Blade Man

Yes, Butler Yoon.

Secretary Ko?

Did you relay my message to the chairman?

Yes, I did.

I'm sure he was upset.

But how upset was he?

Was he very, very angry?

No, he said he would do that.

He agreed to it?

Are you serious, Secretary Ko?

Yes.

Representative Joo has been in a good mood lately.

He didn't agree to it happily, but he did agree to it.

Oh, my...

The heavens are on my side.

You can decide on the time and location, sir.

It's my dad! It's my dad!

My dad is strong! He's so strong!

My dad is strong!

Dad!

Yeah?

Don't you think Chang is over-excited?

It seems that way.

- Dad, dad! - Yeah, yeah.

- Dad, dad, dad! - Yeah, yeah, yeah.

It's because he likes you.

He really likes you.

He likes me?

Call out his name.

Come on, do it.

Chang.

Louder.

Chang!

Don't rush.

You'll fall.

Don't rush.

Dad. Lift that.

That?

Wow.

Dad! Lift that.

That?

- Wow. - Wow.

Dad!

Lift that.

Truck...

Don't do it.

Dad!

Do it!

Do it!

Do it!

Chang.

That clip you saw at Se Dong's house, that's all fake.

They just cut and pasted my picture there. I can't do that.

Chang is so excited, don't disappoint him.

What do you mean?

You are the type of dad that would tell his son

there's no such thing as Santa Claus.

That's true.

Chang.

When he uses his strength when everybody is watching, his magic will be gone.

Really?

If people find out, they'll all ask him to give them some of his magic.

If he starts giving out his power to others

he will be left with no strength in the end.

Is that what you want?

No, that wouldn't be good.

Right.

Then we have to keep it a secret.

Oh...

Hey.

When we get back to Se Dong's house...

Take Chang with you to the toy store and stay there for a long time.

If not, just buy the whole store.

Why?

He won't get away from me even for a moment...

I have no time to spend with Se Dong.

Are you asking for a favor?

Secretary Ko...

Secretary Ko...

- I don't think this was cut and pasted. - It was, you can totally tell.

- How can a person do that for real? - Look.

I think I've seen this scene before but there aren't any signs of alterations.

Someone must have really good skills.

I think they got that from a movie, and just put in the representative's face.

Right. If you just retouch it a little, you can't tell at all.

Right?

You took Jang Dong Gun and Go So Young's wedding picture...

And put your face in instead of Jang Dong Gun's...

You don't think we could tell?

We could tell... It was so bad.

If this really is a movie clip, can you find it?

I can look for it.

I really don't think this was mechanically done.

Young Master!

Should we go buy some toys?

No.

It's your turn again.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten...

Young Master!

Should we go buy some game cards?

No.

Chang.

You want to go buy a Hutos doll with Mister?

Ara, too?

Yeah, Ara, too.

Hurry. Let's go.

Hurry, let's go. Hurry, hurry.

Hurry...

Young Master!

Wait for me!

Hey!

Don't you think you are too much?

You and I are boyfriend and girlfriend.

We can't even do this?

You want me to die from frustration?

You must have sent out Chang because you wanted to be alone with me, too.

I didn't send Chang out so you can do that kind of thing.

Then what?

What is it, you sly fox?

Why are you glaring at me?

What are you going to do?

You...

You've made up your mind to bewitch me...

Son Se Dong.

Don't you remember what I asked?

Hurry and give me an answer.

Why aren't you giving me an answer?

Do I look pitiful to you?

What?

Is my poor relationship with my father threatening to you?

What are you talking about?

What do you mean?

My father and I...

We'll never make peace.

It will never happen.

Representative Joo.

How can I make peace with him?

I would rather move to the moon with you and Chang.

Representative Joo.

But because of you...

All for you...

I...

I decided to grant my dad's wish.

This is the first time ever since I was born.

Really?

Good.

You made a good decision.

If that will make my dad and Hong Joo's mom stop bothering you...

And if you won't think of me as a pitiful man...

I'll try.

I'll give it a try.

Thank you.

Hug me.

If you are thankful, hug me.

Dad!

Dad, it's Moya.

It's Moya. I see that you bought Moya.

Moya...

That girl...

You said she died after being ill for a while.

You said that, right?

But Hong Joo says that he knows her.

I want to know what he means by that...

Maybe Tae Hee is still alive...

Follow Hong Joo around.

Sis... It's me.

That kid's been wandering around comic book stores and guitar shops...

Now, he's gone into a PC room.

Are you sure you are not mistaken?

I heard it for sure...

That Tae Hee died in the U.S. after being ill for a while.

Still...

Until it's confirmed, find out more and follow him around.

I'm hanging up.

I really don't want to do it.

Representative Joo, this is an important event...

I really need to go and greet him?

He can't come in by himself?

If you've decided to do this for him...

I think it's best that you show your good will.

Can I just wait for him by the elevator?

I really need to go out?

Representative Joo.

Fine, I'll do it.

I won't move a step from here.

Wow...

This is Representative Joo of Global Games.

Hello, I'm Joo Hong Bin.

Am I really shaking hands with you?

This is just part of the company...

Wow...

Wow...

What is it?

Who's the one that developed this?

You want to meet them?

Please give me an autograph.

Next time, can I visit you at your house?

I know your house.

I live in that neighborhood.

Yeah...

A boy lives in that house, right?

Did you finish?

I'm so tired.

Good job.

What kind of little boy has so many things and people he wants to see...

I want to see him... I want to meet him...

He got all their autographs, and took pictures with all of them.

I gave him 10 game items.

I even told him to come visit me at my house.

I bet he'll be a hero when he goes to school.

Of course.

It would be nice if you can do that for Hong Joo, too.

What?

Invite Hong Joo and all his friends, and give them a tour like today.

And gift them with game items...

I'm tired.

Hug me.

Hurry.

Hong Joo will be going abroad to study soon.

It would be a big gift for him before he leaves.

Fine...

You are not going to hug me?

You have one more thing to do today, right?

All because of you...

I have to put up with all this...

Thank you.

If you are thankful, can I sleep over at your house?

Son Se Dong.

I've never seen a more sly fox than you.

What's with you guys?

Very strange.

Kim Seung Hwan, what is it?

What?

It's nothing.

Look at these guys...

Je Gil, I want to see you.

Follow me.

I'm really busy right now.

Follow me when I'm speaking to you nicely.

Oh, right!

Se Dong, let's talk for a minute.

It's nothing. Don't try to find out.

What is it?

Why are you guys whispering behind my back?

Hey...

I think Seung Hwan is telling her everything.

Should she find out? Isn't it better for her to not know?

I'm sure Seung Hwan has his reasons for telling her.

I want to tell her, too. She needs a wake up call.

Yeah!

She's so busy dating the boss, she hasn't been taking care of us like before.

Are you a kid?

You think she's our mother or something?

I didn't say she was our mother.

I'm just saying that she shouldn't abandon us for a man like that.

Fine, I'll tell you.

Yeah, hurry and tell me. I'm really getting disappointed here.

The kids...

We were discussing your birthday surprise party.

Why do you keep asking us?

Really?s

So, act like you don't know anything.

I'll act like I don't know.

But I look like I'm really happy right now...

What do I do?

I should go in acting disappointed that you didn't tell me, right?

Yes, mom.

How do I know where your spa bag is?

It's probably in the car.

Se Dong, are you okay?

Why?

Then are you breaking up with Representative Joo now?

What?

His father was the chairman of the company

where your father used to work when he passed away.

I found that out.

You didn't find that out. You just found out by chance.

Come on, be clear.

You are always trying to make yourself look good.

What?

It's true.

What did you say?

What are you talking about?

You didn't hear everything from Seung Hwan?

Se Dong.

Are you okay?

Okay, I'll go home early.

I have to go.

I thought you told her everything.

Mister, please let me meet the president.

My father got seriously injured at the construction site.

Since he got hurt while working...

If the president stamps his seal that it happened during work...

The doctors said they can start the operations right away.

Mister...

My father is Son Jae Young.

I'm his daughter.

He needs to get the surgery soon.

My mother passed away when I was in high school.

I'm his only remaining family. I'm a student, I don't have any money.

If the president just stamps his seal, my father won't have to die.

Mister...

The president is coming out. Please prepare the car.

President!

President!

Uncle...

If you help me out, I won't forget this.

I'll get a job, and pay you back in folds.

No...

I'll quit school, and get a job right away.

Uncle...

Uncle!

- The tour for the general's son... - How's your health?

I'm fine.

I'm all better now.

Get a comprehensive health assessment.

If you have coagulopathy

you won't be able to stop bleeding even from a minor cut.

I'll do that.

The tour went well.

I see.

It's good to have you not raise your voice.

Yes.

The general is here.

I'm Choi Kyung Joon, in charge of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport.

I'm Joo Jang Won.

He's my son.

It's nice to meet you.

I'm Joo Hong Bin.

I had to stop my meeting, and talk to my son for over five minutes on the phone.

It seems he can't calm his excitement after meeting Representative Joo.

You did well.

You've been a big help to me.

All he did was ask me questions...

How is that being helpful to your new work?

Just the fact that he met with me is very meaningful.

If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been able to meet him.

They say that a child comes to help out his father one day.

I guess that's true.

The car is ready, sir.

Representative Joo.

Representative Joo.

Are you angry?

That's how my father lived?

All his life?

Let's go.

Okay.

Did you talk to Ms. Se Dong yesterday on the phone?

No, I didn't.

Why?

It's nothing.

Young Master...

Bye...

Don't do that.

Your backs must be hurting. Why do you keep bowing down?

Don't do that.

Tell Gardener Kim that I want to see him.

Yes, ma'am.

Bring him to the north dining room.

North dining room?

That's for special guests only.

I know.

Relax, and enjoy.

Yes.

It's Indonesian tea.

Very expensive.

I see.

I hear your son is studying for the bar exam.

He should take care of his health.

That envelope Young Master Hong Joo left for the chairman...

You never received that.

Pardon?

You never received that.

Sit down. You don't need to get up.

I said you don't have to get up. Sit down!

Where is Ms. Shin Se Dong?

She went to production number 3 team to ask them something.

Everyone, sit down.

Sit down!

I can't stand watching you get up like that.

I heard Se Dong was here. Where is she?

You see...

While she was talking to us

she said she had to discuss something with Team Leader Choi.

Mr. Kim and Ms. Se Dong went to the rest area to meet Team Leader Choi.

Everyone, sit down!

Straighten your back, jerk!

I heard you were with Se Dong. Where is she?

We just finished up a meeting with Team Leader Choi, and she left.

She went out? Where?

It seemed like she received a call from someone.

Phone call?

Yes.

It seemed like she was talking to an elder.

She was very polite.

I don't think it was your father or Hong Joo's mother.

Your father is getting a checkup at the hospital.

And the madame is at the spa.

We called you out, so we should be buying.

It's okay. I make money now.

Here, have some.

Okay.

I'm sorry for not keeping in touch.

I've been very busy.

No, it's good to be busy.

Yeah, it's good to be busy.

Is Se Gul doing well, too?

Yes...

He's doing well, I guess.

You see...

We are about to lose the restaurant.

What?

Why?

Se Gul wanted to open a business...

So we took out a loan against the store.

But it didn't work out.

Then what happens?

That's why we came...

I'm here, Representative Joo.

Is she avoiding me on purpose?

Pardon?

I haven't been able to reach her since last night.

I waited until 3 AM, but she never came in.

I've been looking for her all day at work, but I can't find her.

She's avoiding me, right?

Why is she doing that?

You must know.

Tell me what you know.

I'm not sure.

No matter how much I think, there's no reason for her to do this.

She's so quick to break up with me.

She's so quick to ignore my phone calls.

Wait.

Yeah, tell me.

It's nothing.

What is it?

It's nothing.

It's really nothing.

I don't have much money in the bank...

Do you think they'll give me a loan?

You have a good job.

What's better than that?

We feel embarrassed...

But please, Se Dong.

Hello?

Se Dong.

Do you want to come to my kindergarten class on Friday?

All the mothers are supposed to come and read a book.

You can pick any book you want.

You can just pretend that you are my mom.

No! Butler Yoon is old.

No!

I'm not going to play with you anymore.

Hello.

Oh, my...

Young Master...

Did you have fun?

Young Master.

Young Master, please wait for me!

Mom, why does an adult have to talk to a child so respectfully?

- Young Master! - Let's go, I'll buy you rice cakes.

Young Master!

Don't come to pick me up.

I don't like you!

Young Master.

Young Master, did you have fun?

What's a young master?

Is that different from a master?

What?

Young Master!

Don't come to pick me up.

I don't like you!

Young Master!

Young Master...

Young Master, do you want a piggyback ride?

Mom, I think that young master doesn't have a mom.

No, don't say that.

Young Master!

Se Dong.

Representative Joo's been hunting you down for several days now.

How long are you going to avoid him?

Don't say anything.

All I want to do is pour water on my head and think right now.

Se Dong! Representative Joo is coming.

I'm not here.

You have a meeting tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock.

I'll be there, too.

If even one member is missing, everyone will have to resign.

You said loyalty is everything to you.

Let's see how much that loyalty shines through tomorrow.

Oh, no...

What do we do?

But I like that he doesn't make us get up anymore.

Is that what's important right now?

Se Dong, come on out.

Se Dong, what are you going to do?

He'll be at the meeting tomorrow at 10.

What are you doing here?

What are you doing here?

I'm waiting for my dad.

Mr. Joo Hong Bin?

Can't you just leave me alone?

Don't you have those moments?

Don't you have moments when you want to be alone?

How can a person report everything to another human being?

How can I tell you what I'm thinking at every moment?

I don't even know what I'm thinking!

Your actions don't make any sense.

Seeing that you are avoiding me, I know something is up.

Tell me.

Did Dad ask to see you again?

Did he say harsh words to you again?

Was it Hong Joo's mom again?

Did you meet her again?

She's not normal.

If you listen to everything she says, you'll die of anger.

What is it?

Why are you avoiding me?

Nothing.

Nothing happened!

Then why are you doing this?

I...

I want to tell you why I'm doing this, too.

All I need to do is just say it.

I don't know why I can't do it.

If it wasn't you standing there before me

I wouldn't even think twice. It's a simple solution.

Why am I avoiding you?

Just like your parents said...

Am I really just lingering around you for money?

Am I doing this because you are a successful man that everybody envies?

Is that why?

Am I that kind of a person?

Are you trying to insult me, Son Se Dong?

Or...

Am I really in love with you?

I don't even know what to do with myself...

Because I like you so much.

Did I like you this much?

Don't come.

Don't come near me.

Tell me exactly what you mean.

Why are you avoiding me if you like me so much?

Explain it to me clearly and precisely.

I can't.

Do it.

I can't.

Why not?

If I tell you...

It'll really be over.

What?

If I tell you clearly and precisely...

Will I still be able to see you?

Son Se Dong.

Please...

Please let me be alone for a bit.

Until I finish thinking...

Please wait for me.

I've changed a lot.

Everybody is surprised.

It's all thanks to you.

Really...

It's all thanks to you.

I don't know why you are doing this...

I feel like I'm going to die of frustration...

But, I'll wait.

I don't know if you know...

Waiting for someone...

That's the most painful thing to do in the whole world.

While I was waiting to hear from Tae Hee...

Do you know what I was most scared of?

Time.

There was nothing for me to do but wait.

That was hell.

Please release me from hell as soon as possible.

Won't you hug me before you go?

I'm scared.

Hug me before you go.

Yeah.

Representative Joo, Young Master Chang is missing.

Chang is missing?

What do you mean Chang is missing?
