Yes. We are starting out this investigation

at the Pendleton Police Department.

There is an officer here that wants to speak to us

because he wants to give us a tip

about a residence about 20, 30 miles outside of town.

There is a panic-stricken man

in a crisis situation

that is dealing with some evil forces

at this very old house.

So when there's a call for help,

we respond to those, just like the police do.

There are things in this world

that we will never fully understand.

We want answers.

We have worked years to build our credibility,

our reputation,

working alongside the most renowned professionals

in the field,

we've never started an investigation

So there is a house over near Heppner,

it's on Gurdane Road.

And back in, I believe, 1903,

is when they had a massive flood come through there.

I've heard about that.

One quiet and unassuming evening,

the town of Heppner was ravaged

by a rare and freakish phenomenon

known as a cloudburst.

The skies darkened

and then suddenly rained down,

creating a violent and raging 40-foot

torrent of water that tore the Earth below.

The punishing force decimated the town

and killed nearly 200 people.

There's no doubt the scars left by this event

have upset the balance

of paranormal energy in this region.

And could be a part of what's driving

the dark energy in the home we're being called to.

In that region as well, there's a guy

with a house there and he has experienced

all kinds of abnormal activity in his house,

some dark activities in there.

And something that law enforcement

can't go investigate and something that you guys

We were informed that the situation is very...

I'm concerned for the sound in Shaun's voice.

He sounds shaken, as if something

has been tormenting him for a long time

and we need to help him before he reaches

his breaking point.

As we continue traveling down this winding road,

we learned that many early settlers

traveled this path before us.

It is said several were met with hostile ambushes

from local tribes in the area

and fell victim to other conflicts

within this region.

As we arrive, we are immediately drawn

to a creek running alongside this house.

What we're doing now is just kinda letting our bodies

absorb the land around it, all the energy it has.

We were told this creek connected

to the cloudburst's water flow of destruction

that caused so much chaos and death in 1903.

Taking all this into consideration,

we set out to discover why this home

is being plagued with demonic activity.

So it's time to come face-to-face with the person

whose urgent cry for help

is the reason we're here.

Why is this house affecting you?

My family has been rooted here since the get-go.

My great grandfather who had this house built

seems to stick around

as a part of just pride

and then watch over things.

But then there's the other side

which is not welcoming whatsoever,

and seems to always kinda be lurking,

especially at night.

It just... It feels like

it gravitates and it

always seems like it's coming from that outside in.

There's so much history,

dark history right here where this house sits.

My kids started a story or two, I guess,

about what they might have heard in the house.

All old houses have a story.

So what type of story, ghost stories?

Patrick, Shaun's uncle,

lived in this house from 1995 to 2002.

He gives us more information on its history

including the generations of their family

who built and lived here,

as well as the possible origins

of the negative spirits that dwell on these grounds.

I do know the Indian war,

the Bannock Indian War of 1878

in an Indian uprising.

This battle saw dozens of casualties,

spread across this very region and afterward,

seemed to have left a curse

that struck Shaun's ancestors.

There was a man who has married

to Catherine Doherty Nelson and he was killed

by the Indians on up the road.

They killed three men there.

Grandpa always told us, like, the shootouts,

like, in the stone fence out front has these squares

and they used put the guns at to shoot through the fence

because there was a stagecoach

and there'd be raids coming through.

Oh, the original wall around the house?

Mmm-hmm.

My great grandfather was shot

at the middle ranch

and then they got into a gun battle

up there on the creek.

Throughout the history of this region,

incident after a violent incident

continued to wreak further spiritual chaos

on Shaun's ancestors.

Could these events be the origins

of the demonic activity that's plaguing this home,

and now targeting Shaun through his bloodline?

There's a lot that has happened here,

and that energy stays here.

So is there something about you and your body

that has received some of that energy

that has stained this soil and this house?

I never allowed Shaun to be out here by himself.

Because he picks up on stuff and he just...

and saw animals crawling over the sides of the crib.

And you still have that memory?

Yeah. Scared me so bad that--

That creatures coming out over?

Have you seen things, spirits here?

I have definitely seen several voices.

- What kind of voices? - It's--

They're in your own head or did you hear them

with your ears?

In my head.

Sometimes it almost sounds

like they're talking in the walls,

like they're in the walls.

And you used the word "demonic"

- when I called you. - Yes.

Why do you use that word?

When it gets into demonic, that's where coming in

and you think you're fine and it just, kind of,

eats away at your barrier,

your insides feel as though they're rotting as

every second that goes by.

Next thing you know, you're vulnerable.

Did you feel as though that you were becoming oppressed?

Very much.

Shaun reveals to us how this demonic force

nearly broke him as it pushed him

to a vulnerable and dangerous place.

What happened was what turned out to be

months and months of terror.

Constant thoughts of suicide,

obsessing over how to kill myself,

and actually going through the steps

of what would be the best way.

And I got scared and asked my parents,

"Listen, don't let me out of your sight.

I can't stop thinking about killing myself."

And was there no motivation for this?

2 We are all feeling extremely heavy

inside this house.

The fact that Shaun just told us

how severe his oppression was

has heightened this investigation

to its most crucial level.

And Shaun's mother tells us about a dream he had

which may offer a source to this evil

and potentially fatal presence.

He'd had a dream one time of the hillside over here

with, like a demon or something in the rocks.

- A demonic being? - Yeah. Yeah.

As I'm starting to realize

just how extremely dangerous

this situation is for Shaun,

his family, and now for us for trying to intervene,

Shaun is about to tell us what I have been fearing

since I started speaking to him.

I worked with someone

who ended up staying out here.

Apparently, had acted, like, he was fine

but next morning was found he had killed himself.

Here on the property?

Yes, right here in the backyard.

How long ago was this?

Around 2006, '07.

Shaun now tells me without hesitation

what occurred to his friend's spirit.

Very shortly after he had committed suicide,

it was as though he wasn't aware

that he was actually dead.

And beyond my understanding,

forced his way back through into this world.

In the process created some type of portal.

Down below the service station,

there's a room where that portal was,

that door stayed open.

And lost, confused, mad souls,

they were pouring through this portal.

I felt like I was in a tornado

and this no longer felt like my family's home.

I am shaken to my core

to know that Shaun's friend took his life here.

If we are dealing with an evil infestation,

then anyone's life is at risk.

And I'm truly concerned for everyone's safety

from this point forward.

If there is human spirits here of the family,

the Doherty family, we appreciate you

But I think that this home is being invaded

by something very dark,

and like Shaun says, possibly demonic.

the same way it communicates with him?

It's making select people hear it.

And I think that means when you hear it,

they're choosing you and marking you.

Whatever dark energy is affecting Shaun

of a very serious case that has a lot of history,

a lot of generations of the same family

that's now owning it now.

And a member of that family

that has been so severely affected by this place,

his own life was almost ended

because of what he was experiencing

inside of this house.

to this family about who exactly

is occupying their house on that other dimension.

move right to left

in front of this metal trough

as if it's hiding from us.

Then keep watching as this black mass

then quickly shoots back the other way.

This is not any type of explainable shadow

as you can see in the entire field of view.

There is no shadows being casted

on any of the posts or anywhere else.

and return to the first floor

capable of manipulating human emotion and thought.
