by the founder of Texans

for Israel from he lives up in Canyon

goes to church at Trinity Fellowship in

Canyon Mike Isley and in a lot of this

was actually this movie that we're going

to look at was actually done in their

production studio in Canyon Texas some

of you that have been to Israel with me

before will recognize some of the people

that are in it because I was quite

surprised when I recognized several

people in in this particular film but

news you keep hearing them say that the

thing that passed it to you in a few

months ago that they weren't supposed to

be in the occupied territories so what

they're trying to do is take Jerusalem

back from them as well as some of the

other places and and the truth is

according to what we've just read that

belongs to Abraham's descendants it

belongs to the Jew but this is what

Psalm 122 says I was glad when they said

to me let us go into the house of the

Lord our feet have been standing within

your gates o Jerusalem Jerusalem was

built is built as a city that is compact

together where the tribes go up and the

tribes of the Lord to the testimony of

Israel to give thanks to the name of the

Lord

judgment and Thrones in the house of

David pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

may they prosper who love you peace be

within your walls prosperity within your

palaces for the sake of my brethren and

with a thought there was a significant

thing when the resolution passed the UN

if it had been under Chapter six

during the week of the reunification of

Jerusalem and on the day of the

reunification of Jerusalem our president

made me realize how much we need to pray

for him even more than I thought we did

last week because we know that when we

make a stand we can become a target and

we make a stand I believe the Bible is

true from the front to the back it's to

be practiced today the same as the day

that it was written and when God said

pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and

prosperity to those that stand with you

if you've been here very long you know

that I preach prosperity

I believe prosperity we live prosperity

and I believe that it's because we stand

for Israel and for what God stands for

I believe in Israel and I believe in her

people the beauty of this land and agent

history means many things to many people

but for me it means one thing life I

will tell you the story of where that

life began there is a mountain in the

heart of my country a mountain very

special to me

this mountain is a lawnmower the place

written in the book of Genesis where God

told Abraham to stop and look out over

the land I am now a great grandfather

and from time to time I come here with

my family it was here that God first

promised my people that he would care

for us in this land that is why this

mountain is special for me and my family

we believe in God and hold strong to his

promises

for nearly two millennia the promised

land of the Bible was a barren wasteland

its archaeological ruins a reminder of

its glorious history its people

scattered throughout the four corners of

the world but towards the end of the

19th century things began to change

new wind began to breathe through this

land there is a prophecy in the Bible

about God returning a valley of dry

bones to life

many believe this prophecy is unfolding

before our very eyes

they've assured Israel is experiencing a

dramatic renaissance never before seen

in humans in a land that was barren for

nearly 2,000 years life is bursting

through acres of vineyards and olive

groves are transforming Rocky Mountains

from every nation on earth Christian

tourists are coming here by the Midlands

fulfilling their dreams of walking in

the very places where their Savior

and most miraculously of all Israel is

once again becoming the home of the once

scattered Jewish people over the last

century they have returned here on the

north south east and west we are living

in the times spoken about long ago the

ties that this nation would be

journey with us now to the land of

Israel

and meet the people who call this place

home

hi in the Golan Heights a cattle drive

is underway steered by a team of his

fertile soil in the country

ideal for farming and raising cattle

young men come here with dreams of

carving out a life for themselves

the Torah it all clicked together I came

19 to go find myself per se and also

find out you know all about the land

always wanting to go to the army but

was back and forth to Israel America

until my mom gave the okay to go I came

out 26 joined up

a real big thing that got me in

defending the Jewish nation was we have

less people that most are me but because

of people who love for this nation they

fight with such more passion we're not

going out on the offensive to go and

attack other people we get attacked

we're going out so always wanted to be

part of that because you know it's

defending what's the place I love the

people I love so now I feel that I've

done my portion in defending this

generation and my kids will also be the

defenders in the next generation God

willing I think I was able to be part of

it and continue to be part of it

now that I've gotten out an idea my plan

is to bring cattle from the states build

up a farm get married out here so that

my family can continue and help out this

nation in the long shot build a

community and have even more families

that have the same dreams or the same

calling from God there's definitely

something happening everybody's feeling

it whether it's in Europe or whether

it's in the States people my age the

younger kids you know especially a lot

of kids in college they're getting a lot

of you know hate there's a lot of

anti-israel in it it's definitely

breeding a new love and a new calling

for people to come to Israel there's

been a funding to people from places

where they felt comfortable to come out

to start a new life out here there's

something out there there's something in

the air that's changed definitely having

a big effect on kids coming and wanting

to join the IDF or coming to live in

Israel itself

regions of Judea and Samaria it is

called by many the biblical heartland of

I wasn't used to it from coming from the

I suddenly realized that this is where

my ancestors came from

I live here I love it I feel I found my

place

most of my job is I'm a mother of two

vehicle huh and actually my son has a

birthday today used to be my youngest

when I look at my son a walking around

going to my neighbor's goats

going to the donkey feeding them picking

the eggs I'm almost jealous with him for

the calm and special life that I feel

I'm giving them because it's something

that I I never had one of the things I

love the most is to tell my boys tell

them stories we just opened the Bible

and we read outside but it's so easy

because I can drive five minutes and

look down and tell my son look you see

down there you see this building this is

Joseph's Tomb you see this is what we

read last Sabbath we read about Abraham

coming into the land so we stood here

and the mountain of El on my way and

this is what he saw and this is where he

raised his family and he walked around

and built his altar we can just look

around and place the stories exactly

where it happened because it's just so

close our goal together we've done in

mind is to remember the whole Bible and

all the stories in the Bible by heart

but he's only five and a half so we

still have time for that

my goal for them really I want them to

be as happy as possible but I want them

to handle their fears and to to build

houses here I want them to be able to

sit on the porch and the end of the day

drinking their coffee and and living

peacefully not being afraid of anyone

coming to to kill them or I just want

them to stay safe I think that's that's

all that I can wish for I've been given

this beautiful gift and they're a gift

that I have I don't even know for how

long

and I just like to watch them grow but

what I would love and I'm praying for

getting from them is for them to be able

to be with the clear heart and to be

right even if people on the outside are

not coming with them even if it's scary

I think of Abraham that the whole world

that was in one side he is the only one

that thought that there is one God and

that's mm and he stood for what he

believed in with my boys right now I

think this is the most important things

is for him to be able to look at the

mirror at the end of the day and to know

that he is doing what he thinks is right

this is my goal for him and to be happy

of course to me Israel is family more

than anything else it's family it's home

promise was the vineyard for centuries

these regions were covered with vibrant

fertile grape vines but after the

Romans uprooted the vines and took them

to Italy for nearly 2,000 years new

vineyards existed on these mountains but

in the late 1990s a few Jewish men came

here with a goal to change that

the ancient world the Roman Caesars the

Greeks they brought the best wine not

from Italy not from French they brought

it from here from Israel but for 2,000

impossible to grow something on those

father's dream to touch the land to grow

this land and we have a privilege of

essence of all things place where God

chose to lay his divine presence you got

it becomes a circle that we we look at

we go through and as I read this today

and as you apply that word you'll get

victory in your life but it has to start

someplace it has to start first with a

commitment to Jesus Christ as making him

your Savior and then making him the lord

of your life Paul said this in Romans 10

8 through 10 it says but what does it

say the word is near you and it's in

your mouth and in your heart that is the

Word of Faith which we preach well the

word of faith that Paul preached is

found in the next verses it says that if

you confess with your mouth the Lord

Jesus and believe in your heart that God

raised him from the dead then you'll be

saved for with the mouth confession is

made unto salvation and with a heart one

believes unto righteousness so it goes

like this all you have to do is actually

say Jesus is my Savior and he is my Lord

so I'm going to invite you to say this

with me this morning and if you want to

bow your head you can bow your head the

Bible says that pray watching and so

it's okay to keep your eyes open and

watch but let's say this together say

father I know that you sent Jesus to die

for my sins I confess those sins today I

ask you Jesus to forgive me of those

sins and to come into my heart and be my

Savior and I commit today that I will

make you the Lord of my life
