So the history of Lang Pioneer Village is actually really

interesting.

It was created in 1967. They originally only had 12 buildings

on site. The first one was the mill where we are now. This is

the only building that's original to this space.

And then all of these other buildings were moved in piece by

piece from different areas, like, around the region. And

they had about 12 at the time of opening and it is now expanded

to just over 30 buildings on 25 acres.

the family that originally lived in the cabin,

the original, the grandparents were named John and Agnes. And

they came from Scotland in the 1820s with their six sons.

I found that David married a woman named Jane.

And they had eight children who have very sketchy records with a

lot of, like, question marks in them.

They had a son named Thomas who only lived from 1839 to 1852.

Which would have made him either 12 or 13, depending on when his

birthday fell.

We've set up a Boo Bear as well. 'Cause the little boy's

spirit seems to float between the buildings and stuff.

So again, if the red light goes on, the white is the

running light. If red light goes on, it's static energy that it's

detecting, if the green light goes on, something's moving it.

Blue light is temperature's getting hotter, and purple's

pretty amazing confirmation that our little ghosty was there.

And then, at the mill, I knew I was feeling something.

Having Kevin confirm it made me realize I really need to start trusting my ghost hunting

instincts.

Alright, so this ghost hunt, I have to say, pleasantly surprised.

We got cursed off a little bit.

But overall, no terrifying ghosties.

It was scenic, it was beautiful, and I feel like I could sleep

here, so that means I had a great ghost hunt.

It was a little spooky at times, but I love it here.
