Mubai,

this time, you don’t need to join the battle.

Got it?

Father,

this is our battle.

I can’t hide behind others.

Master.

Listen up.

For this battle,

you all must

follow Young Master Liu Mubai’s orders.

No disobedience.

Understand?

Aye.

Liu Mubai.

Mr. Mo and I think highly of you,

yet you obstinately aid a devil.

Today I’ll do housecleaning for Beiling School.

You’d better think for yourself first.

Capture him alive.

Charge!

Father.

Young Master won the battle again.

Lord, you really are a good father.

Mubai.

Well done.

Mr. Mo.

You picked the wrong side.

Do you regret?

Liu Qingtian.

You are the lord of the territory,

yet you fawn on the Black Dragon

to be an underling.

Do you feel good?

Liu Mubai.

You are the best disciple in Beiling School.

Aren’t you ashamed

to use these dirty tricks?

We don't have a disciple like him.

Father.

They are my master and schoolmates.

Please do not hurt them.

We aim to unite Beiling,

not to do slaughtering.

Beiling School enjoys high reputation.

We should have them join us.

Master.

Am I right?

Young Master is right.

We may have mercy on them.

Alright.

Soldiers.

Take them away.

By the way,

Young Master and Ms. Tang

will get engaged

in two days.

Master. It’s thoughtful of you

to remember it.

You are right.

Father.

We are at war.

Why not put it off?

No need.

Mu Feng was defeated repeatedly.

And we just captured so many men of his.

We have the advantage.

Don't worry.

The engagement

should be held.

Now that Master says yes,

Mubai,

you should thank him.

Thank you, master.

The Great Ruler

Episode 12

Qian’er.

Why aren’t you preparing

for the engagement?

Are you willing to marry me now?

So what if I am not?

My spineless father

gives my hand to a

man who aids a devil.

I heard that

you captured Mr. Mo and Xi.

Awesome, my dear.

You killed friends,

and captured your masters.

I’ll be

the next, right?

Qian’er.

I...

What?

Nothing.

No need to say anything.

My heart has

already stopped beating for you.

Be with me. I’ll protect you.

Anyway,

I’ll marry you sooner or later.

Congratulations, Young Master!

Nervous?

No.

Really?

I can feel

your body is shivering.

Alright.

I guess

two things make you nervous.

First,

if you can’t activate Devil-dissipating Circle,

you won’t fulfill your father’s mission to you.

Second,

you are worried you fail to rescue Luo Li.

What if you have to make a choice

between the mission

and Luo Li?

That won’t happen.

I mean hypothetically.

Why are you so talkative today?

Why are you so quiet today?

If I have to make a choice

between the mission and Luo Li,

I’ll choose to finish the mission first.

It’s out of my expectation indeed.

When the mission is done,

I’ll go to save Luo Li

whether it’s late or not.

What if you fail to save her?

I’ll die with her.

Go and die alone.

Don’t get me involved.

Jiuyou.

Thank you.

Save it.

I don’t want to die

with you when you fail.

Rest assured.

We won't.

Master.

What’s going on?

What’s going on?

How come I can’t use my power?

Mubai.

Mubai.

How could you do this to Master?

You did this, didn’t you?

Do you think you have the chance?

Idiot!

Really?

No-face Taoist.

You are scheming

and evil.

I’ll kill you for justice!

Mubai.

I can’t believe

even you use dirty tricks.

You impressed me.

However,

I’m not that incapable.

Mubai!

Mubai!

Lord.

What should we do?

Mubai.

Are you out of your mind?

Father.

Liu Territory comes to this end

all because of him.

He deserves to die!

Master.

My son is young and ignorant.

Please

spare him.

Father.

Are you begging him?

Does it make any difference?

Shut up!

What was the energy fluctuation?

Tell me!

Say no more.

Just kill me.

Stop!

Qian’er.

Tang!

You...

Liu Qingtian.

It’s not too late

to turn back yet.

Move.

Tang!

Shall we chase them?

No one can leave here alive!

Tang Territory!

They went to Tang Territory!

It’s near the Lake of Dragon.

Qingshan.

Tell my father

No-face Taoist went to the Lake of Dragon!

Mu Chen!

Don’t go there alone!

It’s too risky!

Everyone.

How is it going?

It’s not over yet.

No-face Taoist fled.

He won't stop.

Where is Chen?

We didn’t see him.

Mr. Mu.

Please save Mubai.

He... He was taken away by No-face Taoist.

Please save him.

Qian’er, get up.

Get up.

Mubai was

instrumental

in this operation.

Qian’er.

Rest assured.

I’ll save Mubai.

Mhmm.

Make every effort to capture No-face!

Aye.

Let’s go, Qian’er.

Mu Feng.

You meant to destroy the Lake of Dragon

by the Devil-dissipating Circle.

But the Circle hasn’t done yet.

Can you make it?

70% of the Devil-dissipating Circle is done.

The power is enough to destroy

the Lake of Dragon.

However,

it’s quite difficult

to do it accurately.

So...

So

someone must sacrifice himself

to guide

the energy flood.

Mo.

The blueprint of the Devil-dissipating Circle

is in my camp.

There is still

30% to be deployed.

I’ll count on you.

No.

You have worked on it for 10 years.

You have to finish it yourself.

I’m all alone

and have no burdens.

I’m the right person to guide the energy flood.

Beiling needs you

more than me.

I’ve made up my mind.

Say no more.

Lord.

Have some water.

Father.

Father.

You are the lord of Liu Territory,

the chief of human clan.

Do not be controlled by evil energy.

Father, look! I’m Mubai,

your son!

Mubai.

Your father is possessed by evil energy.

Do not act rashly.

Father.

Put down the sword.

We’ve made a big mistake.

Don’t step into

the abyss.

Father.

All the solders in Liu Territory

were dead.

Do not be controlled by the Power of Whisper.

Liu Mubai.

The Power has deepened into his bone marrow.

Do you think he can break free from it easily?

Now Liu Qingtian

is just a walking dead

and my puppet.

Mubai, be careful!

I lost my mother when I was little.

You brought me up yourself.

Do you remember that?

At the first time we sparred,

I fell 23 times,

yet you showed no mercy on me.

You told me

men should be indomitable.

Rise when we fall

and never compromise.

You also told me

I’m the sole heir of Liu Territory

and I shall further develop Liu Territory

to top all Nine Territories.

That’s engraved in my mind

and I dare not forget.

No matter how many times you stab me,

I’ll never leave.

Father.

I hope you can defeat the evil

and take me back to Liu Territory

to restore the glory.

Kill him, now!

Father.

Mubai.

He isn’t your father

but a puppet of No-face Taoist!

Liu Qingtian.

Wake up!

Father.

Mubai.

The mistakes I made

cannot...

cannot be redeemed.

Do not follow in my footsteps.

Father.

No-face Taoist!

Mubai, I’m sorry.

Mubai.

Father.

Mubai.

I’m proud of you.

You never let me down.

How dare you!

You are the Young Master of Liu

and responsible for Liu Territory,

not responsible for Mu Territory!

All I’ve earned

will be yours!

It’s my fault

to let you suffer.

I did it for you,

also for the future of Liu Territory.

You are my only son.

Father!

Father!

Father!

Wake up!

Father!

Luo Li!

Mu Chen!

One more step and I’ll kill her.

Luo Li!

Don't be afraid.

I will save you.

I’d like to see

how you save her.

Though I fail to get Luo God,

I can torture you by killing her.

That’s not a loss for me.

Kneel.

Don’t!

Mu Chen!

Do you think your death

can get Luo Li back from him?

Defeat him

and save Luo Li!

Mu Chen.

Kneel.

Don’t!

Mu Chen.

I’d like to see how you save her.

Forget it.

I’ll help you once more.

Luo Li.

Sorry.

I’m late.

Taste the Dark Blood Spell.

Mu Chen!

You do have a bad memory.

My Power-dissipating Spell

can suppress those with magic beasts.

Your beast power cannot beat me.

Go to hell!

Mu Chen.

Luo Li.

Mu Chen.

Perhaps we’ll die together.

Don’t say that.

We won’t.

I won’t let you lie.

Jiuyou.

As for now,

I have to use the Desolate Formation.

Think twice.

The Desolate Formation is powerful,

but the side effect is also severe.

It may even endanger your life!

I have no other choice.

Forget it.

At worst,

we will die together.

No-face Taoist.

I never expect to die such a humiliating death.

Jiuyou.

Sorry.

I’ll pay you back in my next life.

No need.

Just don’t lock me up.

Rest assured.

You may lock me up in the next life.

Are we

dead?

Mu Chen.

We survived.

Mu Chen!

Mu Chen!

Come.

Are you alright?

Yeah.

Let’s

go back.

Liu.

It’s the Devil-dissipating Circle of Mu Territory.

It’s not completed yet.

To destroy the Lake of Dragon accurately,

it must be guided

by flesh and blood.

Mubai.

Take Liu

away from here.

You want to feed yourself to the formation?

No more questions.

Leave now.

Or else it’ll be too late.

Mubai.

What are you doing?

This disaster

was caused by the Liu.

My father has died for it.

The rest

shall be done by me.

Don't act rashly!

Mubai.

Father.

Your mistake will be remedied by me.

I’m coming.

Wait for me.

Let’s go there.

Mhmm.

Is it

the Devil-dissipating Circle?

Mu Feng!

Mu Feng!

Mu Feng!

Mu Feng!

Mu Feng, are you alright?

I’m fine.

How was it going there?

The Eye of Source was destroyed.

All the soldiers of Liu Territory lost evil power

and died.

Mu Feng.

What happened?

Mubai

grabbed my sword

and activated the Devil-dissipating Formation.

I failed to stop him.

Mr. Mu.

Mr. Mu.

Chen.

What happened to Chen?

He was injured.

Bring him back first.

Mu Chen.

How is he?

Don’t know.

He just got checked.

Chen was injured by the Desolate Formation.

Ordinary people

couldn’t have survived,

yet Chen has Great Futu Pagoda in the body

and stayed alive.

However,

he was extremely exhausted

due to the long-lasting battle.

And No-face Taoist

cast Black Blood Spell on him.

I’m afraid

he might be blind.

Black Blood Spell?

Isn’t it Xue God Clan’s secret spell?

How come No-face Taoist knows

the secret spell of Xue God Clan?

Can it be dispelled?

People believed that

Black Blood Spell

had disappeared for thousands of years.

The therapy was also lost

with it.

So, can’t Mu Chen’s eyes

be treated?

No.

Lose doesn’t mean none.

There must be a cure.

There must be.

Yes.

You are right.

Since it could be cast,

there must be a way to dispel it.

No matter what,

we have to figure it out.

Mr. Mu, Qingshan.

You must be tired.

Take some rest.

Mu Chen got injured because of me.

I’ll take care of him here.

Thank you,

Luo Li.

Qingshan.

Let’s go.

Let Chen rest.

Mr. Mo told you to rest.

Stop drawing the formation.

I’m going to boil medicine for you.

Why not let others do it?

I don’t

trust them.

Wait for me here.

I’ll be back soon.

You were happy just now.

How come

you become dejected suddenly?

Jiuyou.

I can see you!

I live in your consciousness.

You see me not by eyes.

But Luo Li isn’t in my consciousness.

I can’t see her face anymore.
