Bad news comes piercing through

this throbbing heartbeat that's out of my control.

The breathing of the undisturbed city...

Only the curiosity in my heart disturbs the quiet.

Embracing the dream that will absolutely not be manipulated

by anyone, I'll strike at tomorrow.

Surpassing the flow of time,

I want to live, feeling the wind.

Set me free. It's still too soon

for me to reach the eternal sleep

With a look in my eyes the color of red heat

even to the point I'm worn out, I will make my way through!

Ryonan, Shohoku's rival, entered a battle against the champion of the Kanagawa, Kainan.

Lead by Sendoh and Fukuda, Ryonan maintained a lead in the first half.

Entering the second half, Kainan showed its true strength and close the gap

resulting in Ryonan's substitution of the defensively weak Fukuda to strengthen their defense.

But...

Takasago...

Cover Uozumi tightly.

Okay.

Put him out of the game.

Okay!

Defense, number 4!

What?

That's the fourth time! This is his fourth foul!

Wait a minute, where did I foul him?

Back off, Uozumi!

I only stood there. How is that my foul?

Watch more carefully!

Technical foul, blue, number 4.

Uozumi argued with the referee and received a technical foul.

With that he had a total of 5 fouls and was ejected.

There are seven minutes remaining.

Due to the absence of Uozumi, Ryonan must enter a tough battle.

The road to the national championships sure is a hard one.

#65 The Strongest Rivals! Sendoh vs. Maki

That idiot doesn't have what it takes to be a captain.

Ejected for arguing with the ref is simply preposterous!

Uozumi regretfully got off the court

while Kainan's Maki calmly shot his two free throws.

Kainan finally caught up and got the lead.

Good good, don't go soft, you don't need to show any mercy.

Looks like the situation is out of control.

It looks like this is it for Ryonan.

I wonder...

Sendoh!

Did he lose his patience?

Sendoh is awesome!

He immediately regained the lead.

Well done, that's our Sendoh-san!

Sendoh is really an awesome player.

Facing Kainan,

Ryonan lost their large pillar Uozumi and can't use Fukuda.

Ryonan should've lost all hope of winning.

Why do their eyes show no sign of give up?

I don't like this.

Obviously defeated.

"No problem, as long as Sendoh is still here, he will find a way."

Their eyes seem to be saying that...

Steal!

His height makes a difference.

One man fast break.

Sendoh versus Maki.

Is it time for a new rising star?

We depend on you, Sendoh!

Don't think that I will just let you dunk like that.

I will dunk it, no matter what!

That's only if you can...

The match is getting heated up.

Maki and Sendoh are battling.

They are both showing extreme rivalry.

I wonder if Hanamichi fouled out again today.

I heard from Haruko-san that Shohoku beat Takezato 120 to 81.

As for Hanamichi's performance, she didn't say a word.

He probably just fouled out again, and got scolded by Gori until his face turned blue.

What... what the hell was that?

It's Hanamichi...

Hey, how did the match go, Hanamichi?

It seems like you are full of energy. Got fouled again didn't you?

Ignoring and not listening.

Hey, Hanamichi!

It's Maki!

They are retaking the lead.

Sendoh answered right back!

Ryonan is leading by one again.

Facing the king, Maki, Sendoh won't back off one bit.

Awesome!

This is truly a battle of the superstars.

Damn!

Train with full concentration.

Didn't go in again... Damn...

Take it.

Pops...

Sakuragi-kun, continue, continue.

I know...

I didn't get a chance to show off at today's match. I have too much energy.

Take this! Beat Sendoh and Fuku-chan shot!

Sendoh!

Maki!

This is becoming a one-on-one between Maki and Sendoh.

Yes, look, both of them have started to show their full leadership abilities.

Also the result of this match is beginning to blur.

It's the last five minutes.

Coming, coming!

Yes, Akagi residence.

No, sorry, my brother isn't back from the match.

Alright, Maki-san!

Kainan retakes the lead.

This is Kainan's true ability.

Anzai-sensei...?

Collapsed!?

www.animanganucleus.org

Let's show your girl your best move.

Doesn't matter if you win of lose as long as you did it your best!

www.animanga.gen.tr

Pass the ball, someone is waiting!

Trust will be the key to getting his friendship.

Ryonan, do your best!

Kainan!

Beat them Ryonan!

Sendoh-san is starting to show fatigue.

This has never happened before.

Kainan is truly a scary opponent.

He is tired.

Of course he is.

The offense and defense both depend on Sendoh; he will obviously get tired.

Seems like guarding Maki is a much tougher task then we thought.

If this continues, it might affect our match against Shohoku.

What do you mean, Fukuda.

If this continues, it will hurt Sendoh's pride.

No matter what, we can't let him lose.

I understand Fukuda, you are right about this.

Go lessen Sendoh's pressure from playing offense.

Ryonan is subbing.

I'm counting on you, Fukuda.

You are the only one who can help Sendoh now.

It's Fukuda, he is coming back into the game.

He seems pretty popular.

Fukuda! Fukuda!

In terms of offensive power, his ability is no less than Sendoh's.

Fukuda, Fukuda, Fukuda....

I see Taoka-senpai is going to fight this with points.

This is exciting.

Let me tell you, Maki-san is not the only Kainan player who can score.

We have also Jin-san.

Don't you forget, there's still me, the super rookie Kiyota Nobunaga.

Let's go again. We can definitely beat Kainan.

Right, we must win!

We must defeat them.

Akagi-kun!

Is Akagi-kun from Shohoku High School is here?

Akagi-kun!

Akagi-kun!

Akagi-kun from Shohoku High School.

What's going on?

Is Akagi-kun here?

I am Akagi.

Oh, you are Akagi-kun?

Yes.

It's a telephone call for you.

Seems like there's an emergency.

What's going on?

I don't know.

Hello? Oh, Haruko.

What's going on? Calm down.

What!?

Anzai-sensei collapsed?

I got it.

Which hospital is he in?

I will go there.

Anzai-sensei...

Go! Everyone Go!

We need to go to Kitamura General Hospital.

You are so big. Do you play basketball?

Can you hurry please?

I've worn this pair of shoes for a while now.

Is it time to change them?

What the hell is this thing?

It thinks that it's better than humans? It doesn't afraid of me.

That's a though one.

What's this? Damn you.

According to the doctor he is not in any danger right now.

I can't believe he has this kind of sickness.

What are we going to do about tomorrow's match?

Now isn't the time to be worrying about the match.

It went in!

Alright!

One basket difference!

Last 20 seconds.

Fuku-san, you are so reliable!

Watch him up top, guard Maki tightly!

Keep going!

Less than 10 seconds!

No time left! Hurry up, hurry up!

Maki, hold the ball, don't lose it!

Dammit, I can't steal it.

Good job, Ikegami!

Got it! Sendoh got the ball!

Time?

There's still time left!

Fast break!

Maki is fast! He caught up!

Good, tied him up!

Strange... if I were Sendoh...

Scored! Sendoh scored!

Very good, Sendoh!

Times up!

Overtime, overtime!

Good job, Sendoh!

Well done, Sendoh, well done!

We are proud of you!

As expected from Sendoh-san! He is a genius!

After a two minute rest break, we will have a five minute overtime.

Ah, you guys are here too?

It's still early.

Room 306!

Sakuragi Hanamichi...

Sakuragi...

Sakuragi...

Sakuragi, where is sensei?

Where is Anzai-sensei?

Awakening from an intense dream

to the strongly sunlit morning.

While listening to my favorite tune

I toss the shirt I'm washing over my arm.

A guy last night said in a tired voice,

"I want some excitement" "I want to break up now."

Please don't be down.

Caught by the glittering moment, I want to be enthralled

Repenting isn't wonderful,

but after all you're not alone. Woah

The tears starting to overflow are beautiful

People will, once again, be able to spend time

on an unending journey.
