Hua Xu Yin

Episode 42

For the first day,

clean up this place nicely.

Remember. That place is the place the High General lives in.

Low ranking people are not allowed in.

Do your work well.

If you do your job,

I will switch you into the palace.

That is a good place.

You can eat a lot of good things!

Thank you, Housekeeper.

Do your job.

Brother Mu Yan!

Brother Mu Yan!

Brother Mu Yan!

Brother Mu Yan, you came back

Housekeeper! Housekeeper!What are you doing?

I'm Jun Fu, brother Mu Yan

I...

I say, you brat! Didn't I tell you already?

This is the General's mansion! You cannot run around rashly!

General, this is the newly arrived little brat, he doesn't know the rules.

You're the brat!

Brother Mu Yan, I'm Jin FuDid you remember me?

Low ranking people cannot run around rashly in here.

Teach the servants the rules!

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Brother Mu Yan, what's the matter?

I came just to find you!

Don't tell me you don't remember me

I'm Jun Fu, brother Mu Yan

Brother Mu Yan

Do you remember?

I remember.

I just knew that you were lying to me!

I remember.

I haven't seen someone be so daring in a long time!

You're a woman?

You're too much!

Please punish me, General!

-General!Someone come!

-General!-Take this stinky brat,

and drag her out to be beaten!

-Let's go!-General!-Mu Yan gege!

Do you really not remember me anymore?

-Wait a second!-Mu Yan gege!

General!

Lock her up in the kitchen first.

Yes! Thank you for your grace, General.

You little brat.

-Mu Yan gege! I'm Jun Fu, Mu Yan gege!-Let's go, you brat!

-Mu Yan gege! I'm Jun Fu!-Hurry and go!

-Why don't you remember me?-Let's go!

Mu Yan gege! Mu Yan gege!

Mu Yan-!

You dare to yell the High General's name?

I think you are tired of living.

So what if I call out his name?

What do I not dare to do?

Mu Yan! You big stupid egg!

You heartless person!

Mu Yan, you big stupid egg!

You keep yelling! I think you must have gone crazy!

I haven't gone crazy! He recognizes me!

He's just forgotten about me!

And you still say you're not crazy! Isn't this crazy talk?

You know the High General?

Then I must be marrying the princess!

Take it! Let me tell you,

I'm just seeing that you're pretty pitiful.

In a bit, I will close the door,

but I won't put the lock on.

In the middle of the night, secretly run away.

After you go out, spend your days well. Don't go spouting nonsense.

I won't go!

Mu Yan gege is just temporarily forgetting me!

He will definitely remember me!

You brat! Are you crazy or silly?

My words are for your good, but you won't listen!

Okay okay, I cannot deal with you.

I won't care. As you wish!

I don't believe that he can't remember me!

Your Highness, don't look at requests anymore.

Get some rest.

How can I have the interest to rest?

Look at these. The Kingdom of Zheng is making a fuss again.

Wasn't the alliance just signed?

Yes.The border conflicts have temporarily stopped,

but the Kingdom of Zheng has mentioned

the problem of splitting the borders with the Kingdom of Chen.

This...! This is clearly a provocation!

Clearly someone is telling them what to do.

Your Highness, you are suspecting someone in the court?

What do you think?

Your Highness, you are suspecting the Prime Minister?

Who else has an extremely good relationship with the Kingdom of Zheng?

But...you've already given him countless glory!

Even Madam Liu in the inner palace is a special favor.

Is he still not satisfied?

In the past,

even Father had to do things based on Liu Wen's wishes.

He previously wanted to put my little brother onto the throne

because of my little brother's weak nature,

would have him listen to all Liu Wen said.

He could swallow everything.

But I made all his efforts go to waste.

He treats me as a king on the surface,

but in his heart, he wanted to

pull me down from the throne long ago.

He may have married his daughter to me,

but what he wants isn't just his position.

Your Highness, you want to make a move against him?

No.

He is the country's base.

How can I destroy my own hand?

What he wants, I'll give it to him.

Go. Summon Liu Wen into the palace.

Yes.

Your Highness, the Prime Minister has arrived.

-Hurry and send him in.-Yes.

Your Highness.

You don't need to be so courteous, please sit.

Serve the best tea!

Please use tea.

This is too much for me.

Not at all. The Kingdom of Chen is dealing with internal and external problems.

Only you

can help me shoulder some troubles.

Then I will take it.

I think you also know.

Right now the Kingdom of Zheng has become stronger,

and has come to our borders again.

Last time, you

created a perfect plan for us.

This time, I will ask you to do it personally again.

Your Highness, it's not that I am not willing to shoulder some troubles for you.

But I still come from a merchant's background.

To be am ambassador, those scholarly lords are better.

In the court, only your words make the biggest difference.

At the Kingdom of Zheng, they still have strength.

Right now, I cannot even deal with matters of my family.

How can I have interest to deal with this matter?

What has happened in your family?

It's just that Xinci

is my favorite daughter.

If she's not happy,

then my heart will feel terrible too.

Xinci is extremely loved in the palace.

Why isn't she happy?

But what I heard isn't like this.

She keeps saying that she may be a wife now,

but really, she hasn't

been loved as a wife.

When I heard this, my heart felt terrible.

She must have misunderstood. Recently, a lot is happening at court.

I must have ignored her.

Don't worry, I will definitely treat Xinci well.

Your Highness is an understanding person.

What you should do, and what you shouldn't do,

I do need to say much.

Naturally.

-Please drink tea.-Okay.

General Mu Yan, what is wrong with you today?

Are you in a bad mood?

I am Jun Fu, Mu Yan gege!

Mu Yan gege, I'm Jun Fu!

Madam.

Madam.

Why is it you? Where is His Highness?

His Highness asked me to come tell you

that he is busy with matters of the country, so he has no time to be with you today.

But,

he said that he would enjoy the moon with me today.

Forget it. You can go.

Greetings, Your Highness.

I've come to be with you.

What? Are you afraid?

I'm not afraid. I am already your wife.

Usually at this time,

women have to close their eyes.

Madam! Madam!

What are you doing? Madam!

-Let go!-Madam! Don't!

-I want to break it to pieces! I want to break it to pieces!-Madam, don't!

-Break it to piece!-Don't!

Madam! Madam!

Madam!

Your Highness! Please go see Madam Murong!

Your Highness!

You brat! You dare to speak like this here?

Come! Drag her out!

-Yes!-Wait.-Your Highness!

What has happened?

Your Highness, Madam suddenly started to cut her arm!

Go and see Madam!

She dares to treat herself this way?

Is she seriously injured?

His Highness, I can't believe her.

It is rare for you to have free time,

so I came to see you!

I didn't think that she'd treat herself like this!

Your Highness, hurry and go see her!

Or else, who knows what else she'lldo!

Please go see Madam Murong!

She's already entered the palace for so long.

She doesn't even know to share her husband.

If I go see her today,

and let her win, then what else will happen in the future?

She's so stubborn.

How can I let her throw such tantrums.

-Spread my edict.-Yes!

Murong An created trouble.

For half a year, no one can go see her!

Your Highness, if you punish her so harshly,

if outsiders find out,

they'd think that I instigated it!

Your Highness, how about look upon my face,

and spare her?

How can the inner palace not have rules?

Did you see Su Heng in the palace?

I didn't. His Highness was dealing with important documents.

He was talking with a lot of lords of the court.

I didn't dare to report.

If His Highness knew you got injured,

then he'd definitely fly over here!

You liar! He is in Chang Le Palace.

He's with Liu Xinci.

He doesn't want to come, right?

If you feel bad Madam, then cry!

You'll feel better after you cry!

Mermaids cannot cry.

One teardrop will run our blood dry.

I may have become human now,

but if I cry, will he see?

What use is there?

Then Madam, wait a little longer for His Highness to come!

I won't wait anymore.

I will never wait again.

Purely waiting is a very painful thing.

Sir, I hear that you have reserved this room for a long time!

This is our villa's room with the best feng shui!

Is that enough?

Enough! It's enough for half a year!

Take this too.

I understand! I will get girls for you right now!

All the best girls will fill your entire room!

They are our kingdom's most beautiful girls!

No need. Those two pieces of gold are for buying some peace.

No one can come into here.

No one cannot pass by outside either. If you can do that,

you can take both of these gold pieces.

I promise that one hundred steps around this room,

there won't even be a cat!

-Go on.-Yes.

Kingdom of Chen, I have returned!

Move aside!

What are you doing?

She's crazy! Let's go.

Scared me to death!

You are quite daring. I spared you from death earlier.

And you still won't give up?

It's all because of you!

Just what happened to you?

How can you forget me?

But I think that if one day you remember,

and I'm not by your side,

you will definitely be in such a panic!

Your meaning is that I was very close to you before?

Of course!

Also, I liked you too?

Impossible.

What do you mean, impossible?

You really didn't like me, have you forgotten, Mu Yan gege?

Your name is Su Yu. This...this place is the Hua Xu illusion!

You are the King of Chen, Su Heng's son!

What a lunatic.

It's true! I am the Kingdom of Wei's princess!

We got married before!

But the day we got married, you brought soldiers to attack our kingdom!

So I jumped down from the city walls.

How can you forget, Mu Yan gege?

How could you forget?

You clearly said that you'd marry me!

We've gone through so much too!

How could you forget me?

Then what am I to do now?

I'll give you one last chance.

You just need to take out evidence that you and I used to know each other.

I can think about what you said.

But, if you cannot bring it to me,

then don't appear in front of me ever again!

Evidence...I have evidence!

Look! This is evidence! My name is Jun Fu.

I sewed this character! This is "Fu"!

You're sure?

Then it'll be easy. Come with me.

Boss, what are you buying?

Give her some thread to sew a word.

Okay! That is fine!

-Sew for me to say.-You just watch.

Please.

-Your Highness-How are things?

Madam Murong's injury is fine now.

Give my orders, there cannot be any scar!

Yes. I will go do it right now.

But...Your Highness,

are you really not going to go see her?

Let's talk about that in a few days.

I understand.

That's right! Your Highness,

there is something that you will definitely be happy if you hear!

What is it?

Princess Deqing from the Kingdom of Tang has arrived at Wulei City.

Have living arrangements been made?

All prepared.

It's just...this young master is a little wild.

He says that he'll only come see you after he's played enough.

Then let him be.

Your Highness, why are you creating relationships with the Kingdom of Tang?

Haven't you already sent Prime Minister Liu to the Kingdom of Zheng?

If I can only use him,

then the one sitting in the throne should have the surname Liu.

Look! It's all done. Not bad, right?

Not bad. But...

Boss.

Do you feel like these characters were done by the same person?

These are clearly very different!

How can they have been done by the same person?

How is it impossible?

This is what I sewed in the past!

But to sew pretty characters on your clothing,

this is what I sewed after lots of practice!

I've already given you a chance.

There's nothing else you can say, right?

This is clearly my work!

Are you not letting me have improvements?

Did you know? To sew a character like this,

I've pricked my hand into a beehive.

This is really my work!

It really is, Mu Yan gege!

Hurry and wipe your eyes.

Don't follow me from now on.

Mu Yan gege!

Fu...

Mu Yan gege!

Mu Yan gege! I didn't just sew it on your clothes!

It's here too! It's in other places too!

It's still not finished yet.

Let me ask you. If I leave,

will you still follow me around?

Okay. I can take you in.

Really?

But there's a requirement.

From now on, you cannot say that we know each other.

You cannot pester me anymore.

I can only agree to half...

Okay okay okay! I agree! I agree to it all!

Then go back by yourself.

I can't follow you?

I...I'll go back to work right now!

Don't get angry! Don't get angry.

Stop! If we keep going, it's Madam Murong's palace.

-What are we stopping for? Keep going!-No no no, His Highness has given orders.

No one can step in there!

Or else they will be executed!

You take my money and sell your life to me? Get lost!

Then go!

Murong An, I must take you back!

Murong, I've come to take you away.

I know you're not happy here.

And Su Heng has betrayed you too!

Our things has nothing to do with others.

You know that Su Heng isn't loyal only to you!

He only has the throne and power in his heart!

For these, he can sacrifice everyone around him!

Just what do you want to say?

You've been locked up here.

Do you think this place is really the Enchanted Forest?

Murong, hurry and wake up!

In this world, he's not the only one who loves you!

The first time I saw you,

I've been attracted by your attitude towards love.

Actually, what I worked so hard

to go to the Enchanted Forest to find wasn't the holy flame!

It was you! For you, I can give up my throne!

I can give up everything, as long as you are happy!

You don't need to say it anymore. If I fall in love with someone,

I will love that person for my entire life.

I am that stubborn.

Even if that person makes me brokenhearted,

-and let me hate life, I will have no regrets.-I-!

Because it was Su Heng who let me experience human love.

I only know that I love him.

Murong! There is one day that you'll definitely give up Su Heng!

At that time, I will still be waiting for you!

From now on, you will work here.

Since the High General is willing to take you in,

then work well.

Don't go speaking nonsense to make the general angry.

I got it, Uncle Zhao.

There isn't much to do today. Just feed the horses for the general.

De Zi.

Uncle Zhao.

This is the new helper.

Teach her the rules.

Okay! Don't worry, Uncle Zhao!

Thank you Uncle Zhao!

You're new?

I heard that the High General had you come.

I am someone close to the High General.

Someone close? Don't be silly.

Let me tell you. Take good care of these horses.

If anything happens, don't blame me!

Don't worry!

De ZXi. The General wants to go out. Get the bridle ready.

The general wants to use a horse?

It probably isn't this one.

You will do! This way, I can see Mu Yan gege!

Let's go!

Let's go.

Mu Yan-General, your horse is here.

You chose the wrong one.

This isn't the horse I usually use.

Change it.

But they said that it's this one!

How can this horse do?

How can it go onto the battlefield?

I just said that this horse won't do. Come.

How can you talk about the horse that way?

All of you depend on a horse to fight!

If you say that, do you think he won't understand? He has a human nature too!

If someone speaks to you like that, would you retaliate or get angry?

What did you say?

General! General! Your horse has come.

Why so late?

She chose the wrong one, so I brought it here.

No one has ever dared to speak to me so loudly before.

You are indeed quite daring.

You will care for this horse from now on.

If anything goes wrong, I'm blaming you!

Here! Our High General mansion never treats servants poorly.

Take good care of your injury.

I'm going to practice. Tack up the horse and take it to the practice field.

Yes.

I just knew that even if you don't remember me,

you will still treat me well!

Mu Yan gege!

Madam.

What is this?

Madam, this is a gift for you from the Ministry of Crafts.

These are pearls. His Highness really likes to pamper you.

We don't lack this in our home.

Are you unhappy with my rewards?

Your Highness.

Leave first.

Of course I know that this is a gesture of kindness.

Yet...if Your Highness really dotes on me,

then you should give me what I truly want.

I've long heard that the young Miss from the Liu household is arrogant.

It seems that even if I give you the best jewels from Wulei Palace,

you won't give them a single glance.

I want to hear what you want the most.

Frankly, I don't want anything that is hard to get.

It's just that you can't bear to do it.

Other than this kingdom, I want to see

what else that is not obtainable?

Even if Your Highness gives me the Kingdom of Chen, I wouldn't want it.

I only envy Sister Murong

for having the same jade bracelet as Your Highness.

Even if Your Highness isn't next to her, she can think of you when she sees the bracelet.

Unlike me, who only has a casket of treasures

but an empty heart.

This is not difficult.

I will immediately tell the craftsmen to make an identical one.

How could it be exactly the same?

Furthermore, even if it's exactly the same, the meaning is different.

So, you are jealous.

Yes, I'm jealous.

I want to know if in your heart, Murong and I are of the same importance.

You are quite cheeky. I can hardly hold my own in front of you.

Are you really going to give this to me?

You and Murong have one each. This is fair now.

I want Your Highness to personally put in on for me.

I have some matters to attend to. Have an early rest. I will see you later.

That is Murong An, the demon girl. We should take another route.

Bypass her?

Sister. You like flowers too?

Let me judge the quality first

and whether it's worth it?

Shy? Since you know how to be shy,

Then why are you revealing yourself

in public and allowing people to judge you?

Sister. You may not know me. This is the first time we met.

In fact, I've always wanted to visit your palace and greet you.

How could this be the first time we met?

Aren't you the winner from the Fanghua Banquet?

You...

That's right. I even spent money to buy you.

How could you talk to our Madam this way?

Ping Er.

My father once said that His Highness is under the spell of a demon girl.

I originally didn't believe it.

I didn't think that after seeing you today,

I didn't think that a beauty like you could be so distasteful and vulgar.

No wonder His Highness is starting to lose interest.

His Highness comes to my palace every night.

I did think that because we are sisters,

I shouldn't monopolise his love.

But after meeting you today, I then realised that...

Madam. What did you realise?

I've realised that His Highness was just momentarily attracted by the freshness.

After all, coming from the woods, and lacking a proper upbringing -

these kinds of women are hard to find among us.

Coming from the woods, and lacking a proper upbringing?

- Isn't that so? - Who says it's not?

Do you know how women from the wild mountains

treat things they dislike?

Don't do anything foolish. HIs Highness will not let you off.

My father will also never let you off.

Tell them to come here and find me.

Madam!

I will have to trouble you, Prime Minister.

Not at all.

Alleviating Your Highness' worries is my job.

Reporting!

- Your Highness. - What has happened?

Your Highness, Madam Murong attempted to assault someone in the gardens.

Who is she being aggressive to?

Liu... Madam Liu.

Madam Liu?

Stop!

Your Highness. Save me!

Your Highness.

Xin Ci. Your Highness.

This demoness dares to assault someone in the palace in broad daylight.

I would like to request that Your Highness seeks justice for my daughter.

Murong. What are you doing?

Put down the sword now.

Su Heng. You lied to me again.

You said that I'm the only one in your heart.

But why did you give this jade bracelet to her. How do you expect me to believe you?

Put down the sword first. I will explain to you.

Explain? These are all lies.

Let me ask you. Who am I in your heart?

You are my wife.

I dote on you and love you just like Madam Xin Ci.

What did you say?

Perhaps I treated you too well in the past.

I thought that you were different from others.

I despise women becoming arrogant,

and hate it when the peace of the Inner Palace is ruined by jealousy.

Men.

Take Murong An away.

Your Highness. She scared me to death.

Okay, everything is fine.

Take Murong An back to her palace, and wait for my edict.

Your Highness. The demoness is very savage,

and has ruined Your Highness' reputation.

I would like to request Your Highness to sentence her for committing a grave offense.

You are correct, but I still need to think about her final punishment.

Your Highness, I know you are very magnanimous.

This kind of demoness. How could she be fit to wear the same bracelet as mine?

If you must really sentence her,

I hope that you will take away her bracelet and exile her to the Cold Palace.

I believe that my father will not take her to task.

Take away her bracelet.
