Ep 8

Why are you in such a rush?

I'll get you whatever you want.

Not trusting me this much,

acting so recklessly,

my daughter and I will die because of you.

Fine.

In the future,

I will obey you.

Obey me.

Officer Li,

I...

I'm pregnant.

I'm sorry.

I know you must be very, very sad.

Then I... I...

Can you get rid of him for me?

Where's Tang Yin?

She said she wanted to be alone.

I'm going to be a dad!

So it was you.

Have you heard of the saying,

to shoot with great precision?

Excuse us!

Excuse us! Excuse us!

Honey, I just felt the baby move.

It must be a girl.

How can that be? It's still so small.

What do you think?

I would quite like a girl.

If you are prepared to be a mother,

then I advise you

to give birth to this child.

After all the child is an innocent.

Protecting a child everyday as it grows up

you get quite a sense of accomplishment.

-In the future, when the baby moves, it'll get more obvious. -Really? I can hear it?

Don't you feel so happy?

Excuse us! Excuse us!

Don't do anything silly!

The child is innocent!

Psycho!

Go back!

Don't worry,

I won't do anything silly.

After all,

The child inside me is mine.

I've decided,

I'll keep this child.

Keep...

Keep the child?

Really?

Don't worry,

I'll protect you and the child.

I'll keep you white and plump. (means she won't have to do any work)

Who needs you to look after me?

I said I'll keep the child,

I didn't say you're his father.

If I'm not, who is?

It's not you.

Officer Li, the doctor is ready.

Thank you.

Let's go.

Investigate thoroughly for me,

how many people from the North are in the police force.

Immediately.

Now.

Trash that only care about money.

Aren't you curious,

why I want you to check that out for me?

As long as you can maintain Autumn's Door,

you can use all of my resources.

There are people,

if you give them some money,

who we can exert some control over.

Those people who betrayed you?

Betrayed me?

For money,

they would sell their own fathers.

Doctor,

how is the child?

Is it healthy?

How big is it?

Child?

Which TV prank show are you from?

Have nothing to do, so you play a prank on me?

So you're really here for a pregnancy checkup?

Are you joking?

Playing around?

Bored so you're here for excitement?

Is it cool?

Doctor, are you from Dongbei? (Northeast China)

Didn't think I'd see someone here from Dongbei too.

Is that my main point? Is that my main point?

What's this?

It says in black and white,

you're a virgin.

Tell me, how can you be pregnant?

How can you be pregnant?

Do you think you're Mary?

Shoot with great precision.

Doctor,

can you have another look?

Is there a mistake?

Look at what?

All the results from the tests are here!

Feeling sick!

Isn't it food poisoning?

How can it be pregnancy?

Did you use pregnancy as an excuse

to ask these two guys for money?

Quack!

Who are you talking about?

I'm sorry, sorry!

I wasn't talking about you.

I'm talking about the doctor from another clinic.

Enough.

It's good it's resolved.

Hurry up and go home. Stop the nonsense.

Doctor,

she's really not pregnant?

NO!

It can't be.

I...

You owe me a child.

D-didn't you not want one?

It was difficult for me to decide to have a child,

and then I'm told I'm not pregnant.

And that nothing happened.

What is this?

That day, we were drunk...

I can't remember either.

Can't remember?

I'm such a beautiful,

single girl.

Slept with you for a night.

You didn't do anything to me!

Are you a man?

I...

I wanted to...

What did you say?

Nothing,

I was saying,

although nothing happened,

but I'll still take responsibility.

Stop!

From this moment on,

we don't owe each other anything!

You don't have to be nice to me.

But I...

Then,

let's go back.

OK, OK, OK.

♫ Really want to stay with you for another day ♫

♫ Just to see your face once again ♫

♫ If this is goodbye ♫

Producers, directors,

I didn't sleep with them.

Ex-boyfriend

Ex-ex-boyfriend,

I didn't sleep with them either.

In the end,

while I was drunk,

I slept with a gigolo!

I only have this much, take it or leave it!

Is this getting paid without working?

♫ I only hope it will be later. ♫

Where's Jian Zi?

How would I know?

He was gone when I woke up!

Could he be working as a gigolo?

Come here!

Fine!

I'll tell you!

But,

this secret,

I'm only going to tell you.

You two, leave for a moment.

If you don't tell me, then I'll leave.

Actually,

it's all my fault.

I have a habit of sleeping naked, so Jian Zi,

when he saw my perfect body, he must have

felt inferior.

And then went back to his pub to exercise.

I think that must be it!

You can only spout nonsense.

Also,

What do you take this place as?

Can you come and go at will?

-You're right, Officer Cai! -You!

Officer Cai seems to be very

interested in my body.

Stop joking.

Hurry and tell me,

where's Jian Zi?

I think,

that rascal must want to create some privacy

for the two of us so he secretly left.

-He's smart. -You!

Officer Cai, you really turned around to look.

It's lucky I was prepared, otherwise...

you'd see everything.

My mum said, before I get married,

can't let others see.

Psycho!

My body is the Island's famous local specialty!

Officer Cai, Miss Tang has a visitor.

Jian Zi, come out!

Miss Tang,

I'm warning you,

the police have mobilized a lot of people and effort.

It's not for you to come here on a date.

I-I'm not dating anyone.

We're talking about the case.

Jian Zi, he...

disappeared.

Disappeared?

He didn't tell me.

Last night, he signed

to withdraw from police protection.

What about Miss Tang?

Do you want to sign,

to withdraw for the safety of the Island?

Do you remember when we reenacted what happened at the crime scene?

If we take Tang Yin back to the scene,

we are likely to find some new leads.

I can do it.

I can finally,

do something other than cause you trouble.

Wait, wait, wait. Say it nicely.

I'm in trouble because of you.

I've been kicked out by my girlfriend. I've nowhere to go.

Maimai,

help me ask your girlfriend,

where's the surveillance room for the GS2 road?

Fine.

Fill this in.

Protection Plan termination protocol.

GeGe, (Elder brother)

I think I'm being dumped.

The crime scene,

may bring back painful memories.

As long as the criminal is brought to justice,

I'm not afraid of anything!

I once said to myself something similar.

Sounds, smells,

rhythm, light,

are all points in the memory.

If there is sufficient stimulus,

through those points,

you can return to your memory.

What Lian Pu said to you.

He said,

"Can you tell me if your friend Shen Keke

left anything with you?"

What Lian Pu did to you.

He hung me up.

Don't worry, I'll definitely bring Lian Pu to justice.

Officer Li,

is there a possibility,

that are is more than one Lian Pu?

One is bad, one is good.

According to our research, there may be more than one Lian Pu.

But, no matter how many there are,

they are the biggest bugs on the island.

Anything else?

I-I don't really remember.

That day, I fainted. By the time I woke up,

I saw you.

The details that were forgotten,

are crucial moments to solve the case.

Blood.

I remember before I fainted, there was no blood on the floor.

We've sent the blood to analyze.

The DNA results will be back soon.

I'm telling you,

in the whole of the island, only I can conjure up such a good plan.

Relax, see you later.

I saw it, I saw it.

Is it that? OK.

Then I'll hang up first.

That rascal!

This time I'm telling you,

you owe me more than a meal.

Officer Li,

the DNA analysis results are back.

It's just what you thought.

It was him, right?

You have to be careful.

Understood.

I will increase the security.

You few..!

What are you smiling about?

What are you looking at?

Don't give it to her!

What?

Give it to me!

No!

Not following an order?

Connect me to GS2 surveillance room.

I-I'll head over now.

Mai Quan Cheng, you're a jerk, do you know?

Maimai,

I have to admit,

you're really good

at dealing with women.

Mistress, we fished it out.

Good.

He didn't lie to me.

Thank you, Mistress.

All that's left is Tang Yin.

How is it?

Have you found any leads?

We're still not sure at the moment.

You've worked hard.

Let's go back.

It's my fault.

I shouldn't have fainted when I did.

I couldn't give you the most important leads.

Why don't we go to Keke's home again?

Maybe when we go there, I might be able to recollect

what she gave to me.

Not bad. That handsome guy is quite romantic.

Err... I want to find Uncle Zhang.

Do you like the present Uncle gave you?

-I do. -Glad you like it.

Xiuer!

Mummy, does uncle's present look good?

Come here.

Get off the bed.

Mummy, what is it?

I'm fine.

I just saw that uncle is recovering so I'm happy.

Does the mask Uncle gave me look good?

Come,

don't wear this.

Xiuer,

why don't you play outside?

I have something to talk to uncle about.

Good girl.

If you're unhappy, vent your anger on me, don't touch Xiuer!

What are you talking about?

I only gave Xiuer a present.

You can get me to do anything,

don't touch my Xiuer!

Didn't I tell you before,

don't make a move before I recover.

Are you in such a hurry to make a move?

Aren't I...

coming back to discuss it with you?

You still don't trust me.

I'll tell you one last time,

the things Zhan Shili is not going to give me, I'll take it myself.

You should stop dreaming about finishing Autumn's Door,

just be a canary.

As for Xiuer,

how could I bear to touch her?

The nicer you are to me,

the nicer I'll be to her,

understand?

Uncle,

The Major Investigation unit has found something new. We need the CCTV footage for GS21106.

Jiayi,

the police have spent so much money and effort.

It's not used for you to express your love.

No, Uncle,

you misunderstand. It's not what you think.

OK, OK you don't need to explain.

The people I despise the most,

are people who don't get to the point.

Explaining this, explaining that, there's no end to it.

This thing called love,

it's very strange,

you can't use your mouth to express it clearly.

Your uncle has been through this.

When I was dating, I did even more than this.

I feel that this guy really loves you.

You should understand him.

Don't break up with him if you can help it.

Look.

Take this USB, you don't have to give me it back.

After all your unit never returns my USBs when you take them away.

Oh yes,

tell your uncle how you met? How long have you been together?

-When are you getting married? -N-No..

A few days ago, Officer Li came here to inspect our work,

and even criticized my carelessness.

Look, I left my keys in again.

But don't worry,

not even a fly can leave this place.

Let's go.

You little brat, I just thought I got kidnapped. Scared me to death!

I wanted to give you a surprise.

Well,

you can do whatever you like.

You said that.

Then let me see, after 2 years,

how well you've matured!

Don't mess around,

don't mess around, don't..!

I remember!

She said she'll go back with me tomorrow,

said she has to leave the island.

Oh yes,

that day, someone kept calling her.

Who called her?

I don't know.

Can you remember anything else?

I'm sorry,

I can't think of anything else.

Did I disappoint you?

It's fine.

You're doing great!

Give me a bit more time, I can do it!

I'll remember everything!

Canceled transmission signal.

There's something urgent I have to handle.

I'll take you back first.

I..I would like to go back to the pub.

There's something I have to collect.

A-alright.

I'll get Da Nian to take you.

Officer Cai!

Wait for me, wait for me!

Do you know how embarrassed I was?

I... I couldn't help myself.

Don't go overboard!

I'm leaving first, see you Officer Cai!

Senior!

It wasn't what you saw!

Err... he...he...no..

I suspect there's a mole.

We can't put our movements on the record.

A witness says Lian Pu appeared, in Room 303 on the 12th floor.

He's likely to still be inside. Follow me up.

Try and surround him!

Understood.

Who's there?!

Deleting files.

Files all deleted.

Why did Li Yongji go there?

He's not as simple as we think.

I'm worried about Tang Yin.

Never mind, let's talk when I get back.

Your accent just now was a little strong,

you're not from this island, right?

When someone is nervous, their accent comes out.

The South Island police Bureau doesn't have many foreign officers right?

The professional erased all the content inside.

No fingerprints,

no leads.

Senior!

This is a GPS tracker.

Such old equipment,

no one has used it long ago.

Why would Lian Pu use something like this?

This is a new lead.

Take the equipment back to the unit.

Remember, only we know about this.

Understood.

This GPS locator,

it doesn't have a monitor.

If it doesn't have a monitor,

then where does it transmit the location?

Unless it's transmitting the information...

Dear civil servant,

I've looked for you for a long time.
