[Prince of Wolf]

Episode 10

Papa Wolf, I'm going to tell Mi Mi how I feel about her tomorrow.

Mi Mi, let's meet under the wishing tree after the event finishes.

Don't worry. I'll make sure you have a smooth path to success.

The werewolf's beating us up!

Go away!

Is this Deputy GM Mandy's child?

Yeah, he's Du Ze Ming.

But he went missing on Wolf Mountain.

What's this?

Wolf's a liar!

Do you always let your wolf out and attack people?

Is Du's Group trying to hide your brutal nature...

They're also afraid of me.

- Let's go. - Wolf's a liar!

We shouldn't have trusted him!

I never thought he'd be like that!

Come with me.

Let's get out of here.

Wolf, please explain.

What's going on?

Why did it turn out like this?

Dad, calm down.

I'm sure... I'm sure Wolf wouldn't do something like that.

We've already seen the truth.

We all saw it with our own eyes.

Why are you still sticking up for him?

Dad, don't be so mad.

Crisis management is our first priority now.

As you can see, all the fans are gone.

So Wolf's violent incident

has seriously ruined our corporate image.

He's no longer suitable to be an endorser for our company.

Dad, we should terminate his contract immediately.

Uncle, but...

you haven't even clarified the matter.

Perhaps there's a reason...

You women are always too soft-hearted.

Qi Hong's right. You can't be indecisive when it comes to doing business.

It took us a long time to build up our reputation.

We can't let him ruin everything.

Qi Hong, get everyone into crisis management mode.

How did that happen?

It's not what it looks like.

I know.

You believe me?

They hurt Papa Wolf first.

That's why I did it.

No matter what happened

I'm sure it's not your fault.

You shouldn't blame yourself.

Okay?

I'm sorry.

As for our date under the wishing tree...

I'm afraid we won't be able to go today.

That's okay.

Whenever you want to go...

I'll go with you.

Mi Mi.

Hao Wei, so what happens now?

GM wants to see Wolf

back in the office immediately.

This violent video's already been spread around the internet

and has irrecoverably damaged our corporate image.

We must come up with an immediate solution.

Fortunately, our PR department has already announced

that the violent incident was purely Wolf's personal behavior

and had nothing to do with our company.

As for Wolf

our company cannot use someone with such a brutal nature as our endorser.

We're going to terminate our contract with you immediately.

Chairman, in my opinion...

Someone must have tried to frame Wolf with that video.

I know he wouldn't attack someone for no reason.

Chairman, GM.

From the way you're looking at me now

I know you won't believe me because you think I have a wolfish nature.

Is that right?

You also saw the video yourself.

How am I supposed to believe you?

What about you, Deputy GM Mandy?

You don't have to say anything.

Just terminate the contract.

Since you don't want me anymore

I don't want to stay here either.

From now on...

I'll have nothing to do with Du's Group.

So what did they say?

Let's go.

What happened to him?

Look, he's so scary.

How can something like that happen in our village?

Look, it's Ze Ming and Papa Wolf.

Everyone's criticizing him on the internet now.

What if our neighbors see this video?

- Yeah, tell him to come out. - Old Tian!

- Old Tian! - Stop hiding. Come out!

- Old Tian! - What's going on?

Old Tian, we're not here to cause trouble.

But we can't let a wolf live in our village.

- That's right. - Wolves are wild animals.

- They'll eat us alive. - That's right.

It's okay. Don't worry, Papa Wolf won't hurt people.

He's very understanding and obedient. He won't hurt people.

- How do you know he's understanding? - So you do have a wolf at home.

- Where is it? Bring it out! - Bring it out!

Calm down. Papa Wolf won't hurt people.

He's never hurt anyone before.

That's enough!

Don't worry.

I can guarantee that

Papa Wolf won't stay in this village anymore.

He'll go back to Wolf Mountain.

Do you expect us to believe you?

Yeah, you denied it before, but you still kept the wolf in your house.

Papa Tian.

Mama Tian.

Thank you for looking after me and Papa Wolf.

I'll be leaving with Papa Wolf

early tomorrow morning.

Happy now?

Are you really going back to Wolf Mountain with Papa Wolf?

I don't want to cause trouble for your parents.

Since the people in this village can't accept Papa Wolf...

I have no choice but to go back to Wolf Mountain with him.

Also...

I don't think they can accept

the fact that I have a wolfish nature, right?

Then what about me?

Don't cry.

Isn't there any other way?

Do you really have to go back to the mountain?

Ever since I was little

I was raised by Papa Wolf and Mama Wolf.

After Mama Wolf died

Papa Wolf and I had to look after one another.

There have also been times when he risked his own life for me.

- So I can never abandon him. - I know that.

I know you'll never abandon Papa Wolf.

But...

I don't want you to go.

I don't want to leave you either.

If I had a choice

I'd take you back to Wolf Mountain with me.

But I can't be that selfish.

Perhaps...

the only way to leave your family in peace

is for me and Papa Wolf to go.

I'll wait for you.

No matter when you decide to come back

I'll still wait for you.

Okay.

Promise?

Whenever you need me

blow this whistle.

No matter how far away I am

I'll come to you once I hear it.

No matter how far apart we are

whenever I miss you

will you come to me when I blow this whistle?

Can I make it my wishing whistle?

As long as it's something that I can do for you.

[Wolf Mountain Historical Trail]

Papa Wolf.

I guess both you and I aren't suitable for this world.

Look.

Ze Ming picked these flowers for me.

He knows I love getting flowers.

He must have made this medicated wine for me as well.

It really helped relieve my rheumatism.

Durian is a very special and delicious fruit.

- Want to try it? - Okay.

Then I'll buy one and share with everyone.

I'll give you the biggest piece.

He actually gave me his favorite skateboard.

My goodness.

Wow! He actually knows we love this backpack.

Ze Ming, how could you...

I'm starting to miss him.

Ze Ming.

How are you coping alone on the mountain?

We're all doing very well.

I'm also very well.

Sis, are you thinking about that werewolf again?

Goodness knows when the two of you will meet again.

We'll definitely see each other again.

Sis, are you looking for a new job?

I saw a few job opportunities on the internet.

So I'd like to give it a try.

Sis, I know it's always been your dream to work with great photographers.

But you also have to consider your own health as well.

Don't worry about me.

I'll look after myself.

It might be a while before Ze Ming can come back.

So I hope I can be even better

when we meet again.

Is it because of Chen Shu Pei?

She was born to be a princess.

Of course it's easy for her to become Madam Annie's student.

But in my heart

my sister's photos are still the most touching.

Thank you

for always being on my side to support my dream.

Of course.

That's because I was...

Hi, Shu Pei.

Okay, I'll come down now.

Your dream?

I also want to study illustration abroad

and have my own dream.

Since I was born because of Sis...

I should continue to be her guardian angel.

Go ahead and pursue your dream.

I'll definitely protect our family.

After that incident

are Wolf and his wolf friend okay?

You mean Papa Wolf?

After the people in our village saw that video

they all came to our house and yelled at us.

They insisted on kicking Papa Wolf out.

So he took Papa Wolf and went back to Wolf Mountain.

They went back to Wolf Mountain together?

So is Wolf also living on the mountain?

Since Wolf's already terminated his contract with Du's Group

I guess it's okay to tell you now.

Actually Wolf grew up on Wolf Mountain.

He got lost on the mountain when he was very little.

Luckily Papa Wolf and Mama Wolf saved his life and raised him.

You mean Wolf got lost on Wolf Mountain when he was little?

When did that happen?

How old is he now?

Can he still remember his own name?

I think it was more than 20 years ago.

All he remembers is that his name is Ze Ming.

Ze Ming?

Are you sure Wolf's name is Ze Ming?

Mi Mi, you know what?

It's very likely that Wolf is Auntie Mandy's long-lost son.

Ze Ming.

Mi Mi, thank you for telling me.

I'm sure Auntie Mandy will be thrilled to hear this.

I'll go back and tell her right now.

Shu Pei.

Hang on.

If Ze Ming was the Dus' child...

But I've already called him before.

- Is this Mr. Du Qi Hong? - Speaking.

Thank you for letting me know.

But we've already found our Ze Ming.

He told me they've already found their Ze Ming.

Miss Tian, why did you want to see me so urgently?

If it's about Wolf

I'd prefer to talk when my lawyer's present.

I'm sorry, GM, I just want to ask you something.

Do you remember me calling you a few months ago?

I asked you about a boy from your family who went missing on Wolf Mountain.

You called me?

I don't remember it at all.

- I did. We even talked on the phone. - Talked...

It must have been my assistant.

I was really annoyed at the time.

I received a lot of calls with false information because of the reward.

That's why I asked my assistant to filter my calls.

You must have talked to my assistant.

It wasn't me.

But he said...

GM, can I ask you something?

Sure, go on.

Did you know that Wolf

had also come from Wolf Mountain?

Not really.

I only know he doesn't live with his family.

He lives in your house, doesn't he?

Why are you suddenly asking me this?

Because Shu Pei came to see me today.

She said she thinks that

Wolf is the Ze Ming from your family.

If that's all you want to ask me

I have to go to another meeting now.

I'll pay the check, but you're welcome to finish your coffee.

Did you want to see me?

Close the door behind you.

I just want to remind you to be prepared.

It's about Wolf, isn't it?

Your cousin.

The cousin who went missing has appeared.

Wolf.

Wolf is Du Ze Ming.

What did you say?

Ze Ming was raised by wolves on Wolf Mountain?

He was all alone on Wolf Mountain for all these years.

It must have been so hard for him.

It's all my fault.

It's my fault.

I should be punished for it.

It's my fault. I even terminated his contract.

I should have let him explain.

My grandson was standing right in front of me, but I didn't recognize him.

I even kicked him out.

Let me go and find Ze Ming.

Of course. Make sure you find him.

Ze Ming's my grandson.

We can't let him wander in the wild.

Okay.

You okay?

Are you okay?

- Are you all right? - Auntie Mandy didn't sleep last night.

Since she insisted on leaving early this morning

I'm not sure if she can make it.

Then let's take a break.

Have we got a long way to go?

Ze Ming lives far away on the mountain.

There's still a fair way to go.

I'm fine. Let's keep going.

Keep going.

Whenever you need me

just blow this whistle.

No matter how far away I am

I'll definitely come to you when I hear it.

What's that?

Give me a minute. We might get to see him soon.

Papa Wolf.

Why do I have to be Du Ze Ming?

Forget it.

It doesn't matter anymore.

I wonder how Mi Mi's doing.

Is she staring at the same sky

just like I am?

Mi Mi's calling for me.

I miss you so much.

Me too.

Look who's here.

[Ze Ming]

This...

This is the handkerchief that I made for my son when he was little.

He got lost on this mountain.

We spent a long time looking for him.

We even hired a search and rescue team.

But all they found was this handkerchief.

Qi Hong always blamed himself for losing Ze Ming on the mountain.

So he spent a lot of time and effort looking for Ze Ming.

But we still couldn't find him.

Mi Mi said your name's Ze Ming.

Are you my Ze Ming?

Can I have a look at the handkerchief?

Look, Mommy made this for me. It's got my name on it.

Isn't it pretty?

Want me to cook instant noodles for you?

Let's go back and have instant noodles.

Mi Mi, she came to look for me.

The person I've been waiting for has come to look for me.

But I'm not happy at all.

Because everything's different now.

Nothing's different.

Don't think about it too much.

At the event the other day

when she saw my wolfish nature

she was really scared.

I'm no longer the same Du Ze Ming I was when I was little.

I'm now

the werewolf that everyone's afraid of.

I can't even protect you.

It's too late for her to come and look for me now.

It's not too late.

You're Wolf. Everyone likes you.

You're their idol.

Don't think about it too much.

Mi Mi, what should I do?

No matter what your decision is

I'll always support you.

However

perhaps you should give a chance

to the person who has always been waiting for you.

It looks really yummy.

Auntie, have some.

I'm not hungry. You can have it.

Auntie, if you don't eat or drink, you'll definitely get sick.

Go on.

Hurry.

Here you are.

You must be hungry.

Come and have noodles with Auntie.

Let's go and collect some more wood.

Okay.

Are you hungry?

Mi Mi said you really like her instant noodles.

Come and have some.

Here.

Sit down and have some noodles.

It must have been really hard

to be all alone on Wolf Mountain, right?

No, Papa Wolf and Mama Wolf really took good care of me.

I heard that wolf saved your life.

Papa Wolf and Mama Wolf raised me.

So where's Mama Wolf?

She passed away.

After Mama Wolf passed away

there were only Papa Wolf and me left.

Come home with Mommy, okay?

Ze Ming, come home with Mommy.

Your grandpa's waiting for you at home.

When he heard you're still alive

he was so happy that he burst into tears.

Come home with Mommy, okay?

I'm not going back.

Why not?

Are you mad at us for losing you on the mountain?

Or are you mad because we couldn't find you?

That's not important anymore.

Then why aren't you coming home?

I can't leave Papa Wolf here.

I know Papa Wolf's very important to you.

But you're Du Ze Ming. You belong to our family.

You can't live on the mountain.

You should come back to civilization. That's where your home is.

Ze Ming, listen to me.

Come home with me.

Your grandpa's very sorry.

He said he shouldn't have kicked you out of the company.

Come home with us, okay?

- Ze Ming, come home with Mommy. - I'm not going back!

I love it here.

I'm not going back.

Ze Ming.

What happened to you?

Are you okay?

Wake up.

Mi Mi!

Mi Mi!

Mi Mi!

Mi Mi!

If you're so worried about her, why don't you go and see her?

Is she okay?

She has a high fever.

Do you think she's okay?

Why won't you go home with her?

You said you can't leave Papa Wolf here.

But how can you abandon your own mother?

Do you have any idea how difficult it's been for Auntie

for all these years?

After you went missing on the mountain

she couldn't eat or drink at all.

She couldn't even sleep.

She cried day after day.

First Uncle Qi Hong gave up.

Then it was Grandpa Bai Quan.

But Auntie kept believing that you were still alive somewhere in this world.

She kept telling herself

that one day

you'll definitely go back to her.

You know why?

Because if she hadn't hung on to that belief

she wouldn't have survived.

Only by hoping that you were still alive

was she able to struggle through each day

for so many years.

Where is he going?

I think he wants to do something for his mother.

Did you hurt yourself when you went to pick these herbs for me?

Thank you, Ze Ming.

Did you know that we kept your room exactly the same

for the whole time that you've been missing?

I'm really sorry. Please come home with me.

Make sure she finishes the herb.

Even if you don't want to come home...

can you at least sit here with me

so that I can take a good look at you?

Thank you for making this day come true.

Make sure you take care of yourself.

Are you sure you're not coming home with me?

Then you'll have to look after yourself on the mountain, too.

If you want to come home...

you're welcome to come back anytime.

We're going. Take care.

Look after yourself.

Mommy, I've always been here.

How come you never came to look for me?

Does it hurt?

Let me make your pain go away.

Come on, if you are good and eat your rice, then you'll grow really tall.

If I grow really tall, then I can protect Mommy.

Wow.

Here, take a big mouthful.

Papa Wolf, you want me to go with them?

Papa Wolf.

Papa Wolf, you want me to go with them?

No, I'm not going to abandon you.

Don't push me away.

Papa Wolf.

I don't want to leave you.

Papa Wolf.

Papa Wolf.

Papa Wolf!

Papa Wolf!

Papa Wolf.

Papa Wolf!

Papa Wolf, thank you.

Wait for me!

Make sure you wait for me!

Wait, Papa Wolf wants us to wait for Ze Ming.

Don't leave me behind again.

Mom.

Don't leave me here again.

No, never.

I'll never leave you behind.

Mom.

Ze Ming.

My dear Ze Ming.

Mom.

Ze Ming.

I thought they said they're coming back. What's taking them so long?

We're back, Grandpa.

- Ze Ming's back. - They're back. Hurry.

Dad, Ze Ming's back.

Thank goodness you're back.

Thank goodness you're back.

It's great to have you back.

Ze Ming.

I'm sorry.

I'm really sorry.

It's my fault.

I shouldn't have let you suffer for so many years.

You're finally home now.

I'll definitely make it up to you.

Ze Ming.

Greet your grandpa.

Ze Ming.

Greet your grandpa.

Ze Ming.

It's okay. Take your time.

At least you're back now.

I'm now talking to you as your grandfather.

Yes, Chairman.

There's no way that I'm going to apologize to you.

It's all my fault.

Even though I'm also his grandson

I'll never be as precious as Ze Ming

in Grandpa's eyes.

Here, you can have the last strawberry.

Look, you've made your own cake.

Hao Wei.

I already reminded you.

You have a very strong competitor.

If you're careless, he'll take everything away from you.

You already knew Ze Ming's identity, right?

Yeah.

That's why I reunited with you before it's too late.

What? You want to give up?

You never know who will be the winner until the competition ends.

Come on, let's have some cake.

Ze Ming.

Welcome home.

We'll be brothers from now on.

Good.

That's the way.

If you stick together, you'll be able to achieve anything.

The two of you must work together to look after Du's Group.

You've finally reunited with your family.

Are you happy?

What do you mean?

I don't know if I'll be up for it.

Are you worried that you won't meet their expectations?

I remember you once said

that I'd have to enter a more complicated world one day.

I think this is where the complicated world is.

You'll definitely be up for it.

My trust is in you.

I'm so lucky to have you with me.

Hey, still remember our date under the wishing tree?

Of course.

Then let's meet under the wishing tree at dusk tomorrow.

I have something important to tell you.

Okay.

I want to make her my woman.

Not anyone else's, just mine.

How can he be so possessive?

He's going to put this necklace on for me again tomorrow.

Hello?

Yes, this is Vivian speaking.

Oh my god! Really?

Wait a minute. Are you sure?

Okay, I'm so happy to receive your call.

Thank you. Bye bye.

Sis, what's wrong?

Zi Zi, I've just been accepted.

You have?

They said they really like my photos.

Congratulations! You've finally fulfilled your dream.

But they said they have a very tight schedule.

So I have to fly to Hong Kong for a meeting tomorrow night

and then fly straight to America.

That soon?

So how long will you be away for?

- Probably a year. - A year?

So how are you going to convince Mom and Dad?

Looks like you'll have to start a revolution.

So how long will you be away for?

- Probably a year. - A year?

So how are you going to convince Mom and Dad?

Looks like you'll have to start a revolution.

Then I won't go.

Why not?

Ze Ming really needs me now.

I can't leave him.

Sis, a woman shouldn't give up her dream because of love.

You're only going away for a year.

I'm sure he can wait for a year, right?

Remember how you waited for him before?

I'm willing to give up my dream for Ze Ming.

I'm sure another opportunity will come up again in the future.

All right.

Since you've already made up your mind

I'll support your decision.

[Product Launch]

This is a product launch for our latest golf clubs.

It's already been very well received.

- It'll become one of our top products. - Hey, is that Wolf?

I heard he's the Du family's long-lost young master.

So he was raised by wolves on Wolf Mountain.

Raised by wolves? Does that mean he's a werewolf?

Exactly.

Dad, Ze Ming.

Hi, Shu Pei.

Grandpa asked me to bring them along to learn about our business.

Looks like it's not a good time.

Let's go back.

I'd like to stay here.

- But-- - Look at the fine food and wine here.

It'll be a shame to miss out on them.

Don't worry, Uncle Qi Hong. Let's take a walk around the place.

Since it's quite a casual event today

I'll have a drink with you so that we can build our brotherly bond.

But I have an important appointment later, so I can't drink.

Then let's meet under the wishing tree at dusk tomorrow.

I have something important to tell you.

It's just a cocktail.

You're quite a good drinker.

You're not going to say no to your cousin, are you?

Come on, just one drink.

It'll help you relax.

Miss Chen isn't feeling well.

- Get her some water. - Okay.

Give me your phone. Mine's out of battery.
