[Mila reading title]

- [Carewolf purring] - [Mila laughs]

[grunting]

- [barks] - [laughs]

I'm gonna get you, Carewolf!

Oh.

- [Carewolf purrs] - [exclaims in excitement]

This new magic pet

is the cutest little cutie pie!

Have you ever seen a cuter face?

[panting]

[Jordie] Aw.

[Morphle grunts]

- [Morphle growls] - [Carewolf chuckles excitedly]

[both chuckle]

All right, my loves.

Time for Carewolf to go to bed.

[kids] Aw.

This little pup's got a big day in the morning.

[gasps] You get to meet your Magic Match.

- Yes, you do. - [Carewolf purrs]

[gasps] Can Jordie and I put her to bed in my room?

[Morphle and kids] Please?

[whimpering and panting]

All right.

- [Mila] Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. - [all cheering]

But Carewolf needs to sleep.

If I hear any peeps or pops or pippity-pops,

she sleeps with me.

Got it?

- [Mila] We'll be good. - Thanks, Mom.

[both] Carewolf bedtime party!

[Mom] Quieter, please!

[softly] Carewolf bedtime party!

There you go, Carewolf.

Nice and soft for a good night's sleep.

[Morphle chuckles]

[Carewolf purrs excitedly]

[Carewolf barks]

Uh, Mila,

I don't think Carewolf wants to go to bed.

[barks]

Huh?

Ooh. Pricky.

I don't remember Carewolf having fangs.

- Do you? - No.

[Carewolf panting and barking]

[whimpers]

[Mila] You want to sleep outside?

- [whimpers] - Watch this.

Morphle, morph into a tree.

[Morphle exclaims]

Just like being outside, right?

[panting and barking excitedly]

Carewolf, please.

We still want to play too,

but it's time to go to bed.

[barks]

Now where'd that come from?

[Carewolf barks]

What do you think she wants?

Maybe a doghouse?

You wanna sleep in a doghouse?

- Morphle? - [Morphle exclaims]

[whimpers and barks]

Mom's not gonna like that.

[whooshing]

And now she's got wings?

- Oh, maybe she liked those. - [Carewolf barks]

[barks]

Hey! Come back here!

So, what's going on in here?

- [kids] Nothing! - [barks]

[exclaims and gasps]

[laughs]

Nothing, huh?

[giggles]

Nothing other than that.

We keep trying to put her to bed,

but she keeps transforming and wanting to play.

- [Carewolf whimpers] - We've tried everything, Mom.

We're all different.

She may have her own special bedtime routine.

Like how Dad brushes his beard before bed?

[chuckles] Yes.

Or how you need a goodnight kiss.

[kisses]

These special routines help us unwind and relax.

[gasps] A goodnight kiss!

I bet that's what Carewolf needs.

Can we have another chance, Mom?

One more chance.

But if I come back and she's still awake,

I really will have to take her.

Okay.

[Morphle exclaims]

[Morphle hums bedtime tune]

[Carewolf yawns]

There we go, little one.

Lie down, get real cozy.

That's it.

- [kisses] - Good night, Carewolf.

[Carewolf barks]

[barking and panting]

That is one naughty little puppy.

Good, Carewolf! Stay, girl!

[strains]

[Jordie] Oh, no!

Now what?

She's still meeting

her Magic Match in the morning.

We've got to find her and put her to bed.

[sighs] But I wish I knew

why she won't calm down for bedtime.

Uh, Mila,

listen to this.

It says at night,

Carewolf transforms into Scarewolf.

And the only way she'll transform back

is by howling at the moon.

So Carewolf wasn't trying to stay awake on purpose.

She was trying to go to sleep.

Now that we know,

let's go help Carewolf howl at the moon!

Morphle! Morph into a paraglider!

[Morphle exclaims]

Oh! Wait one second.

Mom, we're going out to help Carewolf sleep

by howling at the moon.

Be back in a few!

[Mom] I knew you could figure it out.

We're coming, Carewolf!

Down there!

[whimpers]

[Mila] Oh, Carewolf, we're here to howl!

We know you need to howl at the moon.

[whimpers]

Uh, Jordie?

There's no moon.

No, no. The moon is up there.

We just can't see it because it's behind the clouds.

[Mila] Hmm.

Then what if we take Carewolf

above the clouds where the moon is?

That's a great idea, Mila.

Morphle, morph into a hot air balloon!

Morphle, morph morph!

Come on, Carewolf.

Let's find that moon!

- [Mila] Wow! - [Jordie] So cool!

[howls]

That looks like fun!

- [kids howl] - [howls]

- Jordie, look! - [whimpers]

[yawns]

Carewolf, I'm sorry

I didn't understand your needs.

Next time, I...

Um, Mila,

Carewolf's asleep.

[sleepy time music playing]

[chuckles]

I'll tell her tomorrow.

Let's go home.

It's almost our bedtime, too.

Morphle now sleepy.

- [laughs] - [Mila chuckling] Oh, Morphle.

[kids chuckle]

[theme music playing]
