Call 911.

Dad!

What are you waiting for? Call 911!

It's 16-6, Pyeongchang-dong here.

He's a heart transplant patient. Please hurry.

One, two, three, four.

(Episode 15)

They must be having the meeting by now.

Let them meet.

They won't be able to get married after doing this to us.

So what if they met up?

Why are they asking Hye Won to come and check up on him?

Ji Hoon told me Uncle didn't come home last night.

He stayed out all night?

That Chairman Han?

Yes, Ji Hoon.

What?

All right, I'll go straight to the hospital.

What's going on?

- Chairman Han collapsed! - What?

Hey, wait. We'll go with you!

I'm going to get changed, so wait.

Oh, no. He even asked Hye Won to come.

Oh, my gosh. We're screwed!

We should've gone to meet them instead.

I guess we shouldn't have asked them to come over when they're busy.

Chairman Han was the one who wanted to meet here.

Just relax.

We apologize.

I'm sorry, Tae In.

There was a lot of traffic today.

It's all right. Welcome.

We came a bit early anyway.

Thank you for coming a long way.

Well, that's what Chairman Han wanted.

Why don't we sit down?

Right.

Where is Chairman Han?

Eun Dong is chauffeuring him here today.

How can you leave like that after an accident?

That's a hit-and-run, you know.

I'm going to call the police.

Hye Won!

What took you so long? Dad is in a critical condition!

Mrs. Choi.

Chairman Han has collapsed.

Ms. Cha, what did you say happened to Chairman Han?

He arrived at the hospital.

But his doctor, Oh Hye Won,

arrived 15 minutes ago...

and is not doing anything.

He's in a critical condition.

You need to come here quickly.

What are you doing? Can't you see Dad is in a critical condition?

I'm sorry.

Tae In, I'll call you.

What's going on?

I think something happened to them.

Shouldn't you go there too?

(Cha Eun Dong)

Did something happen?

Chairman Han collapsed.

- Where are you? - Korea Hospital.

Oh Hye Won came late to the hospital.

I'm going there now.

Chairman Han collapsed.

What?

You should go.

I'll call you.

- Honey! - Dad!

Honey.

What happened?

It could've been serious,

but thankfully, we dealt with it fast.

I'm asking you what happened.

It's cardiac arrest due to shock.

We went over the hump,

he may have a heart attack or angina...

You checked up on him last time.

I told you to examine him before he leaves.

Why aren't you saying anything?

Didn't you see him when we weren't home?

Get Ms. Cha.

Mom. Calm down and...

Stay outside, Ji Hoon.

Explain what happened.

Mrs. Choi.

When you went to the house, was Dr. Oh at home?

Well...

It's okay. You can tell me.

She didn't come.

She didn't come?

Did you ignore what I said about examining Chairman Han?

The thing is...

There was an emergency at the hospital.

Was Dr. Oh in the emergency room when you came here?

No.

She wasn't at the hospital.

She arrived a lot later.

Director Han called Dr. Oh in the ambulance.

I think I heard her say she wasn't at the hospital,

and she'll be on her way here.

Even after Chairman arrived,

she arrived 15 minutes after that.

She didn't act in time,

so he could've been in danger.

- Please. Hear me out first... - How dare you.

It's not true.

If only you had examined Chairman Han like I told you,

this wouldn't have happened.

Also, you don't act in time when he is lying there?

It's not true.

- Don't listen to Cha Eun Dong... - I get...

why you're doing this.

But do you think this will stop Seo Ju marrying him if you do this?

- Myung Hee. - Now I get...

why Tae In tried so hard...

to become Chairman Han's son-in-law.

He tried to show you.

You should take responsibility for what happened today.

In whatever means.

Get out.

Myung Hee, you can't trust that woman...

Didn't you hear me say get out?

According to Director Han,

the person who found Chairman Han and saved him...

was Ms. Cha Eun Dong.

He could've been in danger if he was found any later.

There are adults here.

And I'd like to hear your answer...

since I was unfairly denounced.

I'll come to you later to get your answer.

Is it true you'll be handed over to the disciplinary committee?

Did Aunt really say that?

Yes, she did.

Those punks.

The person...

who you'd make Tae In self-destruct with,

is it Cha Eun Dong?

Is it her?

Yes.

What are you trying to do?

She is the only weakness of Tae In.

So you're going to put her beside Tae In...

I didn't put her beside him.

She came to him on her own...

to kill Tae In.

Why is she after Tae In?

She should come after us if she's doing this because of...

I made her that way.

The person who made her rot in prison for five more years.

She thinks it's Tae In,

not me.

Then she should go after Tae In. Why is she bleeding me dry?

In the end, she'd eat Tae In alive.

I'm going to make sure of it.

We're indebted to you.

Thank you.

You helped Seo Ju last time as well.

How will I repay you?

I happened to be there when Chairman collapsed.

- It was purely by luck. - No, it's not.

He's alive because of your first aid.

I'll...

Chairman!

Why did he collapse all of a sudden?

On a day when the parents are supposed to meet...

What in the world?

Did you just arrive, Young Gook?

What? Yes.

Everyone else saved him.

But you guys show up now? What for?

Are you here to see what happened...

since we didn't get to see Tae In's parents?

What?

You didn't get to meet Tae In's parents?

- Goodness. - Oh, my.

Oh, no. What do you do?

I can see through you, so stop coming here.

Also, you guys are off on your own.

We're off on our own?

What do you mean by that?

Don't expect us to support you anymore.

Myung Hee.

Yes, Tae In.

Don't worry about us.

Did they get home safely?

Right. How is Chairman Han?

I think he was in shock.

He got hospitalized.

I think we need to postpone meeting her parents.

That's not the problem right now.

It's okay with us,

so tell her to concentrate on Chairman Han's recovery.

Right. Bye.

How is he?

He passed the most dangerous moment.

That's good.

What shocked him that much all of a sudden?

Shouldn't you go...

and visit him in the hospital?

Shall I?

I'm hungry. Let's eat.

I should go to the shop.

Tae In has to go somewhere.

Where?

(Cha Man Jong)

The reason why you took advantage...

of me and my dad is...

because you wanted to protect your girlfriend.

Let go of me.

Let go of me, you jerk.

Am I qualified?

Please help me to keep my promise...

to protect your daughter.

Your daughter saved Chairman Han who was saved...

by you and my dad's lives.

Watching her getting hurt will be...

harder for me.

What made you think you can come here?

Why are you here?

Just see him and leave.

You are...

a really scary person.

Okay.

Try it.

Push forward...

marrying Han Seo Ju...

whatever Choi Jun Hyuk and Oh Hye Won are...

plotting against it.

There's nothing to interrupt.

The parents of both sides are not meeting anyway.

Hye Won.

Stall this.

I mean,

tell Chairman Han...

that he needs to take absolute rest,

so it delays both parents' gathering.

Right.

This is a rare opportunity. Look.

Even the universe is stopping them from marrying.

Isn't this a sign that our family will be ruined...

- if Kang Tae In becomes our family? - Right?

Delaying their parents' gathering is not enough.

We should give them a reason to call off the wedding completely.

What happened to the thing you told Ji Hoon?

I reasoned with him, so he will tell Uncle...

unless he's an idiot.

What are you waiting for? Call 911!

Ji Hoon.

Dad.

What happened?

It was dangerous. You fainted at home.

Don't you remember?

What about meeting their parents?

Does it matter now?

They must have been waiting for us.

In this situation, are you worrying about Kang Tae In's family?

Do you know how scared I was?

I thought I might lose...

you...

I thought I might lose you again.

Were you scared?

I'll make a call.

Without you,

I'd have no one left.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry...

about everything.

Ji Hoon.

I should have looked...

for your biological mother sooner.

Goodness.

Come on.

Why is it like this?

By the way,

will Chairman Han eat this kind of food?

How much we care about him is what counts.

You said it's good for the heart.

Is Tae In upset...

because we couldn't meet Seo Ju's parents?

Why did he drink that much?

Leave him alone.

He'd have a lot on his mind before his wedding.

Hey.

It must be hard for you.

Can you bear with it next to Chairman Han?

Look what happened today.

Your dad almost died because of Chairman Han.

But you were taking care of him in the hospital today.

If I were you,

I would've gotten sick from anger.

You can bear this because you're strong.

Chang Wook.

Do you think...

Chairman Han noticed his name on the transplant list...

was changed?

Considering his behavior,

he doesn't seem so.

But the two families are one family.

Would Choi Jun Hyuk and Oh Hye Won...

have stolen the heart for your dad...

without Chairman Han knowing?

(Korea Hospital)

Hey.

How are Choi Myung Hee...

and Dr. Oh related?

Why?

Why do you have a man's briefcase?

Is Kang Tae In in my father's ward?

I heard that the one who moved me to the hospital...

is an employee hired by Seo Ju and you.

Isn't she the employee...

who came to my office with you from the prosecutors' office?

Yes, it's her.

I'll have her over at home to thank her.

You should rest at least a week even after you're discharged.

I'm fine.

So don't worry about me...

and reschedule the gathering.

My parents are also worried.

They said you don't need to rush and just take your time.

Don't work too hard...

and leave Seo Ju and me in charge of the company.

With whose permission?

Now you're showing your true colors.

Ji Hoon.

Did you wait for him to faint? Does it look like an opportunity?

Watch your words.

You ignored me because I'm free-spirit...

and crushed Jun Hyuk because he's a pain in the neck.

Now you will marry Seo Ju to take over the company.

Do you think he loves Seo Ju?

- What do you mean? - I don't think so.

He's not marrying her because he loves her.

You moved your way up here with nothing but determination.

Now that he trusts you,

you want to be a brown-noser of my family.

Will you stop?

I'm sorry, Chairman Han.

Director Han, the brown-noser is Choi Jun Hyuk's family.

Choi Jun Hyuk will butter up to you to find an opportunity,

so stay sharp.

The person you need to watch out for Choi Jun Hyuk, not me.

Dad.

I will claim my place that was stolen by him.

Send Choi Jun Hyuk to me as my subordinate.

I'm not sending him to the foundation as he wants.

Okay, Kang Tae In. Become my family.

Come see who'll be on your side except Seo Ju and Dad.

As soon as you step into my house,

you'd have the worst experience you never had in your life.

Look forward to that.

You won't survive it with that spite from the gutter.

Give it to Chairman Han for me.

Are you okay?

Is the guy in the ward...

- Chairman Han's son? - Yes.

Has Tae In been...

treated that way...

by Chairman Han's family?

See you around.

Let me go with you. I'll get you a cab.

Ms. Secretary.

We did not raise...

Tae In to be a bad person.

Please take care...

of Tae In next to him.

I beg you.

The person you've called is unavailable right now.

She's not even picking up...

her phone since then. She's making me worry.

It's me. Do you just come to me when you need me?

I've opened the store, but you haven't even come.

It's the same with your in-laws.

How lowly do they think of me?

They should at least send a pot when I've opened up a store.

What an amazing family. Oh, my gosh.

I'm here on behalf of that amazing family.

Ji Hoon!

I'm sorry.

Have you been well?

Oh, hey.

I wasn't trying to trash talk your family.

Can you keep it a secret to your mother?

Don't worry about it. Can I have a chicken?

Take a seat. I'll grill up a tasty one.

No. I want 10 instead of 1.

I want ten delicious ones for a take-out. One of each flavor.

I knew that you were a generous man.

Is it for your company employees?

No. It's for a friend.

A friend?

My goodness, Ji Hoon.

Come help me.

It's chicken!

Ji Hoon!

Here.

- Have you been well, poop diaper? - Yes.

He just comes and goes whenever he wants now.

That's how you win a woman's heart.

So, is that how you won my heart?

Without a wedding ceremony and just leeching off my me?

Eun Chan can hear you.

We could eat this for four days.

Why are they so serious?

Are you crazy?

I can't hear them. What are they saying?

- I can't hear them. - I can't either.

Thank you for saving my dad.

I don't know how I'm supposed to repay you.

I just did what I had to do. Leave.

I didn't mean to trick you.

I meant to tell you...

who my dad was, but I couldn't find the right time.

Don't think it the wrong way.

Why do you have to tell me?

Whether you're the son of a chairman, director, or janitor.

How does it relate to me?

I mean...

I don't have time to worry about such things.

I barely earn enough to live every day.

I'm grateful that you see it that way.

There's nothing to be grateful for.

Be good to your father while he's alive.

Don't do anything you'll regret.

Why don't you work with me?

(Kang Tae In)

I heard that you scared my father.

That he shouldn't be discharged at all costs.

If he suffers from another angina and causes a heart attack,

his only option is another organ transplant.

How can I trust that?

Who else can you trust besides your family doctor?

And who was the one who did that to my dad?

It must be one of your tricks to postpone the parents meeting.

Seo Ju.

I don't know what your mother told you.

If you've been fed, you should pay for the food.

Mom is the one who made you a director.

But do you think she'll let go of this incident?

Don't you understand what it means?

Dad would have been done for if it wasn't for Eun Dong,

which means that things would've been over for you!

Look.

Do you now understand...

why I told you to be careful of this woman?

How do these two look?

Go show Chairman Han this picture as it is.

Or do you want me to do it instead?

What do you mean?

Vice President Choi is dragging in Junior Director Han for...

To force Seo Ju out?

You can check downstairs.

I think they are telling it to Chairman at the moment.

So Ji Hoon wants to try Jun Hyuk's works.

What do you think, Director Kang?

Ji Hoon wants to try working properly for the first time.

I don't know if there's anything for Junior Director Han to learn...

from Vice President Choi.

The only thing Vice President Choi did was drive people apart.

And as a result,

Seo Ju and I almost ended up at the prosecutor's office.

I believe he's someone...

who should've quit a long time ago if it wasn't for you, Chairman Han.

So...

you're going to push me away without anyone to side with me...

and you'll toy around with the company?

If it's what you want, I can go anywhere else than the hospital.

But what about Ji Hoon?

Has Ji Hoon ever been acknowledged as your son?

I believe it's right to give him a chance...

as an executive member instead of a temporary worker.

Honey.

Yes.

So you're Director Kang's secretary?

I'm Cha Eun Dong.

I heard about you.

I don't know how I'm supposed to repay you.

I heard that you're also helping out Seo Ju.

And now I'm indebted to you.

I want to do something for you.

"An unqualified person was hired as a stylist..."

"and even became Director Kang's secretary."

I believe there are a lot of talks behind me at the company.

Just let me keep my job.

I have a family to take care of,

and I want to finish helping Director Kang.

Yes, don't worry about that.

I'll help you keep your job no matter what others say.

But just show how competent you are.

You met Dr. Oh at the hospital yesterday, didn't you?

Yes.

She's Vice President Choi's wife.

Yes.

You also went through a lot of trouble because of me.

Jun Hyuk, you and your wife should get going.

Tomorrow I'll send her over to the disciplinary committee.

What are you talking about?

She should know why.

Get going now.

Chairman Han,

there's something that concerns me as Seo Ju is to marry soon.

It's about Cha Eun Dong.

- Ms. Cha? - Yes.

Director Kang wasn't the one who damaged Jun Hyuk's car.

It was Cha Eun Dong.

Tae In covered it up for her by saying that he did it.

While going to the prosecutor's office.

I can't understand the relationship between the two,

and why Tae In took it that far.

I don't think they are merely an employer and an employee.

Tell me.

What's going on between you two?

(Fatal Promise)

I've been really confused lately.

What are you trying to say?

Don't touch Eun Dong.

She wants to send Hye Won over to the disciplinary committee.

You also hired her without knowing...

that Tae In and Ms. Cha knew each other?

This can't happen because of Tae In.

Stay with me tonight.

I'll help.

Director Kang's secretary,

Cha Eun Dong, picked a ring at a high-end store.

With Tae In?

I'm thinking about deciding...

what to do with your offer with a test tonight.
