She invited me to her home.

She made a fantastic lunch, laid a nice table, you know.

She is a foodie.

She was an incredibly gracious hostess and very warm

and she offered to put me in touch with her parents.

They broke up when Meghan was two,

but what is extraordinary about that

is that they raised her together,

so when her father might have her company for the weekend

and he would drop her off on Sunday,

he would not just drop her off at the house and leave.

They would all be sitting in front of the TV,

for their snack tables with a joint dinner on Sunday

so, in fact, she feels she was raised by both parents,

And he said, "Listen, guys, I'm here for five days.

"Give me some of your extra weight because I like to do that."

There was no special treatment.

He slept in a tent like we did. He had to make his own food.

It takes three hours to melt enough ice and snow

to hydrate and for your food.

He also had to go through that entire process.

We have shared so many stories about being together in the army,

serve together what we have experienced in Afghanistan

and back to life in the UK.

It only shows what kind of character he is and what kind of man it is

and the skills he just naturally has.
