It was the love of the cold and ruthless Ice Prince

that saved the stand-in princess.

Will the investigation into the count’s family still take some time?

Ah, I believe the report should be arriving any moment now.

Your Highness.

Lady Katrina has finally recovered enough to eat a normal-sized meal.

No, um...

It’s true that her complexion is gradually improving.

Your Highness Clarence.

With all due respect, I came here as a student who needed etiquettes.

So, um...

Isn’t that a punishment the real Charlotte Sashabara should receive?

You’re not Charlotte Sashabara, are you?

Isn’t there anything else you’d like to do?

In that case...

Beautiful.

Your Highness, why don’t we go over there?

Katrina

It’s cold.

Why am I like this?

No, I'm sorry.

You just dove right in headfirst.

I wonder how long it’s been since I’ve smiled this much.

Wow, this is the first time in my life I’ve seen such a beautiful sight.

His Highness Clarence is truly amazing.

No, this power gave me quite a hard time.

When I was a child, I couldn’t control this powerful ability.

Whenever my emotions ran high, my magic would often run wild,

and I’d end up hurting the people around me.

Since I’ve been living here, the struggles with ice magic have eased somewhat.

As for the rest...

Well, I asked my father and Duke Bell to spread some bad rumors about me.

So that’s what Lady Charlotte was talking about.

That you're ugly and arrogant, that you treat people like insects,

and that at the manor... all of that was on purpose.

Wait, I don’t remember spreading rumors that extreme.

It’s getting chilly. Let’s head inside soon.

Yes.

Thank you for showing me such a beautiful view.

Nina, Gon.

Your Highness, it's here...

Thomas.

The investigation report on the House of Count Sashabara has just arrived.

It says Katrina is the daughter of Count Sashabara and one of his maids.

What kind of life did Katrina lead in such circumstances?

Your Highness.

It’s worse than I imagined.

What do you take her for?

Katrina.

I won’t let her suffer any more sadness.
