Let tomorrow's storms descend,

What if darkness veils my eyes?

I cannot see fate's shifting tide —

Yet one heart remains bright inside.

I cradle this heart in both my hands,

Ignore her protests,

Swap sun and moon —

See black or white with my own eyes!

See all beings,

Their wishes realized.

I know where you're headed!

Above the layered clouds.

There's another sky,

another world.

There, we'll go together.

No moon above,

But mountains and rivers by my side.

I don't know why,

I just want this moment of pride.

Through every hardship,

With this body of mine,

I trade it all, To have you by my side.

Don't ask the color of the sky.

If there's no light,

I'll be your Starry River.

The Lonely King

We're going to kill them all!

All demons deserves death!

By the Blade, evil falls

By the Brush, life is born

Fight!

Great Yue

Nanyang Port

Grandma,

I see light over there!

General,

General,

look!

Look over there!

The mist...

has been lifted!

Ah'chuan...

did you really kill the Demon Marshal!?

Great Yue's Imperial Capital

DIE!

Xiang Liu!

Huh, where's Xiang Liu?

Here,

and everywhere.

You're late,

Savior of Great Yue!

(Oh, shit!)

Oh my god,

we really killed the Demon Marshal!

Our name will be in the history books!

From this day on,

the entire Cang Yuan Realm will remember us!

The four of us,

for the first time

in human history,

have slain a Demon Marshal!

How many of us?

Four of us!

No, seriously!

I was very pivotal in this!

I contributed too!

Participation matters!

Zhao Ergou.

Zhao Ergou,

Savior of Great Yue,

salutes the Empress!

It's true, we have you to thank.

But,

defeating Xiang Liu

was the work of everyone,

every citizen of Great Yue.

I, Ergou,

have learned my lesson!

Why are you gawking at?

I thought...

the armor is empty!

Turns out there's someone!

Can you even breathe in there?

You must stink by now, brother!

Such a venomous tongue!

Devil does what a devil does!

t/n: RUNNNNNNNNN FORREST!

What?

That's got nothing to do with my venomous tongue!

Brother Meng!

If you kissed Xiang Liu,

would he die?

C'mon,

let me carve the words for you!

I'm sorry! I'm sorry, Brother Meng!

I was wrong, I was wrong!

I'm sorry!

Yep, carve it right here!

And here,

and HERE!

I'm sorry, I'm sorry!

I was wrong!

Whoa...

her laughing was really loud!

That was quite terrifying!

Empress!

Zhao Ergou said you were...

Listen up, Devil!

Next time we meet,

I'll drag you to hell again!

Fall into darkness,

and the karmic flames will burn you to ashes!

Sure,

next time I want the sauna!

Why is everyone leaving?

We're not celebrating?

We just achieved something amazing!

This battle

rested entirely on your Empress.

She alone...

carried all that hatred,

lying in wait beside Xiang Liu.

All these years...

it must've been painful for her.

Her, alone?

No!

She wasn't alone.

She wasn't alone?

That seagull!

Come,

we have one last task.

That seagull is Yun Xiao,

the Imperial Preceptor.

That's the Imperial Preceptor?

That night,

when he sacrificed himself to

wield the Dragon Vein to seal off the world,

his soul should have scattered.

But the Dragon Vein saved his life.

When he woke up,

he found himself possessing a seagull.

So this revenge

was plotted by

him and the Empress together.

Yeah,

I should've figured it out sooner.

Even the Empress

couldn't have known that much about the Dragon Vein's secrets.

But with him involved,

it all make sense now.

No peeking!

Move over!

It's finally over!

Imperial Preceptor!

If you were to leave this place,

what would you do?

A new beginning?

True!

The imperial court is gone,

there's still much to be done

to restore Great Yue.

Me?

I can't.

I can't even be a proper Empress,

let alone the Emperor.

Why don't you do it?

What's wrong with a seagull?

Seagull Emperor,

it sounds pretty amazing!

Do you know

how much I hate this place,

Imperial Preceptor?

When I killed him,

I felt no shred of guilt.

Honestly...

it was almost satisfying!

How else

could I have fooled Xiang Liu?

I never wanted to be Empress!

If it weren't for him...

It was...

all because of him!

Guess...

what his last

words were...

He said...

'Chang Le,

I never misjudged you.'

Til this day,

I never understood his words.

Is it...

Did the old fossil know I hated him all along?

I once asked His Majesty

why you were chosen to be Empress.

He said:

'Imperial Preceptor...

what manner of Empress

does Great Yue need?'

I knew...

Chang Le's dream was to

slay demons on the battlefield!

At first,

I thought time would

eventually wear down her dream,

that she'd accept her fate.

And she did accept it.

She stopped running.

But...

she never gave up either.

Before His Majesty's death,

he must have been proud to have chosen

you as the Empress.

He knew...

you are the Empress Great Yue needed.

For Great Yue,

he was a benevolent ruler.

EPISODE EIGHTY FIVE

I am the empress of Great Yue!

To Great Yue,

she was a worthy Empress.

But to the Empress...

it was quite unfair!

True

If it weren't for Empress Chang Le...

killing Xiang Liu? Hmph,

even Kui would...!

KUI!

Ah'chuan!

Once Xiang Liu dies,

I fear the seal on Kui will fail as well!

What are you two doing!?

I knew you'd come!

You are MY beloved!

You dare to send loving glances with a bird!?

Now that the Demon Marshal is dead,

I am the new Demon Marshal!

I'll give you one chance,

be my woman!

In.

Your.

Dreams!

The Dragon vein!?

You fucking tricked me!

t/n: 他娘的 (Tā niáng de) is another curse phrase similar to 他妈的(Tā mā de). Happy swearing.

I am...

the Empress of Great Yue!

The winds of fate, whispers, whispers for you.

I closed my eyes inside the wailing winds.

The winds of fate, whispers, whispers for you.

I closed my eyes inside the wailing winds.

The winds of fate, whispers, whispers for you.

I closed my eyes inside the wailing winds.

The winds of fate, whispers, whispers for you.

I closed my eyes inside the wailing winds.

TO BE CONTINUED . . .

Next Episode

I will...

kill him!

Meng Chuan,

you're at the end of your rope!

I will not fall to you, Meng Chuan!

And now,

I will show you the true

Dao of Thunder!

For whom do you cry out!?

The Oriental Academy is no safe harbor!

The moment you stepped inside,
