Next on "Paranormal Caught on Camera."
An investigator in Italy feels a spirit...
...before he sees it.
It almost looked like a person floating across, and it sent
a shiver down my spine.
A man's deceased daughter...
Uh-huh.
...sends him a much-needed sign.
My daughter was just reaching out, telling me she's OK.
A glowing object falling in the sky
stuns two friends in Michigan.
And even more paranormal footage you have to see...
What?
...to believe.
The prospect of being terrorized by
something paranormal is, well...
...terrifying.
But on the plus side,
at least the emotions you feel in these situations...
are your own.
Because, as any seasoned investigator will tell you,
the real terror when dealing with otherworldly entities...
happens when you start experiencing...
their inner turmoil,
especially when that turmoil is very...
very dark.
Case in point, a veteran investigator who went
looking for ghosts in a haunted Italian mansion.
And when he found one...
...nearly lost himself in the process.
It's like pure fear, and I can't help it.
July 2025, province of Piacenza, Italy.
There's a storm on its way in, as you can hear and see
by the wind.
So we could be in for quite a rough night.
Urban explorer Matt Nadine is
staying overnight at an abandoned mansion,
which, according to Matt,
has a tragic past, and is reportedly haunted.
by some former residents.
All right, I've brought you inside, out of that wind.
And that residual energy quite quickly...
becomes very apparent to Matt.
I can hear voices, 100%.
Listen closely...
as disembodied voices can be heard, apparently,
chattering.
This is like sensory overload. It is making me ill.
And surprisingly, leaving the experienced
and usually fearless Matt...
freaked out.
I genuinely...
I don't know why, but something is wrong,
and I don't think I--
my body's telling me something's not...
...not right.
My name is Matt, and this is my video.
I heard what sounded like talking, moaning and mumbling.
It was concerning, 'cause I knew there was nobody upstairs.
I don't get it. It's weird.
It's like pure fear and I can't help it.
It's not like me at all.
Something within me took over.
I don't know what it was, and I just, I started to cry
and I've never felt like that before and I've been in a lot
of abandoned buildings over the years.
When you're out on a case, investigators are told to open
themselves up to spirits.
Remember, once you do that, you're opening yourself up to
all types of energy.
And it's very hard to distinguish, well,
why am I sad? Why am I angry?
Is this me? Or is this outside of me?
And though Matt is able to shake off the mansion's
overwhelming sense of dread
and continue with the investigation,
once the thunderstorm hits,
and he begins getting ready for bed,
it offers him something else to deal with.
Watch this window closely.
As I was sat in the place that I decided I was gonna sleep,
all of a sudden, a shadow, like, it almost
looked like a person floating across.
It wasn't movements of someone walking.
It was almost floating.
And it sent a shiver down my spine.
It was quite scary.
When I first saw it, I was thinking, well, perhaps there's
somebody patrolling, and this is just their shadow
as they're outside the building.
But then I thought, well, who would be checking up
on this mansion in that kind of situation with that weather?
We know the storm's kicking off.
This is like proper horror [bleep].
First of all, I wonder, is there a balcony out there
or something to walk by like that?
And if there is no balcony, how would that
even be possible?
So that's a great capture and very, very unnerving.
Matt checks out the area just to make sure
the shadow isn't another person.
And when he verifies that he is indeed completely alone,
his sense of dread...
only builds.
Nothing, and I mean nothing,
or anywhere I have ever been has felt like it wants to hurt me
as much as that place.
I felt threatened by it, whereas every other building
I've ever been in, I didn't.
Though, despite his fear, Matt, at heart,
is a thrill-seeker,
and is able to stay the rest of the night, walking away with
some great evidence, and an investigation...
he'll never forget.
That's storm on its way out.
I would like to know who that spirit was that walked past
the front of the building,
but because the night was so crazy and it was so scary,
I don't want to take away from that.
It was almost perfect, and I feel like I don't know
whether I would ever replicate that again.
It was brilliant.
Coming up, a man in Idaho...
Uh-huh.
...gets a sign from his deceased daughter.
2 If you believe in the afterlife,
do you plan to communicate with your loved ones
once you pass on?
If so...
...how would you do it?
A brief show of force will get their attention,
but might also pass for a freak occurrence,
while something more subtle and specific...
could go unnoticed.
But if not,
will feel undeniably clear and soothing.
One father believes his daughter,
who died years ago,
chose the latter method.
And he has the evidence...
to prove it.
Uh-huh.
Spring 2019, Caldwell, Idaho.
It's been about a year since DJ Torsch's daughter,
Nisse...
died by suicide.
And while that's something a parent
never fully recovers from,
on this day, as he's walking
into the living room from the kitchen,
something catches his eye
that instantly shifts his perspective.
Oh, yeah, at least.
Uh-huh.
DJ is stunned...
because it's not just any picture swinging on the wall.
It's a picture of Nisse.
My name is DJ Torsch and these are my videos.
I had to get my wife to come in and make sure that I wasn't
losing it or something, you know?
So I brought her in there to verify that I'm not crazy,
I'm really seeing this.
And it was more about the feeling that came
associated with that as well, because at first it was just
shock and awe, but then the feeling that
kind of overwhelmed, not just me, but her as well.
The picture went on for a good, 10, 15 minutes easily,
where it would speed up, slow down, speed up,
and slow down.
Just watching it still to this day, it grabs me by
the heartstrings for sure.
And the message that I received, per se,
was my daughter was just reaching out,
telling me she's OK,
and not to worry, and she's still there with us
kind of thing. And so for me, it, um--
it was a blessing. It was really nice.
This video is different from other videos where you have
objects kind of moving on a wall that are hanging
because number one, this continues for about
10 or 15 minutes, according to the witnesses.
Number two, if you look over the doorway in that arch,
it looks like there's some ivy, some sort of a plant
that's hanging.
If this was a draft, let's say a fan or something was blowing
the picture in just the right way, that ivy is
so close to the picture, I would also expect that it
would probably be moving because it's very lightweight.
A portrait on the wall, a picture like this, would be
a perfect object for a spirit to move because it doesn't take
a lot of energy to be able to do that.
It's something that they could do to show that they are there
and to signify that they are present with
whomever is witnessing it.
It's basically waving, trying to get attention.
Saying like, "Hey, look over here, look at me, look at me."
I 100% would agree.
This is someone trying to say, "Hi, I'm here.
I'm here with you."
And while there have been other signs over the years
that DJ hasn't been able to capture on camera,
he did recently capture this.
So for some reason, our clock in here,
not that I'm offended, but it started...
working. And if you look at the...
the minute hand, it's like, cruising.
This grandfather clock that I bought, I want to say
four years ago,
I've never plugged it in or anything like that.
It's just been for decor.
And next thing I knew, it started chiming.
And I'd never even heard this clock chime before.
So I thought that was kind of ironic.
And then I went over to look at it and instead of keeping
normal time, it's kind of like a fast watch.
If you look at the minute hand,
it's like, cruising.
Spirits are energy.
When you have a spirit so close to a device and all this
momentum happening with this portrait,
and then the clock turns on...
When you add all this up, we are witnessing
a paranormal event,
and a rather emotional one at that.
An event that, combined with all of the other signs,
not only comforts DJ,
but also reaffirms his belief
in the afterlife.
This experience and the others that I've experienced have
absolutely changed me.
Oh, yeah, at least.
Uh-huh.
I believed in it, but did I ever experience anything to
this level? Never.
It was always subjective.
It's like, well, you never know.
Could happen. Possibly.
Maybe.
But after the things that I've experienced, it's not even
a maybe anymore. It's an absolute.
Coming up...
a falling bright light in the sky...
...stuns two men near Lake Michigan.
2 Most people are familiar...
with the Bermuda Triangle.
But did you know there's a similar place in the US?
It's called the Lake Michigan Triangle.
And just like Bermuda's,
planes, ships...
and people...
have mysteriously disappeared within the area.
And while some believe
the unexplained occurrences are because of
a negative energy vortex,
others...
feel it's the work of aliens,
because a lot of UFOs have been sighted there.
And if the recent footage that two friends in Michigan caught
is any indication...
...believers in the alien theory...
are onto something.
September 12th, 2024. Scottville, Michigan.
It's just before sunrise.
Eric Sola and John Campbell are on a fishing trip
when, as Eric reels his line in,
he spots a ball of light in the sky.
Which is odd, but nothing too crazy.
That is,
until it starts descending.
So he pulls out his phone...
and records.
What is that?
That's slowly dropping, dude.
Dude, look at that beam of light.
What is that?
- I'm John. - I'm Eric.
And these are our videos.
When we saw the whole thing dropping and we saw that beam
of light, that's when it was just like,
you know, our heads were like, whoa, all right.
And then next thing I know, it started splitting.
What is that?
I'm just kind of like, whoa, what is that?
What is going on right now?
Dude, that is nuts.
I've never seen a light come on like that before, where you see
the beam spread out like a triangle.
That's when I started thinking that this isn't something
that's easily explained.
Definitely not.
So what did Eric and John
just witness?
Watching this, you can certainly rule out all
of the standard things.
This is not a plane, not a helicopter, not a drone,
not anything conventional whatsoever.
He describes it as radiating this beam of light.
And I didn't see so much a beam of light as an extension of
the object itself.
It almost looked like the underside of whatever this
thing is had opened.
And then that second light, that second sphere,
emerges from it.
Dude, there's another one coming out of it now.
I found myself thinking, is this some sort of mobile
portal or something that it shows up and then it opens
a pathway that lets something else through?
Mobile is certainly apt.
Because about three months later, in Crystal, Michigan,
John is driving to work
when he spots another anomaly in the sky.
So he records it...
for Eric to see.
Eric, I got what you've seen the other day.
It's 8:53 in the morning.
Sun is up.
There's nothing that should be
that bright in the sky right now.
It didn't do anything spectacular like
the other one did. There was no light projection.
There was no movement.
It didn't look like it was falling from the sky.
So who knows what that was?
To me, it was just odd,
because one we had just seen something like that.
So he sent it to me, and I was like,
we're seeing stuff in the sky, man, and that doesn't
make sense either.
Or maybe, given where these objects were spotted,
it all makes perfect sense.
The Lake Michigan Triangle, also known as the Great Lakes
Triangle, stretches from Ludington to Benton Harbor to
Manitowoc, Wisconsin. And this area is
very notable for the strange history of ships,
aircraft, and people that have gone missing in these waters.
Historians attribute these mysterious disappearances to
dangerous conditions, unpredictable storms,
or sudden weather changes. But paranormal enthusiasts say,
"There's something supernatural
taking place here."
Supernatural, and very possibly...
alien.
Dude, there's another one coming out of it now.
But wherever these objects are from,
and whatever they're doing,
Eric and John remain committed to finding the answer.
I was hoping...
that maybe doing this would get some more exposure,
because most people that saw it
were just kind of playing it off.
Like, "Oh, yeah, you know, it's cool,
but don't know what it is." And it's like,
get excited about this.
Like, this is something that you don't see every day,
people, you know?
Dude, look at that beam of light.
What is that?
Coming up, what is haunting this junkyard...
...in California?
2 While many believe that hauntings happen in places
where people have died
or are buried,
such as the site of a tragic accident
or a cemetery...
there are other lesser known locations that experience
paranormal activity as well...
some of which serve as a kind of last stop
for inanimate objects...
that experienced their own kind of death.
Just ask the owner of a junkyard in California...
...whose large supply of wrecks from all over the area
are apparently...
irresistible to some local spirits.
Fall 2025. Hesperia, California.
Leonardo Alvarez, the owner of a junkyard,
is working late one night
when he thinks he sees a burglar
on his property.
So he sends a couple of guys to go check it out.
But after searching the premises,
they find nothing.
And Leonardo, now even more freaked out,
starts live streaming just in case.
Watch closely.
Ah...
Aye! Aye!
Watch again,...
...as a dark figure can be seen darting around a couple of cars
followed shortly after...
Aye! Aye!
...by another one.
What is going on here?
My name is Leonardo and this is my video,
Like, that's how I could explain it.
So it looked like it was waving itself from side to side.
And when the other shadow came through, it was like
a human shadow.
And when I seen that human shadow,
I got paralyzed.
And I'm like, are you seeing what I'm seeing?
It had to be a ghost or something.
They appear to be shadowy figures moving in and out.
They seem to appear and disappear randomly as
they're moving around the yard.
We don't see any features at all.
We don't see any colors
in clothing or characteristics of faces.
Generally, we would call this a shadow person.
Shadow people are really interesting phenomena.
A lot of times, we will see them at the site of tragedies,
and some people believe that they're more observers than
a haunting would be, meaning that, like,
a haunting might be there because something happened,
where a shadow person might be there to observe.
Whatever the shadows are doing,
Leonardo and his employees
are terrified.
I was so terrified, but I was laughing.
It was a nervous laughter, and more than nervous,
I was scared out of my socks, honestly.
You know, people react differently to different
situations, so just the fact that these guys are laughing
doesn't negate the fact that they were petrified in my book.
Petrified, but not necessarily surprised.
Because about five years ago, when Leonardo's landlord asked
him to take a few photos of the property for a state
inspection, something truly bizarre happened.
We took some pictures and we sent them out to the landlord.
And the next day he said, "Hey, did you see that picture?"
And I'm like, "What picture?"
He's like, "Dude, there was a ghost there."
And I'm like, "What do you mean a ghost?"
I started looking at the pictures
and I couldn't believe my eyes.
It's like a whole body, but the head section
is missing.
It makes sense to me that if there is an entity walking
around, it's manifesting in a way that kind of shows
how it passed away.
And it's probably a spirit attached to one of the vehicles
that are on the site.
We received cars from insurance companies,
from police impounds, from different sources,
and some cars come really, really destroyed.
You could tell somebody passed away in those vehicles.
Terrifying.
And while Leonardo doesn't plan on changing careers
because of his experiences,
neither he nor his employees
are willing to work late.
Nobody in their right mind will stay there after hours.
As soon as it gets dark,
everybody's outside of the junkyard ready to lock it
in and ready to fly out of there.
Aye! Aye!
Coming up, a man involved in a spirit session...
...is marked by an entity.
2 If you're interested in trying to communicate with spirits,
you should think carefully about how...
and where to go about it,
because there's always a chance
you may conjure up something from the other side...
...that has bad intentions.
Just ask a couple from England,
who, after having a few worrisome experiences,
Oh [bleep].
Holy [bleep].
...realized they should probably move away from
doing their otherworldly communicating at home.
December 19th, 2021. Hampshire, England.
Rosie and Paul Lynch, along with some friends
and family members, are sitting around their living room
conducting a spirit session, hoping to drum up some activity
when their daughter snaps a few photos of the group
in succession.
Later, they look back at the series of photos
and find that one of them
shows an eerie and unexplainable shadow at
Rosie's foot,
and what looks like
horns on top of her forehead,
which understandably... freaks everyone out.
Hi, I'm Paul.
I'm Rosie, and we are from Hampshire in the UK.
Um, the photograph,
you can see a shadow that's coming from the floor,
coming up my leg.
And then they're kind of like, almost like there's like horns
behind my head.
I can't explain it.
The photos taken before, there's nothing there.
There's no shadows.
It's not caused by any light that's in the room.
It's unexplainable.
When you examine these two photographs taken in very quick
succession, you will see clearly, without a doubt,
there is no stain on the floor. There is nothing there.
In the second photo, there is what appears to be horns
slightly above her head
at the same time that this is all taking place.
I can't imagine that there's anything in the room that would
be casting a shadow like that.
And if it were, that would be one hell of a coincidence.
Pun intended.
Something similar happens at their house
on October 23rd, 2022.
Rosie, Paul, and their kids
are using a spirit board
when their daughter notices something on Paul's neck.
This time, in the moment.
Um...
Oh no.
Oh, [bleep].
- That was scary. - That was very scary for me.
Now, this doesn't automatically mean
that we're dealing with something malevolent
or even anything to be worried about.
If this is paranormal in nature, it could be maybe
a spirit trying to get his attention and overdoing it
by causing this kind of reaction, essentially
a ghost allergy.
About a year later,
Paul is by the front door getting ready to go to work
when he hears something
that has also picked up on their doorbell cam.
Morning, mate.
I came out, shut the door,
and then that's when the voice
suddenly said, "Morning, mate."
It was so clear, I thought someone was standing
right behind me.
The good thing about us having cameras all over the place now
is that normal claims now have proof.
This is an actual claim that he probably would have said,
"Hey, man, when I was going out the house, I heard this
disembodied voice," and now we actually can hear it
for ourselves.
So, yes, we hear and see the activity.
But where is it coming from?
And could the Lynches condemn conducting these sessions at
their home have something to do with it?
I've always cautioned people to think twice before you do
investigations in your own home.
It's kind of like putting out scraps of food
for the wild animals outside on your porch.
Do you want those strays and those animals to keep
coming back to you?
A valuable lesson,
that Rosie and Paul seem to have learned.
Yeah. Yeah...
And though some of the activity they captured
is concerning,
it hasn't deterred them
from seeking more answers.
It is.
Mm. No.
Coming up,
did a thunderstorm in Ohio
open a portal to another world?
2 Classifying paranormal events relies on much more than just
knowing different kinds of ghosts and cryptids.
It employs a wide range of knowledge,
from zoology...
to the intricacies of electricity
and magnetic fields.
Which is why the individual expertise of witnesses
is so crucial in figuring out what exactly
we are dealing with.
Unfortunately, as one man in Ohio found out,
all the expertise in the world may not get you
any closer to identifying...
something like this.
May 29th, 2024, in Martinsville, Ohio.
It's early in the morning, and Jim Thumma checks
his outdoor game camera, looking for any wildlife that
may have visited his property overnight.
But all he finds is footage of last night's thunderstorm,
which is fairly unremarkable.
That is, until this happens.
Watch closely.
Watch again.
As a flash of lightning,
then thunder...
is followed by a manifesting...
ball of light.
Jim is blown away.
My name is Jim Thumma, and this is my video.
It looked like a ball of fire.
You can determine what a water droplet might be like
on the lens of the camera,
but none of that is happening here.
This is something that is beyond that lens.
You can see it's not connected to it.
You have what sounds like some sort of crackling noise that's
occurring while this light is appearing.
That's another piece that tells me that this isn't some sort of
camera malfunction or light reflection, that there's
actually an object there that is creating some sort of
a sound or energy that's being
picked up by the microphone on the camera.
Jim studies his capture, but is still unable to
figure out what it could be,
despite what he considers...
his own personal expertise.
So then, if not a camera anomaly or any kind of
weather-related phenomenon
an experienced pilot would recognize,
then what exactly
could it be?
There's all sorts of wild avenues we could explore from
aliens using the electricity in the air to be able to manifest,
to be able to come in, or maybe the fact that
because of all the electricity in the air...
...there's a weakening of the veil
that separates the living from
the dead, and maybe something, some energy was able
to come through.
For his part,
Jim is leaning more towards the alien theory.
That would be cool if I actually got visited.
But regardless of what it actually was,
Jim is happy to have caught it
and is on the lookout for another sighting...
Should he be so lucky.
I'd like to know what the heck it is.
In fact, I installed a second camera.
But unfortunately, nothing-- nothing.
What should you do in the event
you witness something paranormal?
Here are some tips to get it all on camera.
- Check your footage... - It's becoming more prominent.
...and then check it again.
It's massive!
Trust that what you're seeing...
really is otherworldly.
What is that?
Don't stop recording.
My body's telling me some things not right.
Even if you're scared.
And if you do catch something,
email us at submitparanormal@gmail.com.
Your footage could be seen right here
on "Paranormal Caught on Camera."
