Today I'm turning 18.

But their birthday gift was to offer me to a Gorgi.

The hissing.

She's here.

Medusa, the monster who turns anyone who sees her to stone.

Happy birthday, Ellie.

I'm sorry I couldn't get you anything this year. Just get better.

That's all the gift I need.

Medusa demands a sacrifice at dawn. Your sister was chosen by the Oracle, but

you're going in her place.

The Oracle called her name, not mine. I'm not going. You ungrateful little

blind wretch. You're worthless to everyone.

Dying for your sister should be an honor. I said no.

I'm taking Ben, and we're leaving this place. Fine. Then Ben can go instead.

Your choice, sister. One more no, and I'll throw this boy into the ocean right

now and watch the Starks rip him to pieces. Get about me. You can't go.

Mother told me, no matter what happens, survive.

I can't risk Ben's life.

Let him go.

I'll do it.

Villagers, hear me.

Ella Boy has volunteered to take her sister's place. She offers her life to

save us all. One blind girl for the safety of the entire village. At least

now she's worth something.

Stop squirming. Just die quietly like the curse you are.

Your life for mine, dear sister.

What a lovely trade.

She already agreed.

Give a lean to Lady Medusa now.

Blind orphan thinks she can back out?

Pathetic.

Thank you.

Such a sweet scent.

You're untouched, aren't you?

And this waist.

So delicate.

I wonder if my tail will break you in two when I take you. Don't touch me!

I'm not some toy for you.

Ah, blind.

And yet so bold.

How interesting. Lady Medusa, forgive her insolence. Kill the blind fool if

she offends you, but spare the rest of us. Yes, my lady, she's rotten, filthy,

shameless. Just end her. Kill the cursed one.

Silence.

Who gave you the right to speak of my offering?

Give me your hand.

I said, give me your hand.

And don't think about running from me.

She's going to eat me. She is no longer your sacrifice.

She is my bride.

The first one who didn't run screaming or beg for death.

How curious.

By tomorrow night, these hands will be busy with other duties.

Don't worry, I'll feed you very well.

Have you lost your mind?

Medusa claimed her as bride in front of everyone. One bruise and the lady's

wrath will kill us all.

I'll take this necklace.

You're just going to be her plaything anyway. No, it's all I have left of my

mother. Don't you dare mention that diseased, ravaged hand.

Ungrateful whore. I took you in when no one else would. You'd have starved

without me.

We took you in.

This was my mother's house.

You're nothing but parasites.

What did you just say?

I'll beat this little bastard to death right now! Stop! Don't touch him!

Who gave you permission to lay a hand on her?

Lady Medusa, mercy.

We'll never lay a finger on her again, I swear it. And I won't take anything from

her ever again. Next time this happens,

You will know how it feels to see your flesh turning into stone.

Drink.

Swallow it.

Such a soft tongue.

It'll be perfect for licking something else.

Ellie, please don't go. We can run away together.

There's nowhere to run, Ben.

What if I told you we could make a deal?

Easy now.

You help me find Medusa's serpent heart and I'll save your brother's life. You

want me to steal from her? Not steal. Just tell me where it is. That's all.

Okay.

I think I can do that.

Use this to contact me.

Go!

Medusa will come take her!

Poor little blind virgin.

So pretty yet so close to death.

You don't even know what it's like, do you?

Derek?

What the hell are you doing here? Get away from me! Playing innocent now, you

little slut?

Let me give you a real taste.

I'll make you feel so good you'll never forget me. Get your filthy hands off me,

you animal!

Just this once, sweetie. You're dead by morning anyway. Might as well enjoy

yourself. Damn! Look at that skin.

I'm gonna ruin you tonight!

Help! Someone help me!

Lady Medusa, please!

I'm sorry! I shouldn't have touched her!

Aloyda is my wife. You disrespect her and your whole family will be stone.

Now be gone.

Darling, you're trembling so beautifully and you haven't even made it to my bed

yet.

Stand still.

Touch me.

Learn who you'll be sharing a bed with tonight.

What's the matter? Afraid of me?

I've never been this close to anyone before.

Then remember it well.

Your first time belongs to me.

Please, not like this. Everyone's watching us.

Then we'll give them a show.

Keep going.

Can we... can we stop now?

Not even close.

You've only felt the woman.

You haven't felt the monster yet.

So this is the pathetic little scrap you dragged

in. She'll shatter the moment you climb on top of her.

Might be a spy planted by Poseidon himself.

My choice of bride is none of your concern.

Watch your tongues.

Well then, do try not to break her before sunrise.

Mark my words, Medusa, this one will ruin you.

I, Medusa, swear by the sacred name of Gaia, with my serpent heart as witness.

Elodie is my one and only wife.

We share breath and blood until death takes us both.

No one has ever loved me.

And now, a Gorgon claims she will?

No.

I'm just a sacrifice, not a wife. And where exactly do you think you're going?

Let me show you something enlightening.

Ben! His sister's gone off with the Gorgon, so why are we still wasting food

on him? Wait a bit longer. If Medusa gets barred with him and throws her

back, we can use the boy as leverage. But, Mum, his coffin keeps me awake

every night. Just throw him in the woodshed.

You run back, and your brother dies the very same day. I promise you that.

So tell me, are you going to run?

That deal is the only way Ben survives.

I won't run.

I'll be your wife.

Good girl.

Now repeat after me.

I offer my blood as bond and become Medusa's wife.

I offer my blood as bond and become Medusa's wife. One last ritual and

you're mine.

Refusing already?

But your body's telling a different story.

Please, please stop.

Save your strength darling by tonight's end you'll be begging me not to stop

Stop people are watching forget them

focus on me

Not

so loud darling unless you want me to take you right here

That fool Medusa actually did it.

She bound her divine power to this blind little wretch.

Might as well give her power to me. Stop whining.

Something about this doesn't add up.

Talk. Do you work for Poseidon? He sent you to infiltrate Meduda's temple?

I don't know anything about Poseidon.

Look at that flushed little face.

Medusa didn't satisfy you just now?

Or are you trying to seduce me too?

She is my wife.

No one touches her but me.

Not even you.

Take her to my chamber.

Vows. Sacred pacts. They're all just lies.

Lies? You seem to enjoy yourself well enough in my hands just now.

Where are you running to?

You're my wife now.

And you have all night to learn how to please me properly. I never agreed to

this. The village forced me here. I love someone else. A man.

Let me go! Go find some other girl who actually wants this!

You like men?

Tell me, has any man ever fucked you before?

Can they reach as deep inside you as I can?

Can they make you come apart the way I do?

Don't touch me, you sick maniac!

You're being very naughty.

Hold still.

Put me down, you lunatic!

You slapped me, and you think you can walk away?

Your choice. Wash yourself, or I strip you bare and do it for you.

I'll do it myself.

Just get out.

I changed my mind.

Beautiful breasts.

From now on, only I get to see them. Understood?

Don't. Please don't do this.

Do what?

I'm only washing you.

Relax. I'm not going inside you tonight.

You already did earlier.

Don't go any lower.

Oh, please, no.

Pay close attention.

I'm teaching you how to be a good wife.

Why are you trembling so much and your heart's racing?

Do you want me to kiss you that badly?

What was that?

They're everywhere.

Serpents are lustful by nature. If they don't smell sex in the air, they'll tear

every living thing in sight to shreds. Stop manipulating me.

What do I have to do to make them leave me alone?

Come to me.

Relax.

I don't like forcing people.

But you need to let them hear exactly how you sound when you're in my arms.

You want me to kiss you.

Admit it.

No, I don't.

Liar.

The other sacrifices, they always tried to run.

But you're different.

What happened to them?

Did you kill them all?

They weren't worthy of my attention.

Then why did you save me?

Are you trying to find excuses for me? I'm just asking. Because you're my wife,

and we haven't consummated our marriage yet.

If you wanted sex, you could have just taken me. That is true.

But I want you to kiss me first.

To tell me you want me too.

Do you really just want me as your wife?

I'll let you off the hook tonight.

That mysterious man said, If I find the serpent heart, Ben will be saved.

Find it, and I can leave this place.

Could you show me around?

Medusa wants me to familiarize myself with the temple. Can a blind girl even

see where she's going?

Really thinks she's somebody important now. Fine, let's walk.

Up ahead is the main hall, behind is the treasure vault. As for the stone

gallery, that's the mistress' forbidden oath.

If you go in there, trash, you'll die before you even know it.

Who's there?

A blind girl thinks she can be mistress of this place?

You think you're worthy?

All I know is that Medusa chose me as her wife.

Not you.

Save me! I've been standing here for a hundred years!

You reek of her scent, you whore. You're her little pet, too.

Why did she turn you into stone?

That scent on you, it's not just seawater. I've smelled this before. It's

Poseidon. He's searching for... Searching for what? You'll rot here,

too! Looks like these people deserve this.

No, they're moving.

Who gave you permission to bring her here?

My lady, we failed in our duty.

Why aren't you in bed?

Still thinking about running away?

No, it's not that. I just... Mum,

I miss you so much.

That's fast for a blind girl.

It's you.

You really do miss that family of yours.

I'm sorry.

I thought it was my stepsister trying to hit me again, so I... You are my wife

now.

No one will ever dare lay a hand on you again.

Why are you being so kind to me?

Why are you avoiding me?

And you haven't eaten anything in two days.

Trying to starve yourself to death?

That's none of your business.

Did you do this in the village, too?

Ben and I, we didn't get much to eat.

Most times we only ate once a day.

And that was my stepfather's leftovers.

No.

Don't turn me to stone.

You actually think I'd turn people to stone on a whim?

You're afraid of me, aren't you? I'm just... Remember this.

You are Medusa's wife.

You should have access to the finest food in the world.

Good thing she left.

But I still haven't found the Serpent Heart.

My lady.

Keep going.

That voice.

The Pegasus.

Come here.

My lady, she doesn't even dare approach you. How can such a useless creature be

a proper wife to you?

What are you two doing?

Are you questioning me?

Lost your tongue already?

You were so bold a moment ago.

Where do you think you're running off to now?

No, I can't let this happen.

Medusa, you can't do this.

I'm your wife. You can only have sex with me.

Are you being jealous, little thing?

You blind wretch.

Do you really think your mistress here?

I'll kill you right now! Save you the humiliation of being tossed out later!

Who gave you permission to harm her?

My lady, I... Know your place.

Get out.

Lost your voice again?

Want to know what I was doing just now?

No.

Then why were you so mad?

I wasn't.

Really?

Then why did you storm back here? I don't care who you sleep with.

Just let me go and I won't get in the way of your fun anymore.

This is what makes you so angry?

I never touched him.

He was only massaging my feet.

And yet you chased him off.

Now it's your turn to serve me.

Don't touch me, Elodie.

Don't say my name.

You know what? I thought maybe... No, you'll always be the high and mighty

Medusa. Anyone will do for you. You're a liar.

Go play your games with whoever you want.

Get down.

If I only wanted to toy with you, I would have let you drown in the sea.

So I should thank you?

Thank you for saving me, then locking me up like a prisoner?

Elodie, get down.

I'm a person.

I have feelings. I'm not your plaything.

Elodie!

Are you insane?

You're the insane one.

Go! Never!

This is the last time you threaten me with your life.

I will not tolerate it again.

I hate you.

Good.

You're brave enough to say it.

So tonight, don't even think about running.

Trembling like this just from hearing my voice?

Don't.

Your body's saying yes to me.

Talk.

Let go of me.

Let's see which mouth tells the truth.

The one up here or the one down here.

Am I actually falling for a Gorgon who's killed so many people? Marry a good

person. No, stop.

We can't do this. Want to run now?

When you were begging in my hands just a moment ago, you didn't seem so

reluctant.

Medusa, please don't.

If you don't want it, then forget it.

I told you I don't like forcing people.

I still haven't found the Serpent Heart. Give me a little more time.

Don't forget why you entered this island.

Get the Serpent Heart, save your brother, and leave the Gorgon. I know.

Or are you starting to have second thoughts?

I'm not.

She's actually not as bad as I thought.

Who gave you permission to lay a hand on her? She saved me, and she never truly

forced me to do anything.

She just acts fierce.

But she's actually kind.

What am I supposed to do now?

Who were you talking to?

I was just getting some fresh air.

Planning to jump?

No.

Then you're homesick.

Or missing that man you claim to love?

No, it's not that!

I hope so.

What are you doing?

Keeping you safe, of course.

You're my wife.

Without my permission, you're not going anywhere.

What if I run away?

Then I'll drag you back and tie you to my bed.

Sex all the mighty Madoka ever thinks about.

So, have you ever thought about having sex with me?

What are you talking about?

I've never thought about that.

Then give it a try.

How else would you know?

If you like it or not.

I just... How did you know I was here just now?

Because of this.

Spying?

You're my wife.

I'm not a possession or a pet. I need freedom.

Come here.

Last night you were clinging to me in bed, begging me not to leave.

And today you want freedom?

That was different.

Different how?

Last night you were so obedient like a little puppy.

Kiss me.

That kiss was reluctant.

Boring. What does she even want?

I can't figure her out.

The northern fishing village got hit by waves again last night. Half the

street's gone.

A lot of people died.

Ben's still in the village.

I have to get the Serpent Heart and save him.

How did a blind girl like you get in here?

Even high demons can't pass through that barrier.

Who cares?

Look at that seductive little face. She's probably here to crawl into the

lady's bed again.

Think she can be the mistress now? A human sacrifice riding on the lady's

novelty for a few days and she dares barge into places like this?

The lady is busy. Go wait in her bed. When she remembers you, she'll come find

you.

What, cat got your tongue?

Playing pitiful works on the lady?

Not here, you little whore.

Are you done?

Then move aside.

On whose authority?

On the authority that I'm her wife.

I need to see her.

It's not your place to decide.

So what if you're her wife?

You don't actually think Medusa cares about a blind girl like you, do you?

Whether she cares about me isn't for you to say.

Without this, you can't even walk, can you? Pick up my cane.

You really do think highly of yourself.

When she gets bored, she can replace you any time.

If you disrespect her wife, you're disrespecting Medusa herself. What

nonsense are you spewing?

My lady.

Continue.

I'm pleased you used my name to pressure them.

Those who bully you, how should I punish them? I was wrong. Please beg for mercy

on my behalf. I shouldn't have humiliated her either. My lady, spare me

this once.

Coming to find me on your own.

Did you miss me?

I need to talk to you about something.

Would you like me to keep you company tonight?

So forward today.

I want to discuss something.

All right.

There's something better be amusing enough.

What do you want?

If you don't speak up now, I can't promise you'll be able to say anything

later. Except moans.

I... I want to go back to the village. I heard there was another disaster.

My brother's still there.

That hurts.

Please, just let me see him once.

My stepfamily won't look after him. No.

If I don't go, he might not survive.

He's your brother, not mine. Whether he lives or dies has nothing to do with me.

No wonder everyone says your blood is cold.

And they're right.

You're just a heartless monster.

Enough.

Giant.

Take her to the east shore.

Yes, my lady.

Medusa?

A heartless monster.

Ben, please, don't let anything happen to you.

How did you get here? Did you row here alone?

No.

Lady Medusa brought me here.

Finished crying now?

I'm sorry, Medusa!

Thank you.

A simple thank you isn't nearly enough. I saved your brother. I should receive

proper gratitude.

Perhaps tonight in bed, you could be a little more obedient.

Something came up with my people. I need to handle it.

The attendants will escort you both back to the temple.

Ellie, she's long gone.

I was thinking.

About the Serpent Heart?

Do you even know what it looks like?

No.

Poseidon only told me the name.

What if it's somewhere in Medusa's palace?

I don't even know where to start looking.

Ellie, if she finds out you're looking for this thing, will she kill you?

I don't know.

She's actually falling for that Gorgon.

Looks like she won't last long in my service.

I'd better prepare a backup.

Let's give her village a little lesson first.

And perhaps it's time for her foolish step-family to have a little reunion

with her as well.

Ellie, has Lady Medeiros been treating you badly?

No.

She's good to me.

That's a relief.

I heard the monster market in the north opens tonight.

There are lots of rare things.

Maybe we can find medicine to cure your eyes.

No.

That is too dangerous.

But you'd be able to see me.

Just for my eyes?

And the serpent heart.

If we can't find it, we'll have to keep obeying that mysterious man.

Medusa's not here.

Just a quick look.

If we don't find it, we'll come right back.

All right.

Ellie, there's someone selling potions over there. I'll go ask.

First time at the market?

Here, drink this. It'll refresh you.

Thank you, I... My lady, what are you

doing here? I was only trying to wait!

Don't accept anything from strangers.

I understand.

Come on, dance with us!

She looks beautiful.

Who? It's me.

I thought you left. How could I? You look so happy.

No, I'm terrible at dancing. Don't worry about the steps. Just follow me.

Enjoying yourself?

Yes.

I haven't been this happy in a long time.

That girl's gorgeous.

Shame she's blind.

Bet she'd be wild in bed, though. Don't turn around.

What happened?

We're going back.

Now? Why?

We just got here.

Do I need to explain myself?

You're hurting me. Why are you suddenly angry? I'm not. It's just... You were

fine just a moment ago.

There were flies staring at you. I know exactly what they were thinking.

Then why didn't you just tell me?

I didn't want these things to bother you. You always do this!

I'm not some helpless idiot. I survived just fine before you came along.

My lady!

I didn't know she was your woman.

Silence.

I really didn't know. I just found her pretty, wanted to take her back.

And you still dare to speak.

My lady, I was wrong.

Please spare me just this once.

I didn't touch her. I really didn't touch her. But you tried.

That's reason enough to die.

Everyone see that clearly?

You again?

You misunderstood her just now. She wasn't angry at you.

That girl's gorgeous.

Shame she's blind.

She was just jealous. She doesn't like others looking at you.

She actually cares about me.

Which gives you the perfect chance to search for the Serpent Heart.

I still don't know where it is.

You know perfectly well why you're on this island.

If Medusa finds out you've been searching for her serpent heart all

along, do you think she'll still call you her wife?

My lady, you check on her every day. Where could she possibly run to?

Keep watching her.

What if she notices?

Then you can all stand guard as stone statues instead.

Not in the palace.

Sorry, it's me.

I've searched for days, nothing.

What if the Serpent Heart isn't out in the open at all? What do you mean?

I think it's with Medusa herself.

She's in the palace every day. The most dangerous place might actually be the

safest. If it's really on her or in her chamber?

Then we have to go in.

Medusa finds out you've been searching for her Serpent Heart all along. Do you

think she'll still call you her wife?

I can't let her find out.

I'll have to search her chamber then. I'll come with you.

I'll keep watch.

There might be sea demons over here. Quickly, this way.

Not here either.

What are you looking for?

Your back.

My shell necklace.

I think I lost it. I thought maybe it fell somewhere in here.

Need my help?

No, that's all right. I just need another check.

So you want the Serpent Heart too?

Go spread word that the Serpent Heart has been spotted at the Northern Monster

Market recently.

Yes, my lady.

Let's see what exactly you're searching for.

Did you hear? Someone spotted the Serpent Heart at the Northern Market.

For real?

News just came out. Lots of demons are heading there now.

The Serpent Heart?

I have to get it.

She's becoming more and more disobedient.

Since she can no longer be controlled, then I'll test Medusa with her life.

Find a blind human woman and bring her back.

She's my spy near Medusa.

Yes, my lord.

This time, I must find it.

The lady is looking for her wife.

My lady, we spot her. Keep a distance. Don't let her notice.

Excuse me. Are there anything rare here?

Haven't heard of any.

Have you heard of Serpent Heart?

Have you heard of Serpent Heart?

I know where the treasure you're looking for is, pretty girl.

You do?

Come with me.

You smell wrong.

You're not from here.

Sharp nose, then no need for pleasantries.

Now, come with me.

All right?

Ma'am, release her!

Quickly, report to Lady Medusa.

Let go of me!

I'm Medusa's wife.

She's powerful.

She won't let you get away with this.

Medusa's wife?

That lunatic would marry a blind girl like you? Let me go. It's not too late

now. Stop bluffing!

Little troublemaker.

My lady, something happened.

Lady Elodie was taken by a sea demon at the market.

Who dared touch her?

Come here, kneel and lick.

Medusa, where are you?

Ma'am, that fishing village has been quiet lately.

Should we stir up some trouble?

The village.

So all the disasters were your doing?

You've got guts.

You are quite pretty.

I'll give you that.

I'd love to see the look on Medusa's face when she finds out her precious

wife is being trampled like a dog under my foot.

Medusa will destroy you.

Still threatening me?

I'd love to see how she's going to destroy me. Get away!

Don't touch me!

I was wondering who it was. The mother serpent has arrived.

What's wrong?

Does it hurt to watch?

Just a blind mortal, and you treat her like some treasure.

But she is quite beautiful.

She'd make an excellent pet in bed, I imagine.

Don't listen to those words.

I haven't finished yet. You arrived too early. I haven't had the chance to train

her properly.

Say that again.

I dare you.

I said, she's just a... You!

Frighten. Giant, take her back to the palace.

Be careful.

Lunatic.

If you kill me, Lord Poseidon will never let you go.

Is a blind girl who betrayed you really worth it? She's mine.

You touched something you shouldn't have.

Wait, you fool. Do you really think she's innocent? She bears Poseidon's

mark. Shut up. She's been helping Poseidon for the serpent heart.

Look at me.

Elodie, can I trust you?

She fought that sea demon.

That demon looked powerful.

Could Medusa be injured?

Why am I worried about her?

Medusa, is that you? Are you back?

You're hurt.

So much blood.

It's not mine.

Don't move. Let me check. Are you hurt anywhere else?

Your hands are freezing.

You said you weren't hurt. I'm really not. I don't believe you.

You're this worried about me? I just... just wanted to make sure I wasn't hurt.

Since you care so much, is there something you want to tell me?

Never mind.

You can check more carefully.

Anywhere you'd like.

Done.

Are there any other wounds?

Keep going.

Does it hurt?

A little, when you touch it.

Then I'll be gentler. Don't move.

Why are you being so good to me today?

You fought that sea demon because of me.

How could I not care?

Is that the only reason?

What else would it be?

Don't. You shouldn't.

Those lowlifes can't hurt me. You call this unhurt?

Everyone's called me a vicious gorgon. For my whole life.

They fear me.

They hate me.

They think I'm weak and vulnerable if I'm not fierce. I need them to fear me.

Then no one dares touch me. And you.

Then from now on, I'll protect you too.

You protect me?

You like me this much, don't you? I never said that.

Eladid?

Is there anything you need to tell me?

I don't know what you're talking about.

Be good.

I don't want to see you hiding from me today.

What are you looking for?

She's been helping Poseidon for the Serpent Heart.

Forget it.

Are you angry?

No. Then why did you stop?

You clearly wanted me.

What were you thinking just now?

Nothing. I want you willing, holding nothing back, looking only at me, not

carrying secrets while pretending with me.

What if that day really comes? I'll leave you too exhausted to even beg for

mercy.

I have to find the Serpent Heart.

Where is it hidden?

The Sea God's prize can't just vanish.

What are you looking for?

Nothing. I just couldn't sleep.

Is that so?

Eladade, you have been up to far too much behind my back lately.

Teach me.

I want to be strong enough to protect you too.

Come with me.

The rules are simple.

Listen to the wind.

Hit me once, and you win.

What do I get if I win?

I'll teach you archery, and maybe give you that thing you've been tearing this

temple apart searching for, day and night.

She knows I'm looking for the Serpent Heart?

What's wrong, losing your nerve?

Of course not.

I will win.

It's too hard to hear you.

I can't touch you.

Looks like you won't be getting what you want.

One more time.

How can you be so careless?

All's fair in war, Medusa.

I win.

Do you want me dead that badly?

I won.

You promised you'd teach me how to protect myself.

Listen to the wind.

Where the wind blows, aim.

Like this?

A little more to the side.

Good. You didn't embarrass me.

I did it!

I actually did it!

This happy? Of course, I earned this with real skill.

Just now, when you had that arrow pointed at me, I thought you'd already

found what you were looking for.

Come closer, I can't reach you.

I won't let you leave.

You asked for this.

That's enough for tonight.

What should I do

with you? Kill you?

Medusa? Is that you?

You're hurt.

I'm fine. Go back to sleep.

If you chose to entangle yourself with me, to trap me in this temple, why do

you keep thinking of others?

I'm not. You are!

Otherwise, why do you refuse to let me touch you every time we make love?

I'm yours.

And you're mine.

Look at me.

Medusa, what am I to you?

Say something.

Why do you push me away every time I get close?

Is that enough?

Will you push me away again this time?

You really want answers?

Fine, I'll tell you. What do you mean?

Your approach, your scheming. What was it all for?

The Serpent Heart you want is right here.

Kill me and you can take it.

No, no, it's not like that. How could it be?

The Serpent Heart is my heart. No, I almost helped Poseidon kill you. I had

no idea. I didn't know the Serpent Heart was your heart.

I don't want it anymore.

I don't want anything. I only want you from now on.

Even if you beg for mercy, I won't listen.

Mother, I've fallen in love with her.

She's not what everyone says she is.

My child, there's nothing wrong with loving someone.

Your stepfather took Poseidon's money.

Your eyes, my death, he did it all.

And Medusa?

She's a pitiful child, too.

I'm grateful that after I'm gone, there's someone who can love you in my

place.

Take care of each other and be careful of Poseidon.

Mother.

Who hurt you?

It was Poseidon who killed my mother and blinded me.

Why does everyone say it was you?

Back then I was guarding the sacred gates.

Poseidon wanted to lay a hand on me.

I rejected firmly, then he framed me for seducing the gods.

After that, I became the vicious Gorgon, while he remained the benevolent god.

Laughful.

Poseidon owes us both.

Let's take it back together.

Go to Obsidian Island.

Find out where the Serpent Heart is.

Yes, my lord.

That blind girl actually lives in a place like this now.

Doesn't matter. She's just the Gorgon's plaything.

Ellidoid, come and greet your family.

Don't forget who you are.

Right, sister.

Someone's toy. You think you're highborn now?

Asking for death.

Don't kill them.

Why not?

Still as easy to manipulate as before.

Useless.

Whatever you say.

Since Elevi asked, you may stay.

All of this will be mine.

You're really living well now, sister.

Best food, best clothes, and a master to protect you.

But don't forget, you're just a useless blind girl.

That monster might find your face pretty, but you'll never be more than

her toy.

A toy?

Sounds like you're jealous of me.

Jealous? Don't make me laugh!

Aren't you, though?

You want my clothes, my room, my position.

Too bad you don't even qualify to be a toy.

If you can seduce the Grogel, so can I.

After tonight, this temple will be mine.

Medusa, you're back.

I've been waiting for you.

Lady Medusa, let me attend to you.

Pathetic fool.

I can smell your stench from far away.

Your imitation is laughable.

And what makes you think you can climb into my bed?

Why does Eloide get to be your wife? She's just a blind girl who can't do

anything. How is she better than me? You chose her because she's novel, right? I

can give you something different, too.

I got lost. I didn't know this was your room. I was just looking for my sister.

No, no, you can't do this to me.

Speak.

Why are you here? I was wrong. I wanted to be your woman. I was jealous of

Elladoy. Please spare me.

What happened?

I heard screaming.

Save me. This thing's crazy.

Silence.

You don't need to explain.

Using my name to steal,

you've got nerve.

But I'm Elodie's father!

Father, you're not worthy.

Elodie, what are you waiting for? Aren't you afraid I'll tell them everything?

You mean that she's Poseidon's spy?

Or that she approached me for the Serpent Heart? You knew everything!

Father, we've been tricked!

Poseidon is a liar!

Fool! Shut up!

So what if you know? Lord Poseidon promised to protect us. I'll call him

right now.

Lord Poseidon!

Save me!

You really know how to make trouble for me.

You're useless now.

Deal with the mess yourself.

Betraying me? You think Medusa can protect you forever?

Stay away from her.

Pathetic creature.

I killed your mother. I blinded you. With a little money, your stepfather

helped me frame Medusa, just like when I framed her years ago.

My lord, I've always been your most loyal dog.

Eloise, Poseidon forced me into this too.

Don't kill him. He'll dirty your hands.

Mother, you can rest in peace now.

I was wrong. I was truly wrong.

Get out.

Don't let me see you again.

The whole village knows.

You killed your own wife for money, then blamed the Gorgon. It was Poseidon.

Poseidon made me. Now you're blaming Poseidon? When you took the money, why

didn't you say that?

either.

Two useless idiots.

Couldn't even handle one blind girl.

Elladoy is completely out of my control now.

Oh, right.

She still has a brother.

Elladoy.

I won't listen to you anymore.

Your brother?

How has his health been lately?

What did you do to him?

Your brother's life is in your hands now.

I'm giving you a taste of what it's like to be a god.

And not just him.

Leave Medusa.

Come find me alone.

If you don't show up, they'll all die.

Despicable.

I need to go back to my village.

What happened?

Poseidon wants me to come alone.

If I don't, he'll kill my brother and the villagers.

Oh.

The blind girl's suddenly feeling compassionate?

When they bound you to that altar, I didn't see a single one speak up for

you.

Now you want to play the saint?

How many can you actually save?

If Poseidon truly acts, are you confident you'll make it back alive?

I don't know.

But my little brother is there.

Hear that?

For one sickly boy, she's willing to throw her own life away. How foolish.

Steno, shut up.

You want to go that badly?

Even if it might kill you.

Without my brother, I'd truly be dead, Medusa.

Give me time to consider this.

I love you, Medusa.

Because of me.

They're innocent.

Trust me. Let me go. No.

That's suicide.

Please.

Stop.

It won't work.

Medusa.

Let me go.

I'll come back.

You're torturing me, you absolute mad woman.

Go.

You... You're letting me go?

Yes.

Eloïde.

I'll be here waiting for you to come back.

My marriage pact with Elavoy ends here.

Have you lost your mind?

For one human, you're even willing to break your divine pact.

Producer, thank you for trusting me enough to let me go.

You owe me nothing, Elodie.

Staying was your choice. So was leaving.

Go now, while I'm still feeling generous.

I love you.

I can see.

It's real.

I can see!

Is anyone here?

It doesn't hurt.

Wait.

This place isn't real.

Where's the exit?

This is impossible.

Where the hell am I?

This song... It's the sea prayer mother taught me.

Then I'll give you something else to hear.

Blind girls are useless!

Motherless bitch!

Offer her to the Gorgon!

I still have Ben.

I still have Medusa.

Finally, you made it out.

Today, neither of you will escape.

Once you're dead, I'll have the Serpent Heart. The fading faith, those pathetic

mortal's offerings, none of it will be able to chain me.

So that's why you need the Serpent Heart.

You figured it out too late. Soon this entire sea will be mine, and those fake

gods will kneel before me.

So the disasters you created, the sacrifices, all just to find a chance to

kill her?

Clever for a blind girl.

You pretend to protect the fishermen while feeding off their lives.

You're disgusting.

You can die with her, chatty mortal.

Finally breaking down.

Medusa?

You think these tricks can trap me?

With a blind girl dragging you down, you'll never beat me.

You'll die.

Medusa!

How dare you hurt her?

You're wounded.

Where do you think you can run?

Medusa, you've lost!

What is this?

No!

I'm the most powerful god!

Medusa?

Aladin!

Medusa.

We won.

Really?

Don't look at me.

Medusa.

Let go.

You'll turn to stone.

No, I won't.

I can feel it.

How is this?

Maybe because I'm your wife.

You're the most beautiful woman in the world.

This time I can finally see you

I

can

see you clearly

Are you satisfied?

Even more beautiful than I imagined.

Now's your last chance if you want to back out.

I'm not leaving you.

Medusa, I love you.

I know.

This time, it's your choice.
