...any

Ashaf! Don't make me wait

What's the rush? Your food will get cold.

What beautiful weather

Maybe we should have eaten out

Stop making me late and get me that damn thing!

Oh, my God. When are you going to learn patience?

Do you want to die?

I remember you said you'd kill me later.

Now listen

This message describes a series of dismembered bodies into pieces, apparently at the hands of a witch.

But I think this case is going to be more difficult than usual.

Really?

They won't miss a witch case that takes place takes place on the third continent

Unfortunately, our job is to communicate with the witch.

The cavalry corps is sure to get in our way.

Which means we're going to have to fight to get it.

The Witch The Devil's Sword Opening chapter

That tower...

They'll destroy the entire city at this rate.

The witch is on a rampage

What exactly do these people do?

An evacuation, I suppose.

Too much drama. She's just a witch.

That's precisely why they run away

The cavalry wasn't called in on a case At the witch's amusement.

This careless handling of the case stopped the panic from spreading to the city's population

This is what the level of Fear of witches

After all, a witch can can easily level a city or two

Stop. Do not exceed this point

And why such light clothing in this weather?

We're from out of town.

And fall has just begun. Can you explain why it's so cold here?

There's a witch on the loose. Anything can happen

So whenever disaster strikes, a witch is to blame?

What did you say?

nothing

However, this complicates things

My grandmother lives alone

I can't reach her, so I want to make sure she's okay

If that's the case, I don't mind Allowing you to stop by.

But I can't let your luggage through so easily.

Well, that's what I'm assuming.

So, may I see your identity and the contents of the coffin?

Does tagging do the trick?

Yes. Put it here

Magic user. I expected that. It looks like you're originally from this area

Nothing suspicious

Next, the coffin

This won't be a hindrance.

Is this...

Church license for this magical tool

proves that there's no way for me to smuggle anything illegal through it.

Yes, I trust anything from the church.

You! Accompany them

Yes!

What? Did you get lost?

I can pull up a map if you'd like

Don't kill him, Guido.

Well, we don't want to stall.

He said you're from here. So you must know your way around.

That identity was, of course, fake.

Isn't working for the Magic Ring appropriate?

He punched them to save time.

Oh, my God! How barbaric you are.

I'm cold even though I'm wearing a coat

Snow may fall

Mr. Koga, we are facing a witch.

How do you leave your assistants and challenge them on your own?

Postpone your complaints for later

I lost track of the witch

-Sir, facing her again without support will

Later

I trust you will continue to search for the witch

When you find the goal, prioritize to hold it in place

Leave the witch's defeat to me

That's reassuring.

But your job is to catch the witch.

You may not kill her under any circumstances.

Who is this?

Emissary of the Holy Church

Looks like he's been investigating this witch some time ago.

He deserves credit for exposing this incident so early

But what is he doing here?

Provides information, or so I've been told

He must know important details about this witch.

That's the castle. The cavalry corps works outside of it during missions

Constructed of special materials and surrounded by with many barriers

Even a witch would have a hard time if she tried to destroy it.

The areas surrounding this city are solid.

Even if we break through, the Knights will sense it and come running. and come running.

So how do we get in?

The witch is in there, remember?

The correct answer is to form a hole without getting caught

And I have an amazing talent for performing tricks like this.

I can cancel spells, at least. Like any witch.

You are blessed with an excellent organizer and partner

Stop bragging and just do it!

Don't rush these things

What is it?

This...

The Witch

Asaph! Open this thing

Don't rush me

I'm almost there

Shit. What's wrong with them?

I don't want to die yet.

I won't let myself die

I haven't even gotten a boyfriend yet!

So she has that, too?

Sir! I lost my trackers in the fight with the witch!

Which means she wiped out the entire research team.

Prepare for a second wipe then.

According to the data from the first scan. The witch creates and controls the swords

She's about 170 centimeters tall. She has long black hair

and we checked for a tumor around her right eye

-but I don't understand how

It's 168 centimeters.

Excuse me?

Their length

And her hair is black with a bit of color. red, if we're being precise.

She seems to prefer neutral-colored clothing

She always carries a tubular leather bag

Apart from that...

You seem to know a lot of things that are strangely accurate.

So maybe you know what lineage this witch comes from?

This is the most information we need

Knowing her lineage will lead us to know the powers she inherited.

He's part of the research team

Sir! Trackers have been destroyed.

The cause is unknown!

The search team was supposed to stay undercover

What happened?

I was watching the witch from outside her estimated range of attack.

but I didn't see her make any moves.

It looked like something attacked my blind spot

What is it this time?

Oh, my God.

Keep buying us time, Guido.

I've got you now, you nasty witch!

Take a good look at me. Do you remember my face?

There's no way I would know a woman

with a wicked grin like yours!

You won't let go!

Well done, Guido.

It was a long spell, but luckily luckily, I finished casting it in time

It's a pressure spell

I didn't ask you to

But it can't be the bitch I'm looking for. for her if you can hold her up like this

She's very weak.

Are you sure it's her?

She's a real charmer.

For reasons I won't go into, it cannot use its full power

Otherwise, I wouldn't let you attack a witch. directly otherwise.

What? How do you know this information about her?

Because I know

I knew what kind of witch she was as soon as I saw her Altoma

In fact, she's the weakest witch I know.

But still charming. You may occasionally your expectations from time to time

Our predictions would be more accurate if you stop withholding information

I realize I'm not welcome here.

I was afraid you'd fire me if I told you everything I know.

Not as much as you'd like

Creating and controlling weapons doesn't take a witch to do it.

But one witch's mark, the Altoma. only hers, the one with the swords.

Do you mean...

She's an ancestral scion, the fearless witch. Queena Velvet

Helga Velvet

Due to certain factors, her entire pedigree Weak in combat capabilities

But you must remain vigilant.

I know it's weird, but while she may be the weakest witch.

But it also has the power to destroy the world.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Is this a joke?

Does it make sense that she brought...

Devil's Sword

Yes

The real danger in this case is not the witch herself.

It gives the bearer the power to rule the world.

and brings destruction to everything.

The Witch Possesses the Devil's Sword Most likely Ashghan

Mobilize every possible unit

If this witch has the sword of the devil, we won't spare a moment

We will attack it with all our might.

Yes!

Varmus, stay here and take command of the tracking force.

present

And there's one more thing

You want me to keep watching him?

He's not trying to hide his suspicious appearance.

But that doesn't mean he's an innocent man.

He's also a magic user. Use extreme caution

Okay, I give up.

I doubt my suppression spells are able to stabilize her

Just squeezing it took a lot of my magical energy.

I didn't count on her having a demon sword.

It's a very large mass

That's why my spell canceled on its own

What's wrong with this demon sword? Is it that great?

Yes. Incredibly great

The Devil's Sword can only do so much unless someone draws it.

But once it's unsheathed, it's difficult to to deal with, even for a witch.

So he's fucking strong?

Exactly.

Stronger than me?

Who knows?

But I'm anxious to see which one of you is on top.

Hey, hey, hey, hey.

I found you

In the meantime, will you do something about those pesky crows?

I'd like to talk

No more violence

Excuse me? Don't you think it's too late for that?

If you wanted a friendly conversation, you should have you should have said that before attacking me.

For that, I apologize

I would have preferred other ways, but I didn't have a choice.

Actually... How shall I put it? We don't seem quite trustworthy.

Correct

So would you listen to us in a situation like this?

Never

Well, that's what I meant.

We want to hide you somewhere safe.

My hiding place?

Yes. Trust me.

We are not your enemies.

We've come to help you escape from the clutches of the cavalry.

Sexy

Don't be too hard on them, Helga.

Hey!

What if you don't trust them?

You must be ready to grasp at straws. -right now. So whatever

Enough talk!

What a surprise! The demon sword speaks?

Why are you surprised?

Swords talk. Everyone knows that

Ashgan! Don't make me repeat myself.

You know I'm always warning you to shut up.

-Talking is the nature of the sword

Shut up!

Can I ask you a question?

I thought the descendants of the daring witch

She keeps the Devil's Sword in a lock and a key in a secret location.

Going public puts it at risk. I assume you have your reasons for doing so?

It's none of your business.

I refuse to trust anyone right now

Then you should finish us off quickly.

Why don't you?

If you're questioning our sincerity, we're not nothing but enemies to you.

This incident began with six murders. Murder by witch. Six victims in total

If you've already done it, why hesitate now

Back off!

You seem to lack a cold heart. required to kill unarmed people.

You didn't kill them, did you?

In that case, I'm even more eager to help you

What do you get out of it?

What do you want? I doubt you're doing anything charitable.

This woman's life?

All right. Take it

Don't talk about me!

Whatever they want, don't reject them

Accept their terms

It would be more fun that way.

What a rude interruption.

Here's the second wave

What exactly are they doing?

They are knight incarnations.

Destroying it won't harm the Horsemen.

They'll be recharged with magical energy from the the castle's reservoirs and come back for more.

So they send an endless number of soldiers that don't even die?

Yes. This is the standard strategy of the Knight Corps to hunt witches.

in the face of stalker fire. Two layers should be enough

Quickly! This way

Hold his hand and stay with him

You can't survive on your own.

I'm sorry, but I have to continue on my own

I don't need your help.

...but

Thanks anyway.

This is a clear rejection

She deserves it

Why are you acting like it's not your issue too?

Follow her

I trust you understand, Guido.

What?

She's not the witch you're looking for.

So forget about her for now and focus on on our mission to bring this witch back.

Protect that witch with every fiber of your being.

I don't need you to tell me how to do my job

What a stubborn woman you are.

However, I will enjoy seeing how long you'll be able to endure your isolation

-Shut up! If it weren't for you, I would

This cold...

Yes

Looks like he came

Stop fighting the inevitable, witch.

I've made up my mind not to let you to get away again.

What is this? In the flesh this time?

Then you'll die if I kill you.

Everyone loses themselves in the process the pursuit of my power
