Episode 35

Did you really make Grandma sign the paper by sending

her to the illegal nursing home and injecting her with drugs?

Why did you do something so reckless?

I was in rush.

She was pretending to be crazy so she could bring Baek Won into the house.

Do you know what it means?

It means she's going to reclaim her properties.

I had to do something before she does it.

What are you going to do now?

The executives won't trust you anymore because of this incident.

They don't care as long as I give them a salary.

They won't say anything if I pay them off.

What we have to do now is keep the director

of the nursing house from telling the truth.

You have some connections with some police.

You should figure out a way to keep his mouth shut, otherwise, I'll be in danger.

How can a human being do that even if he wants money?

- Your father would never do that. - You heard Baek Won.

Are you really Grandma's daughter?

Are you still on his side after what he has done to your mother?

Hey, by the way, she said Baek Won is the real Ha Bin.

I think giving the stock to your father

is better than giving it to a woman like her.

You and father are the same.

Grandma almost got killed!

How can her daughter say this?

Well... That's... I... I didn't know your father would do that to her.

How did it go?

The stock of the foundation is passed down to me.

What about Seo Jin Ki?

The director of the nursing home confessed everything.

We can get him arrested now.

That won't be so easy.

I know how devilish he can be.

He's going to find a way to get away with it no matter what it takes.

But Grandma, this is a different situation.

Seo Jin Ki will be punished by the law this time.

No. I agree with Mrs. Kang.

I know him.

He won't get arrested for this.

Chun Won is right.

This is why you're going to have to play the important role here.

You have to help Baek Won to protect Golden Rainbow Foundation.

And if you can, you have to get Golden Group back.

Yes, Mrs. Kang.

Can I talk to you?

I heard from Ha Bin that...

when I lost my mind

you cleaned my urine and feces.

- Yes. - Why did you do that?

I hated you so much. Didn't you hate me?

I resented you a lot.

But you're Ha Bin's grandmother.

And you're not the old woman who yelled at me calling me 'bitch' anymore.

I want to ask you something now. Why did you hate me so much?

Was being an orphan that big of a crime?

Come to think of it

it's my fault... I'm sorry.

Deok Soo was the only son in my family, so I had high expectations for him.

As his mother, I wanted him to marry a woman

from a better family so he could grow the company.

But I came to hate you more after he died because of you.

If... If you had told me this earlier, I wouldn't have had to hate you.

If you had let me raise Ha Bin, none of this would have happened.

I was being so greedy.

I'm sorry.

Forgive me.

By the way...

Deok Soo didn't die because of me.

What are you talking about?

Seo Jin Ki... I think he killed Deok Soo.

What?

Congratulations. Now, you've finally found your place.

No. I'm not there yet.

Before I get Golden Group back from Seo Jin Ki...

I still have a long way to go.

I'm coming with you.

I'm going to try my best to do anything that can ruin Seo Jin Ki's life.

Thank you, Chun Won.

Speaking of that, Baek Won

I'm planning to acquire Seo Tae Young's stock.

Why his stock?

In order to get Golden Group back

you're going to have to battle the stock fight to the end.

And in order to do that, you should have more stocks.

But why are you trying to take Seo Tae Young's stock?

Why not Seo Jin Ki's?

- He can be on our side. - No.

He's so stupid that Seo Jin Ki is going to take his stock for sure.

And he's working on it already.

Listen to me, Baek Won. That's the only way we can win.

How are you going to do that?

I asked him to invest his stock on the project you're working on now.

He's going to invest five percent of his stock to you.

We're going to have to try to take his stock more and more.

We have to catch the ball before it bounces.

You trust me, right? I'm on your side, Baek Won.

And we're sisters.

Okay. I will leave this up to you.

What is he...

What's going on?

He changed his testimony.

He's saying Seo Jin Ki didn't tell him to do it.

What?

Did Seo Do Young visit here to see him?

Yes.

Hey, what did Seo Do Young say to you?

How did he talk you into changing your statement?

He didn't say anything.

I'm telling the truth because lying might add more serious punishment.

Don't lie to me.

You injected the drugs into my grandma.

And Seo Jin Ki told you to do that.

I injected the sedative because she didn't stop yelling.

Shut up, you bastard.

What are you doing?

Get off.

Tell me the truth. What did Seo Jin Ki tell you to do?

How did Seo Do Young buy you?

Now you're going along with him by doing something illegal?

You shameless, dirty man.

Watch your mouth. Who do you think you're talking to now?

I'm restraining my impatience of beating crap out of you now.

What did you do to the director of the nursing home?

Did you threaten him?

Or did you buy him off?

I went there to see if my father is really involved in the crime.

He has a criminal history.

I just let him know if he put the blame on an innocent man

he might get a worse sentence.

Don't lie, Seo Do Young.

I thought you had a piece of conscience left even

if your father is more important to you.

But you're just like Seo Jin Ki. You're evil too.

- Kim Baek Won. - Don't call my name.

The hope that I had for you...

It's all gone now.

Thank you for making me notice how stupid I was.

I'm never going to fall for it or trust people so easily again.

I will be different from now too.

I will show that you an uneducated woman cannot be destroyed easily.

Do I really have to do this?

Seo Do Young, how far are you going to go?

Yes.

What are you doing here?

It's not like I came to a place I'm not supposed to.

You're my cousin after all.

So? What do you want?

I heard from Chun Won that you invested some money in my project.

Did you make it?

I spread them to the mud flat and I'm going to have to wait and see how it goes.

It will be a success.

Then I can make a lot of money, right? I can make more than I invested, right?

Yes.

By the way, what do you think of Grandma?

Are you kidding me? My father... Seo Jin Ki is such an immoral person.

I think you saved her life this time. Good job.

Tae Young.

I can call you by your name, can't I?

If you're the real Ha Bin, then why not?

In order to fight Seo Jin Ki, we have to work together.

You think I don't know that?

We worked together, but we lost last time.

If the project goes well, I can buy more stock from Golden Group.

When that day comes, we can fight him again.

They aren't going to do nothing about this either.

Hey, if we win, I should be the president, okay?

Okay? Honestly, you don't know anything about the company.

Sure. All I want is Golden Rainbow Foundation.

Yeah. It's good for you to know your place.

By the way, the stock we have is from Golden Group so we're safe

but what's going to happen to the fisheries department?

- What do you mean? - You don't know?

Seo Jin Ki said he's going to sell the fisheries department.

What? Is that true?

Yeah. The holding company has changed to Golden Distribution department.

He might change the whole name of the company.

He's going to erase Grandma's color.

- What's wrong? - Is what Baek Won said today true?

Did you really lock my mom up and drug her?

- I didn't know the place was illegal. - But you took her there.

How? How could you do that to my mom?

I was introduced to a wrong place. I never thought people would do that.

But still!

It's true that you used my mom to steal Golden Group's stock!

You made my mom who lost her mind sign the paper by force!

I had to do it to protect the company!

You saw it last time too.

When Tae Young and Baek Won were on the same side

their stock was added up to thirty-five percent.

We could barely win them by one percent.

Did you forget that already?

I didn't... but...

I just feel so bad for my mom.

Listen to me closely. This is the war.

The company can be failed by a brief moment of inattention.

What I did was something I had to do to protect the company.

Now everybody knows Baek Won is the real Ha Bin.

What do you think is going to happen if your mother keeps supporting her?

The company will be divided in a half.

Your mother won't be able to recognize people in a year.

Before that happens, I had to choose the way we can win.

This is how war works. Understand?

Fine.

You're scaring me.

Mother, dinner is ready.

Mother?

What's the point of eating?

For fourteen years, I lived with the person

who killed my son and ordered to kidnap my granddaughter.

- I don't want to live. - You have to cheer up.

Seo Jin Ki did all of these because of the feelings he has for me.

If I have to die, I'm going to die with him.

So, please don't be sad.

You have to cheer up so you could see his life ruined.

I didn't know any of this.

I blamed you because I thought you caused all of this.

I was so stupid.

Mother.

Come to think of it, your life wasn't that happy either.

I'm sorry that I blamed you.

You gave birth to Ha Bin.

I lost my husband early too but I didn't understand you.

All I did was blame you.

I should die.

Young Hae... Can... Can you forgive me?

I wish I could just kill myself.

Mother, I hated you so much too.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, Mother.

You don't look so good today.

You're the one who wanted to see me but you don't talk to me at all.

Why do you want to see me?

What's happening to Tae Young's stock?

I took the five percent of his stock.

I knew it. You're amazing.

But why aren't you giving it to my father?

He fooled me several times.

I'm giving it to him when he learns to keep promises.

I'm wondering what the promises are.

Secret.

That's just making me want to know more.

A secret is there to be revealed.

Did he promise you the CEO of the company or the vice president?

Do you really want to know?

I'm dying to know.

- You. - Me?

For the future of Golden Group, he said he needs a daughter-in-law like me.

Hey, are you stupid? Do you really believe that?

What kind of father-in-law would tell his future daughter-in-law

to seduce a man to steal the stock?

And the man is my brother.

I don't believe that either, and this is why I'm keeping it for now.

I'll give it to him if I'm guaranteed to get something from him.

It should be at least vice president.

Instead of doing that...

How about we start dating?

- Are you joking? - I'm not.

I broke up with Baek Won, so I'm single now.

And you're an attractive woman. What's there not to like about you?

Do you want me to give the stock to your father that much?

No. You aren't giving it to him.

We will keep the stock.

Don't you understand what I'm saying?

If I can't have love, I want to have power.

Let's take over Golden Group together.

He's going to hand it over to you anyway.

How long will it take?

I don't want to wait too much.

I get excited to get what I want by fighting for it.

If it's you and me, we can be good competitors to him.

But you don't really have feelings for me.

Am I a tool that can be used to fight your father?

Or am I your back-up so you could forget about Baek Won?

Let's just call a contract relationship for now.

But feelings can be change. Who knows? There can be sparks between us.

Because you're such a beautiful, attractive woman

and I'm a lonely man who can't deny your beauty.

Fine. Let's start the contract relationship.

Why are you drinking?

You want to join me?

I'm sorry about getting upset with you the other day.

You were right.

I shouldn't have waited for him.

I feel so stupid for defending a man like him.

Did something happen between you and him again?

No.

It's just...

I hate myself.

I didn't want to hate people on no condition.

But I hate those people so much I want to kill them.

I'm scared of being like this, Man Won.

Just forget about them. It's only going to hurt your if you keep thinking about them.

Yeah.

I'm really going to forget about him.

I'm going to get rid of him from my memory.

And no matter how hard it is, I'm going to fight them.

I'm going to fight myself from getting weak.

You're going to abandon me, aren't you?

I'm never going to let go of your hands.

Never.

Are you sure? Are you sure, Baek Won?

I'm so sure.

Baek Won!

Young Won. Young Won!

Baek Won!

This is for you.

What's this? A jar of honey?

My brother.

Il Won...

My brother... who was really talented at drawing.

Who never cut me out.

Are you Korean American? What's your name?

Name? I'm No-money.

No-money.

No-money? Does that mean he has no money?

I think he's a little bit weird. Is he crazy or something?

Let's get out of here.

Forever, wake up. Forever.

What's the matter?

Did you go see your old family?

I just...

saw them from a distance.

I wanted to see how the people who abandoned me are doing.

I didn't meet them face to face.

I just watched them from a distance.

Baek Won.

Man Won.

Let's just scatter the ash and go back like you planned before you came here.

Your father is worried about you.

[Oh Kwang Hyuk]

Accountant, Oh Kwang Hyuk in the year of 1985.

Embezzled one billion.

Jang Deok Soo, who was the auditor at that time

questioned him and found out the truth.

Oh Kwang Hyuk was about to go to prison.

Before he was sent, he asked me for advice.

And he decided to kill Jang Deok Soo.

And on that night, Jang Deok Soo died due to the brake explosion.

I saved the voice file that has Oh Kwang Hyuk's testimony.

So, Oh Kwang Hyuk killed Jang Deok Soo.

And my father is holding a sword over his head and using him as his tool.

[Golden Group's Marine Fishery Cluster Presentation]

What is this?

Hello?

Are you Kim Baek Won?

Yes. Who are you?

You just got an email, didn't you?

There’s something important about that.

What? Is that true?

When?

Hello? Hello?

I just read off exactly what's in the paper.

Am I done?

He's going to sell off Golden Group Fishery department?

Yes. That was one of the agendas at the meeting.

He has decided to get rid off everything that I did for the company.

That son of a bitch.

Don't worry, Grandma.

I'm going make the project a success and buy off the stock.

That's not enough.

I will help Baek Won too.

There must be a way to counterattack him.

I'm going to go to the hospital today.

Why?

What if you meet a wrong doctor like last time?

What if he prescribes you the wrong medicine?

This doctor is amazing and trusted. He's going to take a good care of her.

She should get her treatment everyday so her condition won't get worse.

If I stay here, Seo Jin Ki will try to watch my movements.

If you're trying to counterattack him, I shouldn't be staying here with you guys.

Instead, come to the hospital often.

I'm going to try to find a way to help you.

Yes, Grandma.

So, how's helping Baek Won going?

Are you doing alright?

Oh my God. The fishermen there are so picky.

It's bitter.

It is me who convinced those picky people.

After that, the project is working so well, with lightning speed.

All I have to do is just count money I can make out of it.

You're working so hard.

But the company is going through some hard times now.

So, we can't sponsor Golden Rainbow Foundation.

It's such a huge project

but they only get one percent of the stock to do the project.

It must be hard for them to work.

It's okay. You focus on protecting Golden Group.

There's a big hand for the foundation.

A big hand?

Her name is Park Hwa Lan. She's a president of World Wide Loan.

She has so much money that she's so willing to sponsors the money.

She uses a fork-crane to deliver the money.

Is this really possible?

Yes, it is.

I tested the water quality of the river.

And checked all the sea around the land.

Why don't you try it?

If we make it, it's going to be a big hit.

We’re too short on the money to do that.

Baek Won, something bad happened.

This is the list of sum of the money that

World Wide Loan sponsored to the foundation.

World Wide Loan?

The president of that company isn't Yoon Young Hae anymore.

She has to fail the project so I could have the mud flat.

I didn't count on there being another variable.

Of the seventy-five billion won, only five hundred million won was sponsored.

If the rest of the money is sponsored, your plan will fail.

We have to cut off the source of funds.

You investigated World Wide Loan before

but you couldn't doing it because I made you to stop.

You may start again.

President Seo, All the Jong Pae in the mud flat died.

Call a meeting.

Manager Kim Baek Won.

You bragged that you could develop the young of cockles

with five hundred million won of the company's money.

But I got a report that all of the young of cockles died.

Is it true?

I would like to correct something first.

The five hundred million won wasn't the company's money.

It was the part of the foundation's stock.

As you all know, Mrs. Kang gave that stock to me.

Before she inherited, it belonged to the company.

It was the corporation property.

You promised that if the project fails, you'll take the responsibility.

How are you going to take responsibility for that?

How... do you want me to take the responsibility?

What you want from me is the mud flat that I have, isn't it?

But dream on.

I'm not giving you not only the mud flat but also a penny.

What are you talking about now?

I don't care about the mud flat.

So, the project failed or not?

Please distribute those.

DO you know what that is?

It's a plot that Golden Distribution department has been working on secretly.

President Seo wants to sell off Golden Fishery department.

He's also planning to build a distribution center

on the land that I inherited from Mrs. Kang.

And because of this, he killed the young of cockles purposely.

What are you talking about? Purposely?

Man Won, you can come in.

This man purposely sprayed a strong herbicide

on the mud flat and killed the cockles.

And it even killed other fishes that the fishermen lived off.

Tell me who asked you to do that.

Tell her. You were there.

The man...

who's sitting in the right.

He bought me off with some money.

I'm sorry.

President Seo.

Director Seo Do Young.

You know you can receive a criminal penalty for that, right?

If this is revealed, the image of Golden Group

will take a worse hit than the pollack incident.

How are you going to take responsibility for that?

What do you want?

I want you to get punished.

You need to pay for your sins.

Have you seen any president of major companies

getting punished for this kind of stuff?

Then should I release this incident to the media?

Are you saying you're going to strike a blow to Golden Group

that your grandmother worked for her whole life?

I'm saying I'm going to strike a blow to you.

Because it's you who are trying to get rid of Golden Fishery department.

Please don't forget that I am holding a sword by the hilt on this.

So, how are you going to strike a blow to me?

The compensation for the damage you gave to the young cockles.

Give me the double amount of money that you invested.

Because I have to compensate for the fishermen who got damaged by this.

But, I'm not taking cash.

Since you invested the stock on the project

give me two percent of your stock.

Are you trying to fight me off?

Yes. Because you're the one who started a fight.

You choose.

You can either give me your stock

or I can reveal this to the media and watch you get ruined.

I underestimated you.

This is just a start. I'm never giving up on the mud flat and Golden Group.

How could you screw me up like this?

You should have done it better! You just exposed yourself!

I'm sorry.

I will go to jail so it won't damage your reputation.

Are you kidding me?

You think I wouldn't get hurt if you face judicial action?

How did she get the new project file anyway?

I haven't told this to the executives yet.

Did you leak this information?

With the risk of going to jail?

Do you still not trust me?

I haven't told anybody about this individually except for you.

The information might have leaked from the project team.

Also, doesn't Mr. Oh know about this?

He has no reason to do that.

A reason can be made from a minor thing.

You're trying to sell off Golden Fishery Department.

He might feel nervous about it.

He's in charge of that department.

He might fear the damage to his reputation.

But he can't be the one.

Since it has come to this... there's no other way.

I have to give Baek Won ten billion won in compensation.

And I'm going to take it back later.

How?

I'm going to make her buy Golden Fishery Department.

She's going to buy it because she knows it's her grandmother's blood and sweat.

The stock she has won't be enough to buy it off since it's huge.

So, she's going to have to sell the mud flat eventually.

That makes sense.

But there must not be any helper around her.

You need to make sure Park Hwa Lan from World Wide Loan can't help Baek Won out.

Make up the mistake you made.

Okay.

I had no idea that he would try to ruin your mud flat project.

Why is this happening?

It's the fight over Golden Rainbow Foundation.

By the way, who sent you the email and called you?

I don't know.

I think there's somebody who is going against Seo Jin Ki in the company.

Someone who can't be exposed but wants to support me.

Baek Won.

I thought the foundation thing you're working on is only for the fishermen.

But now that I think it might put you in danger.

- Do you have to do this? - I have to, Man Won.

- There's a reason. - Why?

We can live well by running the restaurant.

Late. I will explain it later.

You bastard.

Give me my money back.

- What are you doing? - What am I doing?

Because of you, I lost my five percent of the stock that I invested in the project!

Give me my money back!

You did?

But why are you telling me to pay for it?

Don't you really know?

You told the man to spray the herbicide and kill the cockles.

I'm going to sue you.

If you don't pay me back the money, I'm going to send you to prison.

Sure.

It'd be nice if both of us can go to prison together.

- What? - Did you forget?

I have the evidence of you having done the illegal gamble in my hand.

You dirty bastard.

And you sided with Baek Won again secretly?

You pledged allegiance to Father.

But you betrayed him again?

Hey, it wasn't betraying.

Shall we see if it was betraying or not in front of our father?

Look. Do Young, I wasn't...

Let's just forget about it, okay? I'm sorry.

I think I was overreacting. I'm so sorry.

What did you just say? All of the cockles died?

Yes. President Seo and Do Young ruined it.

I wish I could just sue them and...

and send them to prison.

Because of the five percent that I invested

I'm chained to Do Young.

I wasted my stock for nothing because of your idea!

But you still have fifteen percent of the stock left.

I invested all I have.

I really wanted to stab his back in the back this time.

I wanted to repay him for what he has done to me.

Hey.

Things like this happen.

You know how much loss I caused when I was CEO of Golden Group.

Don't worry. This isn't done.

There's still fifteen percent of the stock left.

Let's get back at President Seo this time!

Are you sure? You aren't going to give up?

Yeah. You and I are on the same boat.

Let's see who wins this war at the end.

What? You cornered Seo Jin Ki? How?

Yes. I protected the mud flat you gave me

and I even got two percent of the stock on top of that.

You don't even know how to manage a business.

How did you do that?

Actually, there was an anonymous informant.

- Anonymous? - Yes.

I don't know who but somebody in the company doesn't like President Seo.

That person must be on your side.

Grandma, I can buy Golden Fishery Department now.

I have the seventy-five billion won that you gave me

and the ten billion won that I got from President Seo.

How is that enough?

I know the value of Golden Fishery department went down

but you can't still buy it with that kind of money.

Don't worry, Grandma. There's someone sponsoring the foundation too.

- Sponsoring? - Yes.

I'm going to buy off Golden Fishery department, so don't worry, Grandma.

Kim Baek Won... How did she find out about the project?

Let's not talk about the business while eating.

I'm worried he will ruin our project.

There must be a traitor. We need to find that person.

I told you not to talk about it.

What's the point of talking about that?

What's the point? I was just...

President Seo, since we've all gathered here

how about we talk about something private?

Like what?

I told you about these two people last time.

How about we support the relationship between these two?

What do you think of him?

I like him.

What about you?

As long as my father approves it.

I told you last time this isn't going to happen.

Hey, why are you flat out refusing it like that?

We have been friends for years.

This is kind of upsetting.

We're in the eyes of the public. Let's not make it complicated.

I mean they said they have feelings for each other. Why do you care?

Do you feel uncomfortable around me because I know too much about you?

- Watch your mouth. - You watch your mouth.

Are you humiliating me in front of my daughter now?

Dad, what are you doing? We're having dinner here.

Stop it.

That son of a bitch.

I made him the CEO of the company and he's trying to walk all over me?

Why do you hate it?

Secretary Oh isn't that bad.

Besides, you and Mr. Oh have been friends

since when you were in college.

I said no!

He's like a farmhand to me.

Just wait. Your wife has to be a woman from a much better family.

Wait... You may be right.

Mr. Oh might have leaked the information to Baek Won.

You keep an eye on him.

Okay.

Young Hae.

Hey.

Have a seat.

What's going on? Is everything okay?

I just wanted to thank you for what you did for me at the hospital.

I was worried something bad happened to you again.

You didn't have dinner yet, right?

I heard Baek Won revealed that she's the real Ha Bin.

Yeah. She showed up with Kang Jung Sim.

How did she find out?

Before Han Joo died, he ran the DNA test.

On the day of the accident, I think he got the result.

I see.

Do you live with her now?

No.

I didn't want her to do it, but she told Kang Jung Sim the truth.

You know how Kang Jung Sim think of me.

She doesn't even let me go close to Ha Bin.

My daughter has been stolen again.

I begged her not to go near the company, but she won't listen to me.

She's trying to revenge on you for her grandma.

Jin Ki.

Please don't hurt Ha Bin.

I don't care what you do to Kang Jung Sim.

But you can't hurt my girl.

If Chun Won hadn't been so greedy, I wouldn't have hurt her either.

There's no reason to hurt your daughter.

I... lost my two daughters.

I even lost a man I loved.

You know what Chun Won has gone through.

If Ha Bin goes through the same thing...

I really can't live.

This isn't like you. You are a strong woman.

They have their own life. You need to live your own life.

My life?

My life has been shattered.

What are you talking about?

Was your life all about your children and a man?

Look at yourself.

Think of the time you worked at the World Wide Loan.

You need to try to live your life like that again, with confidence.

Was I ever a confident woman?

I'm sorry. I think I drank too much.

Can you go home alone? I can give you a ride.

No. I'm going alone.

I... I don't know how my life turned out like this.

Go.

I feel so miserable.

The restaurant is closed.

I'm sorry. Can I just have some sashimi really quick?

I heard sashimi here is really good.

Are you ready to go home?

Man Won, do you have some sashimi left?

There are some halibut left.

Why?

I don't think he's going to drink, so I want to make sashimi for him.

Sure.

Baek Won, it's melting in my mouth.

It's so delicious.

Um... Do you not like the sashimi?

This fish is from my fish farm so it should be fresh.

What's wrong with him?

It's fresh.

Shoot. He forgot to take this.

[Kim Il Won]

Young Won!

Are you...

You're Young Won, aren't you?

No. You got the wrong person.

You are.

You are Young Won.

I raised you.

How can I not know you?

Baek Won.

Young Won... Young Won...

Where have you been?

Are you...

- Are you really Young Won? - Yes.

Man Won.

Then why did you just leave us like that?

You knew where your brother and sister are.

Why did you try to leave?

Because you abandoned me.

You didn't even look for me.

What are you talking about?

We've been looking for you so much.

We've searched every orphanage in the country

and even the ones in foreign countries.

Is that true?

Come here.

Baek Won, did you really find Young Won?

Are you...

- Young Won? - Sib Won.

- Yeol Won. - Young Won!

You... Where have you been?

Baek Won and Man Won looked for you everywhere.

You should've come when dad was alive. Where have you been?

What are you talking about?

- Dad... died? - Yes, he did.

- Where were you? - How did he die?

Why did he die?

But you're here now.

I thought we weren't ever going to see you again.

So, now you have ten percent of the stock.

Yes.

Baek Won took two percent from my father.

So, now he has eighteen percent total.

If you exclude the three percent from his wife

and ten percent from Oh Kwang Hyuk...

we can certainly win this fight.

So what does it make this?

Make what?

I know we're in the contract relationship

but do we really have to keep talking about the stock?

Then what do you want?

Well? What would a woman and a man do when they're in a relationship?

[Baek Won]

It's Baek Won. Should I not answer it?

No, I don't care. Answer it.

Hey, Baek Won. What's up?

What?

Young Won?

Hey, Chun Won. I thought you would be coming with Mom.

I was out when I got the call. But is it true that Young Won came back?

- Are you Chun Won? - Yes, so you're Young Won?

Yes.

You were so pretty before but you got prettier than before.

I didn't see you. How did you come here?

It's true.

Baek Won and Man Won barely talked to each other

for fourteen years because he lost you.

It was so awkward.

If you had stayed at the house where you got adopted

we could have found you earlier.

I left the house to find you.

So, where have you been living?

I live in Boston.

So, you were adopted to the US?

Then you changed your name? Smith? Tom?

No. My name is the same. Forever Michinski.

- What? - M... Michin?

What's wrong with that family for giving you such a strange name?

Forever Michinski.

Tadeusz Michinski is a descendant of a famous poet in Poland.

I was adopted by a Polish American.

Ah, then is your father also a poet?

He owns a business. It's like a mom-and-pop store.

I see.

You were six when you were adopted.

Do you remember us?

Mom, he was so smart.

I even remember the date you had sex with Uncle Eok Jo for the first time.

What is he saying now?

Are you crazy?

You really are Young Won.

Why are you laughing?

Dad.

Young Won brought Il Won too.

Now all of our family are here.

I'm sorry, Dad.

I should've have come back earlier.

I'm sorry.

What's going on?

Man Won, a prosecutor came here and he searched and seized all the documents here.

Are you running the clubs secretly?

No. I sold them off.

He said I have to come to the prosecutor's office by tomorrow.

He gave me the arrest warrant.

Hwa Lan? For what?

We don't know yet.

She isn't doing anything illegal these days.

I think it's about what happened in the past.

Then I should ask Mom about this.

The money that was going to sponsor you is tied up too.

What?

The prosecutor locked her account.

Sir. Sir.

Why did I come here?

I'm so stupid.

Baek Won.

- Baek Won. - Get off.

I want to go back.

I just want to give up everything.

I think I'm going to be like my father if I keep doing this.

I feel like I'm going to become a monster.

I miss the warm place.

Baek Won, please stop me.

I want to go back.
