♫ La La My love~ ♫ "The Masked Lover" - Mission 9

I initially joined Yi Ching with the purpose of taking revenge on Wu Ping An.

At that time, I never thought that I would eventually fall in love with her twin sister.

If she is the boss lady of Yi Ching group, will you still be supportive like this?

What is relevant is that she is someone that my son likes.

Senior Sheng Xi, what brings you here? Did you just come back from overseas?

Because you are the woman that I, Jiang Sheng Xi, am going to pursue.

That garbage Zhao Tian Xing didn't bring any guards with him.

Let's get ready to launch our secret weapon this time.

Sorry, I couldn't keep my promise to you.

Zhao Tian Xing!

Senior, can you help me?

- Hey! Stop! - Get lost!

This isn't a place for you guys to act as gangsters.

- Where is Zhao Tian Xing hiding?! - Senior, thank you.

- Can I borrow your computer for a minute? - Sure.

You're awake?

Sorry.

I'm leaving.

Thank you.

Yi Ching Group was found to be selling drugs a while back.

Why are you still so stubborn?

Would you like to see your own brother send your loved one to prison?

If it wasn't for Le Jun who told me about this, you really didn't plan to tell me you were hurt, am I right?

Where is Ah Liang?

Isn't he always by your side? You're hurt, but why don't you have any man by your side?

Ah Liang said that he needs to take care of something.

I told him to focus and handle it. No need to come here particularly.

This is just some superficial wound, so I didn't want to alarm you.

And also, I was staying quite comfortably

in the previous hospital. Why must I get transferred to such a high class hospital room?

Not really. Is your wound deep and painful?

How about your head? Dizzy? Nauseous?

It's fine. This is our family's hospital.

Just treat it as your own home. If you need anything, just call for someone.

It is very safe here in the hospital of Hospital Head He. The entrance and exit are secured.

Just stay here and recuperate well and don't worry that you'll get disturbed.

As for company matters, don't worry about them for now. Le Jun and I will cover them.

Thank you, General Manager.

But when I get out, I must let Boss Rong pay for this.

The ones who ambushed you are Boss Rong's men?

Yes.

They knew that they cannot defeat me on their own, so they specifically hired someone who looked like a professional killer.

They were afraid to fight me one on one, so they sneaked an attack.

What a coward.

Last time, when Hei Biao was fired from Yi Ching, he also sent men to block Zhao Tian Xing.

This time, it is Boss Rong who specifically sent men to do such a cruel thing.

Could it be that Hei Biao and Boss Rong have some connections?

Zhao Tian Xing stepped on their line.

So he is now a threat to Boss Rong's interests.

Jing Xuan, General Manager transferred me to another hospital. It was done quite suddenly, so I haven't had the time to inform you.

It's very safe here, but I won't be able to see you. If you have time, can you come visit me?

This is the hospital's location.

Would you like to see your own brother send your loved one to prison?

Is it the nurse's station? Are they paging you?

No.

It's good that you don't need to rush back to the hospital.

At least, we can enjoy this meal well.

This restaurant's ambience is very good. I reserved the whole place for the afternoon.

We can eat slowly. No one will disturb us.

What's wrong with you guys? Why must you reserve the whole place when eating with a girl?

So...Zhao Tian Xing also did this before?

The recommendation from the online source is really unreliable.

I am on a dinner date so can you guys make your faces look better?

Don't scare other people.

Second Brother told you guys to smile, so smile!

What are you smiling about?

Ah, nothing. Just thinking about some stuff when I ate with my friend.

The weather is not bad.

Not bad.

Actually, for Boss Rong to hire a professional killer,

this might not be just some normal grudge.

We should try to know more about this situation covertly.

What you said is indeed right. But...

Sister still hasn't woken up since the car accident.

Tian Xing is also badly injured now.

Last time, we were chased, targeted to be killed, and even fell down the cliff.

I feel that when one's in Jianghu, [Jianghu here refers to the underworld.]

even if you want to retreat or change your ways,

it still seems you can't do anything on your own volition.

One needs some time to withdraw from Jianghu. [Jianghu here refers to the underworld.]

Just like if you want to change your habit of scratching your nails, it will also need time.

Should we play some bowling to relax my fingers?

Last time, when I went there with you, you wanted me to be your husband.

What are you planning to do this time?

When did I plan on doing something?

Last time, wasn't it because I was helping to find Xiao Jing a father, that's why...

It's not as if you don't know.

I just got back from abroad that time. Other than people in the company, I don't really know other people.

What choices do I have?

So you have a new choice now?

No one to choose from.

No one to choose from, then it's still me then.

That's right.

Actually, I still have another way of relaxing one's fingers

without having to go bowling.

Do you feel more relaxed now?

Hey, Ah Liang said that Tian Xing seems to be courting someone recently.

Tian Xing has thought of a bunch of ways to court girls--

One should go after the girl one likes by his own means. I won't share my tricks with him.

How did you know what I was about to say?

You petty guy... petty guy...

You're awake?

Your call will now be directed to the voice mailbox...

Is she too busy that she doesn't have the time to answer my call or...

Since I've been lying here these few days,

that doctor now has more chances to court Jing Xuan.

Stop assisting me.

General Manager.

Why are you here? Your injury...

I secretly left the hospital.

You really are being reckless.

I am an unruly person to begin with, right?

We weren't able to convince him against it, so we can only help him with it.

It's really too boring to lie down on a hospital bed all day.

I was thinking to just come here to the company and check on the progress of the vacation resort bidding.

Don't worry. I already asked someone to draw the design blueprint.

The main concept of this project

is that the people vacationing can feel like they are just at home, be relaxed, carefree, and cozy.

I increased the area for each room.

It has a multi-functional kitchen and also a private study room.

If you want to cook, you can cook by yourself.

If you want to be alone, you have your personal space.

Also, this area has the entertainment system for all 3 generations to play together.

For families with elders and children,

they can also come here on vacation with them, and won't find it boring.

So great.

Then save me one room.

Recently, I'm thinking to move to a house for three generations to live together.

It's time to have a child for my mom to take care.

Let's also open a martial arts gym.

This way, Second Brother's children can learn fighting skills.

What I want is a daughter so why learn some martial arts?

If she starts fighting from young, won't I end up being scolded by my wife?

That's right. Sister-in-law hates fighting the most.

If she gets angry, she will,

"If you still don't behave, I'm going to give you an injection."

We are currently discussing the bidding project. Everyone probably thinks it's very good, right?

In that case, it should be fine then.

But, Boss Rong's team is also eager to win the bidding of this project.

They definitely won't compete fairly with us.

We have to be wary that they might pull some dirty tricks to prevent us from attending the bid presentation in time.

That will effectively cause us to forfeit our bid. We can't afford to take a beating like that.

Actually, I've already come up with some countermeasures.

But I need cooperation from the Vice General Manager and everyone else.

Xiao Zhi, gather everyone to listen to Le Jun's task assignment.

Yes.

Two days from now, there is an important mission for all of you to do.

Gu Le Jun is the overall head of this mission. Everyone, listen to him.

The content of this mission is very simple.

Two days from now, we will leave the company early in the morning and head off in four different routes

toward the hotel where the bidding will take place.

Xiao Zhi and Ah Liang will be the one to lure the enemy.

Along the way, you surely will meet a lot of enemies surrounding and stopping you.

But don't be courteous. Just step on your gas and try to get them off your tail.

If you are unable to, lead them as far away from the hotel as possible.

Yes.

As for the route, I'll communicate it to you immediately at the time of departure

to direct you which route to take in order to distract the opponent's target.

Yes.

As for Vice General Manager--

Just leave the remaining barriers to me.

I will be the one to escort General Manager to the bidding venue.

The opponents will surely confirm first which car General Manager has gotten on before they send out their best people to intercept.

But remember, you must not face them head on.

Try to get into the bidding venue before it ends, that's more important.

As for which car General Manager will ride in, I will announce it at the last minute.

What I can guarantee is that under this arrangement,

Boss Rong will surely not be able to guess that General Manager will use a plan like this to go to the bidding venue.

Brother Tian Xing, is that wound bleeding?

Hurry. Let's go back to the hospital.

Why must you panic over such a small matter?

General Manager, I'm afraid Boss Rong will first play some tricks on us.

I'll send someone to protect you for now.

Xiao Zhi and Mi Qi, hurry and take Vice General Manager back to the hospital.

No. I...

Don't worry. The company has Le Jun and me managing it.

Go back and recuperate well so that you can handle the mission on that day.

Then I'll go back to recuperate and build up energy.

I'll leave the matters here for now to you then.

Recuperate well.

Why is their blueprint exactly the same as ours?

Unless...

There is an internal spy.

What's wrong?

Nothing.

I just remembered what Tian Xing said earlier about reserving one unit for his family.

Then, do you also want one unit to be reserved for you?

If I am able to live in a house that you personally designed,

I surely will be very blissful.

I grew up abroad. It was only Mi Qi who accompanied me.

I have always wanted to experience buying food in the market with one's family

and making dinner together.

Thus, I specially designed a bright and spacious kitchen for every household.

But... my culinary skills aren't that good.

Won't that waste such a good space?

I understand already. You wanted to test my culinary skills, am I right?

So smart.

I'm just applying the content of the training material you've previously provided to me.

Anyway, this bidding project

is already very clear now. We just need to think about how to showcase it.

What I can do now is to be like Guan Yu. [Guan Yu, a general of Shu and blood-brother of Liu Bei in Romance of the Three Kingdoms; a fearsome fighter.)

Before you go to war, you should eat and be full,

relax, and then

KO the enemy.

You were listening when the teacher was talking.

I'll reward you well then.

Where shall we go?

- Won't tell you. - Hey, wait, my bag.

Let's go.

So many things.

So cool.

This...what is this?

This is the pig's ear. Have a try.

Will this taste like pork?

No. Just try it. It just looks like a pig's ear.

Delicious. Have one too.

Hey.

Have you seen this?

Is this a worm?

No. This is called sea cucumber, full of collagen which is the top cosmetic for beautifying women.

You see, it's bouncy like jelly.

It looks so ugly.

- Do you want to touch it? - I don't want to.

- Try to touch it, okay? - I don't want to. It bites.

- No. - Liar.

It really won't bite. I guarantee. But you must do this,

hold it firmly like this,

so you can feel its sense of touch.

- Really? - Really.

Believe me. You must hold it tightly.

Gu Le Jun!

Alright.

Enough already. I was just joking. Sorry, just joking.

I don't want to.

Don't be angry anymore. I was just kidding.

If you want to apologize, you should show some sincerity first.

Then...what do you want?

Here.

Wow!

It really suits you well.

You're very cute, young man. [The woman commented in Taiwanese Hokkien dialect.]

Say "meow".

Say "meow".

Very good.

Can I remove it now?

You can't.

I can remove it now.

- Hey! I still haven't told you to remove it! - Hey, mister...

I already packed the sea cucumber you picked earlier for your wife.

And also, this. It's my specific and personal recommendation,

oysters caught in the wild. It's great.

Oyster?

Oyster.

Miss, let me tell you. As a wife,

you must understand the hardship that your husband has to undertake to earn money outside.

That's why, when he comes home, you should cook these for him.

I guarantee that your husband will surely give you happiness during the night, till you say,

- "No. No." - No. No.

Right. Right. You two being sweet to the point of

"No. No."

The 'no' we're saying isn't like that.

We don't really need it.

Oh, don't need it?

Wow! Mister, are you taking medicines and that's why you don't need nourishment?

It's also not that we don't need it.

It's just that there's no need for it.

No need for it? Could it be the two of you are not a married couple?

- No... - Can put it that way.

Can put it that way?

Can't put it that way?

Didn't you say that you are Xiao Jing's father forever?

I am Xiao Jing's father but he--

So why is it not really like that?

Mister, it's not good for you to be like that.

You already have a child yet you still don't consider her as your wife?

Oh, how about this, Miss?

Let me tell you. My son is also not married yet.

I'll gift you two fishing boats and an unending supply of seafood.

Do you want to think about it?

Look, see how tough and strong he is.

Handsome, right?

Boss, how about this?

This is for you. Just keep the change. We really don't need the other stuff.

We're going now.

Hey, Miss. Wait.

These. These . These are free. I gift these to you.

Bring these home and feed these to him tonight. You'll succeed. [Sea cucumbers and oysters are aphrodisiacs that spark love.]

Tomorrow morning, you'll be registering (your marriage).

Here. I'm giving these to you as a gift.

I'm just here to visit him. Just going to take a look.

It's no big deal, right?

Why is he not around?

What's wrong with this person?

Already so badly injured yet still running around.

Brother Tian Xing.

No need to trouble you like this. I am just going to have a check-up. My legs aren't disabled.

I can walk on my own and don't need anyone to accompany me.

No way.

What if your wound gapes open?

Aren't you going to hurry and assist your Second Brother?

- Assist him inside to rest. - No need.

Enough already.

Looking at the scenery? Where's my fish soup?

Fish soup.

Where is the bowl?

I heard that this fish soup is most effective for healing wounds.

Come, drink some.

No need already. I can do it on my own.

You are a patient, so just let me serve you, okay?

Just focus on recuperating, understand?

I think that you should feed that to Xiao Zhi instead.

He looks like he needs it more than me.

I'll just sleep for a while. Don't be noisy.

Ah...

Here.

Thank you.

There is already someone who's so eager to serve you.

Yet I was still so worried about you.

Jing Xuan... Jing Xuan!

Brother Tian Xing...

Second Brother...

Jing Xuan.

Don't pull me.

Is it painful? Why didn't you ask for painkiller?

It's not painful.

After seeing you, it's not painful anymore.

Is your wound okay?

Thank you for coming.

I am really happy that you've come here to visit me.

I'm here today to clarify things with you.

From now on, don't look for me anymore.

Why? Why are you suddenly rejecting me like this?

Could it be that senior of yours told you something?

It has nothing to do with other people.

It was you who didn't fulfill your promise to me.

You said that you would take good care of yourself, but what happened?

Your previous wound just healed and now, you almost lost your life.

If you're like this, I can't be friends with you.

I know that I was wrong.

I didn't fulfill my promise to you and caused you to be alarmed and scared.

But your words earlier doesn't sound like a friend that's rejecting me.

Actually, you have me in your heart and worry about me, that's why you came to visit me today, right?

You can say whatever you want. After all, I've said what I wanted to say. I'm leaving now.

Jing Xuan, I will change.

I will let you see my sincerity to change for you.

Would you like to see your own brother send your loved one to prison?

How are you going to change?

Don't tell me you're able to leave your fists and your brothers behind,

sever your ties with the underworld, and come to my world in a clean manner?

I...will...

Being able to talk that much with my junior here,

looks like you're recovering pretty speedily.

Why are you here?

Jing Xuan and I feel very responsible about the patients we have treated.

That's why I've specially brought Jing Xuan here to check on your condition.

You should be glad that I was the one who operated on you, and hence you're able to recover so quickly.

My suturing was beautiful, right?

On this aspect, I am very confident.

I think that it was because Jing Xuan was by your side,

that was why you were forced to do your best, right?

That's right too, I should thank you.

But these are two different things.

I will not yield Jing Xuan to you with both hands just because of this small favor.

Alright, you're a patient, so you should know your place and behave well.

These are fruits for you. Hurry up and go back.

Brother Tian Xing!

Why are you running around? And you didn't even wear a coat.

What if you catch a cold?

Are you... Hospital Head He's daughter?

Right. Who are you two?

We are the medical personnel who helped in the operation for your Brother Tian Xing.

Oh, it was you two who helped in the operation for

my Brother Tian Xing.

Then doesn't his condition now still look unstable?

But he is in our hospital so he surely will get the best care.

He has me here so you two can go back to your work. Just visit him next time.

So Yi Ching's Second-in-command is this popular among women.

Hospital Head He's daughter is even personally taking care of you.

Junior, I think we are not needed here anymore.

You should be at ease and go back to work now.

Jing Xuan...

Let's go already.

Woah! It's raining.

That's right.

It's raining quite heavily.

What should we do?

Well, my car is just across the street.

Do you want to run to it? Run through this rain?

- Okay. - Okay. We'll be running now.

Okay.

1, 2, 3, go!

Let's go.

Woah, no, this won't do. It's raining too heavily.

Sorry, I caused you to catch a cold.

No. It's fine.

How about this? My house is just on the alley across the street.

How about you come to my house, change your clothes, and dry your hair?

- Your house? - Yes.

Okay.

Okay. Come.

You put this on, so you won't get wet.

Thank you.

- Then how about you? - I'll be okay. - Really?

But we must charge across again. Okay.

1, 2, 3, go!

What's wrong?

I suddenly remember that I forgot to clean up some personal items. Allow me to go in and tidy it up.

What's there to clean up?

Are you trying to clean up that kind of books and magazines that men like to read?

What's inside your brain? Your imagination is pretty wild.

It's not like that! Give me two minutes.

It's done.

What were you doing so secretly in here?

- Remember to take off your shoes. - Okay.

I...

among the girls who've been here, what number am I?

You're the third one.

My mom, my little sister, and then you.

I am actually wearing Gu Le Jun's clothes.

My body is full of his scent.

It seems like I am being hugged by him tightly.

Oh, my, Wu Ping Fan, what are you thinking?!

What are you expecting to happen?

No. No. If this continues, it'll be too exciting, too dangerous.

When you get home, cook these for him.

I guarantee that tonight, your husband will surely give you

- happiness during the night, till you say, "No. No." - No. No.

Right. Right.

Wrong. Why didn't I think about it first, but daringly just come into his room?

Won't that mean I'm hinting about something to him?

You've finished showering?

Yeah. Don't be afraid, Mr. Rabbit.

I will be very, very gentle.

Stop! No!

Be with me.

You've finished all. Don't be afraid.

Don't be afraid.

What should I do? If it happens, what should I do?

Oh, my, I'm really looking forward to it...

Why am I looking forward to it?!

What should I do?

What... what is it?

You are already in there for quite a long time. Are you alright?

Do you want me to go in and help you dry your hair?

No. No. I'm still not ready.

Why does your voice sound so strange?

What sound is that? Wu Ping Fan!

What's wrong with you?

I carelessly slipped earlier and hit my head. So painful.

Why are you so careless? You frequently slip and then bump into this and that.

Come. I'll take you to ice the spot.

Stand up.

Do you feel better?

Yes.

It was the fault of all these oysters...

causing me to be thinking nonsense.

So you were thinking about these earlier in the bathroom?

What is your little brain thinking?

We have a lot of time for that.

I will wait for you to be ready.

Then...

What if I can't be ready for a long time? What would you do?

Let's just eat first then.

Wow! It looks really delicious.

- What do you want to eat? - This one.

Okay.

- Eat a lot. - Okay.

- Let's put in some cabbage. - Okay.

Today, you've also seen that you are not the only woman Zhao Tian Xing has.

Although they say that, 'if men aren't bad, women won't like them',

from what I can see, the bad traits of men are because of women spoiling them.

I believe that you aren't among these stupid women.

Senior, thank you for your concern. But this matter between Zhao Tian Xing and me,

I know how to handle it myself.

Could it be that your brother didn't ferociously lecture you about it?

My brother? It was you who informed him to come to the hospital.

How did you get my brother's telephone number?

I checked the employee files.

I believe your family will also not allow you to have any relationship with someone from the underworld.

My life has been moving forward toward the correct goal. I hope you'll do the same.

Whatever becomes of your life has nothing to do with me, and my love life also does not need your interference.

Stop the car. I am getting off.

Hey. Fine. I'll stop the car. Don't do such dangerous act again like the last time.

Jing Xuan. Jing Xuan!

Jing Xuan! Jing Xuan!

Let go! While I still have some respect for you as my senior,

don't interfere with my love life again!

Jing Xuan, can you wake up?! I can stop interfering with whomever you want to be with

but I just don't want you to become a woman like my mother!

What do you mean by that?

My mother...

When my mother was young, she played piano in a hotel.

Later on, she fell in love with a mafia boss.

But she only became a secret mistress

because that boss has too many women.

Then that boss escaped to Thailand in order to get away from his enemies.

Just like that, he couldn't be found.

But in my mother's heart,

it was still him.

Later on, that boss tried to make it up to me, his son,

and he continuously sent money to enable me to live a comfortable life.

Everyone thought that I achieved success because I was born with a golden spoon (in a wealthy family).

But that wasn't me. I don't have a mother, and even more so, no father.

My life... was destroyed just like that by the underworld.

You don't need to pity me because I am a person that can live my life well.

I only choose to walk on the right path.

It's fine with me if you don't like me.

But I really don't want...

don't want to see you walk down the same path as my mother.

- Eat some more. - No. I'm so full already.

If this continues, I'll become a pig that can't move anymore.

Your fighting ability is too weak. It seems that I need to give you a special class to train your appetite.

Stop. For classes like that, I definitely won't join.

I must stand up and move around. I feel uncomfortable when seated.

Okay.

I'll take a look at your house and see if there is any need to redesign anything.

Are these fake?

I'll buy you real plants and some lamps later.

This way will make this entire space feel warmer.

What do you think?

Just do what makes you happy.

This area is not bad.

I'm going to take a look.

That wall... on that wall, I think we can add

some things like our pictures.

My sister's pictures?

Why did you gather information about my sister?

Previously, I was very interested in joining the Yi Ching Group, so I did some homework.

I was afraid that I might get rejected during the interview.

Are you keeping me in the dark about something?

Look me in the eye. Gu Le Jun, this is your 23-second test.

Are you hiding something from me?

♫ I'm burning. Silently and taciturnly in my dreams ♫

Are you hiding something from me?

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by The Dark Secret Team @ Viki

Yes, I indeed have something hidden from you.

You...

You're married? You have a girlfriend? Or you have kids?

You're going through legal proceedings for a divorce? Or, it can't be that you like men?

None of the above.

Then what... ?

- This matter has nothing to do with our relationship. - Then...

Ping Fan,

I have already given you my heart.

If you don't mind, and are willing to continue holding on to my heart,

I will continue to stay here.

Then what really is your secret?

I can only make a pact with you that after we get the vacation resort project approved,

and the transformation of Yi Ching is completed, I will then tell you about it.

But before that happens... please trust me.

Why do I feel that...

the thing that you will tell me is quite scary?

Don't be afraid. Trust me.

I won't hurt you.

Boss, our mouse at Yi Ching said that on the day of the bidding, Gu Le Jun and the others will be divided into 3 groups to go to the venue.

We don't know which car Wu Ping An will ride in.

This technique of using a lot of people is pretty useless.

If you want to see who has more people, I've never ever lost that before.

Guo Hao, what do you think?

It's actually very easy to block Wu Ping An's car.

Wu Ping An will surely stay close to Gu Le Jun so we just need to follow this guy

and will be able to find Wu Ping An.

That's right. You have the same idea as me.

Zhao Tian Xing has sustained serious injury. It won't hurt even if he tries to bite.

As long as we delay Gu Le Jun and force them to be late and unable to enter the venue,

then they will totally lose their chance.

Yi Ching has spent a lot of money hoping to secure the bid for this land.

As long as we are able to win the bid, by that time...

it will be the time for Wu Ping An to come and beg us.

Boss Rong, cheers.

This is what you call sweet and flavorful.

Boss Rong is the formidable one here.

When the vehicle fleet reaches here, we will then all disperse.

You are still injured so that Xiao Zhi, Ah Liang, and Xiao Lai will cover for you

and let you get in the venue in the safest possible way.

If my guess is right, you should be the first one to arrive at the venue.

Okay. Then let's do as you planned.

Rest well then. I have some other things to do.

Wait.

I have something to ask you.

Will you ever regret entering Yi Ching?

Is Vice President still suspecting me?

I admit

that I never trusted you 100%.

But after observing you in these past days,

I believe that you are sincerely protecting Xiao Jing and General Manager.

That's why, what Vice President wants to ask is...

Since you entered Yi Ching, you encountered numerous ambushes with General Manager.

You also got hurt.

Don't you ever regret that

you went down a path of no return, and where you have to look over your shoulder everyday?

A person, no matter in whatever position,

will have pressures that are beyond his control.

Since the person I want to protect is here,

then I have no room to turn around anymore.

You're quite bold.

You are indeed the man that General Manager likes.

But my situation is exactly the opposite of yours.

Before, I felt satisfied in settling my debts and returning favors as I wished,

thinking that there are no matters that can't be resolved with my fist.

Instead, right now, I hoped that

I have never stepped into the underworld.

Vice President must have fallen in love with a girl that hates the underworld, right?

It is indeed true that there's no need to spend a lot of energy in communicating with a smart person. You understood right away.

That's right. I fell in love with a woman that tells me that black and white cannot coexist together.

But she said that if I can't give up my lifestyle from the past,

I will never be able to get near her world.

But I want to change for her.

I want to become the kind of good man that she wants.

It's probably not very useful with words only,

unless you are willing to give up everything,

or else, as long as your hands are still stained with blood,

those enemies will continue to bite you like those piranhas, until you are dead.

The current you have no right to love,

and also no possibility to provide happiness to anyone.

How about you?

If General Manager will go back again to the old role of a cold-blooded female killer,

will you still protect her even if you have to get your hands bloodied

and walk into hell together?

Brothers! Today is the most important day for our Yi Ching's bid on the vacation resort.

Everyone, pay attention in removing all obstacles in our path,

and escort General Manager in one go to get to the bidding venue.

Yes!

Let's go!

Caught you. Let's go!

There are three cars following you. Must think of a way to lose them.

Now, Vice President's car, turn left. Xiao Zhi and Ah Liang, continue forward.

Xiao Lai, turn right. Everyone goes in separate directions.

I understand.

Ah Liang, when you enter the circle, turn right on the first turn and then take the fast lane.

Turn on the first right at the circle. Taking the fast lane.

Xiao Zhi, circle around first

then take the last right exit.

Exit the circle in the rightmost lane.

They are really following us very tightly.

- Look. - Brother Le Jun, there is still one car following me closely.

- He is about 30 meters from me. - Okay. Turn right at the next intersection. - Got it.

You will see a self-service parking lot. Get in there.

Brother Le Jun, I'm already in the self-service parking lot.

Brother Rong's people are waiting outside.

Vice President's car is almost arriving at the venue soon.

You must lose them first. If you can't, block them. We must allow Vice President's car to enter the venue.

Yes.

- Vice President, how is your situation? - Everything is going fine.

Presently, no one is following me.

My estimate is that I'll arrive at the venue within more or less ten minutes.

Okay. Then let's go with our original plan.

Report to me if any new situation arises.

We'll be there soon.

How lucky am I to have blocked the car of Yi Ching Group's boss.

It seems that we need to invite your boss to our company

to drink some tea and have a chat.

Don't think that I will forget that you stabbed me before.

- You think that with you three-- - There are four.

Hurry! Hurry! Stop her! Hurry!

- Don't run! - General Manager, hurry and go! Go!

Go!

Please sign on the attendance list.

[3. Fu Gui Construction; 4. Yi Ching Construction]

[3. Fu Gui Construction: Rong Fu Xiong]

All cars that left from Yi Ching were blocked by our men.

Even Zhao Tian Xing is standing outside of the hotel right now.

Then what about Gu Le Jun's car?

We didn't find Gu Le Jun but Wu Ping An rode in Zhao Tian Xing's car.

Just a move for distraction. Do they think that they can lose us by doing that?

There are only three minutes left. This is the final countdown.

Right now, even if Wu Ping An is taking a helicopter ride to get here, it'll still be too late.

Then Boss Rong, I'll be leaving first

so that Wu Ping An won't discover my relationship with you.

Okay.

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by The Dark Secret Team @ viki

- No! - I've found you!

Give that to me!

That day, I looked for you in the emergency room for almost the whole day.

A 'Big Tiger' like you are really good in hiding, right? [Big Tiger, a slang, refers to a powerful and corrupt gangster.]

But even if you were able to escape from that attack,

you might not be able to escape death today.

You are really blind.

Instead of any other person, you just have to choose a tiger to fight with.

Even if the tiger eats you for snack, it would have been fitting.

However, I didn't come here today to fight with you.

I have a more important matter to attend to.

Our boss has already gone inside.

As long as the bidding is successful, Yi Ching Group will then become a famous construction firm.

Let's see how long you can keep up with this violent way.

You may not even be able to catch up to the tail of our car by then.

We are all out here to make a living, and also have parents to support.

But can Boss Rong support you guys forever?

I won't bother with the ambush on me.

You'd better think hard about the rest of your life and your family.

- You are not Wu Ping An. Who are you?! - Mi Qi, I'm here to save you!

Mi Qi, are you all right? Were you scared?

Don't be afraid. I'm here.

Not bad.

You were able to ditch the enemies so fast to come to my aid.

You were quite cool.

Quite cool.

Boss Rong,

you only have one assistant with you today? Where are the others?

Oh, they wouldn't be chasing after our men for a cruise on the streets, right?

You two...how could you two

get here so fast?

We've already reserved the top-floor VIP room in this hotel a week ago.

We checked-in yesterday, and have just enjoyed their five-star breakfast a while ago.

When we noticed that it's about time, we come directly here.

Wu Ping An, didn't you love direct, face-to-face fight before?

Right now, you even use this trick to mislead your opponents.

This isn't like your usual style.

Boss Rong, you really are very intelligent. Remember "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu?

If Boss Rong is interested, I'll have someone deliver a copy to you next time.

Boss Rong, our Yi Ching Group is going through transformation.

Of course, we have to recruit talents from all sources.

From now on, we have to depend on this to do things.

Boss Rong, you should keep up.

Yes. Yes. Don't celebrate too early.

We still don't know who will win.

Let's just sign the attendance list first.

Don't be nervous.

To be able to showcase the most beautiful house in my mind to everyone

is my greatest dream.

I am just thinking that if sister can be here right now

and able to see me win the bid, how great would that be?

The last presentation is from Yi Ching Construction. This way, please.

This way, please.

Hi.

Wu Ping An, allow me to give you a quick update.

The panel really likes our design proposal.

They even indicated that barring any unforeseen circumstances, we shall win the bid today.

I hope you won't mind me taking a seat to listen to your design presentation.

Distinguished panelist: I'm Wu Ping An, representing the Yi Ching Group in this bid for this resort.

Next, I will talk about the design concept behind our bid proposal.

This drawing...

What kind of crap is that?!

Why does your design look identical to ours?

You guys stole our design.

This is so low!

Second Brother.

It's time for our team's presentation.

I'm so nervous.

Second Brother.

General Manger will do the presentation herself. It's more nerve-racking than going on a blind date.

What's so nerve-racking about going on a blind date?

After all, you always end up getting rejected.

Please be rest assured that Angelin (Wu Ping An) will surely win the bid today.

Huh! That's not a certainty.

Your general manager is probably crying in the room right now

after being embarrassed on stage.

Distinguished panelists, please be patient.

This drawing was completed two days ago,

but it's not our final version.

I showed this drawing just to test the temperature of the water,

while investigating certain things.

Cut the crap.

Hurry up and bring out your Yi Ching Group's design

and show it to everyone.

"Little Prince's Secret Garden" is actually the ultimate theme of our bid proposal.

A resort complex should not only provide leisure and entertainment to its visitors.

More importantly, it should allow all the visitors to discover the feeling of warmth and comfort of home,

and they can play, learn, and grow together during their stays.

Surrounded by themed buildings, this Little Prince's Secret Garden

features abundant green forest and adventures.

We try to stay away from excessive artificial landscaping and recreational facilities.

During the construction, we strive to preserve every single tree.

We'll make our buildings blend in with the indigenous forest.

Next, from this drawing, we can see that

there is also a town center.

This resort village...

Next.

We hope that our guests can work with their kids

to plant tree seedlings as seeds of hope.

Daddy, will this rose seedling grow up?

It will. These rose seedlings

are just like Xiao Jing and Mommy.

Look. This fence is a bodyguard, just like Daddy.

Daddy will water and protect these flower seedling every day.

In Daddy's mind, the most important and also the most beautiful roses are Xiao Jing and Mommy.

- Is that true? - Of course, it's true.

With the concept of symbiotic coexistence with nature,

we aim to create a unique and leading green city.

That's the design concept of our bid proposal.

Wait a minute!

You still have not given a clear explanation about the plagiary of our design.

Your drawing only added a garden on top of our design.

The remaining 90% is identical to ours.

Distinguished panelists, let me ask you this.

Can you put up with someone who plagiarized other team's design

to participate in this bid?

Boss!

I don't want people to accuse me of flaunting my seniority

just to bully a little girl.

Nevertheless, these sorts of things are not uncommon.

Don't worry. I won't rip you off.

Pleased to work with you.

See you next time.

General Manager,

what does Boss Rong mean?

Did they pull some tricks during the bid again?

Why do you two look so serious?

Could it be that the bid winner is... ?

As the boss lady of the Yi Ching Group, I hereby announce that

we won the bid!

Oh, my!

What I'm holding here contains all versions of our drawing,

including 23 versions from the initial draft to the final version.

Even the design for the Little Prince's Secret Garden that I just completed today is included here.

I can submit them all to the panel for evaluations.

Since you said that we plagiarized your design,

please submit all versions of your draft drawings

for the panel to evaluate.

Okay.

From the beginning, we...

only have this drawing to present.

We don't have anything else.

If you want to evaluate it, please go ahead.

Although the designs from the Yi Ching Group and the Fu Gui Group

show amazing similarities,

Yi Ching Group's final revised drawing

indeed meets our urban planning objectives for the next decade.

So we hereby announce that

the bid winner is Yi Ching Construction Co. Ltd.

Boss Rong never thought that he would fail so miserably.

This time, you are so awesome.

This success is the result of everyone's hard work.

This evening, we will hold a celebration party. Nobody is allowed to be absent.

That means we can all have a drink together.

Since I still have wounds that are not healed yet, I can't drink alcohol.

You guys have fun tonight.

- Let's go. - Okay.

About the design drawing, what made you think about working on a revision?

About that...

Let me explain. On that day, we were working on task assignments in the meeting hall.

When I came back to my office, I noticed that the drawings at the bottom were moved around.

To be able to come into my office and steal our design multiple times,

without leaving any traces,

this person is definitely not a low-ranking employee.

I think so, too. Do you have a suspect in mind?

Mom, you're effectively forcing him into a marriage.

I'm waiting for his answer whether he'll marry you or not.

I have to tell you this secret in person.

I can give you an answer right now, Madam.

I'm actually a police officer.

My world lies in the dark. It is too different from yours.

I'll walk from my world into yours,

to safeguard you.

We fall in love in the darkness, and make promises in the light.
