Original subtitles

Previously, 21 celebrities arrived

to play the ultimate murder mystery...

This isn't a place of romance, it's a place of murder.

..all in the hope of winning up to £100,000

for their chosen charity.

With five Faithful fallen...

It's over.

I'm a dead man.

..and two Traitors uncovered...

Traitor. Traitor!

..a new recruit joined the Turret...

I'm sorry for lying!

..leading to more castle conspiracies...

Oh! That's a recruitment.

They've recruited someone else, and all the heat is now on me.

Very suspicious.

The players used their heads in the mission...

Who has their head in the clouds?

Hands up if you thought it was Jerry.

..and at a heated Round Table...

There's obvious choices, there's obvious people with heat on them.

Why do you want to be a Traitor?

Do you want to take it outside?

Ross, you overcompensate a bit to make us believe you are a Faithful.

Joanne, if anyone else had done what you did in that first Round Table,

I'd be like, "We need to look at that person."

..the Faithful banished one of their own.

Joe. Joe. Joe.

I did not get my wish. I am a Faithful.

Oh, no!

But the treachery wasn't over.

"You must select a victim and then bore them to death."

"Set in the library is a peacock bottle

"filled with deadly sleeping powder."

"Lure your victim into the same room and get them to...yawn."

Will it be goodnight forever for one of the players?

I can't stop yawning.

This is The Celebrity Traitors.

# Sweet dreams are made of this

# Who am I to disagree... #

Last night, the Traitors murdered in plain sight,

but which of the Faithful won't make it to breakfast,

having been bored to death?

# Hold your head up

# Keep your head up

# Hold your head up

# Keep your head up. #

We're first. Are we first? Oh, we are first. We are in. Wow!

This is nice. Maybe, shall we get the croissants over our side,

because people are always... Yeah, let's get all the stuff we like now.

Bring all the food down here.

Last night, we've murdered in plain sight.

Scary.

Scary, scary work.

It's definitely going to confuse everybody at breakfast,

but this is what it's about.

A little laugh, a little murder.

It's Traitors.

SHE MIMICS AN EXPLOSION

I was surprised at how much heat suddenly went to Joe.

I mean, I had a lot of suspicions,

but I didn't think we were there yet, you know?

Yeah. The only thing I really had

was that he kept asking to be a Traitor,

but it didn't feel concrete.

It felt like it could actually go either way.

How did Joanne fare last night? She had...

Joanne had heat on her. She had heat.

I genuinely don't think she's a Traitor.

Sharon spoke a lot more yesterday, though.

She was more involved in the conversation, so I don't know

if she's now starting to come out of her shell more.

Well, that's the other thing we have to look for,

is people whose behaviour changed,

because someone yesterday who had been a Faithful

all the way through from the beginning suddenly was a Traitor.

We didn't have a chance to talk that perhaps

last night could have been a murder in plain sight night.

I had a feeling last night after Joe had gone

that maybe something had happened.

I don't know what it was.

We're over halfway through the game now,

so something happening in plain sight seems likely.

Anyone that dies today

is going to put a massive question mark on everything.

KNOCKING AT DOOR

Come in. Come in.

Hello! Ah! Ah! Hi!

Come in, come in, come in.

Good morning.

One in four of us is a Traitor now, which is wild,

and yet I'm not really feeling much heat.

I don't really know how we're doing this, to be honest.

All I know is after the murder in plain sight,

I'm starting to have a bit more fun.

I'd be quite happy if this was the group now.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't tell the others.

I'm happy to be here.

Maya said it was no surprise I put my foot in it,

because I speak so much. Yeah, you do speak a lot. Yeah.

But that's such a good point, actually.

You're just giving yourself more opportunity

to make yourself look suspicious. That's it. The more you say...yes.

You want to be kind of the Goldilocks of the castle.

You don't want to be too much, you don't want to be too little.

However, I have a bad case of too much information.

I just, I tend to kind of urinate, spray feelings,

opinions that no-one's asked for.

I think I need to pare it back a little bit.

Gameplay-wise, either way,

it's probably quite good gameplay not to speak at the Round Table.

Yeah. I agree.

And then do it more outside, like, no matter what you are.

The Traitors get to murder.

The thing we get to do is hash it out at the Round Table.

If everyone just backs off because they're worried about, you know...

Yeah, yeah.

KNOCKING

Come in!

Hey! Hello! Hey!

Stunning. Hey!

Hey, mate, how are you?

Morning.

My first day as a Traitor and I got thrown into the deep end,

murdering in plain sight, first day on the job.

I actually don't know who was murdered,

so that's actually perfect for me

because I'm naturally going to be reacting like I'm a Faithful,

which I am.

So, who else is left?

Sharon,

Ross, and Jerry.

There's no reason to get rid of Ross,

because he still has some heat.

So much heat on him.

If Jerry's not here, I c... I don't think I can handle that.

KNOCKING AT DOOR

Oh!

Hello! Come in.

# Just a touch of your love... #

I think, potentially, um...

I can't stop yawning.

Sorry, Ross, am I boring you?

No! No.

Ah, no!

It had to happen...

..at some point.

"Dear Ross, by order of the Traitors, you have been murdered.

"The Traitors murdered you in plain sight. The Traitors."

I mean, I was really sensitive to people coming close to me.

Could have been a cheers, could have been anything.

There's a great line from Shakespeare,

I think it's Polonius's advice to his son,

"To thine own self be true",

and I have been true to myself,

and I have been true to the Faithfuls.

Well played, Traitors, but you're always going to be Traitors,

and I know where you live.

Hello! Hey! Oh!

Wow!

Ross? That is so random.

Grant Mitchell, AKA Ross Kemp, I loved you as a child

and I love you as a real person.

You just fell into the worst trap ever and I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry.

Hopefully, we can still be friends.

I thought I was dead.

Who else are we missing?

Ross is dead.

What? Is this everyone? Ross has gone?

We're all checking each other out,

seeing if anyone is reacting or overreacting.

Some people will be trying to hide something.

I think today, we need to start looking

where we haven't looked before.

That makes no sense.

That was just another person we were going to potentially banish.

If anyone, it points to Leigh-Anne.

It puts suspicion on her... But why would I...

Because you were talking about Ross.

I'm saying if the Traitors wanted to kill someone

in order to wrongly put suspicion on someone...

It's because I genuinely felt like he was.

If you're a Traitor,

surely you want as many people who might take the banishment from you?

Yeah, yeah.

We hadn't decided exactly who we were going to get.

It's hard enough to make someone yawn, let alone to go,

"Right, this is the best person to go for, let's go in for them."

We had to sit there in those comfy chairs

and just wait for them to come to us.

Ooh! Oh... Here she is.

Players, good morning.

Good morning. Another breakfast, another bereavement.

Ross was murdered by the Traitors.

This man has travelled

to some of the most dangerous places in the world.

We know.

Who knew that a beautiful castle in Scotland would finish him off?

Oh, Ross!

I have some information for you.

The Traitors murdered Ross in plain sight.

Ooh!

You may have had a few victories, Faithful,

but please remember, the Traitors work in the dark.

They're so good, you could say they could do it blindfolded.

Oh...

And on that note, it's nearly time for your mission.

Uh-oh.

So, who was with Ross at any stage last night?

We were all in the library with him.

Me, James, Sharon, Jerry.

Yeah, that was it, and then Kenny was there for a little bit. Yeah.

I don't remember anyone touching him in the library, or...

I didn't touch him.

I didn't touch him.

Ross, at some point, was murdered in plain sight.

Someone must have done something special with him.

It was a good murder.

I didn't spot it.

Fact-schmact, we have no proof.

So he did go into the bar, then.

Yeah. And then he went and settled, presumably,

in the library after that?

Who poured the drinks at the bar? Who gave him his drink?

I never have drinks, so...

Bash, when did you see him?

I don't know.

Because he wasn't there for our incredible dance routine.

I suspect it was sort of right towards the end of the evening.

This is super weird now because we're so talking as a group

and we're so connected and whoever you are, you are awesome.

Yep.

As soon as the news about Ross's murder dropped

and the fact that there was a murder in plain sight,

eyes were everywhere, questions were out.

Maybe they're going to look at me,

because I was around Ross before his death.

So many theories are flying.

It's getting hot.

Sexy cowgirl outfit.

Oh, yeah.

Yeah, down here. Come here.

Come in here.

It just occurred to me, right, that part of the reason

why I started thinking about murdering in plain sight

is because last night, when we were in the billiard room,

out of nowhere, Leigh-Anne starts getting Miranda to do choreography

and dancing on the floor, and it was like, what is this?

And it was funny and everything, but then of course, this morning,

it's not Miranda who's dead, it's Ross. Mm.

So you go, "Well, that wasn't it, then."

What would be the perfect thing to do as a Traitor,

if you did just murder someone in plain sight,

is to go and do something so outlandish

so that everyone completely discounts you.

"Well, it can't have been that, so it's not Leigh-Anne."

I'm not saying that's what happened, but that just occurred to me now.

I've had my suspicions from the start.

It felt like we had very little to go on.

It now feels like we have a lot of stuff to think about

and a lot of information, so I think that's kind of revitalised us a bit.

I would say I'm probably one of the players

who does try to influence things a bit, or put theories out there.

I say I'm going to sit back

and then I hear myself just pushing things and giving it all this.

I have no idea at this point. Not a clue.

Not a clue, and I actually did really think it was Ross

and I just feel stupid.

I never even had a inkling it was him.

Really?

I was so wrong,

and I feel so bad.

He was so paranoid as well, and to be murdered in plain sight,

like, that was the one thing he was so scared of.

Yeah, I'm feeling a bit rubbish right now, cos I love Ross.

Ah, gosh!

Well, let's talk a tiny bit more about Ross last night.

But, I mean, he would have went to the bar if he got a drink.

If he got a drink.Absolutely right,

and no-one's mentioned him in the bar. Did anyone cheers Ross?

Cheers, no hugs, I didn't see anyone sniff him...

Was there anyone else in the bar?

I don't even know if I went.

As a Traitor, my strategy is just being like I've always been,

a very passionate Faithful.

Bash said he was in the bar, then he said he wasn't.

This is a perfect opportunity for me to pick up on that.

Do you ever do any gardening? I don't see you with a wheelbarrow.

I do do gardening, but never in the rain.

Is that a rule, a blanket rule?

Yeah, I do a bit of, you know, afternoon watching Monty Don.

Um...

Do you fancy Monty Don?

Love Monty Don.

I mean, I look after the veg patch, the chickens.

You have chickens?

Yeah, I got eight Rhode Island Reds.

Yeah, no, I do do quite a lot.

I suspect James Blunt.

Do you still suspect James Blunt?

Yes. Well...See, I don't.

His face is redder than a fox's ass at gooseberry time.

You're not a Traitor, are you?

Definitely not.

Oh...

You've got to suspect everyone at this point now,

which is really hard. Jerry being an icon,

and the image of Richard E Grant and Jerry Hall in a Turret,

maybe Claudia just thought that's too good to miss.

Hmm.

For today's mission,

the players are travelling somewhere very Traitorous,

and with their prize fund currently standing at £46,000,

this is a chance to try and add even more money to the pot.

Lovely to see you all.

The location of the mission today is so secret,

a Faithful has never been allowed there before.

Are we going to the Turret?

Are we going to where the Traitors pick their next victim?

I was very intrigued.

Ready?

Exciting. Follow me.

Oh, what? Oh...

Somewhere no Faithful had ever been before.

I hoped it was the local pub, to be honest, but it wasn't.

Oh, what is happening?

What is this? Uh-oh.

Wow!

Oh, scary.

Oh, God!

There was a very creepy vibe.

There were little plinths up and down each side of the room.

It smells very musty.

The smell was like a mix of salmon, cheap cologne and crotch.

Players, welcome to the Traitors' lair -

a place of lying, of scheming and of death.

But it is here today that you have the chance to save yourself

from tonight's murder.

To win protection,

all you have to do is build your own Shield on one of these podiums.

Every player who completes their Shield by the end of the mission

will win one, and will sleep easy tonight.

But you might be wondering about the gold.

Well, in this mission,

only the Traitors are responsible for winning that.

This is the Traitors' money Shield.

If the Traitors can complete it,

they will add £9,000 to the prize pot, but, tiny little catch,

they can only use pieces from the Shields you have started to build.

And they will steal those pieces from right under your noses.

There's no way.

Whenever the castle bell chimes,

I will ask you to put on your blindfold.

The Traitors will then sneak out and take two pieces of any Shield,

but who will the Traitors sabotage

in order to build money for the prize pot?

If they fail, no money will be banked.

Traitors, a word of advice.

Move very quietly.

Right now, I'm having a mind battle with,

I want to get as much money for the prize pot

and complete the Traitor Shield,

but then I also don't want to get banished tonight,

and I might if I do too much creeping.

Players, get yourselves ready.

This is wild.

I can't believe the Traitors are going to be moving around

in front of us.

I'm excited to see if I can see anyone sweat.

Is everyone all set?

Yeah.

I don't know about this mission, you know.

Me as a boxer, I'm light on my feet.

Very, like, stealthy, but I just don't, I don't know,

this mission just strikes me

as something that's just so compromising.

Let the Shield building commence now.

Ooh!

We have to build a complete Shield out of all the different pieces.

We'd have to find them in the troughs first

and we can only bring one piece at a time and try it out.

Sort of looks like the bottom.

I don't do jigsaws.

The best jigsaw that I can do is a 20-piece with my four-year-old.

The pieces all look the same.

It was really challenging.

Does it have to fit perfectly?

BELL CHIMES

Players, the castle bell has chimed.

Please put on your blindfolds.

Traitors, if you're brave enough, do your work.

I'm in between Bash and Sheen,

who are both eagle-eyed,

eagle-eared, are going to hear me.

I immediately decided I ain't doing it.

Kenny is in between Jerry and Maya, who is a Traitor.

I ain't creeping around so everyone can hear me.

I'm too scared.

I knew James didn't want to be a Traitor, but wow!

He didn't even lift his blindfold off.

I am... I'm speechless.

Absolutely speechless.

It's a very high-risk mission.

I'm getting anxious.

My heart is beating so fast.

My gut instinct told me

that it'd be a good idea to compromise

my own Shield.

The stakes were pretty high - for us Faithful,

because a Shield was at stake,

but for the Traitors,

because they would have to be moving around in the room with us!

Those Traitors must have been cacking themselves.

BELL CHIMES

Players, please remove your blindfolds.

Anyone missing any pieces?

I had one piece in there and as I took the blindfold off,

I was expecting to see that piece there, and it was gone.

Anybody that the Traitors have kind of deliberately sabotaged

is probably somebody they're thinking about killing that night,

so not a great feeling.

OK, please get ready to start building your Shields again.

Go!

I love puzzles.

I always have one on the go.

The kids come over

and they sort of try to put a few pieces in, you know.

It's quite a fun hobby,

so I was very disappointed that this puzzle,

I was finding very difficult.

I don't get it!

Has anyone got past one piece?

I'm like a cat in a litter tray.

Line your pieces up, then, if they're the same, maybe.

A tidy trough is a happy trough.

Yeah, put all the same pieces together.

If we can order the pieces, once we work out our direction,

then we can just hand them out and everyone can crack on.

Is this a Shield?

# I hate puzzles, puzzles I hate. #

BELL CHIMES

Oh, my gosh! I have made no progress.

Please, players, put on your blindfolds.

Traitors, get to work.

Second round came

and James Acaster still did not take his blindfold off.

I just thought, "Mate, what on earth is going on here?"

I didn't know what to do.

I just felt like the clock was going to chime at any second.

I was trying to do my maths of if I build mine too quickly

and don't get any taken, is that suspicious?

If I build the Traitor Shield well, is that suspicious?

There was too many thoughts at once.

Oh, my God! I don't understand

why Maya took some pieces from her Shield and put it in the trough.

I mean, I just, I just don't understand.

You've really messed this one up, Maya.

You've really messed this one up.

I feel the floorboards wobbling.

They're that close to me.

I'm feeling a little bit excited

that a person to my left or my right

is causing a wooden floorboard to bounce.

BELL CHIMES

Please remove your blindfolds.

Has anyone been sabotaged?

I'm missing two. You're missing two?

Yeah. Will you recognise those pieces again?

Maybe, I don't even know.

I don't think so.

They took two and they didn't put them on.

Disaster. Absolute disaster.

My pieces got taken by me, and now I've got to act angry.

What, so they took two pieces and just put them back in the trough,

rather than put them on there?

Did they nap? Did they forget that they were Traitors?

Are the Traitors not speaking?

I don't know what's happened, but that was bananas.

Players, your time starts now.

What the hell does it look like?

There were two pieces that were, like,

bending into each other, like...

I don't think it's here. We need to keep digging.

Oh, is there more pieces? Yeah. Yeah, obviously. Of course, yeah.

Maya's got it right.

I see the piece that she's got and I go diving into the trough,

looking for that piece.

This is it. I've got it, I've got it. Let's see.

What does it look like, Michael?

So it's just small and it's the bottom...

It's the bottom starting piece.

That's the top. Ah!

Ooh! Ooh!

Oh, my God! Ah! Oh, my God!

Is this it? Am I right?

OK, I think I've got another piece here, if you want to look at mine.

It's this bit here, guys. Guys.

I don't have the skill set for this.

BELL CHIMES

Players, please put on your blindfolds.

Traitors, get to work.

SHE MOUTHS

I just decided to walk up and down the whole room,

put some heavy foot noises on certain areas.

Get the Faithfuls to think or feel something away from me,

Maya, maybe not James.

Neither of us had a clue how to build the Shield at this point.

I just thought, you know what?

Let's just try and cause some confusion somewhere.

This mission is so hard.

I felt like people could hear the floorboards.

I can smell Miranda, she's that close to me.

BELL CHIMES

Anybody missing anything?

I'm missing a piece.

There's a piece on.

Yeah, they've got two of the same piece, I'm pretty sure.

This is your last chance.

Good luck.

Go!

One puzzle piece at a time, please.

James Blunt has a completed Shield.

I was lucky enough to be the first to complete the Shield

and I guess at that moment, all I'm trying to do is spread the word

and tell others what pieces they might need.

Help me, help me, help me.

The very top in the middle is this one.

Looking for a top, right or left.

There. Oh, I think I've done it.

Joanne, you have a completed Shield.

Woo!

Urgh!

James Acaster, you have a completed Shield.

James, I need help.

I need help massively.

That doesn't make sense. Oh, my gosh...

Time is running out.

Where the hell does that bit go?

Come on, Jerry.

Yes, that's right, but you need to find that bit.

Miranda, you need to find that... I don't... I don't understand it!

It's this piece.

BELL CHIMES

Absolute disaster of a mission.

I used to be a maths teacher.

One of the things that we taught was kind of fitting shapes together

and, er, I didn't do it.

Four other people completed the Shields and I didn't.

My kids, they're going to hammer me for that.

Blindfolds on, please.

This is the Traitors' last chance to sabotage.

There was no moment more stressful

than completing the Shield that would protect you from murder,

and then putting on a blindfold

and waiting to see if the Traitors came and destroyed it.

Traitors, please get to work.

MAYA MOUTHS

FLOORBOARD CREAKS

Me and Kenny panicked.

We were like headless chickens.

I stopped Kenny from going to Michael.

It just felt too risky.

BELL CHIMES

Players, please remove your blindfolds.

Who's lost a piece?

Is everybody's Shields intact? I haven't lost a piece.

You haven't lost a piece. Neither have I.

We were the only four Shields, weren't we?

I think they got scared. I have to say, look at them.

That's got three pieces and they've been absolutely rubbish.

I think they got scared.

So they've kept everybody's Shields? Yeah.

I was certain that as punishment for not joining in,

Kenny was going to come over, but he didn't.

I know I'm going to get a dressing down in the Turret,

I'm aware of that.

I think they got spooked.

Yeah.That makes no sense.

Players, the Traitors were responsible

for trying to bank gold in the mission today,

but it appears the pressure got to them

because they failed to build their Shield,

so I'm afraid no money has been added to the prize fund today.

However, great news.

James Acaster, James Blunt, Joanne and Michael,

please come and take your Shields.

Congratulations.

Thank you.

Well done.

That was beautiful.

Oh, I should have said that to you, sir.

Thank you so much. Apologies.

Thank you.

So, the four of you might be protected,

but the rest of you are defenceless tonight.

There is a place where you can fight back -

the Round Table.

Have a little think about that and head back to the castle.

In our heart of hearts,

we wanted to complete the Shield, but I just don't think

that me and Kenny would have been able to do that

without getting caught.

Not just two of us, anyway.

That was a demonstration of how not to play that game.

Every time.

Every time I put my blindfold on, bouncing floorb...

I am moving, I'm wobbling.

And I clearly felt it to my left.

It felt like somebody was moving off.

Yeah, I don't understand why they didn't just get the money.

I don't get it. Just get the money.

On the last round, did they go out for a cup of tea or something?

Nothing happened. Why didn't they get the money?

They must have not known how to do the puzzle.

They messed it up. I think they got...

They got to a point where, early on, when they were like...

"We can't do the puzzle." "We can't do it."

Literally, it could have come up...

They could have come up here and I wouldn't have noticed,

but they don't... That's not what everyone's saying.

What's everyone saying?

Some people are saying they could hear stuff.

Really?

The only thing I could hear was, I could hear Rom sniffing.

Sorry about that.

No, it's good, though, because I can guarantee

that you were stood next to me the whole time.

I've exonerated myself from potentially being a Traitor

in one of the most humiliating ways that you can think,

and that is that Sharon has told everybody that she knows

I'm definitely not a Traitor

because during the bit where the Traitors were running around,

she could hear me sniffing the entire time.

So I've basically been saved by hay fever.

You know those stools, they make sad noises.

STOOL HONKS

I didn't complete my puzzle.

Oh, it's silent.

I didn't complete my puzzle.

STOOL SQUEAKS

It's funny, innit?

I didn't complete my puzzle.

Oh!

I think they probably took your pieces... Yeah.

..were going to go and put them on the thing.

It was taking them so long that when the time ran out,

they just had to throw 'em back in the trough.

And just left it.

I think they physically just were too scared to move,

which I think tells us something.

It's so difficult to understand

why the Traitors worked the way they did.

It is strange that they did nothing.

Wonder if that's a clue?

I wonder if that's revealing of who they might be?

You were hogging three pieces over while I was trying to get one.

You were trying to stop me from getting one.

And maybe we should think about Jerry.

I mean, she's chaos.

She's extraordinary, extraordinary chaos. Entertaining chaos.

I wouldn't have wanted to creep round the room

while everyone had their blindfolds on.

It must have been so freaky for them. Yeah.

Or they were next to somebody that they didn't want to alert.

Miranda would like to speak about that, I think, probably,

at some stage.Yeah. Yeah.

She could sense movement.Right.

Agh, I'm stressed, I'm stressed.

If me and Miranda

are on the same floorboard, then, yeah,

it would have lifted. I don't know.

I mean, you can't argue with a floorboard move.

Can I follow you two, or do you need...?

Yeah, of course. Come in, come in.

Yeah, I just wanted to say I might ask you some questions tonight.

Me? Yeah.

Since the Shield thing?

Since the being in the room, yeah.

Oh, wow. But I've probably got it so wrong.

Do you think I moved?

The whole bloody floor moved, every time.

You could feel the floor move?

Every time. This is terrible,

but I'm going to say it because we're being honest.

No, I've said... The fact that you said that to me now,

and I know so much myself how not true that is, that makes me think...

That makes me suspicious of you now.

Oh, dear. Oh, no!

Yeah. I feel like you're setting me up now.

No, no, that's why I wanted to ask you before the Round Table.

When Miranda said that, I was like, "No, no, no."

I did not move!

It's a palace of paranoia because now I'm looking at you.

I'm like, "What are you? What are you up to?"

So I don't know if she's going to bring it up at the table,

because that's just madness.

I'll go look in my hidey-holes.

My good friend Ross Kemp

was murdered in plain sight last night.

Ah! The perfume bottles.

Where's that perfume bottle?

I'm a massive fan of the game.

I like to think I'm quite on the ball.

The perfume bottle.

James Acaster.

Where's James Acaster?

When I saw the picture of the perfume bottles, I thought,

"Ah! Maybe Ross was killed in plain sight by perfume."

So I'm going to put my Glasgow girl big pants on,

I'm going to pull them right up

and I'm going to stick my head up and just tell everyone.

Do you remember on the very, very first day...Mm?

..you came in, and you were like,

"Guys, there's perfume bottles everywhere," on the shelf?

Yes!

Look.

OK.

Yes.

What do you think?

Yeah, well, that's what I thought on day one. What did I say, day one?

Perfume.Yeah. OK. Do you reckon it could have been perfume?

Yeah.

Do you have any idea how happy that has made me?

That's down to me.

Like, the fact that my perfume theory was correct

lets me know I would have been such a good Faithful.

But then, as a Traitor, yeah, I might be in trouble.

OK, now I'm scared.

Ross was in the bar on his own and this one's empty now,

and it wasn't on day one.

Exhibit A.

Do you want to see the sign?Yes.

But, you see, this doesn't match this bottle, though.

But because he got murdered,

surely it would be like a murder perfume.

Sleeping, sleeping.Ah...

Right now, our biggest threat as a Traitor would probably be Sharon.

Bringing up the perfume theory,

because I was the one who sprayed the perfume.

On the outside, I'm like this.

On the inside, aargh!

Earlier in the Traitors' lair, the players had to solve a puzzle,

and now they face the biggest one of all.

Who amongst them are the Traitors?

# Cos I'm fearless, fearless, fearless... #

We are walking into this Round Table

with no idea which way the wind is blowing,

and in this castle, the wind can change very, very quickly.

# Cos I'm fearless, fearless... #

It's hard to get a word in at the Round Table.

There's a lot of big personalities,

but I found this perfume bottle,

so, Ross, I will solve your murder, my friend.

Poundland Poirot is on the case.

# You ain't never going to shake me down... #

Today was a day of recalibrating,

watching, observing.

Everyone seems very confused

and unsure.

Anything can happen.

Players, welcome back to the Round Table.

The Traitors, they've had a very busy 24 hours.

They had to murder in plain sight, and then today at the mission,

they won nothing.

That means your current prize total is £46,000.

Earlier today, you were wearing blindfolds, but now they are off.

So I ask you this - can you see the Traitors sitting amongst you?

Because they can definitely see you.

Players, the floor is yours.

Please can I go first?

I just want to apologise

because I've done what could only be described

as a bit of a me and got a bit giddy, left the mission

and thought I've solved the entire thing

by the bouncing floor theory.

On discussion since,

I'd like to declare the bouncing floor theory debunked.

So apologies if that sounded accusatory in any way.

Why is it debunked?

It could have been on the other side of the room,

and a floorboard could have been...

It doesn't necessarily mean it's the people next to me.

Well, obviously, you've said it now.

So Miranda said that she thought that I was moving around the floor.

And I was like, "That's just not true."

It's so not true that then I was suspicious of Miranda

because I was like, that just feels like such a set-up

because I had a heavy table last night and then you're...

I'd said, "That just makes me not trust you," is the truth. Yeah.

I get that you'd, you would think that, yeah. Yeah.

So I was just... Of all the people that you would say

that I was the one moving around the floor,

seems a bit mad when I literally didn't move.

Hence me saying I'd debunked the theory.

You've just brought in a debunked theory

and brought it to the floor again.

I'm saying debunked.

Shall we start with last night

and see what our thoughts are generally?

Because two of you have found the perfume.

Yeah. Who found perfume?

Sharon.

Yeah, well, it might be something and nothing.

On the first day, James had noticed

that there's loads of perfume bottles around the castle.

I noticed that one of the perfume bottles behind the bar was there

and people had kept saying Ross was in the bar on his own,

but then I went and got James, my trusted perfumer.

I'm just putting that out there,

but I just thought maybe that's how Ross could have been killed

in plain sight.Mm.

Just in case anyone saw anything.

But I'm overexcited about it because, obviously, day one,

I saw it and now all I want is for this to be the case.

I mean, really bringing it up just in case anyone saw anyone.

Yeah, if anybody saw anything weird with a bottle.

Just picking up a perfume bottle,

putting it back on the shelf when you came back in,

just anything that was remotely like that.

Can I just ask you just to confirm,

the picture that gives you the clues about which perfume bottle

is in the library? Yes. In the library.

And the peacock sprayer... Is also in the library.

Is in the library. And at some stage,

he was definitely in the library. Yeah, yeah, he was in the library.

And normally with these things, they're relatively opportunistic.

Who was in the library with him, then?

Me, James... I was there briefly.

Sharon. Jerry.

Was I in there with him?

Yeah, you were there, Jerry.

It was you and Ross on two seats

and then me and James on two other

and Kenny and Sharon were kind of behind, floating. OK.

He was in the kitchen for a bit, wasn't he?

Yeah, he was in the kitchen for a bit,

and then he went into the library, then he went into the atrium.

I never saw him go into the bar, but obviously, like, I asked you.

You literally told me he went to the bar and you said,

"Oh, I don't remember if I went to the bar or not."

And obviously, for me, I'm like, that's a bit weird,

because you told me you went to the bar.

It's just one red flag that I've seen on you,

and I think it's very important to bring that up at the table,

considering Ross went to the bar.

I think... I'm pretty sure I went into the bar at the begin...

Like, the first thing I did after the Round Table. OK.

But then I just went and sat in the billiard room

and I was, yeah, just bumming out after Joe.

But I understand there was confusion.

Can I just say, though, with Ross,

if he was worried about me brushing past him and touching his arm,

he's definitely going to say something

about someone spraying a perfume bottle in his face.

Yeah, yeah.Yeah. He's not going to not say anything about that, surely.

Well, he was probably the most paranoid amongst us

and he didn't say anything to anyone. Exactly, exactly.

That makes me think maybe it wasn't as obvious as we think.

Part of the reason that we thought,

we started to think that maybe a murder in plain sight had happened,

I went to say, "Well, I haven't seen anything strange in here tonight,"

and then it made me laugh because then I remembered

that I'd actually just watched Leigh-Anne and Miranda

doing an extraordinary piece of choreography on the floor

in the billiard room.

But then of course, I got a bit freaked out and thought,

"Oh, well, maybe, maybe that is what's happened,"

and then I thought, "Well, that would mean

"that Miranda might not make it through to the morning."

But of course, Miranda turns up in the morning.

But it was still odd, because it did seem strange.

I wanted to lift you up in that moment,

and I wanted to have a bit of fun as well, actually.

It did occur to me that it would be a brilliant move

if you were a Traitor, and you were trying to do something.

Either that was you getting desperate and it didn't work,

or that if you, either before or after,

did do something much subtler, then a great cover story would be

to do something really big so that we could all go,

"Well, it wasn't Leigh-Anne

"because clearly, Miranda didn't die,"

and then we'd just put you to one side when we think about this.

That would be a very clever thing to do.

Presumably, if we're assuming that there's three Traitors,

which seems most people's assumption,

if one of them's doing something suspect,

it's not a bad idea to be doing something distracting

in another room. Distracting.

It's usually only one of them that needs to do the thing,

so it's sort of helpful to keep other people in other rooms.

Yeah, I just wanted to have a bit of fun, to be honest.

That was really all it was.

There really was nothing else to it.

I do have something to say that I think we should talk about,

which is when the four went out in the middle of the night,

was Ross there sent as our sacrificial alarm bell,

saying, "Is he the Traitor"?

He was absolutely not the Traitor in that scenario.

Was there someone else there

who potentially was a Traitor, controlling it?

We know it's not Rob.

You were there, so...

Romesh or Leigh-Anne.

So it's one of us two?

Only in that scenario. If we think there was a Traitor.

Only if we think there's a scenario

that someone was controlling it in there.

So if we assume that one of us is a Traitor,

which I thought, to be honest with you, that it does make sense

to have a Traitor to control where the key goes... Yep.

And look, I thought at the time,

I thought the most likely one was Ross, but why was I picked?

Why were me and Rob picked?

I've been thinking about it a lot and I was thinking, like,

why those four? And I had to just put my head in a Traitor's head,

and the reason I think they put Rom and Rob in

is because if one of them came back, the Traitors probably thought,

if we send one back, they're all going to look at the other one

and go, "It's going to be the other one. The other one's a Traitor."

And we didn't do that.Mm.

I have to say, standing next to you today,

your sinuses pulled through, because I could hear your poor wee sniff

the whole way through that mission.

It's a horrible way to have your innocence proven.

You know, I would have liked other ways.

But I can say, I just hate that it leaves you.Yeah.

Because in my head, I think there's no way

the Traitors would risk sending four Faithfuls

and not having eyes and ears on it.

Well, I am definitely a Faithful.

Feel like...

I genuinely feel like I would crack, being a Traitor.

I don't actually think I've got it in me, to be honest.

Um, yeah.

And I completely get what you're saying,

but I urge you to look at any behavioural changes and differences.

Like, I've literally been myself this whole time

and I found it easy to do that

because I was told that I was a Faithful.

Can I just ask, is everybody clear on what they're about to do?

No. No.I haven't got a clue.

I, I mean, I was sort of hoping that I was going to gain

some sort of clarity.

You know, does anyone want to take a punt and say something,

or is it too scary?

Moving forward, maybe we do need to think

about having the strongest Faithful team we can possibly have,

so if that's...

If that has any bearing on people's thinking, maybe, as well.

If we're not sure about who to vote for.

I don't know. Possibly.

Jerry, what are your theories?

I'm suspicious of a lot of people.

Yeah.

I mean, obviously, there's three Traitors here.

Who are the three? There can't be just one.

I don't know! You can't just name one if there's three.

You fall into my kind of chaos thing... Yeah.

..where I can't properly work you out,

because, like, I'm looking for stuff that people are doing.

Yeah.

Look, I just think with Jerry, there's a lot of pot stirring,

if you know what I mean. I'm like, who are you actually?

I'm quite consistent.

Joanne, you did make a big slip-up the other day.

I did, Jerry.

But I do keep thinking about it.

OK.

Jerry, what was the thing you said as you came in

when you came in with Hannah in the morning?

"What about Richard being a Traitor," or something.

When you came in. Rather than, "We're both alive."

I don't know. I can't remember.

I think Claudia picking Richard E Grant and Jerry Hall in the t...

It's just iconic.

It'd be very hard to refuse that.

Players, the time for talk is over.

Please write down the name of the person you believe is a Traitor.

Joanne, we're going to start with you.

Who do you believe is a Traitor and why?

This Round Table, I've put down Jerry.

I'm sorry, Jerry.

Do you know what? You are a fantastic player.

You're a professional pot stirrer,

but you don't necessarily explain the pot,

you just kind of stir the pot and then leave,

and I'm like, "I don't know what that means."

So, yeah, for that reason, I'm going to put you,

but I think you're amazing, as you know I do.

It's OK.

Sharon.I voted for Leigh-Anne.

I'm sorry, I just have to stand by what I said.

OK.

Jerry.

Sorry, Joanne, I voted for you.

It was about the slip-up and you didn't vote for Richard

and you didn't vote for Hannah.

But I've had such fun with you.

Same.

Leigh-Anne.

I've also put Jerry, I'm so sorry.

You know, I just think your name has been floating around quite a lot

and at this point, just kind of want to know.

Thank you.

So, a vote count.

Two for Jerry, one for Joanne, one for Leigh-Anne.

James Acaster, who do you believe is a Traitor and why?

I also went for Jerry.

I'm just seeing if it's you.

We're good.

Sebastian.

I don't feel good about this one, but Jerry, I had to go for you.

I'm so sorry.

Romesh.

I love you very much, but Jerry, I voted for you.

Mm.

This is in lieu of having better reasons for anybody else.

I also have long suspected that you prefer Rob to me.

And so that's also one of the reasons,

but this is an incredibly difficult vote for me

and I hope you understand.

Michael.

With a heavy heart, I have voted for you as well, Jerry.

James Blunt.

Jerry, I'm so sorry, I've put your name down.

Kenny.

Bash, I voted for you.

Bit of a wild card, but no hard feelings, genuinely.

Maya.Jezza, Jerry, I did vote for you.

Yeah, we didn't have much to go by tonight.

And for the final vote, Miranda.

I'm sorry, Jerry.

Being an icon has been a downfall, but you're just incredible.

Jerry, you have received the most votes.

Please come up here and join me.

I don't think so.

I feel like it's a 50-50.

Jerry, you have received the most votes

and you are banished from the castle.

Before you leave us, please reveal, are you a Faithful,

or are you a Traitor?

Guys, I've loved being with you all.

I've had the most fun.

I haven't laughed so much in years.

Truly, it's been a great pleasure.

I'm sorry, I made some mistakes, but...

..I have always been...

..a Faithful.

Oh, no!

I told you!

I'm sorry, Jerry.

We love you, Jerry. I love you all.

Players, you just banished a legend.

Sorry.

Another Faithful gone.

Time is running out, so, Faithful, I need you to regroup and focus,

because tonight the Traitors will draw blood,

and for one of you, you will draw your final breath.

Goodnight.

Oh, Rom, are you all right?

Yeah. Are you going to miss her?

I am going to miss her, yeah.

Just feel so crap about it.

James, mate, another one.

This game is too hard.

I wasn't 100% sure she was a Traitor, to be honest.

I can breathe again.

I had seven different lines

that I was going to reply to Miranda with,

because I thought she was coming on the attack.

Turns out she was going for Joanne!

Cannot believe I'm here to tell the story.

I thought it was home time.

Why did everyone vote for Jerry?

I think because no-one had a clear, convincing argument

in another direction. Yeah.

I wasn't sure, but I did know that it was just,

you're not really serving either team. Yeah, exactly.

And it's what we love about her,

but we're trying to play the game at the same time and it's like, yeah.

Jerry's amazing, but she's planted more seeds than a farmers' market.

I had suspicions about Jerry

and we had to start looking at the more chaotic players, which is sad.

I'll miss Jerry.

Have you seen this? Have you seen the poison thing?

This is what Sharon has pointed out to us.

That's the peacock, that's sleep.

So when you came in and said you'd got it,

Sharon was going, "I've got it," in such a, like...

Hang on, what are you trying to pretend here?

It felt to me like she's saying, "Guys, look what I found!"

All I can say is that Sharon seems to have changed.

I think she's being performative about,

"Oh, look, I've found the perfume bottle."

I don't understand why the performance, unless she's a Traitor.

Oh, you're literally in here on your own.

I just feel sad. Are you sad about Jerry?

I feel so sad. I know, I know, I know.

It's like, what the hell are we doing, man? It's... I know.

I feel really frustrated about the four.

The crypt four? The crypt four.

I just feel like I've been thrown under the bus.

It does make sense, and there's no getting around...

I'm not throwing this at you,

it makes sense that one of us is a Trai...

It does make sense that one of us is a Traitor.

Well, no, it does make sense. The gloves don't help.

I said it was villainous and Traitorous.

They're like proper Cruella De Vil vibes.

It's a wild decision. Do you think it was the gloves? Oh, my God!

I can smell gasoline from the lantern on them.

I can smell Rob's blood.

It was quite interesting how,

when I talked to Joanne before the Round Table

and then at the Round Table,

she suddenly turned on me and went,

"Hang on, this is making me very suspicious of you."

And I was like, you just want reassurance if you're Faithful,

and it's simple. You wouldn't have suddenly turned to me

and gone, "Hang on, that makes me..." I found that odd.

Come on, do you want... Do you want to come...? I'll let yous...

I'll come back in a second. We're just talking about...

I'll let you finish your chat. No, no, we're literally...

No, we're not talking about... We're talking about this.

But you don't have to come in.

You're not interrupting anything if you want to come in.

I'm trying to decide...

Whether to stay or not. Yeah.

Yeah. No, we... I might fill my drink up and come back.

Yeah, come back. OK. We're not...

Yeah, I know, it's not, like, proper secret chat. Yeah, I get it.

Not at all. As in, I'm allowed to be involved.

If you wish, and no offence if you do not return.

Yeah, exactly. Thank you.

It's OK. You should be a politician, Miranda.

Goodnight, everyone. Thanks for hanging out.

See you in the morning.

Going to die tonight.

# Maybe I was born a sinner

# I might never be a saint... #

See you!

# They could bury us alive with the things we hide... #

Hey, look, I'm going to head off

because I've got another party to go to.

A Faithful banished.

That was a huge loss.

Good news for the Traitors, though.

They only have to contend with one dilemma...

..who to murder?

# Ah-ah-ah, ah, ah-ah-ah, ah

# We all got a little bit of devil inside... #

I'm a bit nervous to go up in the Turret,

because I think I will get a dressing down

for completely bailing out of the mission.

But I am just going to remind them

that I'm the one who killed Grant Mitchell.

# Ah-ah-ah, ah, ah-ah-ah, ah

# We all got a little bit of devil inside. #

Let's talk about what happened, cos why did you leave us?

I was too scared to do that stuff!

I had Sheen here, I had Bash here.

No. No.

I couldn't move.

James, you did leave us out to dry.

You did. But... I got scared. I was too scared.

We had guilt on us today.

All day, I was so anxious after that mission.

I genuinely thought Miranda rattled me.

I thought she bagged me.

Listen, I didn't want to be a Traitor. You didn't.

But I'm going to admit something to you now.

When I killed Ross Kemp in plain sight, I loved it.

And, and, and, and... I have enjoyed today more.

Yay! James, I'm so proud of you.

Thank you.

Who are we going to murder tonight, then?

Well, we can't murder Michael, he's got his Shield.

So has James Blunt, so has Joanne.

OK, so we know who we can't murder.

Yeah.

Who can we murder?

Miranda?

She's an investigator, so she kind of scares me a bit.

There's a chance that she could put two and two together.

I love her so much,

but her and Joanne did have a back and forth today.

That could make Joanne look guilty.

I know. And Joanne's already got eyes on her.

It would hurt to kill Miranda.

Yeah, of course.

Yeah.

Then you've got Bash.

Very outspoken.

More quiet today.

Didn't really do too much.

Don't know if that pins it on anybody if Bash goes, so far,

other than that you mentioned him at the Round Table.

You voted for him, it's not that he voted for you.

Yeah, so it wouldn't pin back to me.

So if you look at Romesh,

he brings a lot of good arguments to the table,

a lot of people look to him.

He's not like the head of the table, but he's definitely, like,

maybe the deputy head.

So, like, if he goes, I think morale-wise,

everyone loves having Rom around.

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, true. And he doesn't link back to anyone,

so it wouldn't affect us.

We can murder Bash, Romesh...

Or Miranda.

Yeah, I think we're decided.

By the way, this is my first murder and it feels good.

Yeah, be careful, don't write your own name.

There we go.

Wow! I love the power this gave me.

I knew you'd enjoy this.

It feels great.

This is a good decision.

Can't wait for breakfast tomorrow.

Let's go.
