She said she wants to show us something.

Don't tell me she has done it again.

Nothing surprises me anymore.

Same here.

I'm so excited!

I'm looking forward to it!

It'll attract too much attention if I bring them all out at once.

I'll just show you a bit of it.

Deploy

Left Hand!

Here I go!

Nice! So cool!

-Amazing, Maple! -Amazing, Maple!

I see. That's what it is this time.

She has another new skill.

It's a machine this time?

Thank goodness she's an ally.

How was it?

Your combat power is stronger now!

That hurts.

You're pumped up!

The guild competition is finally starting.

I don't think you need to level up any more...

What happened to Frederica?

She went to investigate the Maple Tree.

Not the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor?

Like I said before,

there are too many unknown factors with the Maple Tree.

I think you're just thinking too much.

Watch this!

Hey, you!

-We're here! -We're here!

-Sorry. -Sorry.

It's okay.

The swimsuits Iz made are awesome.

We even get bonuses on our swimming skills.

I wonder what the guild battles will be like?

There's still some time until the event.

We should take the chance to get ourselves together.

And work hard on leveling up!

We all have different ways

to fully prepare ourselves.

I'll help myself then.

This should be enough.

This is great.

All these have the Indestructible skill, too.

CAN ACCESS ATELIER ANYWHERE CAN BE USED TO MAKE NEW ITEMS

I can craft new items anywhere!

CAN BE TRADED FOR CERTAIN MATERIALS

This really suits me!

That was fun!

Is something wrong?

Then...

You, over there!

It's about time for you to come out now!

Did I get exposed?

It's obvious when there are eyes staring at you.

Staring at us?

That's not it!

I remember you. You're Frederica?

Hi! Long time no see.

Why are you here?

Are you here to swim?

That's a pretty good idea.

You're here to investigate, aren't you?

You're doing research for the guild competition, right?

Let's discuss something.

What?

Do you want to battle with me?

Why should I do something like that?

The winner can get the information she wants.

I want the information you have on the Congregation of the Holy Swords

or the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor.

I can't just let you go like this

now that I've discovered you.

Rather than fighting with four people,

I think this is a better option.

All right.

But I can only give you information on the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor.

How's that?

Okay, I've sent the request.

I'll be back!

Where did they disappear to?

They went to battle, Maple.

I remember there was a system like that.

They'll be back once the battle is over.

Is that so?

Then let's go fishing while we wait.

-Okay! -Okay!

Fire Bullets!

I really can't hit her.

But it's not impossible.

Let me observe a bit more.

I'll take you down!

Fire Bullets!

This is my chance!

Fire Bullets!

Super Acceleration!

So this is how you're going to fight?

Multi-Barrier!

Multi-Fire Bullets!

Coax Attack!

I was forced to use it...

Coax Attack?

It's my first time hearing that.

Then...

Multi-Water Bullets!

There is a cool-down period for the Coax Attack.

There's no way a strong skill that can block all attacks

could be used continuously.

Multi-Stone Bullets!

Have I succeeded?

Stream!

I see.

You're good.

You made me pull out my Stream skill.

All right, I surrender.

Okay.

Then as I promised,

I'll tell you about the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor.

So there's Markus, the trap specialist,

Misery, the Saintess, and Shin, the Destructor?

Other than Mii, the Flame Empress,

there are other strong players too.

I've kept my promise!

Bye!

I messed up by using Multi-Barrier.

But if we continued fighting,

I would've revealed a lot of information about myself anyway.

Plus, I saw her secret skill

and even leaked information on the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor.

Now if they destroy each other, we'll be the winners!

As they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer!

Fake skills?

That's right.

Coax Attack diverts the opponent's attack to another direction

and Stream repels attack within a certain amount of time.

That's basically just fighting back with your own ability.

That's not easy.

But why did you do something like that?

Because getting false information is even scarier than not knowing anything.

Frederica is a top player, isn't she?

Players like her always deceive people during battles.

If you're stronger than your opponent, it's easy to act weak.

It's almost time.

Hello!

Thank you for waiting, everyone!

Let me explain the rules

of our fourth event, the guild competition.

Listen up!

As we previously announced,

time will speed up during the event.

Just like last time,

you cannot join or quit in the middle of the event.

The event will go on for five days.

It's shorter now!

The guilds will be split into three types, big, medium and small.

Each guild earns points differently.

It seems we're considered a small guild.

Each guild will have their own base

and you must guard an orb inside that base.

In addition, you earn extra points

if you steal orbs from other guilds.

For every six hours your orb is safe in your base,

you get one point.

Small guilds get two points.

If you bring back an enemy's orb and defend it for three hours,

you get two points.

Also, the guild whose orb gets stolen loses one point.

In other words, this is a battle for orbs?

We receive one point every six hours when we defend our orb

and small guilds get two points.

We get two points for stealing an orb and keeping it for three hours.

The team who loses an orb loses one point.

So the way to win is to defend

and keep bringing back more orbs!

Once points are earned,

the enemy's orb will return to its own base.

Please note that if you steal your orb back within three hours,

you won't lose any points.

So even if an orb is stolen, it will automatically return.

It seems we can track where our orb is with the map.

But even if we steal other teams' orbs,

we can't loosen up.

The defense is really important.

Next, we'll talk about punishments.

I see.

You're eliminated if you die five times.

It'll be harder to attack if we lose members,

especially for a small guild like us.

That's it for the rules!

So tired after talking so much.

If you still don't understand,

you can pull up the navigation menu again!

All right, do your best, everyone!

Bye!

We need people for the defense,

but it's difficult...

Is there a huge problem?

We don't have enough people to send out for an attack

nor defense.

The main problem with not having enough people is that no one can take breaks.

People will keep attacking us,

even overnight.

So...

We'll have to battle the whole time.

A lot will be exposed over these five days.

It'll especially be a problem if people find out

there are usage limits to Maple's skills.

That's true.

So it really depends on how much we can hide Maple's ability.

Maple, Yui, and Mai will be in charge of defense.

-Yes! -Yes!

And you too, Kanade.

I can do anything.

Kasumi, Chrome, and I will mainly be the attackers.

Iz will stay at our base as our back-up.

How's that?

Let's do it!

Everyone should also work hard and level up

before the event starts.

THE FOURTH EVENT IS STARTING

THE CONGREGATION OF THE HOLY SWORDS HAS TOP PLAYERS TOO

AND MAPLE... HOW DO I SAY THIS...

-WHAT IF SHE ATTACKS US? -CAN'T DO MUCH ABOUT THAT

All right, let's do this!

Our goal is to get into the top ten!

-Agreed! -Agreed!

Then our fourth event, the guild competition,

starts now!

This is our base?

We'll be in charge of the offense.

Let's move according to the plan.

Be careful out there!

What?

You jerk!

This is bad!

What happened?

That...

Thank you for leading the way.

Everyone, start attacking!

Bring it on!

She's still so good at avoiding attacks.

If only I could do the same...

The girls in our guild are all terrifying.

What in the world happened?

What?

We got one!

Kasumi, can you bring this back to the base?

I got it.

I'll investigate around.

Be careful.

Okay.

I know Maple is incredible,

but I've come to realize that Sally is a monster too.

I am truly relieved that she's our ally.

There's an intruder!

There's only one person. Don't panic!

Mirage!

Leap!

Up top!

-What? -Where did she go?

Super Acceleration!

What are you guys doing?

Find her!

The orb!

Where did that brat go?

Over there!

Hurry up and come. Hurry!

They're fighting!

It's fun even just watching them!

Quick Shadow.

The enemy is attacking!

It's a huge-scale attack!

Strike back!

Give us our orb back!

You shameless thief!

You were the ones to come steal our orb first!

Where is that girl with the long robe?

There's no such girl in our guild!

We've got our hands on a second one!

I need to move faster.

I'd better hurry.

I think a big guild will win.

There seems to be no chance for small guilds.

If a big guild wins,

will it be the Congregation of the Holy Swords

or the Flame Emperors?

I'm going to cheer for the Congregation of the Holy Swords.

They're coming.

Then, let's take action.

Come all at once!

Ground Splitter!

Heavy Charge!

Burn Axe!

Grand Lance!

Multi-Light Cannon!

That sure was a mess!

We've set up a perfect defense.

Now we just have to wait for the offense team to come back.

Hey, you two. The plan has changed.

Everyone, take the orb and head back.

But...

Hurry up.

Yes.

It has been a while.

It seems you've gotten stronger.

It's hard to say.

I trust my instincts.

Super Acceleration!

Super Acceleration!

You gained that skill too?

But...

Was it really your instinct?

If I doubt that too,

I'm done for.

Godspeed!

Stream!

He's gone.

Was he just here to say hi?

But I let him see my Stream skill.

That's good enough.

Will things be okay?

Will people break through our traps?

Markus, it'll be fine.

Even if they do,

we still have our reliable comrades here.

I'm so worried.

If our orb is stolen, we'll get in trouble.

Look.

The attackers this time also fell into your trap and got hurt.

It's no wonder you're the trap specialist!

But...

All I did was set traps and wait.

Don't worry.

Mii will bring back an orb for all of us.

Flame Empress!

Eruption!

Explosive Flame!

This is a Magical Power potion.

Thank you.

Go get the orb.

I'll chase after her.

You guys bring back the orbs we have.

Flare Accel!

Quick Shadow.

Flame Empress!

Flame Spear!

Flame Empress!

She got away.

I'm so sorry, everyone.

I'm not suited to be a leader.

I can't take this anymore!

I must beat you the next time we meet!

This is those women's base?

It has to be.

My orb...

I mean, our orb is in there!

Everyone, go!

I believe this is the first time the eight of us are fighting together.

Now that you say it, it seems so!

Maple, please show your classic moves.

Got it.

Let's get it back!

Let's get our pride and orb back!

Action!

Did we succeed?

What is that?

Now is not the time to be scared!

-Throw! -Throw!

You brat!

Why didn't she get hurt?

This won't do.

Tactical withdrawal!

Paralyze Laser!

So despicable!

All right, goodbye!

At least...

Take this!

How can that be? Why?

It's Maple.

All right! Everyone, go ahead and attack!

THE FOURTH EVENT HAS STARTED

THE GUILD COMPETITION IS ON FIRE

-WHICH GUILD DO YOU THINK WILL WIN? -OBVIOUSLY THE HOLY SWORDS!

-HOW ABOUT THE MAPLE TREE? -THEY'RE OUT OF THE ORDINARY
